Our perfect place 13 April 2020: Gayatri asks ila why did he take such a decision? ila says that its because of rahul, remembering what he did earlier. just then, they hear rahul’s insistent screams asking for govardhan to come down.
<<Our perfect place 12 April 2020 update
Rahul is back home, drunk and inebriated, and cursing and taunting govardhan for having given such a beautiful honour, and he wishes to celebrate. when ila and gayatri come, he asks them to go in, and send his father instead. ila reprimands him for drinking in the day only today. gayatri tries to calm him down, saying that the children would be back soon. ila asks her not to and handles him herself. she tells him where govardhan went. rahul continues taunting about how he has ruined his life, and he has no option but to douse his grief, in this alcohol.
Ila gets angry and says that then today she shall join in too, with her son. she asks him to come along so that they can drink together, and not just them, even gayatri shall sit and drink. she places the bottle on the table, and asks gayatri to go and get 3 glasses, who is shocked. rahul gets tensed. ila asks her to get them and listen to her. sensing that she is serious, gayatri gets glasses back. rahul is too drunk and inebriated but still understand that ila made 3 glasses. she gives one to gayatri and asks her not to be scared as they shall celebrate together, since rahul wishes to celebrate. ila then asks rahul to join too.
She takes him by the hand and makes him sit, and hands him a glass. then she takes her own glass too. gayatri is apalled. ila says that he drinks because he is sad and upset, and she is upset seeing him, and gayatri is upset seeing her, hence they all should drink together. she asks gayatri to cheers it all together. gayatri raises her glass nervously, and ila cheers it, while rahul watches aghast. he is shocked as they are about to take a sip.
he rushes and takes the glasses and throws them on the table, and asks ila to stop it. she asks whats the matter. he is flustered and embarassed, wjhile ila looks him in the eye, and asks how he couldnt see them like this, and asks if he ever thought of them, as to how they must be feeling when he comes home drunk like that, and misbehaves. rahul doesnt respond and goes straight to his room. ila and gayatri are distraught. gayatri tries to compose ila, while she apologises to her. they both cry their hearts out.
In the night, niranjan tries to find out rita’s mood and when he finds that she is in a mood to sleep. he tries to impress her, but she continues to bring up the topic of the past and says that she shall not quiten down, till she is satisfied. he asks what can she do. she takes out the courier that they had received. Rita tells niranjan that this package contains maya’s number, and now she shall have to do something, that she doesnt wish to do, since he has shaken up their marriage and its identity even.
niranjan asks her to stop doubting, and she has gone mad and is ruining everything. Rita fumes and tells niranjan that tomorrow she will meet maya, and if he is proven right, then she shall apologise, and forget everything, and never doubt him again, as she wishes to start a happy married life with him, but if not, then that instant, their marriage is over, and she shall take the childrne far away from the house, right tomorrow. she turns over and sleeps. he is tensed and aghast and wonders what to do. the screen freezes on his face, as he wonders what problem sameer has landed him in.
Niranjan comes to sameer’s room and hurriedly wakes him up, saying that he needs to go and talk to rita rightaway as she is ready to screw his happiness. sameer says that he wont lie. niranjan says that he landed him in this mess, and now he shall clear it.
sameer clears yet again, that he didnt tell rita. niranjan asks him to speak for him, but he says that he wont lie. niranjan then asks why not, and when sameer is insistent, niranjan starts taunting that he doesnt want to spoil his own family, and kill his own child, and brands him his own child’s murderer. sameer gets enraged and says that he is right and he deserves punishment and shall die today.only. ila comes and is aghast to see the tension.
Sameer rushes out, and gets a knife from the kitchen. they are all aghast. Sameer goes to the roof, on a suicidal mode, while they all try and calm him down, asking what happened. he says that he has killed his child, and now he should face the same punishment for this sin. they are aghast and apalled. sameer takes a fatal leap down the roof. ila stands stunned and shocked. finally, she holds the knife, and threatens that she shall slit her wrist. sameer steps back. then the others rush to her. Asking them all to step back, she says that noone should interfere, as its between him and her. then she addresses him. she asks if he is killing himself because he couldnt save her child, then she too is undergoing the same, and should kill herself too.
she says that she cant see him committing suicide, whereas he hadnt even seen the child. she says that she doesnt deserve to live, and its good that they both die together. all are tensed and distraught. apalled, finally, sameer gets down, and starts clapping and taunting her. he says that her drama is impeccable, and asks if she would give her life for him, and why, as she never cared for him, and there isnt any comparison, as she wasnt even willing to keep him with her. she is stunned into silence. he vents out his grief yet again, asking why she gave him away to someone else. she says that she did so to save him, and kept him far away from her.
he is shocked and all others too. she breaks down, then they ask whats this new story. she says that its vwas predicted her last child would die. he asks if she believed this stupid superstition. she says that they also felt the same, but then when its one’s own child, they are forced to believe this. she reminds them all how badly sameer got hurt in the school. sameer asks if that small accident prompted her to do this. she says that it wasnt minor, and what happened that day, noone knows, from his siblings, and only they and his maternal uncle and aunt knew. they are boggled. she says that they lost sameer for some hours, and he was lifeless, and they were crying inconsolably, for not paying attention to the forecast.
