Saras and Kumud 12 February 2025: The Episode starts with Kumud meeting everyone as the time has come for her to go back home. Kumud hugs everyone and cries. She takes their blessings and looks at Vidyachatur. He asks her to think again, and he won’t care about anyone if she says she won’t go. She says I m going with my trust, if I settle down, I will come to take your blessings, don’t worry about me, I have promised mum that I won’t let anyone do injustice towards me.
He says ok. Pramad says can we leave now. Everyone looks at him. Kumud signs Vidyachatur not to tell Pramad anything. Vidyachatur says Kumud that this house is always open for you. Pramad says Kumud, if you want you can stay here, I mean if you want to spend more time with your family, you can. Badimaa says we did not meet well in the marriage, but yesterday we could not speak. She introduces herself saying I’m Kumud’s Bua, and I stay here because my husband was a bad man, he left me when I was pregnant.
Badimaa says I had bear everything for the sake of marriage, but when he did theft in thos house, I gave him in police, he was in jail for 15 years and I m still here, my brother gave me respect and gave me rights to take decisions. She says Vidyachatur took care of her and Kumari. Badimaa taunts Pramad showing the importance of girls in their house. She says I did not gave birth to Kumud, but she has my values. If anyone hurts her self esteem, she won’t think twice, because she has the courage to fight for herself against anyone. Badimaa after saying this does Pramad’s aarti and smiles. She does the tilak while he looks on. She says won’t you touch my feet. Pramad just bends a little and asks Kumud to leave.
Kumud greets Badimaa and smiles. Everyone looks on. Vidyachatur worries for Kumud. Pramad and Kumud are on the way. Some goons stop them midway. Pramad asks them why they have stopped him. The goons ask him to give them everything he is wearing. Pramad says do you know who am I. Pramad argues with them. They beat Pramad. Kumud gets out of the car and they catch her too. They ask her to give her jewellery. She asks them to leave Pramad and gives them the ornaments. They ask her to give the mangalsutra. She is hesitant, but seeing Pramad, she gives it. Saras comes there and catches the mangalsutra Kumud has thrown. Kumud is shocked to see him. Saras keeps the mangalsutra.
Budhidhan talks to Vidyachatur on phone. He says I asked Kumud not to go as she would be safe in my house. Budhidhan is shocked and says you don’t worry. Vidyachatur talks to him indirectly. Budhidhan says we will inform you when you reach here. Vidyachatur says Kumud will herself tell me about her welfare. Budhidhan understands that Vidyachatur came to know everything about Pramad. He tells his wife what Vidyachatur spoke. Pramad has made us ashamed infront of them. Alak says they would have known this any day, you should have thought about this. Budhidhan says I thought well before making this relation. Alak says think what might have happened with Kumud that they agreed for the marriage. Kalika hears this and smiles.
Saras fights with the goons. Pramad falls on the car and does not fight. Saras beats all of them. They run away. Pramad gets up and looks at him. Saras picks up Kumud’s jewellery from the ground. Pramad sees him giving those back to Kumud. Pramad says great, why do you want to prove. He says I understand everything, my dad worries about Kumud a lot, so he has sent you here. He says I could not protect her from the goons, and you saved her jewels and also her mangalsutra, so whats my need, no one needs me. Pramad leaves in his care leaving Saras and Kumud on the road.
Guniyal is worried about Kumud and discusses about her with Badimaa and Vidyachatur. Badimaa says trust her, Kumud will not fail, as we are with her. Guniyal says we are not with her, if anything wrong happens with her then. Vidyachatur says she won’t hide anything from us. She is adamant, she will always be on her decisions. Guniyal says she will not show her pain. Kusum says if she is in front of us then, shall I go to her house for few days? Badimaa says this would be good. She says think only about Kumud. She married to Pramad without asking anything, we should support her. If Kusum stays there, we can know about Kumud. Vidyachatur says there won’t be any problem if Kusum stays there.
Saras looks at Kumud and gives her the mangalsutra. She takes her mangalsutra and says you will always wear this as it will denote your relation with Pramad. I will take care of this, and its a promise to my mum, myself and you.
