Anupama 4 September 2022: Rakhi taunts Kavya that even young girls of Kinjal’s age won’t get excited for honeymoon like middle aged Kavya is excited. Kavya asks what is middle aged, she is young and even if she is, she is just married. She tells Vanraj they should get some pics clicked. Vanraj says already there was a big drama that she is starting now. She says what is wrong if she is excited. He says its her second marriage. She says if people mourn in their second marriage. Baa says yes just like they are and if this continues, even Kavya will mourn in a few days; Kavya is boasting about the the issue which they cannot discuss openly, already she has ruined their dignity in the society. Vanraj says Baa is right. Baa says people who used to taunt them will shut their mouth. Rakhi says she is right. Kavya tells Baa that she thinks all her decisions are wrong, but she should think that even she can benefit with it. Anu gets into cab. Kavya taunts that family is directly coming home and cannot meet Anupama, Anu should take care of herself. Anu nods yes.
She excitedly gets into cab with Vanraj. They all leave the resort in their cabs.Anu thinks her new journey of life will start from here. Toshu tells siblings that Kavya is accompanying them home, there will be fight with Baa everyday. Samar says he doesn’t want to stay in that house. Anu says to fight, they need 2 people, a single person can vent out anger and nothing else, they shouldn’t react at all; even a new shoes bites, this is a new relationship, so they should maintain their calm. Pakhi says they were staying with mummy in resort and will have live separately after returning home. Anu says she is just staying 2 lanes away and can visit her naani’s house anytime. Pakhi says there is a difference between staying together and staying 2 lanes away. Toshu consoles her. In another cab, Bapuji says how will he live without Anupama. Baa says she doesn’t feel like taunting new bahu, don’t know how will she live without Anu. Dolly says they have to bear Kavya everyday from hereon. Rakhi thinks there would be only entertainment in Shah family. In another cab, Kavya gets romantic with Vanraj and offers him chips.
He says no thank you. She asks him to feed her then and leans on his shoulder. He asks her to sit properly. Driver notices them in mirror. Anu tells children that they will live away from maa if they go away for studies or job. Samar says its about future, they cannot handle today. Pakhi cries asking who will prepare breakfast and cold coffee to her and wake her up. Toshu asks who will serve him coffee late night, who will take care of him and fix his cupboard. Anu says Kinjal will. Kinjal asks who will correct her mistakes and teach her. Nandini says she didn’t even get a chance to spend time with Anu that house. Anu says she read somewhere that whatever god wants will happen and not what they think, life is like a river and they need to learn to flow with it. She cheers up Pakhi and clicks their pick. She then cries remembering the time spent with them. Ungli Pakadke..maa.. song plays in the background.
They all reach their locality. Anu looking Shah house reminisces her daily routine for 25 years. She then takes Baa and Bapuji’s blessings, hugs her children emotionally, and tells Kijal that the family’s responsibility is on her and she should take care of the familyi. She then Kavya that she is a bahu/DIL now and not only Mr. Shah’s wife, she should give love in return of love, her house is like a heart beat and she should maintain it, she is lucky to have such a nice family and should respect them. She then asks Vanraj to take care of himself and when he has married Kavya, he should give her a wife’s respect. She prays tulsi plant from outside and asks Kinjal not to let it dry. She then takes her bag, asks Bapuji not to barge on sweets in her absence. Bapuji says he used to have it as she used to stop him, now without her he doesn’t feel like having sweets. She says he should visit her whenever he wants to have her prepared tea. He says he will as he cannot stay without seeing her. She greets Jai Sri Krishna. He stops her and tells Vanraj that he wants to give him wedding gift, asks Anu if she took all her goods. She says yes. He says she forgot 1 thing, he has her belonging with him, and goes in. Rakhi thinks what he must be doing. Bapuji returns and gives an envelope to Vanraj as his wedding gift.
Kavya snatches it and thanks him. Bapuji then gives one envelope to Anu and asks her to read it. Anu reads it and asks how can he do this. Kavya asks Anu not to question Bapuji as they should accept elders’ gifts and not argue. Vanraj asks what is written in it. Kavya says she respects Bapuji’s decision. Bapuji says she didn’t read the papers well. Vanraj scolds her that she cannot even read the papers properly, reads them and stands serious. Kavya asks what is written in it. Bapuji says he didn’t transfer his house in Vanraj’s name but divided it into 3 parts, one for son/Vanraj, second for his daughter/Dolly, and third for Anu. Kavya stands shocked.Kavya shocked hearing Bapuji transferring his property in Vanraj, Dolly, and Anupama’s name asks how can it be. Baa says just now she was telling they should obey elders, Bapuji had transferred plot even her name after marriage and he did right even this time.
