Gangaa 18 April 2020: Ganga runs up to Master, she asks Are you master ji? Have you come to meet Amma? What all do you teach? He gives her all the answers and is curious as to who she is. She doesn’t share anything with him. go and meet Amma ji. He goes inside after muttering to himself. Ganga is sure Amma ji wont like him. I am saved!
Tiwari ji finds out that the girl is none other than Ganga. Amma ji comes out to meet him. She takes his interview but he knows nothing about the scriptures, Bhagvad Gita or Ramayana, etc. He looks at Ganga. She smiles broadly and shakes her head at him. he is a little in awe of Amma ji’s personality. Amma ji asks him what he will teach kids if he has no idea about anything.
Raghav ji leaves for his house after assuring Niranjan that he has explained everything to the master ji.
Tiwari ji butters up Amma ji. You have opened my eyes. It is equally important to learn / know our holy scriptures. We can kill two birds with a stone. I can come here to teach Ganga and later on I can sit in your feet and learn about the scriptures as well. I will the Guru of the girl and you can be my Guru this way. Niranjan comes home. Both the men greet each other. He praises Amma ji before Niranjan. Amma ji falls for his words. Amma ji approves of Tiwari ji. He appreciates his will to learn. He can start teaching Ganga from today onwards only. Tiwari ji specially seeks blessings.
Niranjan tells Madhvi to bring snacks for Master ji in his study. I am going to take bath. I need to talk to him afterwards. She nods. Ganga and Master ji look at each other. He goes with Madhvi to Niranjan’s study.
Sagar returns home. He finds Ganga outside only. She tells him that she is hiding here from her Master ji. He is sitting with Babu inside. Sagar wonders why she is scared. She tells him that she doesn’t want to study. I am very much scared of studies and Master ji as well. You dint see his scale. He has brought it with him.
Niranjan finds Master ji gobbling at everything that is there on the table. Master ji also notices him and smiles. NIranjan says Ganga is very small. You would be having experience of teaching such a little girl? Master ji starts coughing. Don’t worry, I have set everyone right with this scale of mine. All the kids (his students) who dint use to like studies have started to study because of me.
Sagar and Ganga stay put on their points. She finally blurts that the master ji in her school in the village had a similar looking scale with him. Sagar is tensed. Ganga relates the incident. He used to beat me daily and all the kids used to make fun of me. I told Bappa once. Bappa confronts Master ji. I know knowledge is important so the Guru’s are considered equal to God but it doesn’t mean that you will beat her. Master ji says she wont learn any other way. Bappa had refused to send Ganga to school anymore.
Master taunts him to let Ganga remain illiterate then. Bappa points out that his daughter is more intelligent than him (Master ji) even though she is not educated. Humanity is as important as education. You lack humanity. I wont send my daughter here. I will teach her everything. Flashback ends. Ganga doesn’t want to study. Masters beat a lot.
Niranjan is against raising a hand on little kids. It will scare kids. They will become scare of studies. Ganga has been through so much. She has lost both her parents in such a young age. I want her to become independent so she faces no problem when she grows up. I hope you will not be strict with her. Tiwari ji nods. I can atleast keep this scale with me to scare her. niranjan denies. There is not much difference in scaring or beating kids. Tiwari ji agrees. You are very soft hearted. Niranjan knows nothing about till when Ganga has studied. Find out and update me on the same. Tiwari ji assures him about it.
Sagar reasons that the master used to beat Ganga as she dint use to concentrate in her studies. Study diligently this time. No one will beat you then. she says I know only a few things. I dint study since the day Bappa took me out of the school. Sagar remarks that nothing can be done now. Maharaj ji calls out for Ganga as Niranjan is calling her. Sagar offers to help her. She doesn’t want to go thinking about the Master ji but he assures her that Niranjan wont let anyone harm her. She gets up to go as Maharaj ji calls out for her again. Sagar promises to think of something. She says I had told you to write in the letter that Babu should agree with Amma ji. You dint write it so its all a mess now. He reminds her that there was no space on the paper. I will help you in this.
Ganga comes Niranjan’s study. Her eyes fix on the scale. Niranjan tells her that Master ji will come to teach her every day. Tiwari ji wants to ask a few questions to Ganga so he can decide which class she will be studying for. Ganga stands there tensed.
Prabha comes to Chaturvedi house. She can feel the fragrance of yummy snacks in the house. She asks the maid about it. Has some guest come home? She is surprised to know about the Master ji who is here to teach Ganga. Amma ji tells Madhvi to make halwa for Sagar. Prabha greets her. This girl (Ganga) is so lucky. I have to think n number of times to send my Prince (Yash) to tuition. Then I have to make all the calculations for month. But a teacher is coming home to teach this girl! Your son is wasting his hard earned money on this girl and you are happy? Amma ji tells her not to waste her time in thinking all this. Luckily, Chaturvedi House has everything. Don’t take too much tension and eat some snacks. I will go and check what that Master is teaching to Ganga.
