Our perfect place 2 April 2020: Rita thinks of Parimal request and then gives in. she shows them the address of the kidnappers from her phone. sameer also wishes to go but they ask him to stay back, as one of them should. they walk out.
Rita is extremely tensed in her room when gayatri comes to console her saying that nothing shall happen to niranjan. rita clutches her and cries her heart out, saying that she is scared, while gayatri comforts her. gaytri supports her decision and asks her to stick to those, and have faith in the lord, to get everything okay, and soon he shall change for the betterment. she asks rita to come out, as ila is getting tensed.

In the drawing room, they anxiously wait, while rita starts getting anxious. she tries to call rahul, but sameer stops her, asking her not to worry. ila and gayatri comfort her, that soon niranjan shall be back. they hear the car approaching and rush to the garden area. Parimal and sameer return back from the kidnapper’s place, empty handed. rita asks them where is niranjan. all are tensed. they tell that the people took the money and asks them to go back and wait, for him to arrive back. rita goes back to reprimanding them all as to what if he doesnt come back, and the jewellery is gone too. she starts blaming all of them. parimal says that he did what they thought was right as they had no other option for niranjan’s safety, and they are concerned too, as they are brothers, even though she is the wife. rita feels guilty.
They all console her, but she is very apologetic for behaving like that. rita turns to ila and govardhan too for apology, which is readily accepted. they get devyani’s call and are startled. she picks up and says that she was feeling restless, and asks if all is okay. ila explains and she gets tensed. parimal is tensed. they turn around and niranjan stands in front of them, having been dropped by some guys in the car, badly bruised and injured. rita rushes and hugs him, while others are overwhelmed with elation. niranjan tearfully goes upto them, while they tearfully accept him back. ila is apalled, but he says that its nothing. he apologises to everyone. parimal says that the best thing is that he is safe and they can talk later. he goes and hugs parimal. all are overwhelmed. gayatri tries to cheer them all up. they all get it.
Later, at the dining table, all banter while everyone is tensed, that ila isnt around, who is actually busy in the temple, thanking the lord. sameer takes leave for an early morning shoot. when ila comes back, she is tensed to find him going. but he cites it as urgent, and then hugging niranjan, he leaves. as sameer goes out, govardhan comes and says that he has lots to talk, but right now, he just wishes to say that he didnt plan on keeping him back, and asks him to come for the passport tomorrow. sameer leaves. rahul and rita too retire for the night, for their rooms. as parimal gets to leave, ila asks him to stay back with his wife for the night. gaytri is tensed. ila expects a yes. but he walks out with her. ila comes back, to them, and says that the entire family united, in trouble, but is that a necessary reason to be together. parimal says that they shall incite trouble, if they stay together, and hence its better they stay together, for troublesome times, and that overexpecting might lead them to lose what they already have. they leave. niranjan too retires off, leaving govardhan and ila alone in the garden as they hug each other.
In the room, rita is thoroughly tensed, as niranjan comes beside her, and thanks her galore for her contribution, which was paramount to save him. she is emotional but tensed. he tries to touch her, but she shoves him away, and then gets to bandaging him, while he tries to assure and assuage her. she asks him not to talk about it, as the mention of it is painful. he says that he shall get back her jewellery. she asks how, and says that seh isnt bothered about her jewellery as it shall come when it has to, and asks him not to bother. she goes to the balcony. he goes after her, and hugs her. she says that she didnt forgive him, as she can neither forgive nor forget and that the truth is she is his wife, and he the father of her children, and hence what she did today was a responsibility. he says that they can stay separately, as thats what she wanted. she says that she didnt want to stay with them, as she didnt know them, being with them, made her realise that they are very good people. he asks what should he do, to get her back. she asks him to start afresh then. he promises, but she stops him, asking him not to promise, and that the first thing is that whatever led to today, wont be repeated again. he complies. she asks him to freshen up and not sleep on the sofa from today. he happily complies.
The next morning, govardhan and ila talk, where she tells him that she saw rita going out, but didnt think it right to ask her where is she going. they are tensed as to what rita must have gone through. MEanwhile, niranjan wakes up, and eyeing his injuries, he remembers the way his family stood by him and feels highly guilty. he comes to rahul, who is fixing the family pic, and thanks him for what he did yesterday. rahul asks him not to bother as he did it for the family. Niranjan apologises to rahul too, for the way he taunted him. Rahul says that what he said the other day and what he says today, are least bit concerning to him, then why bother to apologise. niranjan hears tensedly.
