Anupama 6 December 2022: Anuj continues blaming himself for Malvika’s condition. He says he should die, but he can’t as he cannot see Mukku in this condition; maybe she is running away from her past, from her brother. Anu stops him.
Anuj asks how can he when Malvika got so much pain because of him; says when their parents passed away, Mukku didn’t say anything and when Akshay left, she just told he loved her and her money;
when he went to her husband’s house 31st December night, she had lost hope to fight and didn’t want to send that beast to jail, that happens when.. Anu when a personal breaks down completely. Anuj says when a mountain cannot bear a hit at one place repeatedly, Mukku is a human and lost everything; she is trying to run away from pain, but pain stays in their heart and never goes away.
Shahs get worried when Anuj and Anuj don’t pick call since a long time and decide to visit them and check. Anuj continues that Mukku tries to forget her trauma and moved on, but life reminded her of her past. Anu comforts both Mukku and Anuj on her lap. Vanraj enters and notices that. He messages Toshu that they are fine but cannot attend party as Mukku has some problem.
Kavya shouts why V stayed back there like he is their counselor, Anuj and Mukku always create problem for them and spoil their party. Samar says someone’s problems are bigger than her party. Baa says whatever the issue is must be serious or else Anupama will never skip her family’s party. Samar says exactly, someone cannot understand this simple thing.
Bapuji says its good that they are fine. Pakhi cries saying their new year is spoilt, they meet mummy on new year, now whole year will go bad. Kinjal consoles her. Kavya comments when new year is starting this way, there will be blasts whole year.
Vanraj walks to Anu and Anuj and says he had come here since they were not picking calls. He asks Anu to handle Mukku and takes Anuj away. Anu says Mukku suffered so much at such a small age, she punished a culprit when Kinjal and Kavya went through same situation, now she and Anuj will solve Mukku’s problem.
Back at Shah house, Kavya provokes Pakhi saying her mummy is more worried about her boyfriend’s sister than her. Baa warns her to stop her cheap behavior as Vanraj does like her now because of her cheap behavior. Kavya continues provoking Pakhi. Baa warns to slap her if she continues. Toshu and Samar console Pakhi and wish happy new year to each other. Samar says let us write down our wishes and drop it in a box. Ba writes down that her family should be together always,
Bapuji writes down that her daughter/Anu should get a happiness which she deserves, Mamaji forgets his wish, Kavya hopes her and V reunite, Kinjal prays for her family’s happiness, Toshu prays for success of his new business, Pakhi prays for her parent’s company at least on special occasions, Samar prays for his mother’s happiness. Kavya thinks she thought of convincing V on new year’s eve, but V has gone to his ex, ex’s lover and her sister, they 4 have amalgamated like a khichdi.
Vanraj offers water to Anuj and says everything will be alright; even he is a brother and can understand what Anuj is feeling; he may not need his support, but if need be, he is always there for him. Anu comforts Mukku and asks where did her husband beat her. Mukku feels pain in her elbow. Anu gently touches her elbow and asks if pain in decreasing now. She remember her pain and asks Mukku to speak out and vent out all her frustration. Mukku shouts why did he beat me, how dare he is, she will break his hands if he touches her again.
Anu asks her to imagine pillow as her torturer and vent out all her frustration on it. Anuj seeing that tries to interfere, but Vanraj stops him saying Anu is doing right as Mukku has a lot of anger hidden in herself. Mukku beats and tears pillow away and falls down senselessly.
Anupama sings a lullaby Chandaniya Chupjana Re.. for Malvika and makes her asleep. She then walks to Vanraj and Anuj. Anuj says Mukku. Anu says she slept. Vanraj says they don’t know how will Malvika react when she will wake up, they need to keep them prepared. He suggests Anu to rest for sometime as day may be more tougher than night.
Anu vents out her frustration and questions how can a man torture his wife after taking an oath to protect her; people normalize physical torture and think its okay as he returns home at night at least; women suffer silently and hide their physical and mental injuries, etc. Vanraj remembers treating similarly to Anu.
Anu says GK was reading Dr. Imoto’s book in which he wrote about his experiment on water in which he scolds one bottle of water and pampers another bottle of water and later finds the scolded bottle’s ice crystals broke while the pampered ones didn’t, it shows when love affects water so much, it affects a person much more.
She continues venting out her frustration and asks till when men will consider women as a punching bag forgetting that even women have a lot of work at home and are equally frustrated like them. Vanraj says till men don’t change themselves. Anuj then discusses about domestic violence and ways to control it.
Anu then goes to prepare tea. Pakhi video calls her. Anu apologizes her for not attending new year party and asks to call other family members. Family joins and asks what had happened there. Anu apologizes even them for not attending the party and says she really wanted to, but couldn’t. Bapuji says something serious must have happened there. Kavya insists to inform what happened. Bapuji stops her. Kavya then asks about Vanraj and asks her to send him back if situation is normal then. Bapuji scolds her not to be so stubborn. Baa says they can celebrate new year after some time. Anu thanks them and gets busy in other household chores
Vanraj returns home and doesn’t see Kavya in room. He hears Kavya’s voice message wishing him happy new year, talking about the issues the faced last year and hoping their new year would be problem-free. She informs that she is going out for sometime and would return soon. He hopes she never returns. After sometime, he walks to Baa and Bapuji ready and asks if they will attend new year party. Baa says they will get ready soon.
Vanraj says Kavya went somewhere uninformed irresponsibly, she should have informed them before going. Bapuji says she informed them and will return in 3-4 days, she will call and inform where she will stay, so he need not worry. Vanraj goes to inform children. Baa tells Bapuji that Vanraj and Kavya have gone a way apart. Bapuji says they were close and now going away from each other. Baa asks what about the words Kavya told before leaving.
Malvika wakes up and feels tensed remembering last night’s incident and Anu, Anuj, Vanraj finding out about her depression pills. Anu rushes to her and asks her to come out soon as Anuj. Mukku worriedly asks what happened to bhai.
