This is fate 6 September 2022: Shristhi entering the house asks Sarla if she knows what is going non outside because Dadi is fighting with the news paper vendor, Sarla asks her to not worry because this has been going on for the pasty many years but since Bi jee was not with them since the past two years then she missed it a lot,
Shristhi questions what is Sarla doing in the kitchen, she replies that she is making breakfast for her, Janki asks Sarla to at least ask Preeta stay with them for one day but she had to go and work in the clinic.
Shristhi tries to get a spoon of the halwa but Sarla doesnot allow her and threatens her to slap her, Shristhi replies that she has forgotten about her ever since Preeta came she has forgotten about her, Sarla replies for the past two years she always did what Shristhi desired but now
if she is doing for one day what Preeta likes, Sarla asks her to go and see if Preeta is awake as she has the made the fresh poori for her, Shristhi starts knocking on the door when Janki questions why is she knocking on the door but Sarla is glad that she has grown up, as if she was the old Shristhi then would have went in without questioning, Shristhi replies that she is forced to be like this because Preeta has locked the door from inside, she is waiting when Preeta finally opens the door, the glass is about to fall but she manages to save her.
Shristhi exclaims she should have let it fall as the bad thing would have been detained because of it, Preeta replies not everything can be forgotten as she still remembers what had happened to her two years ago, Shristhi replies she must not think about it as both of the families have moved on, she must therefor also think about the future, Preeta questions if it is that easy to move on, because she has a lot of memories from this city, but was forced to transfer here, she was comfortable sitting in Bangalore treating the patients, Shristhi tries to explain the city also belongs to them and is not only of the Luthra’s, both of them are standing, Sarla enters exclaiming she has prepared the breakfast for her, she makes Preeta sit with her explaining that she was away from them,
Sarla knows Preeta would have tried to forget those memories from her mind which she doesnot want to keep, she knows Preeta would have removed a lot of them but what small are remaining would die down soon, Janki also exclaims they have suffered a lot, Sarla stopping her mentions that she is just saying this because they have hurt the heart of Preeta who was the one who kept them close together as a family but since they had hurt her heart so would also not be happy anymore, Sarla mentions it was the decision of Preeta to leave but she did not want her however now she would not let Preeta leave this house ever again, Preeta wiping off the tears of Sarla exclaims that she is right as now they all would live in the same house happily, Preeta agrees, Sarla replies she has made the halwa just Preeta likes with a lot of dried fruits, Shristhi requests Sarla to give Preeta a big bite as if she has not allowed her to eat then should at least make Preeta eat, Sarla even makes Shristhi eat, they all enjoy happily, Preeta even prepares a bite for Sarla.
Bi Jee is entering the house, she is really excited when Sarla comes asking what happened, Bi jee exclaims it feels really good to come to her house with all her family, but she knows they would not have missed her espically Sarla, she questions why is Bi jee thinking like this because they all missed her including the newspaper vendor, also the launderer and the Sharma aunti. Preeta asks Shristhi to go and bring the address of the clinic, she mentions even when this city is not a new one, but she feels as if she is taking a new step, Janki brings the yogurt with Sugar when Preeta leaves after eating it, Sarla requests her to come back because they would have the dinner together.
Sarla after walking in the city takes the auto towards her clinic but she on the way sees a women trying to pull her cart which is stuck, she rushes to help her pull the cart out, the lady along with her son thank Preeta, the auto driver also exclaims she is a really kind women because she even helped them when she herself was getting late, Preeta even advises the driver to go and help those whom he feels he can, he replies that people like her are the ones because of which the world is still working, the driver stops the auto but Preeta doesnot move, he informs her saying that she has reached the location, Preeta walks out when she sees the patient van, the people rush to catch the patient, Preeta ses they have dropped the coins of a blind women, Preeta manages to pick all of them for her, she blesses Preeta exclaiming there are not many people like her in the world and the same Bhagya has brought her back to this world which was snatched from her two years ago, she would be able to get all that she deserves back,
Preeta tries to refuse but the lady exclaims she would have heard how it is said that when god snatches the eyesight from a person, they are given another sight which she has, she knows that Preeta has a loving heart which tends to beat for everyone, she requests Preeta to lean forward and blesses her, Preeta also leaves taking the blessings of the women.