the doctor says that sameer has had extensive bleeding, and he has gone into coma, and its uncertain when or whether he would wake up. rita rushes to console her saying that the danger is averted and asks her not to cry. she nudges her out of her trance state. sameer and evereyone is in tears. ila eyes him, and then says that she had promised, that if he becomes alive, she would give him for adoption to her relatives, and so she did. she then states that he did live after that, and says that she can bear his taunts, hatred and separation but cant see him dying, neither then nor now. she says that she shall always bless him, till her last breath.
he is still in a daze. she says that she knows he wouldnt understand her pain and for making her love be realised, she has to kill herself. she picks up the knife, and they are all apalled. sameer rushes to dive to her,a nd then takes the knife away and hugs her. he apologises severely, while all are relieved. rita is happy to see such a nice family reunion, as all brothers rush in to hug her.
ila comes to niranjan’s room, and after playing with the kids, she asks him to come out. he complies, though puzzled. she asks whats going on between him and sameer.he explains everything, blaming sameer for the strife in rita’s life. he tries to be pricey, when she asks him to clear the situation or else she asks rita. he asks her not to, as she is angry. he then tells exactly what rita got to know, and how he wanted sameer to merely clarify. rahul comes in asking who did what. sensing alcohol in his breath, ila covers her nose.

Ila reprimands them both and asks them to sober up and come down for breakfast, and noone shall bother sameer neither for puja, nor for the terrace incident. after she leaves, niranjan narrates everything to him. Downstairs, rita is laying the breakfast table, while gayatri and ila tensedly sit. Deliberately trying to avoid the topic, gayatri asks ila what happened. ila tells that its niranjan’s mistake, and then doesnt discuss much. rita senses the tension and says that she shall come only when everyone is at the table. she storms out.
In her room, she is crying inconsolably, while niranjan comes and asks whats the matter. she is upset and niranjan thinks that this is the right time, and comes by her side, and asks if anyone said anything to her. he tries to be all macho and supportive, while she says that she doesnt need his support. he says that he cant see her crying, and is about to go out, when rita asks him to let be, as she doesnt want anymore drama. he smirks evilly and then asks her to share at least. rita narrates how double standard they are behaving with her, ila and gayatri, and are talking hushedly while she is around. he thinks that maybe ila told everything to gayatri, and its good she stays away from them right now. he continues to instigate her against gayatri and ila too, while rita is set to thinking.
he asks her to stat away from them and not bother about them. then he holds her hand and says that she isnt right in what she is doing to him, as he loves her, and cant stay without her. he points how sameer must have been insane to talk like this, and asks how can he confront him in such a condition. he promises to sort everything out. she wipes her tears, and then niranjan smiles, and then speaks that as far as maya is concerned, but the truth is he doesnt know a thing about her and her whereabouts, nor does he wish to know. he professes his love and asks her to go to maya, if she wishes, but then she would know too. she says that he doesnt care for her, and doesnt show it even.
He points out how they dont have anytime for each other these days, and makes a plan for the evening, after they are done with the work. she smiles as he impresses her with his romantic ideas of a date. She smiles and leaves the room.
At the table, all sit to eat tensedly, while the children comment on how quiet it is. gayatri serves juice to rahul and they both eye each other awkwardly, as rahul remembers the stunt that ila had pulled. she asks him to take the glass, but he leaves hastily from there. ila watches tensedly. ila’s phone rings, and niranjan goes to receive it. he picks it up, and talks. then he hands the phone to ila, saying that its the call from sameer’s landlord, and wishes to talk to her. she asks sameer if he still wishes to go, as if he wants to, then she shall comply, but she wishes to tell him, not to go anyhow.
sameer tensedly takes the call, and informs them that he wont shift and that the deal stands cancelled. all are amused and overjoyed. when asked about who shall drop the kids, parimal asks them not to bother, as he shall drop them on his way to the office. after she leaves, gayatri talks to ila as to how govardhan would have been happy today.
Later, while niranjan works, rita comes and finds him busy on the laptop, and wishes goodbye. he reminds her of the evening plan, and she complies. she asks who shall pick up the kids. he assures that someone from the house shall go. after she leaves, niranjan smirks. rita then goes to ila’s room. she is about to leave the room, when she overhears ila and gayatri talking from a distance. Ila tells gayatri that she is extremely angry at niranjan, as he is at fault, and then explains the entire situation to gayatri. rita hears this from hiding, and is apalled and distraught, as she comes from outside. ila blames niranjan for instigating sameer so much so, and says that she is so angry at niranjan, that when rita leaves, she shall go and meet him.
as ila explains the entire situation, rita is distraught. upset by these words, she goes straight to the room, and hastily takes the courier that contains maya’s number. h asks whats the matter. she says that she doesnt trust him, as she knew why he said that but for the final truth, she shall talk to maya today. he angrily takes the courier parcel from her and shreds it into pieces. Rita tells him that she shall meet maya today anyhow. he says that he wont allow that at any cost, and throws the bits of paper at her. she is still adamant, and tells what all she went through.
He tries to grasp her hands, while she desperately tries to break free. he comes out with the phone and goes through the call logs. in the scuffle that ensues, niranjan deletes the entire call log, and then chides with her, asking her how would she manage to meet maya now. she is distraught and enraged at him, addiong that she got rhe answer she was looking for. and that she shall pick the children and take it there. gayatri and ila come out hearing the commootion. but rita tells him that she wont stay a minute with him now, and storms out, and strats packing her bags. niranjan is tensedly hearing.
She remembers the tormentous wife that she has had to become. Rita remembers everything, and breaks down, collapsing on the ground, crying bitterly and inconsolably.
