I do 3 may 2022: Zoya is shocked at mamu’s confession of having killed her mother. She remembers her haunting nightmares. She falls unconscious while all are tensed for her. later, she wakes up on the bed, with dilshad next to her asking her about her health. She wakes up and asks for mamu. Asad signals him and he enters along with razia, with his head hung low. He comes beside her and she asks him why he did this. he says that there’s no reason why he did this, and that he wanted to tell her the truth, but was afraid top lose her, after having gotten her after such a long time. He says that had he not told her the truth, he wouldnt have been able to face her, and says that the biggest of punishments would be less for him.
Mamu tells zoya, while she sits tensed, and all others are distraught that he is willing to get any punsihment that she gives him and would accept even if she wants to send him to the gallows. She says that she always wanted to be with her father and thought that he must have been helpless that he never met her, but he always did it to hide his crimes. she says that haider may have forgiven him for his crimes but she wont. All are tensed, as she rants in shock that he killed her mother. Zoya says that she would give him a punishment that is above all this and is the strongest punishment of all. She says that from today onwards she breaks off all relations with him. mamu is distraught.
She says that today onwards he isnt her father and she isnt his daughter. Mamu is heartbroken, as she says that he would never meet her or see her ever again and asks him to leave this house forever, as his life is his ultimate punishment. He nods his head in compliance. He streches his hand to bless her, but she turns her head away. He resignedly moves out of the room, casting one last cursory glance at his daughter, zoya, who stoically looks away from him. She too breaks down, crying incoherently. Razia too leaves after him, while dilshad composes zoya. Asad too sits beside her.
Mamu gives one last glance at his house, as he has his bags pakced, and razia too comes with her bags. She says that he took all her blames on himself and prevented her from falling in everyone’s eyes, but says that she cant face herself, as tanveer and she together conspired against him. she says that she isnt a good woman nor a good wife. she says that she maynot be forgiven, but she requests not to be stranded, and wherever he goes, she would come too. Mamu nods in compliance. they both take their bags and leave the house. Just as they turn around, they hear the sound of the musicbox, that humaira has in her hands, teary eyed. They both get emotional.
Mamu raises his hand in blessing, while humaira` and razia are teary eyed.Haider asks humaira about zoya, in their room. She says that zoya is getting better. humaira wipes her tears and asks him to go and meet zoya, as she would feel nice. he is hesitant, and says that zoya is in shock, and she would need some time to accept the truth of life, and that this isnt the right time to meet her. She asks him if a brother has to wait for the right time to meet his sister. He turns around surprised. She says that she always felt a relation between them but never knew that this relation has such a strong history, and remembers how she had insulted haider and zoya’s relation.
She asks him that zoya is his real chutki. he gets teary eyed as he nods his head in compliance. She asks haider to go be with zoya, as she is very alone, and wiping his tears she tells him that zoya needs him, her brother. He cups her face and she hugs him tightly, as all misunderstandings clear up.Zoya watches old video recordings, where she is yooung and is playing with her brother, who gets a doll for her. she is shocked. She turns around to find the same doll, lying on her bedpost, which was haider’s gift to her, on her marriage to asad. she turns around to find haider standing in the doorway, overwhelmed.
zoya looks at him in shock, as she remembers their moments together. She comes to the conclusion, that he is after all her brother. He comes in saying that when he felt for the first time, she was like his sister, he was right as she truly was. He tells zoya the truth, that she is the chutki, his best friend, his young sister who destiny had estranged from him. He says that he doesnt blame destiny now, as they have met again. Zoya is overwhelmed to know that he is her brother. they both hug each other. Asad and humaira watch this and are hapoy for their better halves.The next morning, all the ladies are taking care of nazma, and advise her to take care of her health.
Asad tells zoya that she too needs to rest. dilshad too says that they need to take care of zoya too. The doctor comes in and they all start anxiously asking questions about nazma’s health. the doctor says that in the first month, morning sickness is natural. they all are confused, as nazma’s fifth month is going on. The doctor informs the family that she is taklking about zoya and that zoya is prgenant. they all get to congratulating her, while asad is shocked still. dilshad blesses them both. He takes zoya aside. asad asks zoya that she couldnt know that she is pregnant. She is casual about it, while asad asks her how could she not identify the changes in her own body.
Zoya says now what, as she didnt get to know. asad says that she’s a girl and should have known. Dilshad finds them arguing. Zoya says that he too isnt a girl that he should know and think of all this, and that she couldnt understand if she’s pregnant or not. She again gets to reprimand her for being so controlling. asad asks her to come along then to the room for resting, and she doesnt. but he picks her in his arms and takes her insistently, while all the ladies are amused. The screen freezes on their faces.