Scene 2:
Location: Parimal’s residence
Parimal and gaytri again have a heated arguement, over whether to shift in the house, or atleast start living with them, more cozily. he starts talking about how he stood for the family when needed, and asks her what more does she want. she says that he shouldnt have said those bitter words to ila. they start the pros and cons of staying or not with family. she points out how he misses uday, and ila misses him like the same only. parimal gets enraged and asks why does ila want him to stay with them only. She says that she isnt saying that he bridges the distance in a day, while he adds that such a distance wont be bridged at all, as she has no clue of what pain, who is bearing. they eye each other tensedly.
Niranjan eyes the pic, when ila comes, and asks whats the matter. he points at the shattered glass, and she says that the glass was weak hence broke off, but inside, the picture is strong. he eyes the wounds, and she says that its okay, as they dont hurt, but what caused them did. he promises to change and turn a new leaf. they both hug. she comes in the room, and finds govardhan dressed, who says that he is going to the bank, to get smaeer’s passport. she starts fuming, and says that she wont question at all, and that she shall silently comply with this. he goes out without responding. she starts fuming and babling. rahul comes and tries to cheer her up, while asking her to bless him and wish him off, so that he has a nice day ahead. without taking tiffin, he leaves. she smiles.
In his room, niranjan is tensed as to where is rita since morning, and starts thinking unpleasant doubts. he wonders whether to call, but just then, the kids return back with rita, and their baggage. she eyes him tensedly. they ask him about the wounds, and he gives them an excuse. he gets emotional seeing them, and tries to appease rita indirectly. as they retire to the room, niranjan is relieved thinking that everything is okay, but wonders what work to start now. he later takes a stroll in the garden with govardhan talking about how he lost money in the stock market, where the market fluctuated, but maintains that now he has resolved not to do anything like that. niranjan bares out his heart, about his failure in the earlier businesses. govardhan reminds him of his incredible financial debt, while niranjan tries to talk as to how he wanted his share of the haveli, to save his failed business, but govardhan didnt relent in. his father says that this is what he still holds him responsible for. niranjan asks him to be in his shoes. he talks about his frustration as to how he saw the business blooming, and his company flourishing, while he is still at square one. govardhan asks him to move on and get over the past, as he cant dwell in it for eternity.When rahul returns back from office, the girls start playing with him, while he joins in too.
Scene
Location: Parimal’s residence
Gayatri fumes thinking that parimal spoke and went out, without bothering to hear what she had to say, so that she silently fumes. when the doorbell rings, she thinks that parimal has come back, to appease him. but instead finds uday, her son. she is pleasantly surprised. he says that he came just like that. they both comment as to how they miss each other. she starts talking about his studies and he gets tensed, and distracts her. he starts surfing through the phone, when parimal comes. she asks why so sudden. he asks uday how he came suddenly. she says that he came just like that to meet his mother. she goes to the kitchen to make his favourite dish, but finds an ingredient missing
while parimal tries to talk, uday is busy with mobile. he asks uday about college, when he deliberately avoids it. Uday talks to parimal saying that he dosnt want to pursur further studies, or go to america, as he has left college. parimal asks what he means. uday remains on his stance. parimal is enraged. uday says that he shall do something else, as he has no interest in studies. parimal reminds him his good performance. parimal says that this is what he has always wanted, as he didnt get it in his time, because of some people. uday starts blaming him for shoving his dream on his son. he says that its his dream, and not his own. Parimal hears as uday vents out his frustration, at him for the first time. Parimal tries to talk to him nicely, and then furiously too, but uday walks off, maintaining his stance. when gayatri comes, she finds the tension, and wonders why is parimal so enraged again.
In the room, gaytari talks to uday as to whats gone wrong, but he says that he wont go. she asks him to let go of his phone, and talk properly. she tries to advise him, as to how he is going on the wrong track. but uday says that nothing like that should happen. she orders him almost, but he gives an under the belt comment about her uneducated status. she exclaims as to how she didnt leave her studies but had to, due to the status of the family, and gets emotional. he says that he has taken his decision and asks her not to get in between it. she asks how is that possible. he continues to give convincing arguements, while she talks about how she had spent sleepless nights, thinking that she took the wrong decision and should have completed her studies. he smirks and taunts her that even if she had studied ahead, she would have still been a simple, housewife. enraged, she slaps him tight across his face. he is shocked and leaves.
he starts telling gayatri, that her son has gone mad, first he leaves studies, then insults her and leaves the house, and now doesnt even pick up the phone. he asks her to listen one thing clearly that if his son cant respect his mother, then he doesnt wish to keep any relation with him. she cries inconsolably and gets tensed. she points out how exactly this has happened with him and his father, and asks him to atleast respect the father. he eyes her tensedly.
Scene 3:
Location: Gharaunda
When sameer takes his passport, he explains as to how he has got an assignment in Paris, that pays handsomely, and soon he might be able to build a house there too. govardhan gets increasingly tensed.
