Married Again 21 May 2022: Vidhi has an Argument with Pankaj again about aarti being innocent or not. He is extremely angry at vidhi for taking aarti’s side even when circumstances show otherwise.
A disturbed vidhi on her way out sees yash in the children’s room and immersed in their things. She comments to yash that if he’s missing the kids so much then he should go and get them. But yash walks off angrily saying that since baba has sent them, then only he will get them whenever he likes and walks off.
A disturbed vidhi tries to console him but in vain. While setting things in the kids’ almirah, she comes across some pictures of aarti with aman and is surprised that aarti, for whom she went against her husband, did not tell her this despite telling everything else. Just then she gets a call from Bhandari, who enquires about Yash’s condition and is told by vidhi that yash is still very upset at something that happened between them in Mumbai.
Bhanwari says that she might know what’s bothering him and that aarti did not do right with yash.On vidhi’s asking, she goes on to tell the story of something that happened a night when it was fiercely raining. Hearing the whole thing, even vidhi is convinced that aarti is to blame for Yash’s condition.
Aman explains to aarti that maybe yash is upset about what happened that rainy night. Aarti tries to defend saying that yash is not the doubting type and that he would never think about her wife like that. She goes on to further add that she didn’t even pay attention to this story as she did not find it or its consequences worth mentioning as she knew that she and aman are just friends and that she has nothing to hide.
Aman goes on to explain that yash has fallen in love with aarti and therefore has grown possessive of her and so was upset when he must have seen his beautiful wife with another man, and any normal man in such a situation would have doubted. Now that they know what’s bothering him, they should go back to his place and clear the confusion. Her mother too supports a man’s decision to clear this misunderstanding for her life, her marriage, her kids, and even for the sake of her love. But aarti is scared that if yash sees him again he would again get angry. But aman convinces her otherwise and gets her to go.
Pankaj and prateik try to cheer up yash and have some one-on-one time with him to get him to speak up with them. They arrange for drinks and make jokes about stealing it from their dad’s closet and try to engage him in the conversation. But he is lost in his thoughts.
Aarti is being convinced by aman in the car that what they are doing is right. She has doubts about the whole idea of going to yash to clear the misunderstanding. But aman holds her hand and sings her a song and cheers her up and tells her not to be scared in love. Meanwhile, Yash’s father, mother, and buaji pass by in another car. Buaji sees aman and aarti together and misinterprets their talk and tries to instigate Yash’s parents against aarti once again.
but with her pas, Yash’s father asks her to devote her mind to other stuff and not always think about trying to put aarti down. Buaji fumes within herself that aarti, her brother turns against him, but waits patiently that one day he would understand her intentions behind it.
Pankaj tries to close up to yash and goes on rambling about his own life and the way it is messed up ever since he got married and fell n love with vidhi. After going on about his marital discord, he tries to concoct the truth out of yash, behind his anger towards arti as to what happened in Mumbai. he keeps pestering. Yash walks up to go, but he emotionally blackmails him about him being the brother who would do anything to see a smile on his brother’s face. Finally sick of being pestered, he goes on to break the glass of whiskey and starts telling them about that rainy night and has flashbacks of a happy aarti enjoying the rain. He gets upset again.
Aarti reaches with aman trying to clarify Yash’s’s misunderstanding but he doesn’t care to listen to either of them and leaves to go inside. Aman too goes behind him trying to put some sense into him so that he would least listen to what they have to say. Vidhi also arrives at the scene. Pankaj and prateik leave. Vidhi confronts aarti saying how could you do this despite everything she trusted this is the way she paid everybody in the family back, by breaking their trust. When she keeps pleading innocence, she takes her to another room to prove what she is saying. She then shows the pics of aarti and aman together and tells her that she has betrayed everybody and that is exactly what yash was trying to say that day under medication. At every attempt of aarti to defend herself and aman by saying that they were just good college friends, she retaliates back saying that she has concocted all lies so far.
On one hand, profess your love for yash, on the other hand, you roam around with another man at midnight without Yash’s knowledge. That is sheer betrayal. She then goes on to say that for aarti, she went against her husband and this is what she got, aarti didn’t consider her a true elder sister and explain about that rainy night.
Aarti tries to pacify her by saying that she has a right to question her and begins telling her about the rainy night, but just then buaji and Gayatri and Yash’s father make an entrance who have been listening to the convo the whole time. Buaji as usual tries to instigate everyone against her by saying what kind of a married woman roams the night with a stranger in her husband’s absence. her eyes show her guilt and that is the reason yash is upset.
This betrayal has maddened and destroyed him. Tash’s father motions for her to stop and leave. Buaji continues with her charade and goes on to add that a stained woman like her should not be allowed the signature things about being married as she doesn’t deserve them and moves on to remove her mangalsutra when aarti stops her saying that she has no right on her mangal sutra and her character and that she is innocent and that’s the only reason aman has come along to talk to yash. Gayatri interrupts saying that she wants to know the truth before yash and demands proof from aarti to convince her that even after that night, she is pure and chaste.
