This is fate 23 November 2023: The worker brings the thali for the Arti which she takes placing it in the Mandir when the Maa Sahab asks about Shekar, Rishab and Preeta are both welcomed to the palace, Maa Sahab goes to welcome them instructing the workers to bags inside, Preeta calls her as Rani Sahab but she mentions everyone calls her as Maa Sahab, Shekar also from the balcony welcomes Rishab and Preeta, he inquires if they faced any difficulty coming here, he introduces his mother when Rishab mentions they have already met her, Shekar explains they have come here regarding the deal of their Mumbai palace, Maa Sahab explains she thought they were a new couple and one of the guests as she tends to forget some of them.
Preeta is intrigued with the dance when she is taken there, Preeta also starts dancing when she has a strange
feeling and so she sees Arjun standing at the entrance, Shekar also goes to welcome him, inquiring if he did not face any difficulty, Rishab is furious seeing him so goes straight to stand in front of him, Shekar is confused. Arjun questions how Rishab is but he replies he doesnot seem it is important to tell him, but what is Arjun doing here, he says Rishab can ask Shekar who informs he has come here for the same deal, Arjun says that Rishab might ask Shekar, Rishab goes with him to the corner.
Rishab asks what is going on since they have already finalized the deal and the King really liked his proposal so what is going on, Shekar explains there is some problem since his father has gotten old and is now hospitalized so he is taking care of the business, Rishab is still not able to understand anything going so inquires if the deal is still finalized or there are any if and buts, Shekar mentions that deal is now null and void since the papers were not the official one, so Rishab also knows without them the documents have no legal importance, he explains Arjun gave them a proposal yesterday which is also really nice, they all would sit at the dinner table and decide whose deal is more suitable which they would in the end select.
Preeta is constantly staring at Arjun who is standing by the entrance, he also looks at her which the girl notices, she asks if Preeta knows Arjun, so she replies that she indeed knows him very well, Preeta is about to walk away when she sees Maa Sahaba greeting Arjun, he takes her blessings. Maa Sahab calls Preeta to her introducing Arjun to her, Maa Sahab explains even Arjun is from her city Mumbai, Preeta replies she knows him, but Arjun exclaims that she just thinks she knows him. Preeta replies that he doesnot know that girls have a power to judge the person in their first sight so does he want her to inform everyone about his truth, Arjun exclaims that he doesnot have that free time to talk with her, Preeta in anger also exclaims she doesnot want to talk with him so leaves in anger.
Rishab asks Shekar what they are going to do now, he mentions that he is also going to share the proposal with Arjun, he exclaims someone called his name. arjun questions if he got mad when Rishab explains he doesnot bring emotions into the business. Rishab mentions arjun would be feeling nice since he got a chance to be in this deal, but Arjun must know this deal always belonged to him, Arjun exclaims he also did not come here to have tea, Rishab replies they even give tea to their enemies before sending them away. Arjun replies even he believed in it but not anymore since some people wanted to get rid of him from this world, it is his belief that he should make an impression. Rishab says Arjun watches a lot of movies, Shekar explains they both must calm down since this is just a deal and whoever has the highest bid would get it, Rishab mentions even this time he would have the highest bid, Arjun replies he was not present the last time but whenever he is present, he always wins, Rishab leaves in anger exclaiming he should keep watching Hindi films.
Preeta is standing thinking about her meetings with Arjun, she gets really tensed thinking when he said that Rishab and Preeta are not worthy to be the parents of kavya before taking her away, Maa Sahab comes asking Preeta what has happened but she refuses saying there is nothing of the sort, Maa Sahab calls her daughter asking her to see the face of Preeta as they can see she is in some sort of trouble, Maa Sahab explains if her daughter can see it then how can she not realize there is something wrong, Preeta replies how can she tell her about the situation in her life as it is really troublesome, Preeta mentions she just knows she doesnot want to talk about the problem, Maa Sahab explains she can understand but just wants her to know that situations change with time and everything would be for the better so Preeta must not be so troubled.
Maa Sahab leaves when her daughter asks if Arjun is her first love, Preeta replies that she can never love him and he is even the business rival of Rishab Luthra.
Maa Sahab asks Shekar if they were able to reach a solution, he replies there is still a problem so Maa Sahab calls her daughter in law and Preeta mentioning she already asked him to not keep a meeting as it is an auspicious event so there should not be any problem, she asks the worker to show them their rooms advising Preeta to get ready for the pooja.
Shristhi along with Rakhi are sitting in the pooja, Shristhi after a while opens her eyes since she is really hungry, Karina gets a little mad but Sameer signals her to not lose hope. Shristhi and Rakhi finally complete the ritual before praying.
The worker asks Preeta and Rishab to enter the room, Arjun insists on not taking the room in front of them but the worker explains these are the only two rooms left, Rishab sees Preeta putting the suitcase so asks her to take some rest since they have travelled, Preeta asks Rishab what is the need for this all when he had gotten the deal, Rishab explains he said the same to Shekar who replied that since they have not signed any legal papers then the deal would be considered null and void, he said it is just for the sake of business, Rishab mentions he was shocked since they can not turn back from their words. Preeta is worried as Rishab jee got the deal, he assures nothing is wrong till now, but he feels Shekar is just interested in finance. Preeta is worried thinking what is the problem with Arjun.
Rishab informs Arjun wants to snatch this deal from them but it is not that easy, he notices Preeta is worried so standing assures she must not be worried as he has extreme confidence over his capabilities after which he requests her to not think much about t his deal since today is her varth and if she keeps on thinking then he would feel worried, Preeta agrees when Rishab returns back to his work.
