Sagar asks Mr. Sheikh why he was fired from his company even after working with the company for 6 years. You stole money; you were careless; you were rude with your co-workers; company had complaints with him too. You are taking revenge, right? You agreed to be a false witness. Mr. Sheikh is all quiet. Company was scared you could tell their truth when you left job. This is why company put all the false blames on you? Mr. Sheikh nods. Palash and Ganga are confused and so is Niru. Sagar is supporting Palash. Sagar will lose case this way. Sagar ends his argument and sits down. Palash presents more witnesses while Sagar is all quiet. Everyone is confused at his behaviour. Palash finally presents a CD carrying the statement of all the people whose life was affected in some way because of Rantox. Malhotra tells
Sagar to object. This CD should not go in the hands of court. Sagar tells him to not pester him all the time what is to be done. He does not object when judge asks Sagar if he is ok with it. Sagar says we are often confused if to use CDs or phone recordings or not. Some lawyers save culprits this way. As a lawyer, we want to win every case but we should remember that oath always. We might have to lose some case to get someone justice. What can be better than taking care of your oath? I hope I and my colleagues will follow it in future too. Judge gives decision against Rantox. Malhotra and his allies get arrested. Ganga, Sagar and Palash look happy. Malhotra questions Sagar what he did. You had all the proofs yet you kept quiet. I will finish you! Constable takes him away.
Ganga congratulates Palash. I was sure you would get those people justice. Palash asks Sagar why he dint object when he had too many chances. Sagar replies maybe he dint have as much solid proof as it was needed. Congrats! You won this case but it wont happen next time. They say good luck to each other.
Ratan asks for Yash. Prabha says he must be outside. He reminds her that Yash can eb caught this way. People have started to say that they see someone like Yash roaming around. You and Yash don’t understand anything. The case has been reopened. If Yash is caught now then he will go in jail for a longer term. She thinks to call Yash when he enters wearing Ratan’s helmet. Someone knocks on the door just then. Ratan takes Yash’s jacket. Yash hides. Prabha opens door. It is police. He demands to know who drove the scooter just now. Ratan comes there wearing Yash’s jacket. Inspector looks at him. You wore jeans then. Ratan says I wear pants only. You might be mistaken. Police leaves. Prabha heaves a sigh of relief. Ratan opens the cupboard to free Yash. It is all because of your carelessness. It will be impossible to be saved next time if they come with search warrant. Prabha advises Yash to go somewhere else for some time. Ratan is irked again. I too cannot go anywhere because of him. It is all because of his acts. Do something about Yash or I only will turn him in some day. Yash thinks his life is so boring now. Plus I am out of money. I have to go to my ATM (Janvi).
Niru questions Sagar as to why he dint do anything. Why? Sagar reasons justice is more important than anything else. I was only doing that. I was supporting wrong people from the beginning. I got to know the truth in time. I had everything ready. I could win this case easily but my victory would have meant defeat for justice, and your ideals. I could not let it happen. I did the right thing, right?
Ganga says you are mistaken but Palash is sure Sagar lost the case intentionally. Ganga says I know Sagar since childhood. He never thinks of anyone else. He loves his victory more than anything else. He is too childish.
Niru is proud of Sagar. I feel you have finally grown up. You did the right thing. One needs to have a big heart, sensibility for the same. Not everyone can accept themselves as wrong. You have actually won today. You proved it that you are a better lawyer than me. Malhotra calls Sagar a cheater. You are a loser! I trusted you on your FIL’s insistence and your father’s fame. I realise now it was my biggest mistake. Your father could not do anything in life and made you like him only! Sagar warns him not to say anything against my father. You are wrong here. You are right. I lost this case intentionally as I got to know your truth. I witnessed it when your goons attacked Palash. I was attacked too. I only took Palash to hospital so criminals like you can be punished. You were selling poison in the name of medicines. You lied to me. You tried to fool me. Papa says justice happens. Justice will happen now. He sends him away while Malhotra vows to take revenge. Niru tells Sagar he is proud of him. Palash and Ganga have heard everything. I told you Sagar lost this case as he wanted to, so we could win. Niru goes to attend a hearing.
Palash walks up to Sagar. I am happy to know you respect law as much as your father does. You have got it from your father after all. Thank you for yesterday for saving my life. Sagar says it is ok. I did what was right. He looks at Ganga. Palash follows his gaze. Ganga leaves from there. Palash says your words hurt her a lot yesterday. You should apologize to her. She is your childhood friend after all. Go for it.