Aarti goes into a flashback saying that this is what happened that day and that yash had himself met aman and was okay with her friendship with him. She remembers the day when the kids had gone horse riding with Jagan and Bhandari. she then asks him to get Bhutta for her during this rainy season. When he’s gone,aman sneaks behind aarti to surprise her but is surprised instead when yash attacks him thinking to be a stranger. Aarti then clarifies the situation and introduces aman and yash. Yash then receives a call and excuses himself to go, but aman makes a joke about not leaving his wife behind with a handsome man like him. but yash says that he trusts aarti and takes off.
Aman and aarti then chat about how this is their second marriage. Aman sees that she has fallen over for yash but to check if yash has too, he decides that he would look for jealousy in him as that’s the first sign of love, despite aarti saying otherwise. Meanwhile, yash is shown paying half his attention to the call and half looking at how aarti and Aman are chatting and having a good time from a distance. In another incident, at the dining table, he tries to talk yash into feeling jealous. yash comments once that he likes aarti in yellow. after that, he again gets a call. When he leaves, aarti reprimands him for talking too much.
But aman says he knows what he is doing. Yash then returns and aman comments that had he known that aarti was marrying a second time, he would have come back for her. yash and aarti are both surprised to hear this.AArti is drawn back to reality when she is accused by buaji of beating around the bush and told to come to the point as to what was she doing with aman at midnight.
Everyone is looking at him. yash is teased by aman by behaving as her very close friend and commenting that this time he won her over. But next time he won’t. yash and aarti are startled and they look at each other. Yash however gets a call and does not respond. Afterward, aarti reprimands Aman for overacting and making him feel bad. He says that that’s exactly his plan to make yash feel jealous and realize his love for aarti.
They then start playing table tennis with yash watching them intermittently having fun. Within the game,aman accuses aarti of cheating but yash supports aarti that she is right. Aarti is happy to hear this. Yash starts playing to make aarti win over aman as he had once played it in his past. a grueling match starts where yash hurts himself once. Arti immediately rushes to his side to see if he’s hurt. aman is amused seeing his plan working.
but then he teases yash saying that they are the modern-day Laila Majnu and that he would go to any lengths to see that arti wins, such small wounds don’t come in his way. yash finally makes her win and an overwhelmed arti touches her hand. They share an awkward romantic moment with aman pleased. The flashback finishes and aarti reminds Gayatri that she had called her to say that yash is returning to normal, is embracing life and also playing with the kids, and is happy. when Gayatri confirms, she goes on to tell that she had made a vow to herself that if she’s successful in getting yash to embrace life, she would go to a famous temple in Mumbai for blessings But her plans were hindered when yash told her that he already has plans with the kids to take them to their friends’ bday party and they would feel bad if he didn’t go with them.
he suggested aarti to go with the driver. she agreed but the car broke down midway. just then a man calls her to meet for coffee but knowing her plight offers his help, being in the neighborhood only, and takes her to the mandir in his car. But soon it starts raining heavily and the whole traffic comes to a grinding halt.
They are also caught in the traffic and reaching Andheri almost looks impossible. Also due to the full moon, the tidal waves of the sea had become very dangerous. She comes from flashbacks saying that she had no other option but to go to a man’s house to change on his insistence. buaji taunts her with that one invitation and she readily went. She goes on to ask that he must have been alone to which she replied that he has a family but they were gone that day to their relative’s marriage, so the house was empty. She changed into his sister’s clothes and they moved out to go back to Andheri. Buaji again detective says that if u left at 11 o clock and reached around 4 back in her own house, what were they doing for almost 5 hours. Arti defends herself saying that in bad weather and huge traffic, sometimes even for a half an hour journey, they take almost 3 hours.
Buaji still doesn’t give up, she says that then it must have been difficult for yash and the kids also to return home to which arti said yes, they had to wait up at his friend’s house and came back in the morning. But were so tired that they immediately fell asleep. When they woke up before arti could tell yash anything,ansh got hurt and they got busy with that. Later yash announced that they were going home that day, back to Bhopal. So arti did not get a chance to clarify about the past night. But Gayatri butts in saying that if you didn’t tell him then who did. Aman comes up behind them saying he would tell them who told. he then goes on to explain everything about yash returning to the teej festival and how Yash’s family was missing them badly. Vidhi too confirms a man’s statement by saying that he indeed is right and that they were missing yash,arti, and the kids on 10th august when it was teej. And says that after all, this could have been a misunderstanding.
Buaji reprimands her for being so naive and goes on to character assassinate their relationship by saying that they both are young, they both have needs and none of them are saints to resist such a temptation. Gayatri turns towards a man and says that though you are our guest it’s time for you to leave now. He leaves, she then turns and starts walking towards arti.
