My desire 23 December 2022: Preesha walks to Arman. Arman asks if Anvi slept. She says and apologizes for whatever happened, she should have informed about her past and she is feeling guilty. He holds her hand, takes her outside door and says he will forgive her if she brings back his sister, she is here only for Anvi and will be only Anvi’s mother here, he cannot snatch a mother from a daughter, there is not even a friendship relationship between between, and shuts door on her face. Sharda and Sulochana eagerly waits for Rudra. Rudra returns home. Sharda tells him that he need not feel guilty as he didn’t do anything wrong. She asks why was he with Preesha for 2 days. He breaks down. Sulochana whatever they are asking is for his good.
Sharda says he need not suffer as his mothers are with him. He says only wrong is happening in his life, earlier Preesha and then Saransh left him, then Preesha suddenly reappeared again, then he saw Mishka and describes the rest of the incident, and says he hoped that Saransh will return back but he didn’t.Arman feels guilty that he couldn’t save Devika. Preesha feels guilty that Devika lost her life because of her hiding truth. Rudra cries looking at Devika and his pics and apologizes Devika thinking he wanted to cancel this wedding but not in this way. Hamari Adhuri Kahani..song plays in the background.
Next morning, Preesha serves breakfast to Arman and Chachaji, but they reject it.Inspector walks in. They asks if everything is alright. Inspector says he needs to inform them and asks to call Rudra and his family here. Chachaji asks what is the problem. Inspector says he will speak only in front of everyone and says he will go there if they don’t call Rudra’s family here. Arman calls Rudra. Rudra gets worried for Preesha. Arman says its not personal call and asks to come as inspector has come. Rudra informs his mothers and walks to Arman’s house. Inspector tells Arman that his sister’s forensic report has come and its revealed that Devika didn’t commit suicide but was murdered. Arman is shocked and asks what is he saying. Inspector says forensic team found an injury behind Devika’s neck and after investigation found out that Devika’s neck was broken by someone.
Everyone’s face is focused in shock. Inspector says someone killed Devika by breaking her neck and then hanged her to divert attention. Chachaji blames Rudra. Sulochana yells if he is mad to blame Rudra and tells inspector that Rudra was always down and never went up since they brought baraat here. Sharda backs her. Sulochana yells that Chachaji’s family member must have killed Devika and he is blaming his sins on them. Chachaji reacts, and their argument starts. Inspector stops them and frees Rudra from all the charges and says someone present during the wedding must have murdered her. Sulochana yells that her son is innocent.
Inspector says he is free from abetting to murder charges but not murder charges as they found a person’s skin fragments in Devika’s finger while trying to fight back, so they all should give their DNA sample to forensic team.Vasu calls Preesha and gets tensed when she doesn’t pick call. GPS says Preesha must be tensed. Vasu says she is more tensed and calls Anvi who informs that police have come and she is worried. Vasu informs same to GPS and they head to Arman’s house. Forensic team takes everyone’s blood sample. Vasu and GPS reach there. Inspector asks who are they. Arman says they are Preesha’s parents. Inspector asks if they were present during wedding, even their DNA sample should be taken.
Vasu asks why their sample. Arman says he will inform them later. Inspector asks him if he has CCTV cameras installed in his house, he needs footage and leaves with his team. Arman says he can’t believe his sister is murdered. Preesha tries to console him. He pushes her hand and goes to his room. She follows him and says she knows he is alone, but she is with him. He pushes her hand again. She says she is sharing the pain. He asks to stop her drama as she is responsible for all this, they are not husband and wife for this drama. She asks not to say that. He says if she had stopped Devika from getting emotional with Rudra and informed us beforehand, Devika should have been alive, so shouldn’t act as innocent. Rudra enters and shouts at Arman.
