Married Again 16 June 2022: Prashant swearing that he has had enough of loneliness and he wont bear it anymore and the conscious effort towards that would start from today itself.Arti gives him water. She apologizes for causing all the trouble. she asks him to drink and stabilizes himself first. He asks if there is no one else. when she says yes, that others have gone to the temple and yash os out for an important meeting, he thinks that this is the right time to bare his heart out to her.
Location: At the temple
After completing their prayers, gayatri has an idea and she calls vidhi and Bhavani and discusses with them a prank to pull on their spouses, much to buaji’s displeasure. They stand next to the well, and when their husbands call out to them, they ignore. First pankaj and then prateik too come to take vidhi and Bhavani but they refuse to go and instead pretend to be upset so much so that they want ot end their lives by jumping into the pond. Finally when they ask what’s wrong, the ladies tell them that they need to promise that pankaj wont force their kids to become what he wants them to, rather he would let them be what they want to become.
Bhavani too takes a promise that they would begin an new life forgetting the past and prateik forgiving every mistake of hers in the past. He says he always does that, but still Bhavani makes him promise that. He too takes a promise from Bhavani that she would love him all the more from now onwards. she too agrees. Finally gayatri too calls on suraj and asks him to promise that he would forever in all their births together, ensure that they always have a prosperous family like this. Suraj willingly agrees. happily they finally proceed home.
Scene 4:
Location: Yash’s house
while prashant is waiting for yash to come, he says that he can leave if he is making arti uncomfortable. When she doesn’t respond, he says that they can at least be friends. arti fires up saying that she wants to make it very clear that she doesn’t like him around her as nobody in the family knows of his existence and she cant risk her well settled life for him. She says that she didn’t want to hide but she is helpless because of his transplant as she is not sure of her afmily’s reaction on knowing the truth and he cant put his treatment to jeopardy because of that.
She is always wondering what if they know. He says to have this faith on her that he wouldn’t let anyone know. She reminds him of the numerous close calls they had of their gig being up, first his watch that was left in the car when yash innocently covered up for her, then ansh’s photo in the wallet. She says that she cant hide it much longer and very soon the truth would come out.Despite him trying to calm her down, she is very upset. He tries to hold her hand, but she jerks away saying that there’s nothing left between them and no feelings whatsoever. and she can still understand but her family wont and therefore pleads him to stay away from her, her family, ansh and yash. prashant gets his cough bouts again. Due to the stress, she too starts feeling heavy and nauseous.
Nevertheless, she goes inside to get him water. Once she gives him water, and he is busy drinking, she loses control on herself and is dizzy. prashant notices her and stops her from falling and gently helps her to lie on the bed.He gives her some water and she drinks it unable to resist. She murmers to him that she has a low BP and the medicines are in the dressing drawer of her room. he rushes to her room to get the medicines. he finds them and is about to rush out when he notices her photos with yash. it pains him to see her with yash.
But regaining himself, he rushes out to arti. while he is prepping the medicines for her, he wonders if she had anything to eat since medicines cant be given on an empty stomach. She tells him not to bother unnecessarily and just give the medicines. But prashant in a possessive manner runs towards the kitchen to come back with two apples for her. he peels one and tries to get her to eat before she can take her meds, all the while reprimanding her for handling 4 kids and not taking care of herself only and that he wont allow her to behave like this, then realizing that he doesn’t have the right anymore to talk to her like this. He softens down and urges her to eat so that she’s able to take meds. she reluctantly takes an apple and then takes her medicines and dozes off. While she’s sleeping, prashant says that she doesn’t need to feel alone or worry as he’s right there beside her all the time.
She wakes up after some time and seeing prashant is surprised. Then gets up startled as to why did he let her sleep so late. She is worried that her family and yash too might be coming home soon. Just then, they hear a car honking. She is tensed at the situation that would be now.Outside while prashant is trying to sneak out, he collides into prateik who was just coming in. But before, he can recognize prashant he flees from there. prateik concerned goes inside the house and asks if anybody came. while others are puzzled, arti is scared. they then think that arti must be knowing if anybody came to visit. But then assume that if it was anybody known he wouldn’t have snuck out like that.
