Imlie 1 August 2023: Imlie asks Atharva to stop giving excuses and change himself. Atharva says he should have someone to change, she will leave him again soon. Imlie says she is bounded by his promise and her heart is bounded by his love. Atharva says he sought her help when he was intoxicated and doesn’t need her help now. Imlie challenges to change him and says she is stubborn like her mother who changed the situation around her. Atharva walks to kitchen and munches roti. Imlie snatches roti and stuffs brush in his mouth saying no breakfast without brushing his teeth. She changes Atharva’s lazy hobbies slowly, forces him to perform yoga and then practice songs. Jane Kyun Dil Jaanta Hai Tu Hai To I Will be Alright. Atharva feels irritated seeing her following her everywhere, tricks her, and locks himself in a room. Imlie knocks door. Atharva says he has lost hope and doesn’t want to change.
She says she will change him until she is here. He says what after that, he disappointed his parents and would disappoint even her. Imlie leaves.Rudra and Devika thank him for changing Atharva just in a day and make him wake up early and exercise. Imlie says Atharva doesn’t want to change. Devika says Atharva told he doesn’t want to forget Chini, but he is ready for that now. Rudra says god and fate united Atharva and Imlie and she should not give up easily. Devika says her MIL always used to say to never lose hope. Rudra says they both are with her. Atharva silently gets out of his room. Imlie offers him juice. Atharva asks what it. Imlie says its alcohol. Atharva asks what? Imlie says its a juice. He says he is not a kid. She says that is what, he is an adult and should take up his responsibility; he is his parent’s concern, siblings’ care, and family’s hope, but he failed them all; she will not tolerate him troubling her family. She asks if he apologized his parents. He says he did. She says he didn’t seek their forgiveness and describes the negative effects of alcohol. She says she will show her anger if he shows his anger on her as they are no more a couple now, etc. Athrav stands silently.
Imlie gets a call from Bhaskar Times asking why she has applied for a job in her own company. Imlie says life has taught her an important lesson not to give an important position to anyone without testing them and then repent later, her father worked hard to become a boss of Bhaskar Times, asks if she got a job or not. Employee says there is an intern’s position vacant. Imlie thanks her and says even her mother started her career as intern first. Shivani wants to her and asks when she can’t handle Atharva, how will she handle a job. Akash tells Keya that Imlie can’t transform Arto easily as Arto is stubborn. Keya says even uncultured Imlie is stubborn, what if she changes Arto and he gets into their family business. Imlie confronts Shivani with a befitting reply and says she herself will get on her feet with a job and then think of others. Keya tells Akash that they need to chop off Imlie’s feathers. Akash asks how.
Anu checks Chini’s jewelry sets and taunts Arpita and Sundar that they gave everything to Imlie and kept only a few sets for Chini. Sundar says Anu taught Chini to be materialistic and hence she ruined Imlie’s life and doesn’t know the real meaning of love. Anu says she doesn’t want to hear their lecture. Arpita shuts Anu’s mouth. Rudra and Arpita call Sundar and Arpita and describe how Imlie is trying to transform Atharva. Chini rushes in and asks if it was her florist’s call. Anu says it was Rana’s call who were praising Imlie. Arpita and Sundar ask her to continue her drama and walk away. Anu tells Chini that whatever she snatched from Imlie with great effort, Imlie is getting it back. Chini says she is getting more than what she had thought of from Abhishek, so she is not bothered.
Keya tells Akash that she has invited Arto’s alcoholic friends who will change Imlie’s juice glass into alcohol glass. Friends play loud music and dance. Rudra asks Akash who are they. Akash says they are Arto’s friends who have come to cheer up Arto. Rudra gets angry seeing alcohol at home and orders Akash to send them out. Keya stops him and says they can’t be dependent on Imlie forever and have to change him themselves. Arto starts alcohol party with his friends. Imlie silently watches him. Arto thinks he can’t increase Imlie’s hope and hence has to drink alcohol and break her heart.
Atharva sips alcohol and feels weird. Rudra gets angry seeing him alcohol partying with his friends. Atharva tells his friend its bitter. Keya asks Akash if he brought countryside liquor. Akash says he got English liquor. Atharva looks at Imlie and asks if she did something. Imlie reveals that she exchanged alcohol with bittgerguard juice. She describes the health benefits of bitterguard. Atharva’s friends angrily walk away while Atharva tries to stop them. Imlie and Rudra rejoice and joke on them. Abhishek with his parents visit Rathores with lots of expensive gifts for Chini. Chini gets excited seeing her gifts and takes them from her. Sundar, Arpita, and Rupali welcome them and asks Chini to touch her in-laws’ feet. Abhishek’s father says daughter’s don’t touch their feet. Chini says well done uncle. Arpita asks her to address her future FIL as papa. Chini says he is rather a santa claus who brought so many gifts for her. Rathods welcome them in to have lunch with them.
Ginni and Ripu notice Imlie reading something and asks what is she reading. Imlie says Ginni is talking to Bhaskar Times’ intern. Devika and Rudra walk to them. Devika says Imlie is that intern. Rudra asks why she became an intern being Bhaskar Times’ owner. Imlie says Bhaskar Times is running with her parent’s blessings, she is just its caretaker. Rudra tells Ginni and Ripu that they should learn from Imlie. Keya with Akash walks to Rudra and says they need to talk. Atharva murmurs Imlie should reform Keya and Akash first. Keya says they arranged cocktail party for Atharva and were humiliated in front of Atharva’s friends. Rudra says if thinking about Atharva’s health is wrong. He asks Akash if brother’s health is more important than strangers’ comments for him. Akash says their guests humiliated them because of Imlie. Rudra says what Imlie did is for Atharva’s betterment. Shivani says he can’t ignore Imlie’s wronging, a guest left from their house unhappy because of Imlie. She as usual starts badmouthing and cursing Imlie. Imlie shuts her mouth with her long emotional dialogues. Ripu and Ginni as usual praise Imlie again.
Abhishek’s mother asks Rathods if they finalize Imlie’s makeup artist. Arpita says they shall finalize the one who did Imlie’s makeup. Chini says Imlie doesn’t have makeup sense or desire and hence she settled with a cheap makeup artist, but she will not. Abhishek says it doesn’t matter if its cheap or costly if an artist is good. Chini changes her tone and says she has a sensitive skin and hence helplessly needs a costly makeup artist. Sundar says lunch is served. At Rana mansion, Devika notices Imlie searching something and questions her. Imlie says she is searching for Atharva and then changes topic. Devika smiles. Imlie says Atharva had bitterguard. Devika praises her for getting a positive change in Atharva. Imlie gets a call from her office asking her to submit her first project.
Chini admires her gifts while everyone enjoys lunch. Abhishek walks to her and asks her if they can go out while elders finish their lunch. Chini refuses. Abhishek says at least they can visit tea tapri/roadside tea stall where he took her during their first meeting. She says cheap stalls are like unwanted old relatives whom nobody want to attend. Abhishek feels aback. Chini says she is just joking. Keya walks to Devika and complains her against Imlie. Devika tongue lashes her and says she should learn from Imlie who is trying to reform Atharva. Atharva walks in just then heavily intoxicated unable to stand still. Keya jokes that a fake doctor Imlie failed. Devika says she should learn how to keep a family united from Imlie.
Atharva falls down in front of Imlie and asks her to stay here till Rudra gets well and leave from there. He insists her to scold him. She brings chilli powder and asks him to have it. Atharva says he will fall sick if he eats chilli powder. Imlie says when he knows what is good and what is bad for him, he should take a right path and stop himself from drowning. He asks for whom shall he reform himself.
