Once there was a king 27 June 2022: Rani was burning everything across the room. Raaj comes there, he gets to his feet and apologizes Rani. Rani says his was a sin. Raaj says he never knew his mother would lie to her. Rani says she also never thought about it, but still she tried to find about the truth. He attempted to murder her, and still he wasn’t ashamed and without any guilt he tried to love her. She doesn’t let him hold her hand. Raaj tells Rani he was always hurt watching her in pain. Rani clutches his collar saying they had vowed to face everything together, she trusted their companionship, their love; she was ready to accept him with his past; his mother hid the truth from him because she didn’t want to degrade his father in front of his children but what he has done.
She says she is Rani Chauhan, she is ending all her relations with him today. Raaj was left stopping Rani who burns all his memoirs then shouts at him to leave. Sunanda watches this and after Raaj has left she comes to Rani. Rani cries saying even Raaj’s love brought tears for her, she would never be able to love again.In the room, Raaj beat himself with a hunter. Chitra comes to him and stops him. She pulls the hunter off his hand and asks why he is punishing himself for her mistakes. Raaj jerks her hand away saying her lie ruined his life, his good being, his innocence and humanity died inside him when his father died, and she told him Mr. Chauhan was responsible for his death. He asks what was the mistake of the girl whose heart was broken by him, he always hurt her. Rani loved her dearly, but he could only hear Chitra’s lie.
He insists mothers are always right, he is so unlucky that she turned him into an animal. Sunanda had arrived at the door. Raaj gets to her feet and asks for her apology at any cost. He was ready to do anything but win Rani’s love again, he is ready to bear any punishment but only wants a single chance.Chitra was leaving the house, crying. Sunanda comes from behind and asks till when she would continue running away from her acts. Chitra says a mother exists with her children, her son Raaj hates her. She understands she hid the truth but she was helpless, she didn’t want her children to be shadowed by their father’s deeds. She was upset that Raaj doesn’t even want to look at her. Sunanda says there is a difference between lying and hiding the truth, even today she is doing wrong.
Chitra was ready to do anything to gain her son’s confidence again. Sunanda says Rani has been broken by love of Raaj. She was ready to give him another chance.The next morning, Rani wakes up at Raaj’s call when Raaj was shouting from the hall that she only belongs to him, and he belongs to her. She walks to the hall, Raaj says no power in the world can keep them away from each other. Rani forbids him take her name. Raaj says he is well aware Rani hates him but she isn’t the only Rani in the world, he gets aside to reveal a hen there. Rani asks how he dare name a hen after her, if she appears to be a hen. Raaj tells her that the hen herself told him she is Rani. The hen runs around, Raaj follows her. Sunanda and Chitra watch them and wish Rani forgives Raaj. Raaj was finally successful in holding the hen up and makes promises to always love her and never leave her. Rani breaks into laughter, hides it and leaves. Raaj says she is caught because she laughed.
In the room, Rani was irked and ate a lot of chocolates. Sakshi comes there and cheers watching the chocolates. Sakshi teases Rani is a hen. Rani forbids Sakshi not to tease her by hen’s name. She turns around, Rani comes running and hit Sakshi. Sakshi fell down and poses to cry. They hear Raaj calls from downstairs as he speaks to his hen that he would feed his Rani with his own hands, he loves his Rani dearly. Rani thinks she now knows what she has to do with his stupid hen.At the table, Rani announces she has cooked the breakfast for everyone. She serves the rolls. Sunanda tells Rani it is really tasty, but there was no chicken at home. Rani says there was a chicken. Sakshi announces Rani has killed the hen. Rani stops Raaj and tells Sunanda she can’t take any innocent’s life for her revenge.
Later, Chitra ran behind Sakshi to eat medicine. Raaj also tries to make Sakshi up for it. Rani brings Gulab Jaman for Sakshi. Raaj sits beside Sakshi and asks for one, Rani tells Sakshi these will end if she shares. Sunanda comes to ask Rani what this is, Rani tells Sunanda she mixed Sakshi’s medicine in the Gulab Jaman. Rani says she can’t hurt anyone like Raaj. Raaj says today he has realized atleast Rani cares for him, what’s left is to turn this care into love. Sunanda says Raaj must now follow their advice.