Master ji is busy in eating snacks. Ganga sits there worriedly. Maharaj ji tells Master ji to call him in case he needs something. Master ji is anyways amused / happy with what all he has got today. sagar hides behind a pillar to see what they are studying. Master ji tells Ganga to read an English kid’s rhyme. He asks her to repeat it. Amma ji interrupts him for teaching English rhyme in the first class itself. Tell her something religious. He reasons that it is not in the course. She knows it but feels that scriptures only will help Ganga in her life. She tells him to repeat after her. She indirectly starts taking a class of him. Ganga, Sagar and the maid enjoy watching the same. Maid tells the same to Madhvi. She decides to bring Amma ji downstairs so Ganga’s studies are not disturbed. She also tells Maharaj ji to seek Prabha’s help in deciding upon which halwa to make.
Amma ji points out to Master ji that his pronunciation is wrong. How will you teach the kids if you will talk like this? Madhvi interrupts them. She takes her away on the pretext of putting the medicines in proper bottles and for also guiding Maharaj ji regarding halwa. Amma ji murmurs to Madhvi that the teacher is ok but he has a big belly. If his stomach gets upset then he will surely take leaves. Sagar overhears this. Master ji continues to gobble on the food. He again turns his focus to Ganga. She confesses that she cannot read anything. He starts with ABCD. She is feeling dizzy.
Prabha sits down on the slab only as she pesters Maharaj ji to add more dry fruits in the halwa. I will take some for Prince too as he loves halwa. Sagar comes running there. He is desperate to take some for himself. He runs away with a bowl of halwa. Prabha tells him to eat carefully as it is hot. Amma ji stops Sagar. He says I will give it to Master ji first. Madhvi agrees but Amma ji is kind of against it. She falls for it when Sagar insists. We must respect our teachers. Prabha tells Maharaj ji to pack some for Prince too. Pulkit was watching everything and is curious. Sagar always wants to eat halwa first. What happened today? There is something fishy.
Sagar mixes something (laxatives) in the halwa. He next gives it to Master ji. Tiwari ji gets happy but he tells Sagar to bring one bowl for Ganga as well. Sagar denies. Widows cannot eat all this once the sun sets. Ganga is angry. Master ji falls for Sagar’s words and eats the halwa. He appreciates Chaturvedi family for playing nice host to everyone. He suddenly gets up sensing some disturbances in his stomach. He goes to washroom after telling Ganga to write ABCD. Sagar cannot control his smile anymore. He laughs badly. Ganga is irked with him for talking like Amma ji. He tells her what he has done. She is worried about Niranjan’s reaction but he is sure he wont be in a condition to talk now.
Master ji comes downstairs. Amma ji asks him the reason. he simply pulls Maharaj ji near him and signals him about washroom as he cannot speak in such a condition. Maharaj ji directs him towards the washroom. He farts once before leaving from there. The ladies and Maharaj ji hold their noses. Amma ji repeats what she had said earlier.
Master ji keeps going to the washroom very frequently. Ganga and Sagar laugh seeing him thus. Pulkit comes there and observes them. Madhvi tells Maharaj ji to give water to Master ji. Master ji has to go to washroom yet again so he cannot take it. he is all sweating badly by the time he comes out. he takes leave for the day. I will take my books back tomorrow. Madhvi nods. Sagar and Ganga go quiet when they notice Pulkit standing behind them questioningly. He demands to know what Sagar has done that the teacher is in this condition. Did you mix something in the halwa? Sagar denies. You can eat it and find out for yourself. He picks up the same bowl from which Master ji was eating. Pulkit walks away from there. Sagar mildly scolds him for it. what if bhaiya had eaten it? He reasons that Pulkit bhaiya would have doubted him if he had reacted like he was scared. Prabha takes it from him and eats it. She too can feel some rumbles inside her stomach in a minute
Prabha calls Madhvi. I am ill since the time I ate that halwa. Maharaj ji might have added something wrong by mistake. It is good that I ate it first. What if Yash had eaten it first? Madhvi tells her to visit a doc first. Don’t be careless about your health. Inform me about everything. Prabha talks about the expenses of a doc visit. Anyways, whatever had to happen has happened! She ends the call.
Madhvi shares the news with Amma ji. Maharaj ji clears that he made the halwa like he makes it every time. Your bhabhi (Prabha) forced me to add more dry fruits in it. AMma ji smiles. If she will eat this much then how will she digest it! all of us ate it but we all are fine.
Pulkit has made Sagar and Ganga stand on the bed with their hands raised over their head. He warns them to speak up or he will share it with Niranjan. Sagar confesses that he had mixed laxative so Ganga doesn’t have to study. Pulkit is shocked to know about it. you should be punished. Ganga denies. he did it for me so I should be punished. Sagar takes the blame on himself. They both continue doing this for each other. Pulkit is impressed with their unity. You are asking for punishment just so you can save one another. This should not be repeated though. He makes them repeat a sentence where they promise never to repeat it again. He frees them from their punishment and then turns to Ganga. Master ji had come to teach you. you could have asked for ideas from me. I could have given you a much better idea. The kids smile.
