The rules of love 20 may 2024: Maitree asks Jhumki to show her room. Jhumki agrees. Jhumki takes Maitree to her room and tells her that this is her room for 2 days. Maitree in disguise accepted. Jhumki goes from there. Maitree closed doors and windows. Maitree took Rudraksha out of her suitcase.
Jhumki suspects Shivay in disguise and decides to find out the truth. Maitree thinks that Rudraksh and the Sacred Ash should be placed on Harsh’s forehead as soon as possible to help him get out of Jhumki’s trance. Maitree felt uncomfortable and tried to take off her wig. Jhumki entered Maitree’s room in her snake form. Maitree notices Jhumki in snake form and screams in fear. The snake left the room.
Jhumki takes on his human form. Maitree comes out of the room and sees Jhumki. Maitree in disguise asks Jhumki to call the snake catcher. Jhumki handled the situation and left. Maitree thinks she needs to be more careful.
After that, Maitree thinks that Jhumki won’t leave Harsh alone. She listens to music and leaves. She sees Jhumki dancing with Harsh and turns Harsh into her Nagaraj. Maitree thinks something must be done before Jhumki rips her husband apart by doing Naag. Jhumki feels someone is watching them. Maitree saw that Jhumki was paying attention in all directions. Master entered.
Maitree couldn’t sleep. She walks out and sees Jhumki walking into the shop to exfoliate. Maitree thinks this is the right time for her to place the sacred Rudraksha on Harsh’s forehead and enter his room. Jhumki came out of the store with a new look. Maitree was about to place Sacred Rudraksha on Harsh but she hid when she heard the door. Jhumki hugs Harsh and tells him that he will soon become Nagraj.
Maitree plays Naagin, causing Jhumki to change direction. Jhumki couldn’t control himself and walked out of Harsh’s room. Maitree comes in front of Jhumki and challenges Jhumki to stop her from bringing Harsh out of her trance if she can. Maitree reveals to Jhumki that she entered the house as Shivai. She tells Jhumki that she cannot stop her from seeing her husband. She will meet Harsh. Jhumki decides to end Maitree’s chapter. Maitree notices that she has lost Rudraksha.
Maitree notices Rudraksha is missing. Jhumki believes that this is the last day for Maitree’s family. Maitree promises Harsh, who is sleeping, that she will save him from Jhumki. She considers where she misplaced Rudraksha. She realises she has misplaced it while changing her clothing. Jhumki plans to kill Nandini first in order to teach Maitree a lesson. Jhumki is approached by Nandini. Jhumki informs Nandini that she is dying as a result of Maitree. Nandini smiles and tells Jhumki that her hypnosis had no effect on her. Jhumki is taken aback. Nandini makes fun of Jhumki.
Nandini tells Jhumki that she and Maitree will meet their end because she has already fallen into Maitree’s trap. Jhumki chuckles to herself and tells Nandini that she still has influence over her family and Harsh.
Jhumki instructs Nandu to simply observe what she is about to accomplish. Jhumki dials the Tiwari family number. Jhumki transforms into a snake to bite Swayam. Nandini mocks Jhumki. Jhumki regains her human form. Jhumki wonders if Nandini has gone insane and why she is laughing. Nandini makes fun of Jhumki. Jhumki inquires of Nandini as to what she done. Nandini claims that when she summoned the entire Tiwari family, Maitree fully unhypnotized Harsh. Jhumki vows she will never let that happen.
Maitree tells Harsh, who is asleep, that she remembered where the Rudraksha is and that she will collect it and free Harsh from Jhumki’s hypnosis.
Jhumki enters Harsh’s room and notices Maitree. Jhumki requests that Maitree keep away from her spouse. Harsh is Maitree’s husband, she tells Jhumki. Jhumki suggests to Maitree that they find out what Harsh has to say about it. Harsh is awakened by Jhumki. Harsh wonders what Maitree is doing here. Maitree tries to explain to Harsh that she, like the rest of the family, is hypnotised. Harsh ignores Maitree and drags her down the hall, pushing her into the floor.
Jhumki stands in front of the Tiwari family, telling them that Maitree tried to kill her. The Tiwari family makes the decision to kick Maitree out of the house. Nandini stops Harsh from evicting Maitree and tells her that they should let her stay in the house and punish her. Nandini tells Harsh that Maitree should face their rage and be humiliated on a daily basis. Harsh accepts and lets Maitree remain at the house.
Jhumki compliments Maitree, who has turned the tables on her due to her error. Jhumki believes she needs to totally hypnotise the Tiwari family again, but she must wait till her hypnosis fades gradually. Jhumki resolves to wait for it and ensure that Maitree does not act at this time.
Nandini apologises to Maitree for scolding her in front of Jhumki. Maitree tells Nandini not to worry because she is in this mansion due of her. Nandini learns about what transpired in Maitree’s chamber from Maitree. Nandini apologises to Maitree for sending Jhumki to her room as Jhumki was about to bite Swayam. Maitree claims she did the right thing and tells Nandini not to worry. Maitree and Nandini resolve to make Jhumki unconscious in order to break the Tiwari family’s hypnosis. Nandini suggests a solution to Maitree.

Jhumki made a complaint to Harsh about Maitree. Harsh confronts Maitree in rage. Jhumki grins. Family members arrive to assist Jhumki while she is hypnotised. Harsh requests that Maitree leave the residence. Maitree is on her way out the door, crying. Nandini comes to a halt in front of Maitree.
Nandini claims it was her error to trust Maitree and that it is best to get Maitree out of the house. Nandini requests that Maitree give her one last goodbye handshake. Maitree extends her hand. Nandini stealthily hands over Rudraksha to Maitree. Maitree recognises Nandini’s intentions and attempts, but fails, to place Rudraksha on Harsh’s forehead without Jhumki’s awareness. Maitree blossoms.
Jhumki decides to murder Maitree in the room. She emerges from the house in the guise of a snake. Maitree believes Nageshwar Baba will lead her in the right direction. She begins to walk to his house. Three snakes encircle Maitree on the journey. Maitree is terrified and begs Mahadev to save her. She flees but fails to notice the large pit. Jhumki informs Maitree that she must die. Maitree is bitten by Jhumki. Maitree is thrown into a deep pit. Harsh screams Maitree’s name as he wakes up. Jhumki smiles as he sees Maitree’s condition and declares that no one can save Maitree.
Jhumki uses a crane to bury Maitree in the mud. Jhumki later goes home and observes Harsh tense. Jhumki inquires of Harsh as to what transpired.Harsh says he has a bad feeling about something. They come out when they hear the summoning ring.
Nandini pushes open the door. She notices Dinesh in tears and inquires as to what happened. Dinesh informs everyone that Maitree has died and that her body has been discovered in a large pit. Nandini sobs while clutching Maitree’s saree, saying it can’t be true. Dinesh drops on the floor and declares, “It’s true.” He requests that Harsh perform Maitree’s last rites.
Harsh declines. Jhumki believes that no one will ever discover that she was responsible for Maitree’s death. Dinesh departs. Everyone retires to their respective rooms. Jhumki informs Nandini that she will be able to attend Maitree’s final rites. She encourages Nandini not to attack her because Maitree is no longer alive. Nandini walks away.
Jhumki sets fire to Maitree’s things. She believes a new story will begin. Nandini later returns home with Maitree’s cremains. Jhumki tells Nandini that she murdered Maitree and pleads for her support if she wants to live.
