Reach for the Stars 14 April 2020: Kamla prays for everyone and for her two daughters. She says Paki is here I must call her she would ask Raghave about kalpi. I know God is with her but I am a mom I care. She calls Kamla. Kamla asks I couldn’t talk to Kalpi.
Can you call Raghav and ask if they are okay. Paki says I was about to call you. Actually Raghav and Kalpi are missing since last night. They haven’t arrived at the hotel. Sammy has informed the police but there is no progress. The phone slips off Kamla’s hand. She sits in tears. Vitthal comes and asks her whats wrong ? Did you talk to Kalpi. Kamla says it was Paki she said they are both missing. Vitthal is in shock.
Scene 2
Sun is up there. Raghav is on ground and Kalpi is lying on his as she tried to cover it last night from rain. Raghav opens his eyes and moves a little. Kalpi wakes up too and gets up. Raghav is trying to sit he screams with pain and sits on the other side. Kalpi looks at him. Raghav is still in pain. He looks at Kalpi and gives her stole back to her. Kalpi breaks the ice and says are you okay sir ? I am sorry. He says thank you. Kalpi sees some people coming towards them.Its the same man who helped her last night. He has brought a doctor with him. He says to Raghav that you are safe because of this girl. Heaven knows how she saved you in the rain from those leeches. The doctor is giving Raghav treatment. He has given Raghav injection. Raghav says please give me antibiotics.
Kalpo recalls Paki telling her that he is scared of injections. Kalpi says sir please take the injection. If you have any problem in front of me then I am leaving. Kalpi stands on the other side. She feels fresh. Raghav is staring her doctor gives him the injection. Doctor says we are done with the injection and you didn’t even feel it. Raghav wonders was he so immersed in looking at Kalpi that he couldn’t feel the injection.
How is that possible. Whats wrong with me ? Some kids come and give Kalpi flowers. One of them says wear the flower on your ear you are beautiful, it will suit you. Kalpi says you all talk so sweet. She gives all of them a flower. Raghav smiles looking at Kalpi kissing one of the kid. He wonders why am I staring at her. Raghav says are you done with your socializing we are already hours late because of you. Come on now. Kalpi says sir you aren’t okay. Doctor says you need rest. He says I am used to of pain just tell me the way out. Doctor says you need these bruises to be covered. The old man covers his back with a shawl. Kalpi helps him. Raghav says thanks to doctor. Two men help him in going out. Kalpi says I have to call Ai, she must be worried about me.
Scene 3
Kamla prays along with mummy ji and Paki for Kalpi and Raghav. Paki says don’t be worried police is looking for them. Mummy ji says everything will be okay. Paki says I wanna go with you. Kamla says look at your foot you can’t come with us. Paki says lets all go together in my car. We will reach earlier. Sahil calls Paki and asks her where is she ? SHe says I am at Kamla maa’s house. He says I asked you not to leave the house. Come to the house. Kamla says he is right you should go home me and Vitthal are going to find them.
Scene 4
Inspector has come to know something. He tells Sammy that some villagers have found a wounded couple in the forest. He asks Maya to stay there. Maya says no I will come along you.There Vitthal and Kamla are leaving as well. Manda stops them and starts her taunts.Paki is so worried about them. Mummy ji and Pakiya tries to console her.
Scene 5
Raghav says I can walk alone I don’t need any support. He starts walking and trips a little. Kalpi holds him he says I can manage. This is disappointing to Kalpi. Police along with SAmmy and Maya have arrived at the forest. Kalpi shows Raghav Sammy and Maya. He says I have eyes I can see. Sammy and Maya come to them. Sammy hugs Raghav. Maya asks where were you guys. Raghav says you figured that we are here ? Sammy says we contacted the police. They started search operation. The gangsters have been arrested. Sammy says you need a good doctor. Kalpi says we got a doctor already. Sammy says you should get some injection. Kalpana says you know he has had the injection as well. Sammy says oh really how ? Is the doctor still okay ? Maya giggles and so does kalpi. Raghav says lets go
Sammy, Maya, Raghva and Kalpi are on their way back to home. Raghav recalls how Kalpi helped him out and he woke up in his lap. Sammy calls Paki and tells her that they have found them. Paki stops Kamla and Vitthal from going to Ali Bagh. Sammy gives phone to Kalpana and she talks to Kamla. She is in tears. She says we went through a lot ai but I am fine now. I will be back once we get done with our project. Raghav asks for the phone. He says Kamla bai this is Raghav. Your daughter is perfectly fine and I promise you that she will be back to home till night. Do you trust me ? Kamla says yes more than anyone. Thank you baba. I talked to you that;s enough for me. Tell Kalpi that I am fine. He says you should tell her your self. Kamla talks to Kalpi and says just take care. We love you so much. Paki comes down stairs. She says maybe I should go they need me. Kamla says no you should go home and rest. Kalpi will be back by tonight. I will let you know once she comes back. Mummy ji takes her home.
