Anupama 8 July 2022: Vanraj returns to his room and thinks of informing Kavya that he returned from a trip. He then thinks she must have slept by now, he doesn’t have energy to answer her questions, let everyone do what they want and he will do what he things right, he will not let Kavya and Nandini’s matter get complicated as he cannot afford any complications anymore. Stalker forcefully enters Kavya’s apartment. Kavya pleads for help. Stalker increases TV volume and walks towards her lustfully. In the morning, Anu serves tea to Vanraj. Vanraj sees his phone off and dials Kavya’s number via landline. Someone speaks and asks if he is knows Kavya. He asks where is Kavya and runs away tensed. Anu hearing him asks what happened to Kavya. Toshu asks why did papa left in urgency. Anu rushes behind Vanraj, sits in his car and asks what happened. They reach Kavya’s apartment floor and see neighbors peeping in.
They walk into Kavya’s apartment and see all stuff shattered around and Kavya sitting in a dilapidated state senselessly, indicating she was molested. Anu drapes shawl over her torn dress and asks what happened, but Kavya sits senselessly. Vanraj asks Kavya what happened to her and asks if she is fine.Kinjal asks Samar to call mummy and find out what happened to Kavya. Samar sees Anu’s phone nearby. Toshu switches on Vanraj’s phone and sees Kavya’s messages to call her as she feels weird about a man/neighbor/stalker who looks shady, etc. Kinjal asks what happened. Toshu says there are Kavya’s messages on papa’s phone, he read one message accidentally. Samar asks what is written in messages. Kinjal asks is there any problem. Toshu says he thinks so as Kavya was in problem when she messaged, he has a weird feeling that someone forced Kavya. Kinjal calls Kavya. Baa, Bapuji, and Mamaji hear their conversation.
Vanraj shakes Kavya and asks what happened. She vigorously cries hugging him tightly. He asks who harmed her. She continues crying and says a man was troubling her since many days and yesterday he forcefully entered her house, told as she is since she is available for everyone, she called Vanraj and messaged him, man tried to molest her. Vanraj stands shocked. Anu says she is not responsible for someone’s thinking. Kavya says she tried to resist and threw things on him, that moment was so painful and unable to handle it she fell unconscious and woke up in the morning.Kinjal tells family that Kayva must have messaged papa, but his phone was witched off. Samar says she should have called them, he will call Nandini. Toshu shouts no need for that. Vanraj and Anu bring Kavya home. Baa seeing her condition asks to take her to guest room and call doctor. Samar says if nandini sees. Kinjal asks not to inform her anything now. Bapuji asks if Anirudh did this. Toshu says it was someone else. Vanraj and Anu take Kavya to guest house. Vanraj nurses her wound. Anu says she is completely safe here and offers her water. Vanraj says they will visit doctor and then police station and get that man rigorously punished. Anu goes to check on doctor. Vanraj apologizes Kavya and says this wouldn’t have happened if he was with her.
She says she will feel same insecurity after going from here, he cannot understand how difficult it is for a single man to stay alone. He says he will accompany her to her house. She says she gave that house to Anirudh in exchange of divorce, she didn’t realize then how important it is for single woman to have a shelter. She hugs Vanraj and continues crying. Anu thanks god for warding off a big problem. Samar asks Kinjal if he should inform Nandini about Kavya as Kavya is Nandini’s aunt. Kinjal agrees. Toshu yells that he knew they are up to something, asks Samar if he is not ashamed to think of Nandini after yesterday’s incident. Samar warns not to misbehave with Kinjal and to stop creating a scene. Toshu shouts he is creating a scene by thinking of bringing Nandini here. Samar says he is bringing Nandini for Kavya, he is supporting Mr. Shah bringing his girlfriend home because Kavya needs help and support. Samar asks if he will bring Nandini also.
Samar says he will as Kavya needs support, so he will go and bring Nandini. Toshu yells that he just needs an excuse to meet Nandini, so he should silently sit at home and not bring Nandini home. Samar asks Kinjal what is wrong with Toshu, he is concerned for Kavya. Kinjal says even she is.Vanraj asks Kavya why didn’t he inform her after taking such a big decision. She says he had gone to his grandma’s home leaving his phone at home, she gave her home to Anirudh as she wants to be with Vanraj, she is afraid thinking where will she go now alone, she is scared to be alone, so he should marry her so that nobody should think her available and try to molest her. Vanraj says she is brave and strong. She says she cannot fight daily and let men misbehave and molest her. He asks her to calm down. She continues that she is tired of listening to people’s taunts, their relationship is illegal until he gives name to it, she wants to stay with him in his house as she doesn’t have any place to stay now, he can shift with her to another house if not, etc. Baa looking at Kavya’s footsteps and reminiscing previous incident thinks last time when she entered, her house’s peace was lost, if even this time she is acting to ruin her house. Anu hears her thoughts.
