Lies of the heart 13 April 2020: Urmi shows samrat and others a phone recording which clearly stated that Amrit professed his love for trisha, and how he had been romancing her, saying that he wants to just be with her. samrat is speechless, while amrit in the recording continues to use words of endearment like jaanu and darling for trisha. aditi breaks into tears, while amrit is shocked and stunned into silence. urmi asks if he doesnt recognise the voice too.
urmi says that trisha was silent just to save the family’s respect at the cost of her own, but she wouldnt have allowed it, as an innocent cant be placed guilty and Triosha is innocent compleetly. samrat is in a helpless rage. urmi asks him who should apologise to whom now. samrat eyes them all, as they all stand tensed. Devi asks urmi to let be, and lay down the matter. Samrat breaks into a rage saying that this person would have to apologise, pointing to Amrit, much to trisha’s and others tension.
he throws amrit in front of trisha to apologise. amrit, finding no other option, folds his hand in front of her, and apologises, while aditi breaks as he hears him say that he wronged her and asks for forgiveness. samrat is in a rage, that his plan didnt work against trisha. Saroj composes trisha. aditi rusn off from there. urmi rushes after her, while shashi and samrat are tensed.
Devi asks for being excused, while samrat’s father asks for an apology, even if they dont deserve one. Devi asks him not to talk like that, while samrat is furious at the way tables turned. devi takes saroj and trisha away, while amrit eyes her evilly. trisha turns around, while samrat is fuming with rage. Amrit stands with his head hung low. Diwaker and kanchan too disperse.
Samrat’s father comes to amrit and asks him to leave if the game is finally over, or else he would land in jail. He too leaves with shashi. samrat and amrit are left behind. He rushes to samrat, asking for an apology, saying that he did only what he was told to do.
In their room, kanchan laments at what amrit is capable of, and what a bad luck aditi has had, as a life partner. diwaker listens silently. kanchan turns around and asks if he doesnt lie to her. He gets irritated to hear such rants. he asks her to be silent.
Scene 2:
Location: On the road
samrat takes him to an isolated location, and beats the hell out of him, fot his stupid mistake, that costed him his respect in front of trisha. Amrit apologises and tries to plead innocently, while he beats the shit out of him, saying that he cant digest the fact that the person who was under his feet is now standing on his head. amrit asks for an apology and asks to be spared one last time. samrat says that now its his ego to be satiated and that he would get trisha out of this city at any cost and whatever it takes, he is willing to take the risk. amrit smiles evilly.
Scene 3:
location: Annu’s residence
Rashmi is super excited, as makahn breaks into the news that the rashmi’s pics have been selected and she has to go to Mumbai for the Ad shoot. gaurav asks her to stop this drama as she wont go anywhere. she defiantly asks why cant she go. gaurav asks her to be on the ground and not fly high. granny too assk her to listen to gaurav. rashmi says that she wont give up on her dreams, just because they dont want her to.
gaurav says that she isnt going anywhere and thats her last chance. She says that she would go. devi tries to ask her to stay in her limits and listen to gaurav. makhan asks him whats the harm in this. gaurav asks him to shut up, as he wont tolerate any more interference in their life, as he has created enough drama. makhan says that he is doing for him and his wife only. gaurav says that he should stop it now. makhan says that he is insecure of rashmi being more successful than him in life, and casts him as a typical hypocritic mentality. gaurava sks him to shut up, or else he would forget that he is his friend.
saroj calms him down, whil.e gaurav asks him to shut up, and leave right this minute. saroj says that they cant do this, as he is a guest. gaurav says that he is no more a guest, and asks him to get out right now. makahn too gets angry and says that he too doesnt want to stay here any more. He eyes rashmi and leaves to pack his bags. after he leaves, rashmi turns gaurav around, saying that Makhan is right that gaurav is insecure, and begins to reprimand him for not being able to do anything, and now that she is wanting to do something, he is jealous. Gaurav, unable to take it any longer slaps him tight. She is stunned, while others are shocked too.
