Vani Rani 26 April 2024: Rani leaves the house. Everyone is crying. Vani is crying as well. Mishti says we don’t even have a house. Where will we go? Rani says we will arrange something. They sit on the road.
Prabhs asy you did right Parkash. Don’t worry this should have happened before. Mishti sleeps in Rani’s lap. Ajay says I know you are worried. He says just waiting. Will you tell me why these tears? She says nothing. Ajay says I know you are upset, Prabhaa says to Parkash if you are upset i will feel like my idea was wrong. If that is so I will go back with Gaitri. Prabha says please say something. Parkash says ma please dont’ go. You don’t have to go from here. You were right. Better that they left. They have no respect for my favors. Now they will know what money is. Now they will live on roads. God gives your roof not house. God gives hunger not food.

Vani is crying in her room. She recalls what happened. Sartak brings food. Mishti says this is so dirty. Rani says eat it. Sartak says I am not hungry. Ajay says please eat. He says I will eat. Nandani comes to Vani and says please drink this milk. Vani says I dont’ want anything. NAndani says I know you are really hurt. Rani didn’t even talk to you once. VAni says I dont’ want to talk to anyone.
Ajay looks for rooms. Parkash says to Adi I did this to save Anjali. I can’t tell Vani. She wont understand. If she gets to know she will break her relationship with me. Adi says you care about your marriage? I am thinking about Anjali. What was her mistake? Vani comes in and says no mistake. Come with me adi. Adi says what happened? Vani says you don’t deserve to ask anything. Parkash asks Prabha did i do rright? Prabha says I hope he doesn’t tell vani. You did right. Gaitri and Lekhraj left.
Vani says to Anjali you don’t have to be scared of anyone. I am with you. If you wanna break this marriage you can. Don’t take any pressure. Prabha says you will break your son’s marriage? Vani says that was bluff not marriage. Anjali is crying.
Vani says this marriage is just a cheating. You can break this if you want. Anjali says no I will keep this marriage. Anjali is crying. Anjali says you at least gave me the right. No one cares here about me. We can’t change the fate. My father wrote this darkness for me. I will keep it now. She says to her father are you happy now? Kaviya is crying. She says why did all this happen. Vani looks at her and cries more. They recall Mishti crying. Vani says Mishti I hope you are all right.
Ajay and family come to temple. Sid is crying as well. Adi comes to him. He says this is all my mistake. They hug each other.
Its morning. Rani and her family slept outside temple. Rani says please help us God. Save us. Bijli comes there. She brings food. Rani says do you come here? Bijli is crying. She says why did you leave the house. I feel so alone without you. Rani says don’t cry. Everything will be fine. Bijlo says you can stay at my place unless you don’t find a place. I know its a small space for you but please come. You are like a mother to me. Come with me. She picks their stuff. Bijli says will you come with me Mishti? Mishti nods.
Kaviya is crying in her room. Anjali is crying. Adi brings her juice. He leaves it on her table. Adi says bhabhi sent you breakfast. Please eat something. Anjali says I will never love you so dont’ even hope. Adi says don’t ever punish yourself because of my mistake. I deserve the pain not you. He leaves.
Vani comes downstairs and sees empty chairs. She recalls old times. No one likes it.
Rani comes to Bijli’s house. They clean their room. Mihsti is upset. Sartak recalls Anjali saying I can’t come. He says ma papa this is all because of me. I shouldn’t have loved that Anjali. I hate her. Anjali says sartak don’t get me wrong. Adi ruin two lives your and mine. Sartak says you married him for money. I will earn way more. I will ruin your life.
Scene 1
Mishti says I wont go to school. No one will talk to me. Rani says no one will do that. Ajay says if someone does that they are not your true friends. Sartak says yes we should be confident. Mishti gets ready. Ajay asks Sartak are you okay? He says yes I am fine. Rani says to Sartak you can skip college? He says I didn’t do a mistake. I want to graduate so I can do a job.
Rani sees that there is no food in the house. Ajay says I am not hungry. Rani says I am really worried for them. Ajay says they can manage themselves.
Vani asks Nandani to take breakfast to her room. Nandani picks landline a man says please send vani to office its very urgent. Nandani says wrong number.
Mishti and Sartak leave together. Ajay goes to find work. Ajay says don’t be sad. She says there is nothing in the house. He says just show me a smile. He says when I have you i have everything. He leaves for work.
Scene 2
Bijli is stealing food. Prabha sees her and calls everyone. Vnai says what happened? Prabha says she was stealing food. Bijli says I was taking this food for Rani and family. They haven’t eaten anything. Everyone is dazed. Prabha says did we ask her to go? We don’t care. Vani says ma ji is right. THey left the house. If you take food from here they wont eat it anyway. They might eat from langar you get it?? Bijli says yes I get it. Prabha says make tea for me.
Vani leaves for office.
Adi recalls what Sartak said. Prabha comes to him. She says why are you punishing yourself? Why didn’t you go to college? You andd anjali should go together. Adi says this is not a joke. I don’t want to hurt Sartak more. Prabha says I just want to see you happy. Parkash comes. Adi says no one can stay happy with snatched happiness. He leaves. Parkash says listen. Parkash says I made a mistake. Prabha says don’t say that anyone would listen. Bijli comes and says your tea. Prabha says everything will be fine once Anjali gets better.
Ajay is looking for jobs. Anjali is upset in her room. She recalls what happened. She picks a knife to slit her wrist. Adi comes and takes the knife. He says what were you doing? She says I was cutting this thread that pandit ji tied on my hand in the wedding. I thought I would suffocate less. Dont’ worry for me. I am not a coward like you. Just leave. Adi leaves. The knife cuts his hand. Anjali says just go I can’t tolerate you here.
