Imlie 20 August 2023: Atharva tries to wear his kurta and its button breaks down. He tries to thread a needle fuming and recalls struggling to wear a tie when Imlie teaches him watching a video. He thanks her for saving his day. She says she will never let him astray. Imlie passes by and notices him struggle to thread a needle but tries to leave. Atharva requests her to fix his kurta button. Imlie says she is going to Sundar as he has some work, thinks its difficult to say him no, but she has to keep herself strong to protect him from Chini.
Anu likes Chini’s wedding jewelry and clothes. Chini fumes that she couldn’t perform prewedding rituals with Arto even after conspiring so much with Keya, she doesn’t want to wear these designer clothes and jewelry for Abhishek. Keya says let us do something. Chini says they should focus on Arto instead of Imlie and make sure she performs at least one prewedding ritual with Arto. She then walks to Rupali who says she ordered her organic haldi for haldi ritual. Chini says she needs organic hand pounded haldi. Rupali gets emotional and says she will pound her haldi. Chini says let Imlie do that. Rupali asks why should Imlie pound haldi. Arpita calls Rupali, and she leaves. After some time, Chini holds Atharva’s hand and insists him to reveal their relationship to someone and perform ritual with him. Atharva hesitates and asks her to leave his hand before anyone sees them.
Keya acts as surprised seeing them together and asks if they patched up. Chini acts. Keya says its good they patched up and Atharva is getting rid off behanji Imlie, he should inform about their relationship to his parents before Chini marries Abhishek. Atharva hesitantly agrees and leaves. Keya and Chini rejoice and think Arto will apply haldi with her for sure. Atharva feels confused and thinks he needs his buddy Imlie’s help. In the evening, Abhishek with his parents walks in for haldi ceremony. Rathores and Ranas welcome them. Arpita praises Ranas for letting them perform Chini’s wedding at their house. Imlie joins them and praises Rana family. Chini walks in saying she is different. Arpita notices Rupali missing and asks where is she. Keya says she is pounding haldi/turmeric outside.
Imlie thinks of helping Rupali and walks out. Atharva enters and thinks she is trying to avoid him. He walks to her and asks why is she void him. She says she isn’t. He asks why didn’t she fix his kurta button then. She says he should learn to help himself. He holds her hand and says he needs her. She gets emotional, says Rupali needs her, and leaves. Chini grins noticing that and wishes happy haldi to Arto. Arto says its her haldi and not his. She emotionally blackmalils him and says she wants to perform haldi with him and asks him to be with her. Arto stands confused. Chini smirks seeing her plan working. Rupali pounds haldi alone. Imlie asks her to go and attend Abhishek’s family and watch Chini’s haldi ceremony. Rupali gets emotional and says she will miss Chini. Chini says she is there for her. Rupali asks if she is happy. Chini says a lot as she is learning new things during her job internship. Rupali says she means Atharva. Imlie says she is happy to have Atharva’s friendship and doesn’t except anything else from him. She sends her in and grinds haldi thinking about Atharva and thinks Atharva knows her answer, even then he is not ready to listen; she will describe her own story whatever it may happen.
Precap: Imlie tells Atharva that its time to go away from his life forever. Chini tells Atharva that today is her and Abhishek’s wedding, they will separate forever if he doesn’t react. Atharva looks at them both and thinks he knows what to do.
Imlie grinds turmeric/haldi for Chini and thinks she is also getting crushed like this turmeric, let anyone say whatever they want to, she will describe her own story. Keya asks Chini to get her haldi ceremony. Chini laughs saying let Imlie continue to crush stones thinking its haldi, she will enjoy her haldi ceremony with Atharva. Rupali walks in and asks which haldi is this, Imlie is crushing haldi for her with so much difficulty. Anu says its from Abhishek’s house. Chini says she will use only hand pounded haldi for her face. Rupali leaves. Abhishek’s haldi ritual starts. Shivani notices Atharva standing sadly and tells Rudra that if he had not forced Atharva to marry Imlie, Atharva would have been happy. Rudra asks her to stop it now. Athara thinks if Imlie is trying to avoid Chini’s function of him, he will confront her right now.
Chini walks towards Atharva thinking cheesy boy will understand that she is the best choice for him only with a cheesy way. Imlie finds hard to grind haldi and grinds it in a mixer. She finds stones in haldi powder and realizes that Chini knew that she will not let Rupali grind haldi and hence tricked her to waste her time here while she plans something. She rushes inside house to confront Chini. Chini heads towards Atharva and is about to drop halid bowl on him when Imlie slips on a mat and falls down. Chini drops haldi bowl in shock. Atharva runs towards Imlie catching haldi bowl, helps her sit, and applies haldi on her injured hands. Family rushes to them. Arpita says they are made for each other. Chini burns in jealousy seeing that.
Rudra tells Devika seeing Atharva and Imlie’s bonding, it looks like its their haldi. Devika expresses her concern seeing his attraction towards Chini and thinks she really doesn’t know what he wants. Rudra hopes Atharva chooses Imlie. Imlie takes grounded haldi to Chini’s room. Chini asks what is this. Imlie says its Chini’s crushed dreams and says she can crush a mountain for her friend, forget a few pebbles. Chini challenges that soon she will be marrying Atharva right in front of Imlie. Imlie says she will not let Atharva ruin his own life. Chini asks her to accept that she loves Atharva. Imlie recalls quality moments spent with Atharva and says she is concerned for her friend and wouldn’t mind if he takes an informed decision. Chini challenges her that soon she and Atharva would be expressing their love for each other in front of everyone, Imlie’s won’t be able to do anything. Imlie walks away saying lets see and thinks she needs to protect Atharva from Imlie at any cost.
Back to her room, Imlie tries to bandage her wrist wound. Atharva passes by and walks towards her room to help her. She closes door and says she needs to rest. Atharva insists her to let him help her. Imlie says she needs to take decisions of her life alone, so he should let her alone. Atharva stands disheartened. Imlie thinks she is a fool to hurt Atharva like this, she should go away from Atharva but not like this. She opens door and doesn’t find him, thinks she has to go away from him or else she will continue to hurt herself and him. Chini drags Atharva away. Atharva asks what is she doing, he was talking to Imlie. Chini says today is her wedding with Abhishek. He says the world is not ending though. Chini says her end will end if she marries Abhishek, even his world and he would be searching for his hookline forever. She threatens to end her life if he doesn’t marry her.
