Arohi notices Akshara standing in tears and asks if she is okay. She wonders if Abhimanyu said something to her. Before Akshara can answer, Kairav and Reem take her away. Arohi is left worried, trying to understand what has happened. Manjiri defends Akshara and blames Abhimanyu for everything. She says Akshara wanted to tell him the truth, and it would not have reached this point if he had listened. She recalls the musical department inauguration and says she knew Akshara was disturbed the moment she hugged her. Manjiri says Akshara hid the truth because she was scared of Abhimanyu’s reaction. Abhimanyu replies that Akshara broke his trust. Even then, Manjiri continues to stand by Akshara. Abhimanyu finally decides to call off the wedding.
While Shefali, Nishtha, Parth, and Neel praise Akshara, she keeps waiting for Abhimanyu. Manjiri asks him one last time if ending the wedding is really his final decision. She decides to apologize to the Goenkas herself and call off the marriage. Abhimanyu says Arohi deserves to be punished.
At the Goenka house, everyone is shocked when the police arrive. Akshara immediately thinks Abhimanyu has sent them to arrest Arohi. Manish asks the inspector why they are there. Harsh, Mahima, and Anand arrive and explain that the police have come for both Akshara and Arohi. Harsh reveals the truth about Manjiri’s accident and says the girls are being arrested for a hit-and-run case.
The Goenkas question Akshara and Arohi, but both stay silent. Suhasini becomes anxious. Akshara finally admits that Harsh is telling the truth. Manish loses his temper because they hid such a big secret. Kairav and Akhilesh also accuse them. Harsh says they must be punished, while Mahima and Anand refuse to listen to Akshara’s explanation. The Goenkas request the Birlas to let the girls speak, but Mahima and Harsh call off the wedding, and Anand supports their decision.
Mahima tells the inspector to arrest both girls. Just then, Manjiri arrives, and Akshara immediately apologizes to her. Harsh asks who was driving the car that day. Akshara takes all the blame on herself. Mahima says the guilty person must be punished so everyone learns that no one can escape after a hit-and-run. She also says Arohi’s driving licence should be cancelled. Arohi breaks down and apologizes. Harsh orders the inspector to arrest Akshara.
As Akshara almost falls, Abhimanyu catches her just in time. She is happy to see him. Abhimanyu asks Harsh if he is trying to take advantage of his absence and questions whether he even knows the full truth. Harsh says he knows enough. Abhimanyu tells the police that they do not want to file any case. Akshara and Arohi thank him, but Abhimanyu tells Arohi to keep her thanks because only Akshara matters to him. Harsh accuses Abhimanyu of choosing Akshara over Manjiri, but Abhimanyu gets angry.
Manjiri signals him to stay calm before announcing that she also does not want to file any case. Anand and Mahima argue that Abhimanyu can forgive the girls personally, but what about morality? Abhimanyu continues to defend Akshara. Harsh gets furious and says he is ignoring Manjiri, but Abhimanyu reminds him that he never cared about Manjiri before. Harsh is left speechless.
Abhimanyu then turns to Arohi and lashes out at her for always using and manipulating Akshara. He also criticizes the Goenkas for always choosing Arohi over Akshara. He says Arohi keeps making Akshara feel guilty by using Sirat’s name. Arohi cries and apologizes to Manjiri and the Goenkas. Harsh again gets angry at Abhimanyu for supporting Akshara. Abhimanyu finally reveals that Arohi was the one driving the car. Everyone is shocked. He also reveals that Akshara lied by confessing that she was driving.
Abhimanyu then puts forward one condition for the wedding. He tells Akshara to choose between him and Arohi because he does not want Arohi to be a part of their married life. Akshara is left stunned. Abhimanyu says he will wait outside until she makes her decision. He knows it will be difficult for her, but says she has no choice. As he waits outside, he remembers his moments with Akshara and becomes emotional.
The Goenkas believe Akshara will not be able to make such a difficult choice. The Birlas are sure she will never leave Arohi. Anand and Mahima complain that she is taking too long to decide. Harsh says Arohi will always come first for Akshara, while Abhimanyu will always put Akshara first.
Kairav tries to calm Akshara down. She breaks down and says both Abhimanyu and Arohi are equally important to her. Manish supports Abhimanyu and tells Akshara to do what is right because Arohi is guilty. He scolds Arohi for always taking advantage of Akshara’s kindness. Manish, along with the rest of the Goenkas, encourages Akshara to choose Abhimanyu. Elsewhere, Neel and Parth tell Abhimanyu that his condition is too harsh, but he says Akshara has to make a choice.