Scene 4:
location: Samrat’s residence
As urmi comes after bathing, she finds samrat tensed, amnd says that she would go and get tea for him. but samrat stops her and calls her there as a request. she gets tensed, but walks to him nevertheless. He asks her to sit down. She complies. samrat apologises to urmi, saying sorry. She asks why. He says that he had thought wrong of trisha, hence. She says that its okay and she doesnt need to apologise at all. urmi is happy at samrat’s misunderstanding finally having been cleared. urmi says that trisha’s reality came in front of everyone, and most improtantly, his misunderstanding about trisha is finally cleared too, and says that she doesnt want anything else.
he says that its all because of her, and that he is very proud and impressed by her, and that her brain and commitment is incomparable, and he too doubted on her, and considered amrit to be innocent, but she saw through his charade. urmi says that trisha’s character was at stake, and hence she had to do it. samrat pleases her with dialogues that she wants to hear. urmi expresses her concern for aditi. He asks her not to take tension, as thats her botheration, and asks her to stay happy. She starts smiling. Samrat eyes her, with his own vicious plan of getting his revenge back from trisha.
While all are having a happy family banter, at the breakfast table, Samrat comes down and joines in with them too, complimenting at the breakfast spread. shashi says that its because the entire family is staying together.
aditi thanks samrat that he forgave her. samrat says that apology is a huge word, saying that it shouldnt be asked and given so easily, but advice always says that elders should forget and forgive the mistakes. aditi thanks urmi for having been able to do this. Samrat’s father too agrees that urmi made the family complete. samrat says that one thing is missing. all are confused. He excuses himself, while all begin with their breakfast. As urmi gets up, he is shocked to find amrit walking in with Samrat. All are upset to see him.
Aditi asks whats this. samrat says that the family was incomplete without him, and one part was missing, but not anymore. He tries to lighten up the mood. but aditi defiantly says that he doesnt need him anymore, and he isnt missing in her life, infact her presence is an incompleteness. samrat asks her to get rid of her marital status and its symbols altogether then. urmi asks why should she be with amrit, after what he did. samrat says that amrit repents what he did, and would apologise to everyone, and thats a huge thing for a man to do, and this should be appreciated. aditi says that she doesnt have faith on him. samrat says that he would have to, as he’s her husband and most importantly is that, he believes and approves him now, and would get to work with him, and asks aditi to let bygones be bygones.
Urmi asks samrat what kind of talk is he insinuating, as this is wrong. samrat gets into a rage as sheconfronts him yet again, but he composes himself, and manages to say in a composed tone, that this is absolutely right. His father too supports urmi, but samrat says that everyone makes mistakes, and he is only wishing well for aditi, as she has already tarnished the image once and not aga in. aditi tries to speak, but samrat says that this house has rules, and she may never have cared for it, but now she would have to, and divorces are unacceptable, and she would have to keep this marriage.
Aditi tells them all that she cant stay with amrit in this hosue, after what he did to her. samrat says that if they have to live in the society, they would have to follow the norms, and if aditi wants to stay in this house, they would have to live as a married couple, as he wont give her another chance to tarnish their image. He leaves, while all are tensed.
Scene 2:
Location: Trisha’s room
Trisha finds a message on the mirror, written in blood, a warning, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU, as she goes to freshen up in the bathroom. She is shocked and horrified, but then discards it off thinking that it must have been her friend, nisha’s prank. she comes out after freshening up. meanwhile, someone is shown to be approaching, and watching her movements from a distance. she switches off the lights and doses off. The night progresses. Later, a hand is shown to move over her face, and she gets up to find noone. she switches on the lights but finds noone. she finds the window open, and is baffled as to who it could have been. she is scared as she gazes at the open window.
Scene 3:
location: Annu’s and samrat’s residence
The next morning, devi is telling about how newsreports are there about good incidents too. All are tensed as rashmi doesnt come down to help saroj in the kitchen. saroj asks them to let be, as she was in a bad mood last night. finally gaurav arrives, with a note in his hand and collapses on the sofa. All are tensed seeing this. they all ask about rashmi and ask him why he looks so tensed. Gaurav doesnt respond. Devi notices the letter and takes it. devi reads it aloud saying that she has left the house forever, as she has done enough compromises with her life in their house, and that her life has given her a golden chance that she wont let go of at any cost, and that they shouldnt wait for her at all. they are all shocked, while gaurav sits stunned.
Scene 4:
location: Samrat’s residence
urmi gives tea to samrat and hesitatingly brings up the topic of aditi saying that he shouldnt be strict as she is traumkatised and tensed, and asks him to be concerned with her. samrat says that he isnt angry at her all the time. His father says that amrit may be here but aftre what he did, he doesnt think that he would change, and maybe this would be a wrong descision. Just then, Urmi comes down rushing and samrat is tensed for her. Urmi says that saroj just called to say that rashmi just went somewhere, and that saroj wants them come. they are all shocked too. They all get dressed to go there and leave.