Sameer exclaims how he wises that the KarvaChawth should come more often in the year, Shristhi coming questions what does he mean when he explains that she is quiet since morning so it is really nice, Shristhi mentions she would break the varth after a while after which she would eat all she desires and then also ruin him, Sameer exclaims they should not mess with girls when they have kept their
varth since then they become really dangerous. Rakhi stops Shristhi asking why is she so worried, Dadi mentions she is like this because she has not gotten anything to eat since the morning, Dadi explains she just have to wait for a few more hours. Rkahi gets worried noticing Kritika is really tensed.
Mahesh comes informing Kritika how he is really proud of her as she is the only girl who has not ruined the life of any boy, Karina questions what is he saying when he explains that all wives after some time of their marriage convince how their husbands have ruined their lives, Karina questions if he is talking about Rakhi Bhabhi hearing which he gets worried, Rakhi comes with Dadi questioning what is he talking about, Mahesh mentions he was just saying how Rakhi seems just like her younger self but Rakhi replies that his lie can be caught easily since he doesnot know the trick in lying. Dadi suggests they should go and hear the Katha, Rakhi requests to join them after talking with Rishab and Preeta so she is able to inquire about their health.
Rakhi calls Rishab who hands over the phone to Preeta, she assures she is fine when Rakhi informs they were doing the ritual so are missing her, Preeta replies even the Maa Sahab here has held a pooja and even her daughter in law has kept the fast so she has some company, Rakhi asks her to give Rishab the phone, she also asks if he is fine when Rishab replies they both are fine, Rakhi mentions Preeta is alone so he is the only one by her side so must take care of her, Rishab assures he would good care of her, Rakhi suggests he would not leave her alone, Rishab agrees to her.
There is someone at the door mentioning they are calling them for the pooja, Rishab informs Rakhi who gives them her blessings allowing they can do their work, Rishab offers to take the Thali from Preeta but she is fine.
Preeta is sitting when the guests come and Maa Sahab mentions that they all are a family, but she must meet a new member Preeta, the lady wishes Preeta to have her happy life and Kundali as this can be seen from her face, Arjun seeing Preeta from the balcony thinks she murdered her own husband but then has another one by her side who is like her bodyguard. Shankar asks Rishab is he is still angry with him but Rishab assures that he doesnot feel bad since this is just business, he however has a complicated relation with Arjun, Shekar replies that his relation with Arjun is a little complicated as they both keep fighting but donot reveal the truth, Rishab doesnot understand when Shekar explains even he and his cousin brother keep fighting but still they love each other.
The ritual starts when they inform the Katha as without it the Varth is incomplete, she decides to inform the Katha of Karwa Mata, she starts explaining that the husband of Karwa Mata was taking a bath in the river when a crocodile caught her but then Mata Rani tied it with a ribbon, she then called Yamraj but he refused to help her so she was about to curse Yamarj who then send the crocodile away, providing the husband of Karwa Mata life, she explains this is why they keep the varth just as karwa Mata did for her husband. She reveals the Sindoor and Mangal Sutur of a wife has immense power to even fight with Yamraj, Arjun thinks even the Sindoor has a lot of power to send her husband to Yamraj.
The lady instructs them all to touch the Thali with their heads after which they would start the ritual, Rishab and Shekar are witnessing the ritual as Mata Sahab also completes it, asking them all to place the Thali before instructing all the grooms to come and take the blessings of Mata Rani together, she also calls Rishab who accompanies Preeta. Arjun is not able to see them both together as a couple, Arjun gets furious when Preeta takes the blessings before leaving with Rishab.
Arjun steps down the stairs, Preeta is wearing the footwear when they both come face to face, they are not able to take their eyes off each other when suddenly the flowers fall over them which stuns Rishab, Preeta also feels irritated with what is happening. Arjun looking up sees the worker who apologizes explaining he lost his balance. Preeta walks away so Arjun leaves to return to his room.
Arjun in anger theows the mobile on the bed, he is irritated wondering what the lady said that Preeta has a husband and would remain a couple like this forever. Arjun is not able to control his emotions so starts walking in the room, he scolds the person on the call but realizes it is Anjali so apologizes to her asking how she is, she in turn asks him to mention she can come to his help but he assures he doesnot need the help of anyone. Arjun explains Preeta is in front of his eyes, Anjali replies she is just in his thought, but he says she came with Rishab. Arjun mentions he never thought Preeta always wished for him to die as today he heard the Katha and she was never his well-wisher, Anjali requests him to calm down but he replies she can not ask him to calm down as now the war has started. Arjun thinks Rishab had always seen his childish behavior but today would see his anger since he will never let Preeta be his partner.
Preeta walking up the stairs wonders why does she keep seeing arjun wherever she goes, she thinks he would be doing it on purpose but then he once again comes in front of her, they both turn in the opposite direction after a while, Preeta tries to run from the corner however her saree gets stuck in his watch, Preeta thinks how it would happen with karan, she starts getting the same feeling and they both are about to get in an argument but Arjun apologizes noticing it got stuck.
Preeta stops him from touching it explaining this saree is really important for her and she doesnot know what she would do to him, she mentions it is better if he gives her the watch as she will send it back with a worker, he manages to take it out without causing a tear, Preeta questions why does he keep following her wherever she goes, is there nothing else left in his life. Arjun replies she is right as there is indeed nothing left in his life, he leaves while Preeta gets worried wondering how she stole everything from Arjun.