Kamal thanks her God for saving Kalpi. Some kids come to Pinki and asks her aren’t you coming with us today ? Its the result day. We have got a lot of marks. My dad said he will get me a bicycle. Pinki says let me go my madam is so strict. This breaks Kamla’s heart. She goes to Kanta asks did you hear what they say ? Kanta says I know what’s better for her.
Scene 2
Kanta is in her house. She says I can’t be weak. Pinki comes in and says my slipper is broken I need another one. Kamla comes in and says Pinki is just like my Kalpi. Her thirst for education shows me that she will be successful one day. Kanta says I know I love her but how can we send her school. Where will i bring the fess from ? Kamla says Pinki will give it herself. You know whats in my hand Pinki’s report card. Today your daughter has topped the exams. Teacher has said that she will get a scholarship. School will pay for her expenditures. Kanta says but sending a girl alone is another tension. Kamla says a bus from government now picks kid. Look in her eyes they hold dreams. Kanta and Lakshman thanks her for letting them know.
Scene 3
Raghav is in his room. Maya gives him coffee. She says Raghav are you sure you can discuss about project in this condition ? Raghav says time is money I can’t waste it anymore. Tell me what are your plans ? She says the plot you have bought is surrounded by marshy land and the villagers are not interested in negotiating. Raghav is busy in thinking about how Kalpana saved him from leeches and covered him whole night. Held him when he tripped. Maya sits behind him holding his shoulders. He holds her hands. Maya asks why are you so distracted ? Did Kalpana say something ? Suddenly Kalpana opens the door and shuts it immediately looking at them in this condition.
Raghav goes out and stops her. He says are these your manner entering without knocking ? Kalpana says you fixed the meeting. He said so won’t you knock ? She says I am sorry sir. He says you should be. Kalpi says i have apologized already. Raghav turns his back towards her and says don’t know why I brought you here. What else you got me other than problems. The project is delayed. Sammy comes and says relax Raghav. He asks Kalpi to go in his room. Kalpi says wait Sammy sir. Kalpi says if I bother you then I will resign I said that last night.
I asked for 30 days I challenged you that I will get the promotion letter. How will you promote me when you hate me. Whatever I do you will keep hating me, I won’t bother you anymore. I resign right here right now. Raghav leaves. He turns back and looks at her then enters his room. Sammy asks Kalpi what happened ? Kalpi says I just don’t want this job. Sammy says we can sort it out. Don’t get Raghav wrong. Opportunities like thesen don’t come every day. Can you agree to coming to Mumbai with us ? We will solve all your issues there ? Kalpi says what should I tell him. I am able to accept the challenge only if Raghav challenges me.
Kalpi says 2:10 I will get the bus and reach home by tonight. A car comes and stops by her, Raghav is in there and Maya too. Sammy says hey Kalpana come along us. Kalpi says I can go by my own. Sammy says we came here together so we have to go back together. Kalpi is reluctant. Raghav says Miss Yadav get in to the car. They start heading, towards Mumbai. Raghav looks at Kalpi from mirror. They reach Kalpi’s chowl. She says bye Sammy sir and waves Kalpana . Raghav turns on the other side. She wonders why he acts like this. She recalls the way he insulted her.
Scene 2
Vitthal and Kamla are desperately waiting for Kalpi. She comes in all three of them are so happy to see her. Kama hugs her and so does Vitthal. Kamla and Vitthal ask about the cut on her neck. Kalpi says I am perfectly fine. Vitthal says your AI couldn’t sleep whole night. Kamla says lets have the dinner. Kalpi says no I am not in mood. She agrees and Kamla starts getting the dinner ready.