Scene 5:
Location: Urmi’s residence
Rashmi’s parents are shocked that rashmi did something like this, as she has been distractyed and discarded all the traditions and rituals of marriage. shashi is tensed. She asks saroj if there was any arguement. saroj denies anything liek that. Buaji talks about her acting and modelling passion. urmi says that she wont leave the house like that for this pupose. buaji says that she’s sure that she ran away with Makhan. samrat reprimands them for keeping makhan in the home, without having done a background check, when anu is also in the house. He asks them to have atleast also kept Makhan in check, and that Rashmi is as it is a fool, and must have been distracted by him. Granny and devi agree with samrat and say that rashmi actually insulted them completely. garnny says that they kept rashmi wot
Samrat says that Gaurav is at fault, as if he had kept her in check and controlled her, she wouldnt have had the guts to ever do something like this and cause the entire family, insult and infamy. All are tensed, while gaurav sits silently. samrat says that women can never be trusted. rashmi’s mother asks for her to be found out, so that they can get her back. samrat says that its too late now, and that rashmi isnt a child, and that there’s no point now for her to come back. devi is asked by him if they would accept her back. urmi is shocked at samrat’s double standards. devi says that he wont allow her to come back. samrat says that daughter in laws, should never be made daughters and should always be kept at a distance. Urmi is shocked. urmi says that this opinion doesnt spoil the girl, and that every woman cant be generalised and that every woman should be respected and doing anything against it, is wrong for the family and the society. urmi asks samrat not to generalise all women in rashmi’s name.
Gaurav tells urmi that samrat is right, and that every woman deserve the right to be treated with love and respect and that rashmi was like one of them, and hence they dont have any relation with her, and she is dead to them.
Her parents are shocked. gaurav leaves, while urmi is distraught. Samrat reprimands her for talking like that, and raising issues of woman’s respect, when the man is facing insult due to her. All are visibly tensed, while urmi is silenced.
The next morning, saroj comes in gaurav’s room, to find him dishevelled and distraught with teary eyes. she opens the windows and doors and asks him to come out and eat, and that loneliness isnt going to solve his problems and he would pain himself more. gaurav asks what wrong did he do, that rashmi did this to him. saroj says that he isnt to be blamed at all, and asks him not to think like that. gaurav says that he left no stone unturned to find out what would make Rashmi happy, even never pointed out that she couldnt sire a son to him. He asks her how could she not think of him just once before leaving. she says that she understands his pain, but shouldnt think like that. he says that if he isnt at fault, then why rashmi left him. saroj asks him to compose himself, and not do this. he breaks down into crying incoherently.
Scene 2:
Location: Trisha’s room
The guard comes in trisha’s room, saying that a gift has come for her, and they dont know whats in it. She locks the door, and opens it to find a lifesize portrait of herself, and likes it instanslt, but then finds a button asking to Press Here, and when she does, the whole framne lits on fire. she is shocked and calls the guard. The guard says that some small child came to give this for her. She asks him to take down the name of the sender next time.
In the night, while trisha’s door is locked, an intruder manages to sneak in, while trisha is fast asleep. he comes by her bed and places his hand on hers, just slight inches away and then fake caresses her face. She gets up, and switches on the lights, scared and black ink smeared on her face, but doesnt find anyone. She wonders whats happening and if she was dreaming. she carefully locks the door back again. she sees her reflection in the mirror and is shocked to find her face, smeared with black Ink. she is horrified and distraught. she breaks down crying.
Scene 3:
location: On the road
Much to everyone’s surprise, samrat stops the car, as they drive home, midway, and assk them that they shall have lunch first. urmi wonders how can he think of food in such a state. His father too says that he isnt interested to eat. All are tensed. samrat says that the food is so good, that they can have it, and then begin to worry again. urmi says that she doesnt feel like eating at all, and that they can eat at home. samrat says that they should eat something first, as she hasnt eaten much in the last few hours. He points out that her own family didnt even serve them water. samrat says that those who have left shouldnt be mourned, and that they should eat rather. he again starts taunting her in the name of her family’s callous behaviour, saying that he knows how to take care of his wife and child, as thats his priority. shashi too agrres with samrat on this. they ll go resignedly along with samrat inside the restaurant.