Scene 1:Location: In the jail
tanveer remembers everyone’s betrayal and gets frustrated as days pass on, and she keeps marking all passing days. She says that no court or no jail, can stop her from fulfilling her promise, that she made to herself, and zoya, that she would take her revenge. She says that they all betrayed her together and they would have to pay a price for this, when she comes back.In another cell, nikhat goes to meet farhan, who is happy to see her. He tells her that he knew that she would come. she hands him the divorce papers. But he says that he has realised his mistake and wants to be given another chance to prove that he has changed. nikhat says that she’s sure that he would remain the same and asks him to sign the papers.
He asks her to calm diwn and think again, as to what would happen after she is divorced, as the society would taunt her. she says that he is completely mistaken and she doesnt need his support and that she is so powerful today due to him and his betrayal only. she says that her own family is always with her, but asks him to think what would happen to him, as he would be suffoctade in the jail, and gives him a pillow to rid himself of the jail, as he remembers that its the same pillow that he smothered her with.
As two months pass, tanveer is doing work in the jail, when she finds the door of a car ajar, which is nikhat’s who turns to talk to one of the wardens. Tanveer finds that its her chance to escape, and she stealthily approaches the car. Nikhat gets in to the front seat and drives off.
Scene 2:Location: Asad’s residence
After two months, dilshad organises a party in the celebration of zoya’s and nazma’s pregnancy, where all the ladies congratulate her as the guests start arriving. As shirin prepares the buffet, she is concerned for zoya, and humaira instantly gets pizza for zoya, telling shirin that she locves it. shirin asks her to get nazma and zoya down for the function. She asks about nikhat and humaira gets tensed.Zoya and nazma are brought down, where they all bless the two ladies, and ask dilshad to save them from evil eyes. shirin and dilshad too blesses them. as zoya is gorging on pizza, they all tease her about the same. Dilshad says that her baby would be bored of pizza too. But zoya vehemently denies that her child mwould go on her. They all have a good laugh. Zoya breaks into her poetry:Seedhi se jab thak jao, toh use karo lift,khaana toh ab ho gaya, toh kholte hai ab gift…!!!
They start discussing gifts as they open it, and wish that atleast one of them has a girl. Finally nikhat arrives at home, from the jail. She finds her papers strewn around, and wonders how did that happen. She arranges them all together, and goes inside, asking wajid to take the stuff out from the car. As she comes in, she realises that she is too late. dilshad reprimands her amusingly. Nikhat is disappointed that all the gifts have been opened. She congratulates zoya and nazma. Just then, wajid comes with a gift, that a courier person delivered. She is about to open it, when haider comes in and distracts her, asking her to come weith him. they both get up and are blindfolded, and move out, while the gift lingers around starnded.
haider and humaira take the ladies to a room, thats been decorated for the babies that are due. Asad comes in asking zoya how did she like it. zoya teases him how could he be so creative, as she cant believe it. asad says that it isnt her fault, as only the worthy can appreciate the deserving, and she may not but his baby would know his worth. nazma gets emotional thinking that they never had this kind of dream childhood, and asad says that thats tha reason that he asrranged all this. Humaira too congratulates them, while zoya teases her about her issue and its arrival. she gets shy. they all come down finally, hearing zoya’s poetry.Hindi filmon mein servants hote hainveerus bholusDekho kitne talented hai humare bachchon ke mamus…..
She sees that the gift hasnt been opened yet. Asad asks who sent it. Zoya says that there’s no name of the sender. As zoya begins to open a gift, that has something ticking inside it, asad gets suspicious while zoya is casual about it, and he asks her not to take any chances. haider agrees with asad, but zoya doesnt believe it. Asad says that in this gift, and tries to scare her, and she fearfully asks what, and he relieves and pleasntly surprises her by presenting her a model of the taj mahal.(MITWA) They relive their wedding memories, as zoya looks at him romantically. Dilshad reprimands asad for teasing zoya like that. asad says that just like this symbol of love, their love too is for forever, and asks her to witness that no one shall be able to cast an evil glance at her or the family.
Scene 3:Location: In the jail.
tanveer isnt able to run off, as the wardens catch her, and tie her in her cell, so that she cant run again. She starts laughing incoherently, and then stops eyeing the names she scribbled on the wall. tanveer goes berserk thinking about the ladies that caused this to her, zoya, nazma, dilshad and asad. she is highly frustrated.
