My desire 8 January 2024: Romila takes Mahima’s bridal dress to Mahima’s room. Mahima asks her to speak slowly as she is feeling headache. Romila asks if she has lightheadness due to last night’s alcohol or due to tiredness from jaago ritual. Mahima nervously says jaago ritual. Kashvi walks in and asks her to try her bridal lehanga. She makes her stand in front of mirror and tries lehanga on her. Arjun peeps in and thinks Kashvi is showing Mahima’s face via mirror. Mahima frowns and says she will not wear such a tacky lehanga.
Kashvi turns her face around to not let Arjun see her frowning face. Arjun leaves disappointed. Mahima asks who wears such a tacky lehanga, Arjun’s family should have taken her opinion at least. She throws lehanga away. Kashvi confronts her for throwing the lehanga away instead of accepting the shagun and walks away.
Romila brainwashes Mahima that Arjun is unfit for her as he is poor and jobless yet and can’t fulfill her wishes. She blames Nayan for getting her forcefully married to Arjun as Nitya is her friend. She says she deserves a rich brat like Pradyuman who can fulfill all her wishes. Mahima falls for her trick and thinks chachi is right. Kashvi prepares laddus feeling sad. Arjun walks to her and helps her. Nayan walks to him and says he doesn’t have to do this. Arjun says he is like her son and wants to help her. Nayan says he is her good son. Arjun says if the laddus are prepared soon, he can marry Mahima soon and be with her. He says he will also learn these rituals to perform them during Kashvi’s mariage.
Kashvi feels sad. Nayan takes her aside and says though she loves Arjun, Arjun is marrying Mahima and hence she should stay away from her. Kashvi nods yes. Nayan says Kashvi will get what is written in her fate, usually they don’t get the person they love and should have to compromise with the fate.
Sam walks in and greets everyone. Romila asks if he came here by mistake like yesterday. Daadi says she invited him as he wants to participate in all the rituals. Sam says he had been out of India since long and hence wants to watch each ritgual.
Daadi says he is most welcome and says he has to help them in wedding arrangements. Sam says he will if someone teaches him. Nitya teaches him prepare laddus. Nayan feels anxious.
Mahima thinks Romila is right that she should marry rich Pradyuman and lead a queen’s life and not poor Arjun and lead a maid’s life. She hears someone knocking window and opens it. Pradyuman asks her to let him in. Mahima thinks she will force him to tell that Arjun is unfit for him and she should marry him instead. Jeweler visits Nayan’s house to deliver jewelry. Kashvi offers him water. Jeweler notices diamond ring in her pallu and asks where did she buy this diamond ring from, its not from his shop. Kashvi says its a fake ring gifted by Mahima’s friend to Mahima. Jeweler checks and says its a very costly ring worth 70-80 lakhs at least. Kashvi is shocked and thinks she should question Mahima.
Pradyuman informs Mahima that he is going to London as Sam threatened to inform his father if he doesn’t leave Mahima. Mahima starts her emotional blackmail saying she loves him immensely and can leave the world for him, but he is leaving her under Sam’s pressure, etc. Pradyuman falls for her crocodile tears, expresses his love for her, and asks if she will elope with him. She agrees and kisses him. Kashvi enters and is shocked to see that.