Buaji shows to be extremely horrified at the thought of thief in the house and as usual reprimands arti for being so careless. Suraj stops her and pankaj too asks her not to worry since they have the CCTV footage of the main gate to find out who it was. While everybody gets ready to check, arti is scared to death.They gather around the Player and see the footage, but to arti’s relief the footage does not show prashant’s face clearly. Prateik comes and tells them that nothing seems to be stolen or tampered with. Yash comes in and asks what happened sensing the mood and prateik tells him everything.
Yash however recognizes the blue muffler of prashant but cant remember where he saw it. He gives up and suraj too tells everybody to relax since no harm has been done. They leave. Pankaj too asks prateik and yash to stop worrying and party about the fact that they won the case.While prateik and pankaj are drinking, they start talking about how arti weaved her miracle again today in the court by getting the girl who they didn’t even think could help the case. Prateik comments that arti is a great girl and that anybody in her company can fall in love with her. But yash being innocent, even after spending so much time has just managed to be good friends and not fallen in love with her.
He remembers their moments together in Mrs. Kiran’s flat in mumbai and says that she indeed is a great girl and that he is madly in love with her. Both prateik and pankaj are overjoyously surprised to hear him say that and are about to shout it out to the rest of the family, when yash stops them saying that he hasn’t yet told arti about it.Prateik asks him to say it to her. He says that he too has been thinking the same. yash says that he needs their help in planning out a surprise for her that she likes. prateik comments that girls like shopping, diamonds and holidays and anyone would please arti too. yash begs to differ saying that arti is different. both pankaj and prateik who are drunk now, start commenting on how behind all the love, all women are basically the same and would prefer shopping on the husband’s money rather than share a meal with them.
yash seeing that they are deviating from the topic, asks them to focus on the surprise and not scare him. Prateik tells him to have a beer as it’s a confidence booster and then once it kicks in, tells everything that he feels to arti.Finding Bhavani alone in the kitchen, she comes uprooted and askand and s if she could give her some advice. when she says yes, arti tells Bhavani again to tell prateik about that night, whenever she thinks it’s the right time or the right situation before he has to hear it from somebody else. Since if he does, he would be so hurt and she doesn’t want this truth to mar their marriage and the beautiful relationship that they share. Bhavani is as usual in a fix as to how to explain it to him.
Meanwhile, buaji hears their conversation from a distance. She thinks to herself, that what is this truth that arti is asking Bhavani to tell prateik that only arti knows and she doesn’t. She is determined to find out what’s brewing.When Pankaj offers yash another beer, yash declines it. He tells yash to go and tell arti what he feels for her. Prateik too convinces him that it’s the right time and that he’s in the right frame of mind to profess his love for her. while yash is time and again hesitant with doubts creeping in his mind about arti’s reaction, he leaves no option to his brothers but to force him out of the room so that he can go to arti. Yash finally musters up enough courage to start going toward their room.
Location: Yash’s house
Bhavani and arti are sitting in arti’s room while vidhi is commenting as to how arti has changed Yash’s outlook towards life and how he has become so concerned for arti and decorated this room for her. She asks arti what would be her reaction if right then yash walks in saying that he immensely loves her. Not getting the desired effect, she goes to the closet and pulls cash’s shirt out and wears it, she stands before and comically starts imitating yash as to how he would speak out his love for arti is hesitant.
Vidhi’s version of yash sends arti into slits of laughter. while she reaches the table to have a glass of water, she comments that vidhi took less than a minute to say her feelings aloud, but yash would t a year. Saying so, she turns around and is surprised to find yash standing in the doorway. Vidhi and Bhavani too notice him.Seeing yash in a drunk, romantic mood, Vidhi and Bhavani are amused whereas arti is confused and boggled. Yash says that he has something to say to arti. Vidhi takes Bhavani out of the room with the excuse of some work in the kitchen. When arti offers to come along with them to help, vidhi tells her that they would manage in the kitchen, she should control the situation here first as that’s more important.