Preeta while walking is thinking about what the women said but she is worried, she drops the address which falls in the drain, Preeta thinks how it happened when she first came to Mumbai, she starts to think what the women said that she is going to get her Bhagya in the city, she thinks if she might bump into the same people she is trying to run away from, she refutes her mind thinking she is worrying too much, she locates the clinic which is right Infront of her.
Preeta enters the clinic that is really dark, she starts walking wondering what might have happened, she goes to the reception but is stunned when someone suddenly comes from behind, he apologizing asks if she is Dr Preeta, she agrees when he replies he doesnot know how the light went out he requests her to wait while he checks out the real reason, she starts looking around so enters the clinic, there is someone hiding behind the table Preeta walking over lifts the curtains to end the darkness, the person once again hides. Ward boys come running asking if they all saw where he went, Preeta goes out when they warn her to close all the doors since a mental patient ran away from the van and can harm anyone, Preeta cries after seeing the person which alerts the ward boys, Preeta tries to open the door but is pulled back by the person, she is shocked to see Mahesh who is constantly requesting Preeta to protect his family, he replies how he doesnot know where Rishab went and Prithvi took control over everything.
Preeta is stunned to see him in such a poor condition, he requests her to protect his Karan, the people come exclaiming he is here but they all forcefully take Mahesh away when he is constantly requesting that he doesnot want to go with them, but instead desires to go back home, Preeta is not able to do anything when they manage to take Mahesh away, he is still requesting her to save him and his family, Preeta runs after him, she asks them to stop when Mahesh is exclaiming he is not mental, Preeta requests them to leave him but they try to stop her, he asks what is she doing, she questions why is he taking him when the ward boy says she doesnot what the person is capable off because he is a really dangerous person and can attack anyone, Preeta tries to explain they are mistaken because he is not a mental person, Mahesh is pushed into the van, the ward boy exclaims he doesnot know her but he knows that his own family left him here and they take him to the asylum every Thursday, Mahesh is requesting that he doesnot want to go with them.
Preeta recalls how she was sitting when he came to her exclaiming he knows the reason why she is crying because today is the birthday of her father, Preeta questions how does he know, when he replies that when she was saying to Rishab and Karan that they are very lucky, he saw how her voice was trembling and so figured it, he mentions he would have fought with Bhagwan if he could, asking why did he not give him a daughter like her as he always desired but after Rishab, Karan was born, Preeta starts smiling, he exclaims she is looking really nice with a smile on her face so should always remain happy, because he considers her to be his own daughter and if from today she should always think of him,
he will always be there for her when she needs him but this is a barter trade as when he needs her then she would also have to come, Preeta accepted the deal, when she assured Mahesh that she will always stand beside him when he needs her. Mahesh mentions he sometimes thinks of something, that if she likes he can get her married to either of his sons as this way she would be with him, Mahesh is requesting Preeta to not let him leave as he is not mad, she tries to stop the van but they leave without listening to her, she stops an auto asking him to follow the blue van but he refuses however she exclaims she will give him any amount which he asks, Preeta asks the auto driver to drive fast but he exclaims that the van drives fast then other cars but he knows where it is going and he will take her there, Preeta thanks him when they stop at the mental asylum, Preeta says she is going to pay him after coming back, she walks into the asylum.
