It’s not easy to love 11 January 2023: Sid gets Indu’s reports from the doctor and finds out that she has lung cancer. The doctor says we still have a chance to save her, she needs proper treatment and to make sure that she doesn’t have any stress. Sid is tense hearing that and recalls his mother dying. He thinks I feel like I am losing my mother again, I can’t lose her again.Mithai and Indu pray in the mandir. She makes Indu eat parsad and says soon we will go back to the village and I will fulfill my dreams. you will take a rest and I will take care of you. I will go and cook for you. She leaves.
Sid comes home with Indu’s reports and brings them to Dadu. He reads the reports and is shocked. Sid and Dadu come to Indu’s room. She asks about her reports. Sid looks away. She asks what is it? Dadu says any illness can be treated now. Indu says what is it? Sid says your reports are positive. She says what do you mean? Sid says you have lung cancer. Indu is stunned. Sid says don’t worry, I won’t let anything happen to you. Dadu says we will start your treatment. Indu says I am requesting you to not tell anything to Mithai. Dadu says till when you will hide it? Indu says she has worked hard and if she finds out about my health then she will break down. Mithai comes there and asks if her reports are here? What is it? Dadu says she just has a minor lung infection. She will be fine soon.
Mithai says then we can go back to the village soon right? Thank you for taking care of us here. Sid and Dadu leave from there. Mithai asks Indu to take a rest. She hugs her. Indu says I am fine.Dadi is praying in the mandir and prays for Indu’s health. Dadu prays for Indu and says Mithai can’t lose her mother.Indu recalls Sid’s words and takes out the necklace that Aarti gifted to Mithai when she chose her as her daughter-in-law. Indu comes to Dadi and Dadu. Dadu says why are you here? Indu says I am fine, I have your item which I should return. She shows them the necklace. Dadi says this is Aarti’s necklace, what is it doing with you? Indu says Aarti gave it to me, I thought to give it back to her when I meet her but.. she gives it to Dadi.
Dadu says you are lying Indu? Dadi says this is our family necklace so why did Aarti give it to you? Dadi says tell us the truth. Sid comes there and hears them talking. Indu tells Dadi and Dadu that Aarti came to meet me and Mithai when she was a child. Aarti asked for Mithai’s hand for Sid. All are shocked. Indu says I know we have a different social status so I am not suggesting anything. Mithai was very small when Aarti fixed her and Sid’s marriage. We never knew that life would turn out like this. I lost my husband and I couldn’t get an education for Mithai. This is your family necklace so it should go to Sid’s wife only. You people have done a lot for me and my daughter.
I have one more request, you know a lot of people so please find a good man for Mithai as I want to see her settle down before I die. She leaves from there. Dadi tells Dadu that nobody should find out about this matter. Dadu finds Sid there and asks if he wants to talk? Sid says no, I was just going for a walk. Sid recalls Indu’s words and is worried.Dadi asks Dadu what is he thinking? Dadu says I think we should tell about Aarti’s promise to Sid. Dadi says no, don’t talk to him and if Ginesh finds out then he will create a scene.
I like Mithai but Sid and she are different. Dadu says yes but I find myself close to her. I didn’t know what I wanted but after hearing about Aarti’s wish from Indu’s mouth made me realize that it’s my wish too. Don’t you think that Aarti is hinting that if Mithai becomes our daughter-in-law then she will reunite this family, she will make sure that everyone is happy and she will take my prestige ahead. God has blessed her to make good sweets. Dadi says Sid and Ginesh will never agree. Mithai comes there with milk. She says I feel like everyone is hiding something from me. Dadu looks on.
Mithai asks Dadu if he is hiding something from her? Is her mother fine? Tell me if there was something in the report. Dadu recalls Indu’s request and says she will be fine soon, she just needs treatment. Mithai says when Maa becomes fine then we will go back to the village. Dadu says you should stay here for some days as your mother needs treatment. We will find better doctors here so you shouldn’t go back to the village. Mithai says I won’t go back till my Maa becomes fine, she leaves. Dadu tells Dadi that Mithai has a heart of gold.
Sid sits alone and recalls Indu’s words about how Aarti chose Mithai for him in their childhood. He recalls in his childhood how Ginesh used shout at Aarti and was not happy in their marriage. He looks at her photo and says I want to stay away from relationships but they keep following me. First Apeksha and her mom Deepti but you also Maa? Why?Mithai comes to the mandir at night and prays for her mother. She says I trust Dadu’s words. She finds Chachu there and asks if he needs anything? He says no. you bring happiness here so promise to come here for Karishma’s wedding. Mithai says for sure, we will celebrate together. Chachu blesses her.
Sid comes to his room and is stressed. Kirti comes outside his room and says sorry to disturb you but I wanted to ask about Indu’s health. Sid says yes, she just has an infection and will be fine soon. Kirti says I have seen you concerned for someone for the first time. I feel happy to see you care for somebody. I pray that you are this involved with your family also. She leaves. Sid looks on.Mithai tells Indu you should take a rest, I will go and make laddos. Indu smiles and thinks I just want her to be happy.Dadi and others are going to make laddos.
Indu comes to them and says I can help you all. Geetu says you should take a rest. Indu says I am fine now. Mithai comes there and says no one can stop her. Dadi is not happy but says let’s go and make laddos together.Rajeev and other kids talk about eating laddos. Dadi calls them into the kitchen to help with cooking. All family members start making laddos.
Sid is working in his room when he hears bhajans in the house. He comes to the kitchen in anger and finds Indu happily singing with everyone so he calms down. He shouts at Shaurya to stop making noises, I am working. He asks Dadi to rest at this age. Dadi says this makes me happy so I can’t leave all this. Apeksha comes there and thinks I can prove that I am desi and ideal. She greets them all and says I came to pick up Sid but I want to join your family in this celebration.
Ginesh comes to Deepti’s house and says I want the files for leasing. Deepti says I am your lawyer but you come to get files from me. Ginesh says you are just not our lawyer but a friend. Deepti says Apeksha went to your house. Ginesh says Sid won’t be irritated anymore.Apeksha tries to sit on the floor and make laddos. Sid thinks what’s wrong with her? I will need to stay here now.Deepti tells Ginesh that Apeksha and Sid are very close, they are friends for 10 years.
Ginesh says only Apeksha is close to Sid, I think Sid should have a girl like Apeksha in his life who is smart, intelligent and can support him.Apeksha is trying to make laddos, Mithai tries to teach her. Sid looks on.