While humaira is excited about nazma and zoya’s impending delivery, she is tensed to find haider stressed. she asks him. He says that his dubai office called to finalise a deal, and humaira gets excited. He says that they would have to shift to dubai then. she gets tensed. he asks her to stay back for some more days till the babies arrive. But she says that they would have to go urgently and that she would be there for him always. She is tensed to hear that they have to go tomorrow, but then smilingly agrees, and hugs haider.
After two years, Dilshad sees rashid’s pic, and tearfully remembers her memories with him. she says that tanveer did get punished but the incompleteness isnt getting fulfilled, but life has to go on, and she has lots of reasons like asad and zoya, and naughty grandchildren. She remembers the past, as this house has witnessed standing the test of time. She says that even after him, his dream of all of them staying together has finally fulfilled, and his sacrifice didnt go in vain.
In zoya’s room, she is tensed about the list of stuff that hasnt been delivered yet, for the party that she has organised. asad comnes and tries to caress her, but she shoves him away, citing lots of work. But he doesnt listen to her, and intentionally gets intimate with her, teasing her too, that he was just trying to pull something out of the hair, justifying it to be right, as his love is justified. she says that the time isnt right, even though the work is. they find haider and humaira online, as they ping asad and zoya. they excitedly talk about the birthdays of the children, sanam and seher. Asad and zoya congratulate humaira on her pregnancy when haider tells them that humaira isnt allowed to travel. They hope to be together soon. After that, shirin and nikhat are online too, wherein they tell her that its very cold in Uk, and ayan is busy consulting doctors, for shirin’s worsening health.
she wishes asad and zoya all the best, and wishes for the daughters too. After exchanging greetings, asad and zoya log off. asad asks zoya to take it easy, while she is tensed for the arrangements.Nazma comes with Haya, her daughter, and dilshad comes in taking care of the daughter, while nazma goes onto take care of the party arrangements. Dilshad leaves with the child, while nazma picks up the things that she accidentally dropped. she is shown to be followed around by someone, not wantintg to be seen, and following her stealthily. Nazma goes into her room and she gets to relaxing, and freshening up in the bathroom. The following person locks the room from inside, after entering in.
Nazma feels someone’s presence but turns around to find noone. As she gets back to working, a stone breaks off the mirror in the bathroom, in the piesces of which she finds tanveer, staring at her from behind in venomous rage. While nazma is shocked, Tanveer stabs nazma with a knife in the stomach, while she is shocked. tanveer says that she must be feeling pain, but she too had faced the same some time back. tanveer expresses her frustration that in the past, she was dressed as a bride, and today too, that dsay also there was celebration and today too, that day also everyone was happy, and today too, and this house saw the worst and today also it would, The only difference being, that day it was on her, and today it would be on nazma.
nazma falls on the ground, clutching her stomach, as she doses off into unconsciousness, after tanveer stabs her yet again. Her entire life with its good memories flashes before her, while tanveer is satisfied.Downstairs, zoya is very angry that the arrangements have been done so far, and dilshad asks her to do so, while she takes care of her twins. Asad comes down and faces the brunt of her ire. Finding him tensed and silent, she asks whats the matter. Asad is tensed and looks at the door. Zoya and dilshad are tense3d to find mamu walking in, while zoya remembers that she had vowed never to see him again. zoya is shocked, while he says that he has called mamu here, as she was happy these two years, but it was incomplete, as they always searched for her father, and asks her to forgive him, as he has suffered enough already.
zoya looks at mamu, with teary eyes. As mamu extends his hands, she rushes to his arms, and they have a teary and emotional reunion. Mamu meets his grandchildren happily, while tanveer eyes them from a distance, from beind a pillar.Later, dilshad is searching around for the kids. Zoya says that they would be somewhere around. Zoya tells dilshad that she feels scared at having had so much happiness in her life together. Dilshad says that whatever would happen now, they would have to accept it, thinking that itd god’s wish, be it good or bad. mamu enters his room, and finds the musicbox in the almirah and gets emotional.
he thanks the lord for having spared him. tanveer comes from behind asking that he doesnt have much time to live. He is shocked to find her here, and says that she has run from jail. She says that she has to fulfill the promise that she made, of ruining his family completely. Mamu asks tanveer what nonsense is she talking about. she hits him on the head, and while she has a concussion, she ties a noose around his neck, choking him. meanwhile, asad, oblivious of tanveer’s presence and her intentions, walks in the hallway. Mamu too has flashes of good memories of his life, as he breathes his last, falling bait to tanveer’s plan too, like nazma.
tanveer is satisfied with a venomous revenge. hearing asad’s voice, tanveer hides, while he comes inside shocked to find mamy lying on the floor. The screen freezes on his face.
