Gangaa 21 December 2019: Ganga accepts the gift and steps her foot inside the house. pulkit watches tensedly. she complies in a daze, as sagar watches overwhelmed and then eyes the room decorated around, with the shagun thali in her hands. sagar and krishna are ecstatic. she turns back and eyes them both tensedly.
Krishna is overjoyed and rushes with ganga inside and shows her the room that sagar himself decorated. meanwhile, sagar gets niru’s call, who is informed about zoya’s behaviour and how she did what she did. he apologises to niru for givinng him this info. niru hears tensedly. sagar asks niru to come back from del soon. Meanwhile, krishna asks ganga why is she tensed. ganga asks if she doesnt miss her house, and her room and her toys. krishna says that she does.
Ganga asks krishna if anyone asks which house, this or hers, is the one that she likes best. krishna says that both the houses are good, and cant she have the best things from both the houses, like her father from her and her mother from there. Sagar who has returned back, hears tensedly. ganga changes the topic, and asks krishna to freshen up, whil she gets ready to sleep too. krishna complies and leaves.
MEanwhile, niru is apalled to know the truth about zoya and how seven years back, what problem she created. he wonders what he did and why couldnt he understand zoya and her motives. he then calls up the travel agent for a flight ticket to Varanasi.
In her room, supriya fumes at the importance that ganga, krishna and sagar are being given over juhi, and that all are paying attention to krishna, totally ignoring juhi. pulkit tries to make her understand that ganga and sagar have always been a part of this house, and its just that she has returned after a long time with her daughter. but Surpiya is still fuming, that juhi isnt given her own room, and neither was she made to sit where she wanted to at the puja.
she cites that this is just the beginning, and they dont matter as is it, and now that they are here, they would be furthermore neglected. she says that if anyone ignores them, then she shall ask juhi not to befriend krishna. he tries to make her understand that its wrong, and they shouldnt bring in children in adults’ fight. she says that when there are such discriminations, then there isnt any need for friendship. he is tensed.
MEanwhile, krishna finds juhi, busy drawing, and tries to strike a coversation with her, trying to befriend her. they both comply. krishna invites her to the room, narrating all the attractive things that she has. juhi complies, but says that right now, she has to go to her mother, but would come later. krishna bids goodnight, asking her to come tomorrow. she complies and leaves.
LAter in the night, ganga is preparing the bed, when she reminiesces the romantic time that they had spent earlier in the room. she is apalled and in tears. sagar comes in and hands her the pillows. they both eye each other tensedly. krishna comes and says that she shall sleep here itself, and asks her for a story. Sagar is about to go, when krishna asks him to stay back, as she wont get sleep otherwise. sagar and ganga eye each other tensedly. they, he complies, and she sings her a lullaby, while he watches her. she finally doses off, and places their hands in each other’s. they both feel awkward.
then she stealthily takes her hand away and gives krishna’s hand in his. she walks out. he too gently places her hand on the bed, and walks out after her. he catches up with her in the corridor, and pins her against the wall. they both have an awkward yet a romantic eyelock. he holds her, while she asks to let go. he asks if she doesnt even like him touching her, and asks her to look in his eyes, and see his pain and torment. she asks him to let go. he asks how can she see everything, but doesnt wish to register. he asks her for a response, if she is least affected.
she denies. he asks her to speak angrily. she jerks him away, saying that he snatcehd krishna from her, and expects her to forgive and forget, and move on with him. she says that she is merely here for krishna and the challenge, that she shall win. he asks how can she not be affected by what krishna’s happiness is. sagar tells her that krishna wishes to stay with them both, and thats whats she wants to be happy, and reminds how she had asked her, why cant she have both. ganga is tensed to hear this. she says that she doesnt want her daughter to know the truth. he asks how long should he continue to be apologetic. she says that she has forgiven him, but not necessarily forgotten, as she remembers it totally fresh. she says that she wont be able to trust him ever again. she storms out. he is left standing tensed.
At Ammaji’s residence, ganga strolls around the house and is reminded of her childhood memories, with every member of the family, and has mixed bitter-sweet emotions. she thinks that its time for ammaji to return home, from her bathing, and wonders whether the puja thali is ready by maharaj or not. she hollers for him, but he is unable to respond. she then finds the thali and places it properly.
ammaji comes and eyes her approvingly, while ganga defiantly denies that she was caring or anything, while ammaji tells her that she cant change her habits, even though she tries to pretend hard. ammaji gives her the prashad, and amusedly says that she saw what she had to. niru eyes happily from a distance. ganga continues to clarify that she is misreading her, while ammaji doesnt comply. she leaves, and ammaji eyes the prashad tensedly. she is about to go, when she finds niru smiling.
ganga again tries to clarify, while niru says that he knows everything, but doesnt want anyone to lose, so that the family can win. he leaves for his room. ganga continues to stand tensedly, cursing herself, and how vehement she is that she wont return back.