Ganga realises how Sagar gave his victory to Palash Sir. Sagar did all this to help the poor get justice? He dint let anyone know he got to know the truth! She recalls how Sagar had done the same thing when Ganga’s FIL had come to take her. Sagar helped me like always and dint even show how much he worries for me. He did the same thing today. Sagar says Ganga. She wipes her tears before turning to look at him. He profusely apologizes to her. She thinks of their childhood. He requests her to say something. She thinks of how he doubted her yesterday. He says sorry to her again. She takes her cycle and begins to leave. He requests her to do something. I am accepting my mistake. Punish me if you have to. She says you do this always. You make mistakes and say sorry. You lost this case so my heart melts and I forgive you? He says you are mistaken but she does not let him talk. I wont be able to forget what you said yesterday. You doubted on my character and my relation with Palash Sir. I will never be able to forgive you for the same. Words said cannot be undone. I cannot forget what you said yesterday so I will not be able to forgive you ever! She goes.
Palash tells Sagar to give some time to Ganga. Let us have tea in my house. My mother will be happy to meet another person like me. Sagar tries to divert to some other time but Palash insists. You were so angry last time you came to my house. I dint get a chance to do anything. Sagar apologizes to him. I don’t know what happened to me. Palash tells him to relax.
It was my mistake too. I thought you were favouring your cousin. I am taking back the case against Yash. It is your right to fight that case. Get Yash arrested and help Ganga get justice. Sagar nods happily.
Palash’s mom makes tea for Palash and Sagar. Sagar says Ganga can never forgive me as I have hurt her self-respect. She can never bear it. Ganga comes there. She asks Palash if he called her here. Palash nods. Palash’s mom is happy to see her. I am happy to know you won the case. Ganga turns to go but Palash’s mom asks her to have tea with them. She asks Ganga how much sugar she needs. Ganga replies. She also tells her how much sugar Sagar will take. Palash’s mom is surprised. Palash shares that Ganga and Sagar are childhood friends. They know each other well. Palash’s mom speaks of old movie Dostana in which both the heroes loved heroine. Palash dismisses the topic. Palash’s mom asks Ganga to help her in kitchen but Palash goes with her.
Ganga and Sagar look at each other. He tries to say something to her but she stays put. I don’t want to hear anything. Don’t create a scene here at someone else’s house. Palash’s mom comes there to take teacups. Sagar tells Ganga he did say wrong about her that day but he can never even think of that in anger. She says you cannot think but can do it. He insists he was angry. She counts all the things that he did when he was angry like marrying her, then breaking it off, breaking ties with his family and then marrying again and more! You very easily put it all off on your anger. You don’t realise what other person has to go through because of your anger! Palash and his mom join them. They all sit down to have tea. Ganga leaves as soon as she finishes tea. Palash’s mother asks Sagar if there is someone in Ganga’s life. Sagar is uneasy. I don’t think so. As far as I know her there is no one. She says I want a girl like Ganga for my son. I don’t know if Palash like Ganga but I want him to like her. She is a very good girl. Sagar is shocked but smiles for her sake. There can be no one like Ganga!
Palash talks to Ganga while walking. She suggests him to do it later. Your friend is upstairs. Palash has full faith in his mother. She will keep him entertained. Ganga keeps walking even when Palash bends down to tie his shoelace. He notices a bike coming towards her. Sagar too has come down by now. He saves Ganga in time. The biker splashes mud on them. Sagar too was rushing to save Ganga but stops. Palash scolds the guy. He threatens to take the guy to police station but Ganga lets him go. Palash says such people should not be let off. You think that guy will realise his mistake after your scolding? Are you alright? She nods. They resume walking. Sagar is all lost thinking about Ganga and Palash; of his mother’s words and of Palash saving Ganga. He is all tensed.
Ganga is drying her saree when she finds Sagar standing there. She acts to ignore him. He walks up to her and moves the saree aside. She tries to go when he holds the other end of her saree. She tells him to let go. He says I have always made up for my mistakes like this only. She frees her saree herself. He says I dint come to apologize. I came to talk about something else. She replies that there is nothing to be said between them. He points out that it is about her and Palash. He is very much concerned for you.
He saved you at home and on road too. Maybe he cares more for you than me. I see it clearly in his eyes. She clears it to him that Palash is only her Sir. You are mistaken. She is about to go when he asks her to wait. I feel guilty when I see you. Your life is ruined because of me so I want to! She says you are busy in matchmaking now. You think all this is a game? You said you don’t love me but someone else so you married her. Later, you came to me and said that you made a mistake. Can we not start again! Now you tell me to allow someone else to come in my life. Have you ever thought of what I feel? You want to become great by doing all this, right? He reminds her she was doing the same when she asked him to go to Janvi. Where am I wrong when I am doing something for you? What’s the difference? She reasons that Janvi is his wife. Palash Sir is only my Sir, nothing more. He only wants her to forget her past. She knows he could not do so then why he expects it from her. I will take the decisions of my life. You have no right to direct my life! She walks away.