Anu says she doesn’t need his property but just his blessings. He says its her right; in films and stories, they considered a person great/mahan if he/she sacrifices his/her property, but its good in stories and not practical life; why woman feels guilty to take her right, feels guilty if she speaks to her friend for 5 more minutes, feels guilty if she speaks to children, orders food from outside, goes to her parent’s house for 2 days in a year, etc., but there is no guilt in man’s share; who will explain this country’s woman that its not wrong to think about herself; even woman is a human and works hard for family, even then she feels guilty; Anu worked hard for this house for 25 years; only s ons shouldn’t get a birth right on property, Vanraj and Dolly got the right by birth and Anu earned it. Baa says Bapuji is absolutely right; earlier even she used to think that daughter doesn’t need her right, but later realized she was wrong; everyone deserve their share of sky and should get their shelter. Bapuji says especially woman should get her shelter so that a father, son, or husband shouldn’t order her to get out. Anu reminisces Vanraj shouting at her to get out of his house. Bapuji says every woman should have her own house with her own name plate and she shouldn’t show her mahananta/greatness and lose her right; even Anu’s husband kicked her out of house once; he wants every woman to have her house and work hard for herself to live with pride as society respects a person who earns the bread and not the one who prepares it. He finally says he is giving it as her right and its up to her to keep it as her right or not.
Vanraj says let us go in. Bapuji stops him and tells Anu that she has right on not only 4 walls but also this house, so he orders her to stay in this house. Anu says she cannot stay in this house after divorce as its weird. Bapuji asks if Vanraj’s affair after marriage is not weird, if his marriage in middle age is not weird. Rakhi taunts Kavya if she understand what middle age means. Bapuji says when Vanraj can marry again after having 3 grown up kids, why she feels her staying in the house is weird. Baa asks what will society say. Bapuji asks her to stuff her ears with cotton as he doesn’t care what society thinks, he has decided that his daughter will stay in his house. Rakhi praises him for his decision. Bapuji asks Anu how can a daughter be alone when his father is alive. Anu says she will stay with her mother and brother. Bapuji says he will get alone without his daughter. Vanraj says he is there to serve him. Kavya asks if he will not spend time with her even after marriage. Bapuji says Vanraj should handle his wife, Anu will handle him and requests Anu not to leave her hard earned family and not punish them all for Vanraj’s sins; Vanraj did wrong for years and even they did by watching it silently, she should let him do right at least now; he knows Anu is self-sufficient, but if she leaves him, he will stop having food.
Anu asks why is he adamant. Bapuji says old age is second childhood and he is adamant like a child/bal hat. Kavya says they need to be in a hut. Vanraj says hat means adamant and not hut. He tells Bapuji that Kavya is this house’s bahu/DIL now. Bapuji says Kavya will get her respect as a a bahut, but beti/daughter will not lose her respect. Kavya reacts again. Vanraj stops her and asks Bapuji to rethink. Bapuji pleads Anu that he wants to live with his daughter till he is alive and listen to him as a charity. Baa says Bapuji is right. Anu says a father shouldn’t plead a daughter and agrees to stay in his house. Kavya shouts what the hell, Bapuji got emotional, but Anu is mature and should reject Bapuji’s order. Anu says she cannot reject Bapuji’s order. Kavya yells she can if she wants to. Anu says its more difficult to stay with her in the same house, she is staying here for Bapuji and not her. Kavya shouts she cannot stay in this house as she doesn’t have right on it. Anu shows legal documents and says she gave her husband and everything and doesn’t need anything except her Baa and Bapuji’s health, and if they want her to stay in this house, she will as she cannot see her elders pleading her. Kavya shouts she cannot do that. Anu asks her to blindfold herself. Rakhi taunts her not to do that or else she will hit furniture.
Vanraj alleges Anu that she was eyeing on the house since long. Anu says what she could do if he was eyeing outside; she would have returned if it was a gift, but its a blessing. Rakhi thinks husband, wife, and ex-wife will stay in same house, even she should shift here. Vanraj tells Bapuji that he is doing injustice to her. Kavya says them. Vanraj asks if he deserves this. Kavya says us. He asks her to shut up. Bapuji says he doesn’t deserve anything due to his heinous act, he eradicated differences between generations and his father and sons have to bear taunts because of his heinous acts; he learnt from him to be selfish; Vanraj and Kavya will stay in first floor while he, Anu, and Baa will stay in ground floor and children can stay wherever they want. Children say they will stay with mummy. Baa says house is divided, but she doesn’t want to divide kitchen and pooja room. Rakhi says even she needs an AC room with double bed as when ex-bahu can stay, why not samdhan. Baa says she is current samdhan who gives electric shock. Rakhi says she is joking. Bapuji says they are not joking here and asks Vanraj and Kavya if they want to stay here or not. Vanraj says he doesn’t want to, but Kavya stops him and says they will as she doesn’t want to forgo her right.
Bapuji tells Anu that family broke, but didn’t shatter. Samar says he will call naani/grandma and inform her that mummy will stay with them. Rakhi thinks team A is Kavya, B is Anu, and C is herself. Anu hopes that with god’s blessings, everyone should live peacefully. Kavya thinks she will make Anu, Baa, and Bapuji’s lives a hell.Baa and Bapuji with children walk in first. She holds Vanraj’s hand and walks in next. Anu stands near door. Baa brings aarti. Kavya says thank good someone at least remembered that she is bahu of this house. Bapuji holds Anu’s hand and brings her near door. Baa says first aarti will be Anupama’s. Kavya says she is this house’s bahu.Bapuji says they perform Lakhsmi’s aarti first and Anu is this house’s Lakhsmi, Saraswati, and Annapurna. Kavya stands jealous.