In his room, niru vents out his rage and frustration at zoya, while she desperately cries. she begs him to listen to her, as ganga is misusing her influence on the members, and that she isnt at fault. she tries to emotionally manipulate him, while begging to be forgiven. madhavi watches tensedly. she begs for apology. but he angrily asks her to get lost. zoya is bitterly crying and gets to leaving the room, when she eyes madhavi, who turns her face away too. zoya leaves. niru is distraught and apalled.
he tells madhavi that he cant even apologise to her and sagar, as sorry wont suffice for what he did, and the way he hurt them both. she asks him not to, as whats done is done, and asks him to move on, and not lament on it, and instead forgetting everything, they should start afresh, and hugs him. he thanks her for her forgiveness and her loving nature. he hopes things get better with ganga and sagar too.
In the kitchen, while krishna is working, maharaj comes and points out how she is exactly like ganga, and starts narrating incidents from her childhood, along with strifes between her and sagar. Krishna asks maharaj what was ganga’s favourite game, and gets to know that its kite flying. she is amused. he says that things and situation forced her to let go of her childish streak.
MEanwhile, krishna and juhi are at loggerheads and fighting severely, when ganga and sagar come and try and pull them apart. ganga takes krishna away while sagar takes juhi away. krishna says that juhi doesnt want to believe that girls can fly kite. their thoughts instigate sagar and ganga, and they start fighting, as ganga says that women can do anything, while sagar takes all the credit for whatever she taught him during his childhood.
krishna pulls them apart, after juhi leaves when she eyes supriya watching her. KRishna gives sagar and ganga, the challenge of a kite competition, so that they know who is good at this. they both comply, while madhavi and ammaji look on, and hope that the children’s idea works.
On the terrace, ganga is a pro at flying the kite, while sagar has difficulty even getting it in the air. finally, he manages somehow, while ganga is amused. krishna supports him, and they both start flying their kites on the roof. madhavi and ammaji watch on. sagar is distracted, but krishna keeps pulling him back from staring at ganga and focus on flying the kite. krishna is hopeful that sagar wins. but while doing so, he falls in a dug hole in the ground. krishna sees this and screams that he fell down. ganga hears this, and turns around to find krishna standing beside the trench, and sagar noweher to be seen.
she gets tensed. ammaji and madhavi are shocked too. Sensing the tension, gangs rushes too, and all are amused at seeing sagar drenched in dirt and dirty water, while he fumes at all of them. he wonders how to get out. ganga gives him her hand, and he somehow manages to grasp her hand, and she pulls him out finally, while krishna, madhavi and ammaji look on. ganga gets to brushing off the dirt, and notices that he is wounded too.
ganga continues to reprimand him thoroughly for behaving so childish, irresponsible and immature. she vents out her frustration, while he smiles at her, throughout the time. others are amused. ganga silences when she realises, and he asks her why she stopped, as he liked it when she was scolding. she is embarassed.
Ganga senses the awkwardness, and leaves hastily from there while all watch her going. ammaji tells sagar that he lost this challenge and now asks him what shall he do now. krishna thinks that the game has just started, and might be ganga has come for a week, but in this time, she shall manage to get her to befriend him, like they were in childhood, and they can live happily again, and then she shall have her mother as well as her father.
Downstairs, ammaji and madhavi discuss how ganga still secretively cares for sagar. when sagar comes down too, ammaji is amused and tries to tease him. he is baffled and asks madhavi whats wrong with her, and why is she talking like this. madhavi says that she is very happy. just then, krishna comes with a scorecard, and others are baffled as to whats going on. KRishna makes a scorboard for ganga and sagar, and places one point to ganga, in the kite competition. sagar asks why as ganga didnt cut his kite.
krishna tells that when sagar fell, ganga saved him and still managed to keep her kite high flying. they all comply to this logic, and grant her the winner. he sulks. ganga thanks her. she says that this is just the beginning, and knows she shall win ahead too. he asks her not to be over confident. others are amused at their verbal scuffles. he says that he shall prove tht he loves her more than ganga. ganga asks whats the challenge. krishna says that they shall know tomorrow, by writing and till then, they should rest.
Later, in the night, sagar is tensed, while krishna asks him not to. he says that he is scared of her win, and ganga is capable of. he sulks at her too, for giving ganga one point. she says that she had to be rational. he says that he cant afford to lose, and then lose ganga and krishna too. she asks him why didnt he win then. he says that ganga is a pro at kite flying, and asks her to give a task that he has an added advantge, they decide to consult with each other, before every other challenge. he asks what next task can help him win over ganga. krishna excitedly screams that she did get, and then narrates her idea to him, and he loves it.
The next morning, while she is ready for school and is about to go, sagar and krishna come down and are happily chatting away, when ganga comes and finds him helpiong her to get ready. she gets defensive, while sagar taunts that he is the father and hence is helping her to get ready. krishna says that sagar knows about the next challenge. ganga asks how could she tell him and not her. krishna says that she technically told him after midnight so its valid.
Ganga fumes but krishna gives her some logic and shuts her up. maharaj serves them breakfast, and they hurriedly rush to the dining table. sagar and krishna sit down to eat, when she comments to ganga that it seems he shall win today. he intently feeds her, while she fumes, and looks awat. they enjoy. krishna gives them the task of preparing a nice dish for her, by the time, she returns back from school. ganga and sagar are prepared to take the challenge. after she leaves, they both stands facing each other, ganga is amused while sagar is tensed. niru calls him from the balcony to come to hsir oom, and asks ganga also to comply. they get going. he wonders how shall he make food, when he doesnt even know the first thing about it.
