Twist of fate 7 May 2020: Daadi happily meet her cousin sisters. They start joking with each other. Her sisters say daadi that she is looking young day by day and says when she gets her great grandchildren, she will become 35 years old from 65 and ask her to call their bahu. Daadi ask them to meet the bride first. Sisters joke that Aaliya used to have runny nose in her childhood. They then see Abhi and Pragya coming down and say they look a perfect happy couple.
Abhi holds Pragya tightly, she asks why is he showing so much affection. He says he is doing it for daadi’s sake. They both then touch daadis feet and their head strike. Abhi scolds Pragya at first and then changes his tone and says he cannot see her in pain. Daadi says strikes their head thrice and says if they do that, they will be together forever. Abhi jokes if that is the case, he feels he should strike Pragya’s head repeatedly and break her head.
Taiji sees Purab and asks about his relatives. He says they are busy and cannot come. She tells him about Akash becoming Abhi’s manager and asks him to Akash and congratulate him. He is shocked to hear that and walks fast to meet Abhi, but clashes with Bulbul. She asks him if he cannot watch and walk, he says he did not see her and thanks her for coming. She says she came for Pragya. Aaliya sees them together and asks Purab to go in and meet daadi’s cousins. Once he goes, she asks Bulbul if she was trying a change on her fiance. Bulbul asks her to mind her tongue and they both start a verbal spat. Aaliya goes in saying it is her engagement and she does not want to spoil her mood.
Daadi greets in Sarla’s family and takes them to meet her cousins. They meet each other. Abhi says Pragya’s daadi is her favourite and she is rockstar daadi. Cousin daadi gifts him bangle. He asks how can he wear that. She asks him to make his wife wear it and forces him to do so. Abhi twists Pragya’s hands and says it is not going in. Daadi asks him to do it with love. Tanu sees that and gets annoyed.
Cousin daadi jokes Abhi to keep his hand on Pragya’s shoulder as she is his wife. Daaadi asks her cousin to stop pulling Abhi’s leg and takes her to meet other guests. Abhi says they have to act like a perfect couple and hugs her. Tanu angrily asks Pragya whatg was happening there. She ways whatever she saw and goes from there. Tannu gets annoyed hearing that.
Bulbul meets Pragya. Pragya asks why did she come in Purab’s engagement. She says she came on Sarla’s insistence. Pragya says she won’t be able to see it. Bulbul says she can see her happy at least and they both exchange their clutch bag.
Pragya’s cousin brother start staring at girls. Purbi and Bulbul scold her to stop staring girls. He sees Tanu and asks them to introduce him to her. They say they will inform Sarla and Pragya. He says he will inform them instead that they are teasing him.
Daadi asks Abhi to call Pragya. Abhi thinks hope he could keep Pragya out of engagement, but calls her on daadi’s insistence.
Engagement ceremony starts and panditji asks who will perform rituals from bride’s side. Daadi says Abhi and Pragya. Pragya starts the rituals. Abhi says he is happy seeing a girlfriend getting her boyfriend engaged to some one else. Bulbul thinks hope they start loving each other just liek they are together now.
Panditji asks who will perform rituals from Purab’s side. Purab says his uncle/aunty will come tomorrow. Daadi requests Sarla to perform rituals on Purab’s behalf. Sarla happily agrees and asks Bulbul to help her. Bulbul hesistantly helps her while Purab and Pragya sadly watch that. Sarla prays Aaliya to be with Purab happily forever.
Bulbul helps Sarla perform Purab/Aaliya’s engagement rituals. Abhi sees Purab crying and thinks he knows howmuch Pragya is fraud, hope it does not affect Aaliya’s life. He asks Aaliya to remove her specs and show her tears.
Cousin daadi asks what is he telling his wife. Abhi says he was just telling how much she hates Pragya. Daadi thinks he is joking and asks him to dance on his sister’s engagement. Abhi agrees and goes on stage with Pragya. He dances with Pragya on battameez dil… song and roughens Pragya. Everyone thinks he is enjoying the dance and get happy. Tannu is annoyed seeing them dancing together.
Pragya asks him to leave. He drops her on the floor. Sarla gets worried. Pragya says she is fine. Abhi holds her again and says this was first lesson, with 2-3 more lessons, she will dance like him. Daadis say that they both love each other and are like laila majnu. Tanu gets annoyed and leaves from there. Aaliya stops her and asks why is she going so early. She asks if she wants to see their romance and says it is her mistake, if she would have brought Pragya in Abhi’s life, it would not have happened. Aaliya says she will sort out once her enagement with Purab. Tanu says she can’t see this and will go now. Aaliya says Abhi goes to Tanu to torture Pragya and to make daadi realize Pragya’s true identity. She says she will show Pragya’s idenity to everyone today alone and asks her to go if she wants.
Sarla and Bulbul asks if she is fine as they saw Abhi pushing to the ground. Pragya says she is fine and Abhi loves her a lot. She takes them back to the engagement venue.
Aaliya tries to drop her engagement ring in Pragya’s purse. Mitali catches her red-handed and asks what is she doing. Aaliya says she wants to prove Pragya wrong and wants to take a grudge on her. Mitali says she will help her, takes ring from Aaliya and drops it in Bulbul’s purse instead.
Ring exchange ceremony starts and Daadi asks Pragya to bring the rings. Pragya goes to bring rings. Bulbul tries to from there saying she has to go to washroom, but Sarla stops her and asks her to go after engagement. Pragya gives ring boxes to Purab and Aaliya. Purab sees ring missing and informs it to Abhi. Aaliya says she gave ring boxes to Pragya. Pragya says she kept it on table without checking. Daadi asks if she is sure she kept rings in these boxes. Aaliya yes. Daadi says this did not happen till now.
Aaliya says it did not happen as everyone was from the house. Daadi asks Aaliya to check it in her room. Aaliya goes with Mitali to her room and asks Mitali if she surely kept ring in Pragya’s bag. She says yes. Tanu hears their conversation and praises Aaliya for her sure shot plan. Aaliya says Daadi and Purab will know how much greedy is Pragya and says she is feeling sorry for Pragya. She says Tanu let us go out and enjoy.
Aaliya says she searched whole ring and she did not find it. Cousin daadi says it is a bad sign. Aaliya says someone stole it and it is our family member. Tanu SMSes Abhi that she thinks Pragya took the ring as she is from a poor family and does not want Purab and Aaliya’s engagement. Servant informs that he did not find ring in the whole house. Daadi asks Aaliya to get another ring and get engaged. Aaliya says she will get engaged with only that ring and says people present there that someone among them took her ring as he/she does not want her engagemet with Purab and asks them to cooperate in searching the ring.
Daadi says everyone are our relatives, she cannot insult them by searching them. Aaliya says she will search only a thief. Abhi takes her to the side and asks what if Pragya does not have ring. Aaliya says she herself kept it. Abhi gets happy and says today Pragya will be kicked out.
Aaliya asks Purab to search her relatives while guards will search guests. Taiji and Mitali show their purses. Taiji takes out money bundles from her purse. Mitali thinks Akash must have already started stealing Abhi’s money. Purab asks Pragya to give her bag. Daadi says nobody will check Pragya’s bag. Tanu says she is doing partiality by leaving Pragya. Aaliya asks Abhi if he will mind if his wife’s bag is checked. He says no, let the world know that his wife is innocent.
