I’m on the edge 25 September 2022: All family members are in lounge, Maasa says how we will prove that Devika and Varun are made for each other? Urmi says Devika is destroying everything. Maasa says I am just praying that when Naina brings lawyer then everything goes fine. Suddenly lights go off. Devika comes there with wine bottle, she acts drunk is and stumbling, she comes in house. All are confused, Devika breaks bottle. Maasa asks what she is doing? She asks Jaggu to lock Naina in her room so she cant see this drama. Jaggu leaves. Devika starts seductively dancing. Alek comes there. Devika dances around him. All are shocked. Alek closely dances with Devika, Devika thinks bring proof soon.
Varun comes to Alek’s room, he says your boss complained for work so I am here, guard stops him and says he is not here, get lost.Varun’s mom turns to leave, Alek whispers to Devika that stop everyone, I want everyone to see how I am enjoying with you, Devika stops mom, Alek dances with her.Varun jumps in Alek’s room from behind, Varun comes to Jiya who is tied to chair, Varun says I knew you were here, lets go. He frees Jiya and runs with her. Gaurds hear some noise. Varun and Jiya are running from house.Devika dances and falls in Alek’s arms. Lajjo slaps her and says you should be ashamed, all leave. Urmi says to Devika that I didnt see such shamelessness, you married one and are falling in someone else’s arms, I have to tell this to Naina, Devika says no dont tell her, Urmi says why not? she should know what you are doing. She leaves. Devika prays for Varun to come soon.
Alek’s guards stop Varun and Jiya. Varun asks her to leave, she runs away, he starts fighting with goons. One goon points gun at Varun but Jiya beats him and runs with Varun but goon shoots Varun.Urmi comes to Naina’s room but Maasa pulls her back and slaps her, she says I wont let you destroy my plan, I will cut your head, leave, she leaves. Maasa says to Jaggu that we have to do something, we have to stop hurdles coming in my dream. Jaggu says didnt you see Devika cheaply dancing with Alek? Maasa says I think Alek is behind that, I have to do something.
Scene 2
Devika is leaving, Alek asks where are you going? you think your hero will save you? you thought you both will play game with me and I wont know about it? I know everything. Devika says great, will you go to jail with me? you should know that video is removed from everywhere, you cant blackmail me now. Alek says I love to blackmail girls, I have another plan, he whispers something to her and says its the truth, I promise, Devika is disgusted. Alek says you have two ways, either come with me to enjoy a night or let Varun die, you have 5 minutes to think, once you listen to me then everything will be fine, he breaks her mangalsutra. Dhani sees all that, she is about to go to them but Kesar stops her.
Dhani says that Alek wants to hurt Varun. Kesar says you know Alek is not a nice person, dont mess with him for Varun, I wont let you go anywhere. Alek leaves from there. Devika sees her broken mangalsutra and cries.In morning, Varun and Jiya are in jungle, Varun is injured with bullet touched his arm, Jiya says Alek’s men must be searching for us. Varun says nothing will happen, we have to save Devika. Varun gets Devika’ message and says she has called us to a place, we have to go.Varun and Jiya waits for Devika. Devika comes there. Varun says see Jiya is here, she will bring Alek’s truth out and I removed videos from Alek’s PC, now our troubles will be solves. He hugs her but feels something, he moves away to see her pointing gun at him, he is shocked.
Jiya says what are you doing Devika? Varun asks her why she is doing it? Alek comes there and claps, he asks Jiya if his baby is fine? I will deal with you later. He says to Varun that I love seeing all this, I have written a nice scene. Alek records video and says today’s happening news, a lover killed her partner. Varun asks Devika why you are doing this? we have won, Alek wont be able to blackmail us, dont do it. Alek laughs evilly.Devika shoots Varun, he falls from cliff and dies. Maasa comes there and is shocked. Devika cries and says to Alek that I killed Varun, please leave my parents and Varun’s mom now.
Maasa says what this animal kidnapped them? Alek says I wont leave them. ,, Alek says you must have pain in your heart. Inspector comes there and says Alek you will feel pain now when you go to jail. Alek says good you are here, this Devika killed her husband. ,, Varun says this is the love story where hero saves heroine and send villain to jail, he asks Devika to look around. Devika sees Lajjo, her father, Varun’s mom coming out of police van, Devika runs to them and hug them. Inspector arrests Alek, Jiya slaps him and says this is the slap from all women whom you think are weak. Alek says to Devika that you should have killed me, I wont let you both live peacefully now. Varun comes infront of him and says you have to face me first if you try to go to Devika, now think in jail why you cast evil eye on Devika. Inspector takes Alek away.