Preeta even gets scared with some of the patients, Mahesh is taken into the cell when Preeta reaching outside questions why are they doing this, she requests the doctor to stop it however he gives Mahesh the shock treatment, Preeta once again calls him when he asks the helper to take her away, Preeta is pulled away when she is constantly asking why are they doing this to Mahesh, Preeta is stopped from going to that side, he asks her to talk with the doctor, when she exclaims he is the daughter of Mahesh, he asks her to come when she questions why was he giving him the shocks even when she requested him to stop, he exclaims if she is his daughter then would know why he was being given the shocks,
Preeta replies she has not lived with him for some years, the doctor explains that Mahesh Luthra has become a mental patient and is really dangerous, Preeta replies how can this be the case because he was talking normally with her today, the doctor replies he might have gotten normal for some time but after that he goes back to his same mental state, they are tyring to give him the best treatment but the chances of success are very low, however one never knows when it might work. The doctor reveals the news that his mental condition might be getting worse with each passing day, Preeta exclaims if she can at least talk with him once however the doctor says that he might be taken back to his home.
Preeta walks out when Shristhi calls her asking where she is because she called her but got to know Preeta was not in the clinic, but this happened a long time ago, Preeta asks her to not be worried because she will come back till six, Shristhi explains she wants to spend some time with her as she was away for a lot of years.
Shristhi stands but is scared after she turns to see Dadi, who reveals she wants to apply the oil in her hair, Shristhi says she doesnot want to get it, however Dadi replies she should first listen, as she meant she needed the oil so Shristhi should apply it, Shristhi exclaims that she is not like any other grandmother as they normally tend to apply the oil in their grandchildren’s hairs but Dadi forces Shristhi to apply it in her hair.
Preeta is sitting in her cabin when the nurse comes informing the patients have arrived, Preeta asks her to send them in, she is hesitant, but Preeta replies she went for some work but has now come back, she starts checking all of the patients one by one, trying to help them the best she can, she even files the report required for them all. She sits down once again thinking about how Mahesh was requesting her to protect his family as everything got ruined. Preeta calls the nurse requesting her to come in, the nurse arrives when she asks if she can call Dr Aanad who comes in the night shift an hour early, Preeta says she cannot be here any longer so the next doctor should be called. The nurse is really shocked when Preeta walks out of the clinic, Shristhi calls her exclaiming she was thinking if she should order some snacks for them both since she might be hungry, Shristhi exclaims it is half past four, and she might come by six but Preeta asks her to order whatever she wants for herself as she might get late, because she needs to go for a home visit,
Shristhi exclaims that she herself said there is not any home visit and if she even goes then will get late, Preeta replies there is no problem and she is going for the home visit because they are her old patient she knows them and he is like her father, so there is not any problem, Shristhi should also tell Maa to not wait for her as she will get late. Preeta ends the call.
Preeta stops an auto, she asks him to take her to the Luthra Mansion. Dadi exclaims they are really sour, she questions what sort of fruits has Sarla brought, she informs that these men are really complicated as once they start drinking then do not stop and after which create a lot of mess by fighting, Janki exclaims the women are also no different as the mother of Papu drank five to six bottles, day before yesterday and also created a lot of havoc after which he knew how problem drinking causes so he also stopped drinking, Sarla exclaims tat sometimes one has to take the wrong path for a correct solution.
Shristhi comes out, Sarla questions what has happened when Shristhi replies Preeta said that she might get late, Sarla questions what the problem is, Shrishti replies she felt the same tone in her voice which used to be when she was with the Luthra family, Sarla replies to a lot has changed since it has been two years and the Luthra’s would have forgot Preeta. Shristhi replies she has also forgot everything and moved on since Sameer was against her family and moved on, Dadi asks if she has really moved on then has, she decided to get married, Shristhi questions if she would have to sign a stamp paper, Janki says that both the daughters have not moved on, but just make an excuse when in reality their hearts still beat for the Luthra’s, Shristhi asks Janki to not instigate the matter, Sarla sends Shristhi to bring her small purse. She asks Janki why she keeps talking about the same family as they have forgot him, Janki quietly listens to the scolding of Sarla.