Yash gives injection to Janvi. She is all drowsy afterwards. Yash happily takes the bundle of money and leaves. Janvi finds Ganga standing there (in widow avatar). What are you doing here? Leave. Ganga replies she never left. She was always here in this room, in Sagar’s eyes, his heart beats; this room’s every little thing. Janvi sits up telling her to shut up. Ganga laughs at her. Janvi sees too many Ganga’s around her. She shouts at them to stop. Go away, Ganga! She covers her ears the voice is drowned for a second. Ganga says poor you. You wanted to defeat me? Janvi angrily throws a vase at the mirror thereby breaking it. She breaks down.
Maharaj ji has cleaned the mess in Janvi’s room. Mehri thinks this is the third time the mirror is broken. What’s her enmity with mirror? Amma ji too is tensed. Mehri says maybe she saw her true face in mirror. Madhvi sends her outside to throw the mirror. Amma tells Madhvi Mehri has a point though. Don’t know what’s in Janvi’s heart. She never comes out of her room. She is always in her room and sleeping. Don’t know what new problem will come in this house.
Janvi is in Ganga’s room. She has lit incense. Ganga asks her what she is doing. Janvi replies she is shooing Ganga’s ghost away. Ganga says what you are doing. Janvi says she stays in the room always. She does not let Sagar come to me. She has done some black magic on Sagar. I try so much but I always lose out to her. She points at a corner of the room. This widow Ganga is very jealous of me, my clothes, my mangalsutra. She cannot see me happy.
Janvi stands in a corner and shouts at Ganga’s ghost to go away. She is all hysterical. She broke my mangalsutra. She breaks something every time she comes. Sometimes it is my relation with Sagar while sometimes it whereas sometimes it is my mangalsutra. Ganga tells her to calm down. Everything will be fine. Janvi says these pearl hurt a lot. I try so much but I cannot hold them. I have lost everything. The pearls of mangalsutra broke apart too. Everything is over! Ganga cries seeing her condition.
Next morning, Mehri complains to Maharaj ji how Pulkit asked her to work at Palash’s house too. Maharaj ji acts disinterested. Amma ji calls out for maharaj ji as she returns from snan. She tells him to wake up Sagar. He sleeps in Niru’s office these days. Ganga paces upstairs worriedly. Amma ji too
talks against Ganga. She is always around. How will Sagar settle down in his life this way? Ganga recalls Janvi’s words.
Maharaj ji wakes up Sagar. Sagar sees Supriya coming back home. She is picking up all her bags by herself when he goes to help her. She tells him against it but he says the distances are between papa and Bhaiya. You are and will always be my bhabhi. She says you too are the same Devar (brother-in-law) for me. I think of you as my younger brother and friend. Not just you but everyone is my own. She gives him a box of sweets to take home. He nods. She asks him if he is fine. He lies. I am perfectly fine. She catches his lie. What happened? Tell me.
Ganga notices little kids running around happily holding their kites. She remembers the childhood times when Sagar and she used to do the same. Supriya comes there with Sagar and calls out for Ganga. Ganga asks Supriya how everyone at her home is. Supriya replies everything is fine there but nothing is fine here. Sagar wants to say sorry to you. He regrets it deeply. He is apologising from his heart. Why don’t you forgive him? Ganga refuses to talk on the matter but Supriya tells them to sort out the matter by talking like mature people. How will it work if you both will stay quiet? She asks Sagar to say what he told her. Sagar is really sorry. He can do anything for the same. Ganga tells him to end all his differences with Janvi.
Give her the love she is yearning for. Janvi is your wife. Take it as a condition or anything. I will forgive Sagar only when he will accept Janvi as his wife. Ask him when was the last time he spoke nicely to Janvi? Will he do as I say? Will he be able to give a husband’s love to Janvi? I knew he wont be able to do it. He only speaks but cannot go anything. She turns to go when he stops her. I accept it if this is your condition but I too have one. Supriya is taken aback. Sagar tells her not to say anything. He walks up to Ganga. If I accept Janvi as my wife; agree to give her a husband’s love, will you agree for marriage then? Will you start a new life? Ganga gets tensed but agrees for it. I accept your condition. But first you will have to prove yourself a good husband for Janvi. I will think then. He agrees to fulfil her condition. Don’t forget mine! He leaves from there.
Supriya questions Ganga. What is this bet? How will you forget the one who is in your soul? Ganga says I lied to Sagar for the first time today. I cannot think of anyone else other than him. She leaves from there teary eyed.
Sagar finds Janvi fast asleep in their room. He feels something suspicious seeing the way she is sleeping. He keeps her head on the pillow when she gets up startled. Don’t touch me! He tells her to relax but she is all hysterical. You are in her team only. You both want to destroy me! He tries to talk to her but she pushes him away. You have also come here to torture me like her. She keeps coming in my dreams always. He asks her who she is talking about. She takes Ganga’s name. She is everywhere. I can smell her from you, from your heart. I know how much you love her. I know everything! She will not go anywhere. She has snatched everything from me! He is taken aback to see her condition. I never realised Janvi is in this condition. I never tried to understand her pain.