Devika pulls Varun and says you are my real hero and I promise I will always be with you, Varun asks why are you crying? she says they are happy tears. Varun hugs her. ,,Devika and Varun comes home. Maasa says this time we will do teej pooja grandly because animal Alek lost and this husband and wife won. Dhani is hurt seeing them together. ,,Naina says you people said that Alek is Devika’s husband but in reality he was the person whom Devika was to marry, you people lied and cheated me? forget about getting property money now, all look on. Naina says just see what I do now, you all cheated me, this Varun and Devika.. both kept lying to me, this proved one thing that they both are made for each other, she makes them hold hands, all are surprised. Varun smiles at Devika. Naina says ,,
Naina says yes, she signs papers and says my work is done. Lawyer asks Devika if she has bank account? she says no I never needed it. Lawyer says its okay, he asks her to sign on papers, she does. Lawyer says you account will be opened in 10 days and you will get money. Naina wishes them happy married life and leaves with lawyer. Maasa thanks God, ,,Dhani says to Kesar that Varun will be mine in 10 days, Devika promised me that as soon as they get money, she will give Varun to me. ,,Devika lies in bed while Varun lies on floor shirtless. Varun is silently weeping and looks Devika. Devika turns to look at him but he turns away. Bolna plays, Devika worriedly looks at him. Varun thinks that not only 10 but even after 10 births, we will remain together.
Devika sadly looks at him, they both try to sleep but imagine themselves in other world. They imagine dancing together, they romantically dances on Ae dil hai mushkil.. they share their pain and togetherness through dance.. imagination ends. Varun thinks that 10 days later we wont separate but we will become one, I promise you will accept my love.all are preparing for pooja. Lajjo says today is teej and wives keep fast for husbands. Varun thinks she kept fast for me? Varun sees Devika going for pooja. He stops her and says lets go outside, we will have an ice-cream, you like it right? Devika says no today I have.. no I dont want to eat, she leaves. Varun smiles. Jaggu says I got tickets of going to farm house, we all can go.
Maasa says we all family members will go today. Varun thinks only me and Devika will be left, I will profess my love in special way today.Urmi calls her partner and says our plan failed but I have to go with them. Maasa comes there. Urmi says I am ready. Maasa asks where are others? all come there. Maasa says where is Varun and Devika? did they get ready? they comes there. Varun thinks I have to start my acting now. Varun acts like he has headache and faints, all rush to him. Devika sprinkles water on his face. Varun wakes up and says I cant go, mom says I can stay with you. Devika says I will take care of him, Varun asks his mom to leave, Devika is here, she will take care of me. Maasa whispers to mom that let them stay alone, all family members leave.
Varun sits up. Devika says you were acting? he says yes and says you kept fast for me so I had to do this, I want to tell you something, you get ready, we will meet in restaurant, we will break fast together. She says you kept fast too? he says yes and says if you come there then I will think you have accepted me, I will wait for you, he leaves.Devika is getting ready in her room for date with Varun, sawar loon plays. Devika is about to put sindoor on her forehead but dhani stops her and says you remember your promise? Devika recalls how she promised that when they get money then she will give Varun to her, Dhani says you promised to give your husband to me, fulfill your promise, move away from my and Varun’s path.
Devika says Varun doesnt love you. Dhani says if you leave him then he will start loving me. Dhani says to Devika that if you go and meet Varun today then I will jump from roof and die, I promise you that and I wont break it like you and you will be responsible for my death, only you, she leaves. Devika is in trauma and says how can I give Varun’s hand in Dhani’s hand when I have started loving him?Varun is waiting for Devika in hotel. Waiter brings his cake. He sees a woman coming in saree there, he says I knew you would come.. he is stunned to see its Dhani, he asks why are you here? she says Devika sent me here, Devika promised me on your marriage that when she gets money then she will leave you, and you were just a way for her to get money, she got her money so game finished, it was not a marriage for her, see she got me ready to come here. Varun is hurt and shocked.
Devika is sadly sitting in her room. She looks at moon, she says Varun loves me, he loves only me and I love Varun. She says if we cant break our fast together then we can break it looking at moon. She is about to break her fast but door bell rings, she smiles and says it must be Varun. She opens house door and sees a clown there? she says Varun? what is this? I know you love to act but you are scaring me, I want to talk to you, come inside. Clown says how are you Devika? aarti plate falls from Devika’s hand, she gets scared and asks who are you? He laughs hysterically and takes off his mask, its Alek. Devika stumbles back and falls down. Alek says aww aarti plate slipped from you? you kept a fast? for me? lets break your fast with my hands, he asks her to eat from his hands, she moves her face away, he says okay I will eat, he eats her kheer and says I loved it, he says what you thought that you can send me to jail and I will rot there? Alek says my sister is a commissioner, she transferred to this city and brought me out of jail. Alek tries to come near her, she pushes him away and runs away.
Varun says to Dhani that I tried to make her see my love but she still cheated me, I hate her, he breaks glass in his hands. Dhani sees his hand bleeding and goes to bring ice. Varun thinks that Dhani said a few words and you believed her? you are drinking yourself here while you talk about love of lives, go and talk to her, ask for answers from her, come to senses and go to her. Dhani comes there and says let me ice it. Varun avoids her and leaves.
Devika is running away from Alek, he says run as much as you want but you cant. Devika hides from Alek. Varun comes home. Devika doesnt see him and keeps hiding.