Arti, looking at yash, smiles to herself in anticipation of what’s to come. as yash approaches her, she is shy and awkward as to how to react. He gets her to face him and then is about to say what he wants to but is interrupted by persistent hiccups. An exasperated artifice him some water. while he drinks, she reprimands him for drinking so much when he being such a health freak, knows about the ill effects of drinking. She turns her face away from him, unable to contain her laughter any longer.She gets busy arranging the pillows and the bedsheet while yash under the influence of alcohol is groggy and trying to compose himself sits on the sofa. seeing her busy with unnecessary stuff, he sarcastically tells her to change the curtains.
She gives him a taste of his own medicine when she agrees to it and begins changing the curtains. he stops her to ask if she doesn’t even think about anything beyond pillow covers, and bed sheets pretend to know what he’s talking about,ndcome close to him. While he closes his eyes, she makes a serious face and apologizes for leaving the wet towel on the sofa when she knows how much he hates that.Yash irritated now, takes the towel and deliberately keeps it on the sofa, messes everything on the bed. arti asks him that he loves order and decorum in the house, then why mess up now. He says that he used to love not anymore since he has changed and because of her. He again comes up to her but trips on the way and is about to fall but arti catches him mid-air.
Outside Yash’s room, Bhavani and vidhi are trying to listen to what’s happening inside. they are confronted by their husbands who jokingly reprimand them for eavesdropping on yash and arti. Vidhi says it’s because arti and yash have a unique love story, as they were parents first to each other’s kids, then became friends and finally lovers. Their spouses ask them to concentrate on their own love stories and while prateik takes Bhavani away, vidhi goes with Pankaj.Inside the room, arti makes him lie on the bed. He says that what he has been trying to say is that…while arti waits in anticipation to hear the golden words, yash says that he loves how she manages their room so nicely and makes it look so beautiful.
Resigning herself to Yash’s hesitation, she gets up but yash tells her to sit again and says that what he was trying to say was…again arti’s anticipation build-up, but he says that he loves the way she takes care of everybody in the family and that she is the best mom his kids could get.Frustrated now, but not showing it on their face, she asks him to doze off. While he closes his eyes, she takes off his shoes and pulls the sheet on him, and is about to go, when yash holds her hand and makes her lie on top of him in mid-sleep, and says that he thanks her for coming into his life. Arti is very happy to hear that and thinks to herself that what he couldn’t express in words, his heart said it all. She wishes that this moment never ends and becomes the rest of her life.
Location: Yash’s house
The next morning, ansh gathers everybody in the drawing-room and tells them about the latest acting reality show for kids, starting on zeetv, and tells arti that since the first audition is in their city, Bhopal he would take part in it and she would have to help him out. Everybody is excited to hear about this show and Aarti assures ansh that she would help him to get through the audition and get selected.
Location: Prashant’s house
Prashant who is sleeping, feels the sunlight on his face, and sees a dream, tells arti to close the curtains to keep the sunlight from his eyes. Shobha, passing by from his room, hears him say this and comes inside. he is still murmuring arti’s name and telling her not to trouble him on a Sunday morning.
She spots a glass of water on the bedside and spills the water on him. He wakes up in a tizzy and still with his eyes closed, and in a dream, reprimands arti for doing that and opens her eyes to face Shobha. She tells him that when arti was with him, he never cared for her. But now that she’s happily settled in her married life, he’s thinking about her. He clarifies that he was watching a dream about her hence the name-calling. she asks him to remember that it was just a dream and not the reality of his life.
That the arti who loved him has no relation with him anymore that she is happily married to a loving husband and wonderful kids, so it’s better that he forgets about her and stops thinking about her even in his dreams. Saying so she leaves.
