TUESDAY UPDATE ON KULFI THE SINGING STAR
Kulfi is listening to the song on ipad. Gunjan comes in and laughs looking at her, Sikander’s mum and brother also see her enjoying and dancing.
Sikander’s brother asks KUlfi is she loves to sing, he says yes, but now i can’t sing as my throat is gone bad. He tells her take rest.
Later, he tells his mum that with Kulfi coming home, the house has no more silence, his wife feels bad as she i unable to conceive. Sikander’s mum tells her elder son to understand Gunjan’s feelings and go to comfort her.
Sikander comes home, he gets a dress for lovely and Amyra, she asks if he is sorry, he says i can’t forgive that you lied, but i want you both to come to my concert tomorrow, he says i will never lie to my daughter till i am dead, she pretends to cry and says if you cannot understand our dreams, we can’t we with you, i will not come for the concert as i can’t do this any more.
Kulfi tries to clear her throat with salt water, her darane wale nanu tells her not to sing and rst, she says i have to sing, else Lovely will not take me to the concert and i have to go to meet my father there, Nanu doubts Lovely’s intentions.
Next morning, Sikander does practice for singing, his brother joins him, they have a good time singing. He thanks his brother to be there with him and tells how lucky he is.
Sikander gets ready for the concert and goes to Amayra’s room to see her and get her good luck, while her mother Lovely is busy getting her ready for the concert, she stops Sikander from meeting Amyra by making an excuse, Sikander feels bad, his mother, brother and sister in law too feel sad, that Sikander is treated like that.
Sikander is leaving for concert and Kulfi stops him for eating Dahi and sugar as a part of good luck, he recollects Nimrat and gets emotional. He is in tears as Kulfi tells him to have dahi and sugar, he tells her you have reminded me of some one. He kisses her on forehead.
Kulfi says its my big day today as i will get to meet my father today, Amaira says its my day as i will be a super star today. my father will be proud of me.
Sikander reaches the concert, media asks him about his family, he makes an excuse, Amyra and Kulfi come secretly back stage along with Kulfi at the concert venue.
Sikander gets down his car people cheering for him,media asks where is your wife and daughter,your whole family is here,any misunderstandings,Sikander says no my daughter has her exams so anyways I have to get in.
Kulfi arrives with lovely and others and they wearing scarf,amyra says stop murmuring kulfi you need to walk with attitude on red carpet,amyra trios,kulfi holds her and says forget all that walk properly.
Setu hears kulfis voice and says must be my imagination,I have to meet Sikander,and passes by kulfi unaware it’s her.setu about to get in Sikanders room,guards stop him,Sikander gets emotional and says only he can help me get my kulfi please let me in,guards push him away,kulfi watch that unaware it’s setu who is being pushed.
Lovely says kulfi stay her with mom and amyra I will be be back,kulfi starts laughing looking at rollers in amyras head,and says it looks so funny,amyra says dustbin shut up,go away and shouts,cutie says for gods sake leave us alone.
Cyrus informs lovely and minti about the arrangements,lovely says great perfect it’s what I need,cutie turns and sees kulfi missing and says oh god kulfi he is missing,amyra panics too,how will I manage my performance now,mom will kill me,cutie says I always knew this plan is high risk.
Maninder says gunjan you looking so pretty today,she says why did you buy so expensive saree,Maninder says pinki has sent this for you,with a note to my dearest aunt.dadi says I felt like I saw kulfi.maninder says she is home.
Kulfi says god this is like a fare but how will I recognise my dad amongst this,god please help,kulfi sees a guy saying please serve my boss this drink he is very famous singer,kulfi thinks he is her dad.
Lovely scolds cutie,minti says I told you lovely this is a risky song,cutie says why couldn’t you think of playback why you wanted kulfi to sing live,lovely well thanks to amyra she messed with kulfis cords,amyra says stop fighting and go look for kulfi,lovely says let’s go.
Setu about to serve singer and kulfi behind him,the program begins and host Karan addresses the audience and welcomes Sikander on stage,setu and kulfi both in tears,setu says I wish kulfi was here I could tell her look here is your dad.kulfi dashes setus hand and moves ahead,setu leaves to clean the tray.
Sikander addresses the audience,kulfi looks at the singer and says he looks so old how can he be my dad,Sikander greets a singer from the stage,kulfi says no no this aunty is wearing torn clothes and uncle didn’t even tell her,he can’t be my dad,MA told me that papa met her first time to return her dupatta.
Kulfi hides to avoid coming into spot light,Sikander thanks all the guests of honour.kulfi says he may be my dad what will I address him but and looks at the singer and says papa but he doesn’t even look at her,kulfi pulls him by shirt,he asks what do you want,kulfi asks are you my dad,he asks who sent you,how dare you talk to me this way,kulfi says my MA said my dad is a famous singer in Mumbai,kulfi thinks I made a mistake I think and says sorry and leaves.
Setu comes there and arrives and gives the singer a drink.
Sikander says I wish my daughter and wife were here with me today,setu hears that and gets emotional,Sikander says my first song to them my life,setu says he is missing nimo and kulfi how come it means he knows everything about them ,Sikander begins with his performance,kulfi in tears listening to the song,Sikander missing them while singing sing,setu in tears thinking Sikander is missing nimo and kulfi.dadi gets emotional too.
Sikander finishes his song,audience gives an standing ovation.