Arman confronts Preesha that Devika would have been alive if she had informed the truth to Devika, so she should stop the drama of acting innocent. Rudra shouts at him to stop and says Preesha and him are innocent and as per police, Devika was murdered. Arman warns to dare not take his sister’s name from his dirty mouth and blames for Devika’s death. Rudra asks him to stop. Arman pushes him and continues blaming. Preesha tries to stop Aramn. Arman raises his hand and warns her to back off. Rudra holds his collar and shouts him to dare not misbehave with Preesha. Preesha silently watches that. Arman pushes him back and says he will blame them both. Preesha shouts at Arman to stop. Their fight starts and walk down.
Family holds them. Preesha tells Arman its wrong to blame Rudra without any proof and they should wait until police report comes. Chachaji asks if she is still supporting Rudra, then she should leave their house and stay in Rudra’s house. GPS says if they have problem, he will take Preesha home. Anvi pleads Preesha not to leave her alone. Preesha remembering Saransh pleading similarly promises Anvi to stay with her and asks GPS and others to go home. They all walk away.
Rudra returns home with his mothers. Real estate agent calls him and asks why is he not staying in his rented flat. Rudra asks to rent it out to someone else. Agent asks him to return the keys today as he has another client. Rudra agrees to meet him. Anvi rolls her finger with Preesha’s sari pallu and says she will leave like Devika if she leaves her pallu. Preesha hugs and tells her that she will not go and thinks she is in this house only for her. Rudra returns agent’s keys. Agent prays that his motto should be fulfilled. Rudra gets into car and is shocked to see Ahana and Mishka returning to their house. He follows them. They ask what is he doing here, if he is spying on them.
He asks what are they doing here while they were going to London. Ahana asks him to keep quiet as her daughter Krishna is most important to her and due to her ill health, doc asked her to postpone the trip. Rudra walks away. Mishka locks door and asks what is Rudra’s problem that he returned after explaining so much, good that Amana made an excuse or else they would have been badly caught. Ahana reminisces her lawyer informing that he couldn’t complete her task and hence she has to stay in India for some more time. She and Mishka scold him to finish his task as they paid him 10 times more than his fees. Out of flashback, they decide to finish the task soon before Rudra gets suspicious again.
Rudra visits Arman’s house. Anvi hugs him and says she missed him. He says he missed her too and tells Preesha that he had some stuff left, so he came to return it. Chachaji noticing him shouts how dare he is to come back here. Arman joins him. Inspector with team walks in. Arman asks if he found any clue. Inspector reveals that one among his family members’ DNA sample matched with the skin debris found in Devika’s nails. Chachaji asks who is it. Inspector reveals its Preesha. Preesha shocked says Devika was like her sister, why will she kill her, inspector must have mistaken and should take her DNA sample again. Chachaji asks how can she kill Devika who trusted her blindly, she stayed with them since so many months and betrayed them.
Devika says she didn’t kill Devika. Chachaji says she did. Rudra shouts not to allege Preesha or else he will not keep quiet. Chachaji says he is standing in his house and threatening him. Rudra says Preesha stayed with them for long and he considered her as his house’s Laxmi, then how can he allege her; he asks Arman if he thinks Preesha is a murderer. Inspector asks Preesha to show her hands. Preesha shows her hand and everyone are shocked to see scratches on her hands. Inspector says Devika gave her these scratches when she was killing Devika and Devika was trying to save herself. Arman says Preesha was down with them, then how could have she met Devika. Preesha says she met Devika and console her.
He asks why did she go even after his warning. She says she couldn’t see Devika in pain and went to console her, Devika was hurt as she immensely loves Rudra. She goes into flashback where she goes to Devika’s room and tries to console her. Devika scratches her hands in anger and asks her to leave. She slaps Devika and says she didn’t want to hurt her, so hid truth and promises to set everything right and get her married to Rudra. Devika says she doesn’t want to marry Rudra. Preesha says if she loves Rudra, she should marry him. Devika says she cannot have a marriage of compromise and will imagine Preesha and Rudra together always, so its better not to marry Rudra. Preesha says she respects her decision.
Devika asks water. Preesha goes out to bring water and when she return she finds Devika hanging to a ceiling fan.