Saras and Kumud walking on the road. The song Tadap Tapad ke Is dil se Aah nikalti Rahi…….. song plays in the background. Kumud and Saras look at each other. Lut Gaye hum teri mohabbat me… plays.. (They really got ruined in love, the line is justified on them!!) They think about their love moments as they meet few people on the road. They take lift. Saras sits on his knees and helps Kumud get into the bullock cart. She steps on his leg and gets into the cart. Kumud and Saras cry as tears roll down their cheeks. (Each lone of the song looks so perfect on them, I wish they were together, sad to see them like this!!) Saras looks at her and thinks of the last time they met. They get down the cart and come home. Saras steps back and lets Kumud step in first.
Kumud
comes home. Pramad’s mum asks how was the trip, did Pramad do anything there. Kumud says he left me midway. She says I knew this when he came alone. She asks her to freshen up and take rest. She says I m sorry on Pramad’s behalf, but don’t tell this to Budhidhan. Kumud says don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. She asks where is your mangalsutra. Kumud shows her and says its broken, he broke it, he will get it repaired. Pramad’s mum says Pramad’ dad chose you seeing your trust. Saras smiles. Pramad’s mum thinks whats happening with Kumud. She prays to the Lord.
Pramad is in the room. Kumud comes there. He sees her and calls Kalika. Kalika comes. He asks for food. Kumud says I will do his every work, you go from here. Pramad looks on. Kumud tells Pramad I will bring food for you, don’t be angry on food, and why do you get annoyed on everything, your parents are worried about you, and why don’t you like me, share with me whats your likes and dislikes. Pramad gets angry and says do you want to share pain, fine, I will tell you everything, just tell me who was Saraswatichandra. Kumud is shocked. Pramad smiles and says what happened, you wanted to share the pain, lets share, lets talk, you start it. Tell me who was Saraswatichandra. Kumud is speechless. Pramad pushes her and leaves.
Kalika bumps into Saras. She tries to talk to him and flirts with him. Saras says leave me, are you coming from Pramad’s room, it looks like you spoke to Kumud instead of him. Kalika says you have all the news. Saras says your face shows everything. He says Pramad’s wife is there to take care of him. Kalika leaves in anger.
The next morning, Budhidhan asks on the dining table where is Saras. Alak says he will come. Budhidhan asks Pramad why did you leave Kumud mid way. Pramad is shocked. Pramad’s mum tries to interrupt. Budhidhan shouts on Pramad. He says Naveenchandra brought Kumud safely home. He says he is not a man enough. Pramad shouts yes, I m not a son, not a husband, you have sent Naveenchandra because you don’t think I m a man. Budhidhan says yes, my decision was right. Budhidhan says if anything happened to Kumud, I would have not forgiven myself. Pramad argues with his dad. Both of them shout on each other. Kumud is tensed seeing their verbal fight.
Pramad says you should have sent Naveenchandra with Kumud, why did you send me with her. Budhidhan says because NaveenChandra is not her husband. Murakh Das brings Kusum inside the house. Everyone are shocked to see her. Budhidhan controls his anger and ends the fight. Kusum greets everyone. Kumud goes to Kusum. Kalika comes and says NaveenChandra is not in his room. Kusum asks Kumud who is this NaveenChandra, you did not tell us about him. Pramad tells Kumud you did not tell her about him, he is more than a son for this house. And he became a Lord after saving Kumud, you should meet him first. Pramad shouts for NaveenChandra. Kumud tries to take care of the situation. Pramad calls Naveenchandra. Kumud take Kusum with her. Saras comes. Pramad says come, I called you. Kumud leaves with Kusum. Pramad asks where were you. Saras says I was on the terrace. Pramad says you brought Kumud safely home. He says someone came from Kumud’s house. Kumud’s sister came. Saras reacts saying Kusum came. Everyone are shocked as Saras tells Kusum.
Saras makes some excuses saying he spoke to Kusum on phone some day. Pramad says you should be happy that you became a protector Lord today. Budhidhan asks Pramad to shut up as Kusum came home. He says he don’t want any nuisance at home in her presence. Murakh Das asks Saras why he is worried. Saras says yes. Saras hears Budhidhan and his wife arguing loudly. Saras tells Murakh Das he will have food later. Saras is worried and thinks this family gave him a new life, he prays the Lord to keep peace in this house. Kumud comes to the kitchen. Kalika says your sister came here for the first time and Pramad created a nuisance. Murakh Das asks Kalika to stop it. Kalika says I did not mean that. Kumud gives her a hard look. Kalika leaves. Kumud thinks what will she say to Kusum. Kusum says the truth.