Scene 1:Location: Asad’s residence
While asad shocked tends to mamu, and tries to wake him up, taking the rope out of his neck, tanveer sizes her chance and stabs asad in the back. He is shocked and filled with a sharp pain. as she turns around, he is distraught to find tanveer standing before him. He takes her by the neck to strangulate her, but she jerks him off. She takes out the knife yet again. Tanveer says that he could have easily said the words, Qubbol Hai to her, but he didnt, and instead ruined, their happiness, and their lives too, just be rejecting her. As he doses off, she says that she understands that he’s in pain. Tanveer tells asad that she wont let him die so easily, as he still has to witness his zoya dying, a torturous death. He vehemently tells her that she would do no such thing, but she runs off.
With great difficulty, he manages to get up, fighting the pain, but then collapses again on the floor, as he finds tanveer, rushing towards zoya, in a venomous rage, helpless and in despair, until his vision finally blurs and he gets unconscious.Zoya hears a knock, and tells asad that it would just take her two minutes. tanveer’s voice saying that she actually has two minutes shocks her. she turns around to find her, with a blood stained knife, saying that she has two minutes to wish her goodbye. She eyes the knife, while zoya asks her what has she done. tanveer says that she has just done what she had promised, and did just that.
zoya is shocked as she remembers it. Zoya begins to rush out, but she catches her by the hair and begins to throw her on the floor. As zoya tries to run, she is stabbed in the leg, and her screams wake asad out of his dizzy state. Zoya is in great pain. She drags zoya to herself, sayingt hat she would finish the game that zoya had started, and now she would win. zoya asks her to let go, for god’s sake. tanveer says that even the lord wont come to save her and her family today. dilshad is oblivious of whats happening, as she plays with the grandchildren. Tanveer tells zoya venomously that she would have to die and finally stabs zoya in the back.
both asad and zoya cry in despair.(Sad MITWA) Dilshad notices a disturbance and gets tensed but doewsnt realise what it is. She asks the children to stay there only, and leaves to find out what happened. Tanveer turns her around and tells her that she wont let zoya die so easily, and would torture her to death. as she begins to stab zoya again, and zoya’s eyes are wide in horror, tanveer’s hands are stopped by asad, who manages to stop tanveer from stabbing zoya.
Dilshad comes to nazma’s room and doesnt find her there and gets tensed. she turns around to search for her somewhere else, where a blood trail coming from the bathroom, puzzles and shocks her to the core, as she opens the bathroom door, to find nazma lying in a pool of blood. she goes berserk and tries to wake her up, not believing what she sees right in front of her. she thinks about rushing to asad, and goes out of the room.Finally Asad is able to throw tanveer away on the ground. He is distraught to find his zoya in such a condition.
He takes zoya in his arms, and while they are clinging to each other, tanveer gets up, and finding her own face smeared with blood, and seeing them together, she is filled with venomous rage. She picks up the knife and stabs her yet again, and gives one final fatal blow to asad, and he falls beside zoya, much to her horror. Dilshad sees this, as she stands in the doorway and is distraught and shocked, overwhelmed with grief and horror. tanveer next gives a fatal blow to zoya, and she writhes and screams in pain. Meanwhile, tanveer’s wound starts paining bad, and says that she would have her revenge. asad and zoya turn around to find dilshad with sanam, who blocks haya’s vision so that she isnt affected.
zoya signals her to leave and protect the children. Dilshad rushes out with haya, screaming for help, and sees that seher is missing. She takes sanam and haya, and runs out.Outside, dilshad is rushing with Haya, nazma’s daughter and one of zoya’s twins, sanam on the road, dishevelled and distraught, until her energy finally gives in and she falls on the floor, tired and exhausted. she screams out in feeble voices for someone to help, in the isolated and deserted road.
Meanwhile, tanveer sprays the whole room, with kerosene oil, to burn the whole house down along with them. Both asad and zoya, lying on the ground at a distance, try to get their hands to meet, amidst the petrol, so that even death cant do them apart, as they both, in pain, still manage to look at each other with romance and love abrim in their eyes, for each other, as happy memories of their lives and marriage flash before their eyes. Finally their hands meet, and together they relive their memories from the past, about their love story and its culmination. Even as they face death together, they have a smile on their faces, as they relive the other accepting them in hands of marriage.
Finally both asad and zoya breathe their last, together. tanveer splashes the entire house with petrol, and then lights up the matchstick, and sets the whole haveli afire, after giving it one last glance, the house, that recently bore testimony to four murders.She starts guffawing having had her revenge.