Location: Gharaunda and Parimal’s residence
While they talk, ila gets tea for sameer and govardhan. he denies her to talk about him staying back. she gets tensed. he asks sameer about his plans further. she again asks sameer, to be open to the idea to return back, if need be. she then asks him to meet rahul first and then go. sameer complies.
Niranjan meanwhile talks to his friend, about the mess he landed in, while his friend says that he had told him so. his friend asks him not to blame himself, as everything is and shall be okay. niranjan says that he needs to start afresh. his friend asks him to deliberate nicely, and then venture into something. he hears tensedly. On the roof, niranjan talks to govardhan, about how sameer is leaving, and ila seems upset. he says that he is giving her courage, but has no clue how long he himself can hold on. niranjan begins to leave, hesitating to say, but govardhan insists and asks him to talk. niranjan says that he was right earlier in the morning, and asks what to do. govardhan talks about his interest in computer hardware, and asks him to focus on that only. niranjan wonders whether he shall survive the market competition to make himself stand. govardhan says that he shall
Gayatri talks to rita, narrating everything, while rita tells that uday is here with rahul. gaytari is relieved, as rita says that they share a common interest of video games, and are hence with each other. rita asks her not to worry, and explain everything. gayatri complies. While rahul and uday are playing video games. rahul talks to him, about his being here. uday tells him his decision. rahul is shocked. uday says tht he doesnt want to pusue academics. rahul ridicules him. uday talks about the young interpreneurial venture, that he wishes to start with his rock band, as the lead singer. rahul is shocked, and tries to talk sense. Meanwhile Rita comes and pinches his ears, for behaving like this with gayatri. sameer comes and is surpriosed to see uday too. rahul tells sameer of his decision. sameer asks whats the matter. rahul takes them all from there.
All the brothers and wives sit down to discuss uday’s case. parimal says that he has no problem his being a singer, but not at the cost of studies. uday says that his decision is set. sameer asks him to wonder that many times people take impulsive decisions that they regret later on. all the people in the family, try and convince uday to rethink his decision. uday says that he has well thought. rita says that they have experience slightly more than him, and asks him to listen atleast to parimal. uday says that he wouldnt want this as he wants parimal’s dream to materialise through him. rahul says that they wish that he gains success too. parimal says that his wish to send him to america is only because of better job oppurtunities.
Sammer asks him whats gotten into him suddenly that he talks like this. uday gets up and then apologises to gayatri, and she smiles through her tears making him sit down with herself. he sits with his head hung low. she says that she has never seen him like this earlier. he apologises yet again, but continues to maintain his stance, eyeing parimal tensedly. he points an accusation that his father is always serious and angry, and he doesnt wan t to turn into that, and hence he became introvert and shy. he talks about the way his friends used to tease him, and that he went to the hostel only to get away from him. he says that the hostel stay required him to take counselling, who found out his latent singing talent. uday tells parimal that he joined the band to be able to get away from him. all are shocked, while parimal is taken aback. gayatri is aghast.
parimal comes to him and apologises saying that he had no clue that he has such hatred, which is evident, from his discord between him and govardhan and he doesnt want to repeat that. he begs for an apology, while uday gets emotional. gayatri too talks emotionally, that atleast he could have told her. parimal extends his full support to uday and his decision, saying that they are all with him. they smile in compliance. uday is overwhelmed as he hugs gayatri.
Rita comes to find ila working tensedly in the kitchen totally lost, completely tearful. rita tells ila about how gayatri is crying there and she is crying here. rita updates that uday has joined back, and everything is fine, but that doesnt mean her crying shall keep sameer back. she continuously tries to cheer ila up, and she finally starts complying. rita amusedly asks her to stop bantering, and shows the burnt rotis that she is making, that shall cause pain to her. ila continues to fight back tears. Rita tells ila that when she gets sad like this, govardhan gets tensed and this time more so, as he feels helpless, that he cant please her, not get sameer to stay back. she begs her to wipe her tears, for his sake atleast.
at the dining table, all sit down to eat tensedly. rita and ila signal about govardhan being very silent. ila tries to cheer him up, and talks about the HAPPY DAY that rita has decided. niranjan asks her not to get trapped in his wife’s words. they start fighting yet again. ila smiles. govardhan smiles through his tension, while she says that she shall be happy tonight, at all cost. niranjan teases her. she says that she wont let anyone sleep or dream tonight. they are all boggled. she reminds that its a Sunday tomorrow and all are on leave. Ila comments as to how govardhan had decided something with her, when they came to live in this house. He says that it was then, when there would have been everyone present. rahul and niranjan are boggled. ila says that she shall call parimal, and leave sameer, as he must be busy. they all comply to her decision. the screen freezes on her tensed face.
