Imlie 14 October 2022: Panditji asks Imlie and Aditya to light the lamp together and pray god for their togetherness forever. Adi looks at Imlie and lights lamp. They both keep lamp and pray god. Satyakam and Mithi get happy seeing this. Imlie’s friends ask her to dance with them. Mithi asks Satyakam to play drum. He hesitantly agrees and says even Adi should dance. Prakash says they shouldn’t force Adi to dance. Imlie asks if he will dance with her. He says he will dance and walk with her together. She agrees and dances with him on Ja Re Hat Natkhat. song. Adi joins her and dances with her and then plays drum for her. She happily looks at his face, leaving Prakash fuming.
Dev packs his bags. Anu asks if he packed bags for Mumbai. He says yes. She asks if he will return and go to Pagdandiya. He says he will if he finds time. She says he should find time as she will also accompany him to Pagdandiya. He thinks he cannot take her, so he is lying to her. She asks him to show his flight tickets. He says he is going by road as he meets people and gets inspiration. She says she cannot understand why he wants to travel such a long distance by road to get inspiration. He thinks his daughter/Imlie lived 19 years without her father, now he will reach Pandandiya and clear distance of many years. She asks to explain her. He says didn’t understand him since years. She asks him to drive safely and take care of himself. He walks away saying you too.
Adi sees Mithi arranging feast and asks if she prepared all the dishes. She says in village, they together share all the work. Adi thinks they love each other so much, that is why Imlie loves everyone. He asks if there is any restaurant nearby. A lady says there is one 10 km away, but guard doesn’t let them in. He says its darban and he will not stop them tommorrow. Imlie says he doesn’t have to do that. Mithi backs her. Adi says they gave him so much happiness and now its his turn. Imlie thanks god for giving her so much happiness in 1 day.
Anu asks Daadi if she doesn’t feel weird hearing Dev traveling alone by road. Daadi thinks Devi is going to meet his daughter and correct his mistake. Malini walks in. Daadi happily hugs her. Anu asks if Tripathi’s did something and send her out of house. Malini says they tried to stop her, but she came to spend some time with them. Anu asks why did she bring so many bags, she would have sent car for her. Rupal with Nishant enters and says if she had sent car, they wouldn’t have got a chance to drop Malini bhabhi. Nishnat suggests Anu to have some patience before judging Tripathis. Anu says she judges them very well and can see how her daughter is waiting for Adi and his behavior towards her.
Adi asks Satyakam if hotel would be safe for him. Satyakam says he need not worry as he will make arrangements. Adi then asks Imlie if she is planning something in Pagdandiya style. Imlie requests him not to do all this, he stayed just for 1 day on her request and called her family as his, she will be habituated to him if he does all this; she reminds his promise to Malini and asks to think about Malini and not her. Adi says he will think about himself, she should think about tonight dinner and invite whoever she wants to. Prakash hears their conversation.
Rupal tells Anu that she knows how it feels being ignored and value Malini more than Adi, so they will not leave her alone. Anu says she knows how great their family is, they need not worry as Malini will be taken care of very well here. Light goes off. Nishant taunts her. She angrily asks servant to start generator and he says its best is broken and will be repaired by tomorrow. Rupal tells Malini that Adi will come directly to her after returning to Delhi. Anu hugs her, asks to take care, drive safe, and message her once they reach home. Once they leave, Anu says Nishant himself stayed away from home for 10 years, then how can he be so sure that Adi will return home. Dadi asks her to speak good, where will Adi go instead of returning to Malini. Anu says they cannot trust Tripathis and reminds Malini to know where her husband goes.
Malini asks if she knows where papa goes. Anu reminisces Dev saying he is going to Mumbai by road.Mithi informs Imlie that she needs to sit near lamp whole night and then pray in the morning. Imlie asks them to go as she will stay near lamp whole night. Prakash says he will be with Imlie. Imlie says they will play game whole night. Adi says he will stay with Imlie and insists. Imlie thinks why Adi is acting as caring for her. Adi thinks he didn’t accept Imlie as his wife earlier, but now what is he doing. Everyone walk away leaving Imlie and Adi.
Malini tells Dadi that she never faced such situation with Adi before and is hurt with Adi lying to her, he never was like this before her and she doesn’t know if its right to get angry on him. Dadi says she must be knowing that her dadaji died in an accident, but doesn’t know that they fought 2 days ago and wasn’t speaking to him and then he passed away without speaking to her. She suggests her to clear her differences with Adi and reconcile with him once he returns. Malini agrees and thinks why she is angry on him and cannot stay away from him.
Aparna imagines Imlie and cries missing her. She gets more sad missing Malini. Pankaj asks what happened. Aparna says she is missing children and hopes something wrong will happen. Pankaj consoles her saying just like birds even children will fly away and will return home soon, she performed her duty of a mother and a MIL and shouldn’t feel sad.Mithi tells Satyakam that she got happy seeing Adi staying back with Imlie. Satyakam says she is right. Prakash says its Adi’s duty and she need not praise him. Dulari enters and yells that Adi doesn’t love Imlie and they both are just acting, their lamp will blow off as god will not support them.
Satyakam warns her, but when she yells at Mith, he raises hand. Mithi stops her and after a long confrontation says lamp will never blow off. Dulari decides to blow it off.Adi feels drowsy while protecting lamp with Imlie. Imlie asks him to go and rest at home. He says panditji informed to support his wife and he is staying here for her. Their discussion continues. He asks her to return to Delhi with him. She says will not return to Delhi and they can’t think logically always, she thinks trust and belief is everything, she trusts on this mannat and god and believes lamp will protect him from danger; he called her his wife and that matters to her the most; he should return to Malini and fulfill his promise; she doesn’t need anything from him, etc., and goes to get water asking him to protect the lamp as its a symbol of their relationship. Dulari watches them hiding.
Malini holding his and Adi’s wedding reminisces Pankaj and Aparna’s advice on relationship and thinks papa is right that she has also good memories along with bad with this wedding. Adi on the other side thinks he doesn’t believe in mannat and should have same feeling for Imlie like before. He shields lamp and goes to search Imlie. Dulari silently flips off lamp and hides. Adi notices lamp thread on floor and picks it in his hand. Imlie notices Dulari hiding and Adi protecting lamp thread in his hand. Imlie requests Adi to drop off thread as there is no logic in it. Adi says he is just protecting her trust. She pleads him again to drop the thread and think if Adi is doing it for her and brings another lamp. Malini notices wedding photo frame catching fire due to candle nearby and tries to set off fire with her bare hands. Daadi and Mithi rush to her and stop her saying photo is completely burnt and cannot be saved.
Malini asks who will decide that its irrepairable, she cannot let it burn completely. Anu realizing her fear thinks she will not leave her in pain and will have to speak to Adi’s family. Imlie applies mud on Adi’s wound. He says it will get injected. She says it will protect his wound and goes to protect lamp. Adi sits thinking why he is so worried about Imlie. Malini continues crying and tells Dadi that she could save photo. Daadi says Malini is right that things can be bought again and not relationships, so they need to protect relationships.
Next morning, Dulari wakes up and panics seeing lamps under her feet. She shouts for help. Imlie asks what was he doing in temple last night. Dulari acts as crying. Imlie says she will not fall for her fake tears and says because of her, Adi’s hand is severely burnt. Dulari yells at her and calls Imlie for help. Imlie rushes to Dulari. Imlie informs what Dulari did last night. Adi enters and says she should respect Dulari’s age and not trouble her. Mithi informs Imlie that her lamp lit for long and it means their relationship will be very long. Imlie gets happy hearing that.