Anupama tells Baa that she knows what she is thinking, but if Baa had seen Kavya in a condition which she saw her in, Baa wouldn’t have thought this. Baa says she must be right, but what she is doing is not right; very bad happened to Kavya and as a woman, she sympathizes her; she can sympathize her and do whatever she wants, but shouldn’t ask her to stay here. Samar tells Anu that Baa is right that wrong happened to Kavya, they should support her, but letting her stay in this house is not a right decision; they should send Kavya home as soon as she gets well as Mr. Shah is there to take care of her. Kinjal says after what happened with Kavya, any girl would be afraid of staying alone. Toshu says she can go and stay in Nandini’s house and mummy should tell her that. Anu says its not a time to advice but to help her, thinking is Vanraj and Bapuji’s job and not Toshu’s; they make a tag of friend and enemy, but should only think of humanity during problems; when she saw Kavya in that condition, she was afraid; police told Kavya showed bravery, so nothing happened to her and doctor told everything will be normal in 2 days; will she be able to trust even any dear ones after 2 days, will she not shiver in fear after 2 days;
police told accident didn’t happen at all, but why don’t they understand that fear is woman’s biggest accident and don’t know how many girls go through this accident and when it happens to their dear ones, neither police nor anyone understand it, etc. She tells Baa that when she and Vanraj saw Kavya in that condition, they couldn’t understand anything and brought her home thinking she needs their support. Baa says her thinking is right, but they need to think about peace and happiness of this house, so she shouldn’t tell Kavya to stay here. Anu says she will neither tell her stay or go as it can’t be her decision, a lot happened between her and Kavya, even she is a human and may not take a right decision even if she forgets her bitter past with Kavya, so Baa, Bapuji, and Vanraj should take the decision and not her; she can understand Kavya’s pain as a woman and also can understand Baa’s concern; she is unable to understand at all, but can clearly understand that she is a woman and should support a woman, so she shouldn’t force her to take a decision.
Vanraj walks down to them. Anu says he must have heard everything and should tell his decision. Baa asks what he wants. Vanraj says he wanted to protect Kavya and may be good or bad, but he will stand for those who love him, be it Kavya or his family; he always protected them but couldn’t; he should have told Kaya to leave, but he couldn’t do so; Kavya gave her house to Anirudh in exchange of divorce, so Kavya will stay here and he cannot let her go anywhere else; hence Kavya will stay in this house with him at least for now. Bapuji asks Anu her opinion. Vanraj says its a matter of a few days. Anu says if Baa and Bapuji don’t have any problem, Vanraj and Kavya can stay here until they find a place to move; as an woman, she will help and take care of Kavya, but whenever Kavya came here, her family, relationships, her children and their lives were at stake, reminiscing all the incidents. She continues that she is with Kavya as a woman, but is also with her family as a bahu and a mother; she wants to help her, but don’t want to become mahaan/great as she cannot let her house burning because of others; so if her family is harmed a bit, family is with her and even decision will be hers; if thinking about dear ones makes her selfish, then she is selfish and she doesn’t regret about it. She apologizes Vanraj if he is hurt and walks away to prepare something for Kavya.
Vanraj says he will bring Kavya’s stuff from her house. Toshu says he will accompany him. Kinjal says she will go and get ready for her job. Baa sees Bapuji thinking and asks what is he thinking. He says one that she is thinking, even he is feeling fear that situation may get worse from here.Anu is busy in kitchen when Samar walks to her and says he wants to say something. Anu asks if he is worried about Sweety. He asks how does she know. She says Sweety will not understand Kavya’s situation and will over react. He says even he is worried about Sweety. She hopes Vanraj and Kavya find a house in 2 days before Sweety returns. He asks what if it doesn’t happen. She says they need to handle the situation if it doesn’t happen; when life has thrown a ball at them, they have to raise the bat and hit sixer and just pray Kanhaji. He asks why she is so different and good than everyone. She says stop, pagal chokra/mad boy. They hear Kavya shouting and whole family rush to her. Kavya panics imagining her molester and shouts to go from here. Everyone say there is no one there and she is in a shock. Kavya cries lying on Anu’s lap. Anu asks Samar to call Vanraj and consoles her like a mother. She sings lullaby for Kavya and makes her sleep.
Kinjal tells Baa that Kavya’s condition is really bad. Samar says she is in trauma. Baa says she is worried for Anu as she has to handle even her sautan now. Bapuji says she is Anupama who cannot see anyone’s pain, even of the person who gave her pain. Baa says one needs a big heart what Anu is doing, even she cannot do that. Kinjal says not even her. Baa says no woman in the world can do that except Anu. Samar says they cannot imagine what mummy is going through. Anu shivers reminiscing Kayva’s misbehaviors, betrayals, etc., but continues pampering her like a mother. Vanraj with Toshu returns home and asks what happened. Baa asks him to go in and find out. Vanraj gets into Kavya’s room and sees Anu making her sleep like a mother. Anu asks her to tell if he needs something and not leave Kavya alone as she needs dear one’s support. Vanraj apologizes her and says he is responsible for the problems she faced because of Kavya, he couldn’t save her from Kavya and couldn’t save Kavya from her pain.
Nandini looks at her and Samar’s photos. Samar enters. She asks him to go as uncle will feel bad. He hugs her and says he missed her. She says even she missed him and asks to go before anyone creates an issue. He says already an issue happened with Kavya.Vanraj says if he was with Kavya, this wouldn’t have happened, he hates himself, he couldn’t become a good father, good husband, good boyfriend, or a good employee and they are all sad because of him. Anu holds his hand and consoles him. He asks why she is so good, he makes mistakes repeatedly and she forgives him repeatedly; he now realized her goodness and feels guilty and small. Kavya wakes up calling Vanraj and says she got scared. Anu walks out of room leaving them alone.