Rani wakes up in the middle of night due to strong winds. She finds a candle in her room. All the family was upto make Rani fearful but she wasn’t afraid, instead looks around for what was happening. Raaj thinks about doing something else.
He pushes a skull inside. Rani was fearful this time and runs outside to knock at door of Sunanda’s room. She was shocked to see a skeleton moving towards her and runs into the hall. Raaj comes from front, she fell over her. Rani straightens up and tells him there is a ghost. She wasn’t ready to go to her room anymore. He offers her to go to his room. She was ready to go to his room. Sakshi comes there and cheers that their plan worked. Rani figures out it was Raaj’s plan. Everyone had gathered, Rani shouts at Raaj for being down trodden. She says he ruined their relation himself, there can never be any relation between them. She was his bride but was never his wife. She was broken and doesn’t allow him to come close. She then goes to fetch Mangal sooter. She says she always kept it as she wanted their love to be like that of Raja and Rani, but now they have no relation and this mangal sooter doesn’t mean anything now. She runs upstairs.
Raaj watches Chitra hit herself with a stick and considers herself responsible for all his troubles. Raaj hugs Chitra and lay in her lap crying that he killed his love with his own hands. Chitra tells him not to lose hope, she says if his love is true, even Rani can’t stop it.Sunanda brings tea for Chitra. Chitra begins to speak, Sunanda says they must think about their children. Rani is really angry and they must attempt to unite them. She says she made Rani up to go to temple where their company’s construction is going on. She must sent Raaj there.
Rani comes to the temple and looks around for workers who weren’t there. She spots three men stealing the alms trunk. She shouts at them. The goons charge her with knife and wooden sticks; they then construct a wall in front of Rani enclosing her inside. There, Raaj had reached the temple. He turns to leave but his jeep cease to work because of a heavy stone. He wonders what is stopping him here, and where this stone came behind the wheels of his jeep. Rani had been struggling to open the ropes ofher hands, she was getting faint and calls Raaj for help.
Rani had successfully thrown the newly built wall. She calls Raaj. Raaj finds Rani’s earring and thinks this means Rani came here. He comes looking for her and finds her entrapped behind a wall, semi-conscious.
He brings a bucket of water and throws water over her face and tells her not to close her eyes. He says he is going to break the wall, she must get aside. He begins to hit the bricks that fall one by one, hurting Raaj’s hand to bleed. Rani fells over him. Both look towards each other and sit on the floor. Rani holds his injured hand and ties a bandage over it. Raaj asks if this is care or love. Tears fell over Rani’s eyes while she leaves silently.
In the palace, Sunanda was anxiously waiting for Raaj and Rani. Preiti was afraid about Rani’s reaction. They were all sure Rani must be very happy. Anandi prays everything between them gets well. Raaj and Rani return home. Sunanda was shocked to see them hurt. Sakti watches the blood over Rani’s hairline. Sunanda takes them inside.
Rani tells them about spotting some guys steal at the site, they charged Rani with wooden sticks and how they enclosed her within a wall that Raaj broke.
Sakshi kisses Rani’s cheek before leaving. Rani wish every pain goes this easily. She thinks about Raaj struggling to get her out. There, Chitra bandages Raaj’s house, Sunanda says they sent them to temple to get closer. Raaj was sure Rani still loves him. They hear a vase drop, Rani stood there furious. She asks if Sunanda really wants this? She asks Sunanda if she would be Raaj’s side even knowing he attempted to murder her. He is a betrayer. She questions Raaj if he is using her mother to get her. Sunanda says it was her and Chitra’s plan. Rani was upset that even Sunanda isn’t her side, she says Raaj couldn’t see her love in front of his revenge; he can go to hell and she hates him.
