Rakhi turning to Rajveer requests him to take her to Palki, she leaves when ketan’s mother wonders where has she seen her, she finally realizes that Rakhi is the mother of Karan Luthra, she is about to follow them but her brother stops her asking when is the time for the wedding.
Rajveer enters the room with Rakhi introducing her to Palki, he sits down on the chair when Rajveer is about to introduce her, Rakhi stops him explaining that they both met today for the first time in the Mandir but got to like each other since he is a very nice person, Rakhi mentions she is the Dadi of Rajveer, he sitting beside her informs that she is very young so can he call her as Badi mom,
Rakhi with a smile on her face agrees, Palki explains that if Rajveer has brought her here then she would need medical attention, Rakhi reveals that she was crossing the road in front of the Mandir while searching for her daughter in law which is when she got in an accident with a car, Palki quickly kneels down asking if she can check her feet, she then instructs Rajveer to bring her medical kit. Palki explains she is a very intellectual person so should have looked before crossing the road as her daughter in law would be in the house waiting for her, Rakhi thinks she desires she could tell her the truth but today is the very big day for her. Palki keeps advising Rakhi to take care of herself as she feels someone who always cares for others.
Rajveer interferes asking Palki to treat her but not scold her, palki replies then he should ask her to take care of herself while asking him to not interfere between a doctor and her patient, Rakhi stops them both agreeing to walk before crossing the road and taking care of herself, she mentions today they both are getting engaged and married so it does not feel nice that they are fighting. Rajveer informs Palki is getting married to someone else, Rakhi apologizes for the mistake, palki replies it is nothing to be worried about, she says she will give her the pain killer for now but she must walk before crossing th road. Rakhi asks Palki to sit with her on the chair, she reveals ever since she has seen palki she has a feeling that palki would bring happiness to the house where she goes, se blesses her.
Rakhi explains to Rajveer that now she must leave since her family would be waiting for her. Rajveer requests her to wait for some time, Rakhi informs she came here but is feeling really bad since she was not able to do anything but become a burden on them, she advises Palki to apply some more makeup. Rajveer agrees to take her out, Palki hands her the painkiller when Rakhi apologizes for ruining hr day but palki mentions that it is her duty,
Rakhi and Rajveer are walking out the room when Rajveer turns to look at her, Rakhi asks Rajveer if he likes Palki, he is not able to say anything but just keeps looking at her, Rakhi says there is no need to give her any answer, as she has seen his face and eyes and in those she has seen that he has a lot of love for Palki. Rajveer accepts that he has the feelings which anyone from his age would get, but explains that the feelings are that of a friend and the one in which he would always protect her whenever she is in any trouble, Rajveer mentions that palki helped his aunt in the time of need and he really loves her, revealing when she helped his aunt so now he can go to any means in order to protect her, even if it means standing against someone just for her. Rakhi smiles looking at Rajveer who is just staring at palki, while Palki is thinking about the time when Rajveer caught her.
Preeta stops Daljeet who says she has still not gotten ready, Preeta assures she would get ready in a moment but hands Daljeet the black ribbon which she has to tie in the arm of palki. Daljeet asks Preeta to go and get ready.
Rakhi thinks that no matter how much he hides, she ahs seen that he really loves Palki. Rajveer questions Rakhi if she is fine, she says that whatever is written in the kundali would surely happen, she informs Rajveer that no one can change what is written in the Kundali as she has seen and witnessed it, Rakhi reveals her son also feel in love with a doctor girl and their profession was really different, Rakhi reveals they both had a lot of fights and her family had to separate them. Palki asks then what happened when Rakhi reveals they both got married, informing that they both used to fight just to discover the love that existed between them. Rakhi informs she could write an entire book on their story, mentioning in their terms it was as if there was a mad boy and girl. Rajveer once again turns to look at palki, Rakhi gets a call from her house so informs she has to leave, requesting if Rajveer would drop her back to her car. Rakhi leaves with Rajveer after looking at Palki.
Palki sitting down on the couch remembers when Rajveer accepted that he has feelings which any one at his age would get, Mahi enters asking Palki to come with her as everyone is calling her for the engagement.
Rajveer helps Rakhi to the car, he reaching the door says he is once again going to request her to stay till the engagement of palki assuring that he will himself drop her back home. Rakhi requests him to not show so much love as then she might not feel good to leave him but she still desires to take him with her, Rakhi reveals he has made her remembers someone, Rajveer asks if she is remembering her son when Rakhi reveals he has made her remember her daughter in law as they both are like each other. Rajveer informs he would not be able to explain the bond that they both have made with each other in such a short time, Rakhi gets in the car to leave.
Preeta while searching for Rajveer comes out, she is shocked to see that he is meeting some one in the car who is showering their blessing on him. Rakhi finally leaves.
Mahi comes with palki, seeing whom Ketan stands up along with his entire family, waiting for Palki to come and sit beside Ketan. Mahi tells Ketan that his bride has come, she asks them both to sit down.
Ketan’s uncle congratulates Mr Khurana that they are about to become relatives, Ketan’s aunt says that she thought Ketan is getting married to a doctor, her husband says that his wife was saying that since the girl has become a doctor then would not be good looking, he mentions but her thoughts changed when she saw Palki.
Preeta angrily calls Rajveer asking why is he not ready till now, she also asks who was in the car that was showing him love like her own son. Rajveer replies no one can love him like her but her love was a bit different like an elder mother, Preeta gets amazed when Rajveer says she is feeling jealous, Preeta replies she only gets jealous when it relates to him. Rajveer thinks he will very soon call her as Maa.
Preeta says he is just like calling anyone as Badi maa, she informs that only Shristhi is his mother while she is like her mother, Preeta asks him to come since they have to get ready.
Ketan’s mother asks Mahi to entertain them till Pandit jee arrives as they belong to the entertainment industry, Daljeet agrees that both of her daughters are very talented, she says she had seen Mahi dancing on the song everybody can dance, Mahi teases her on her language skills, she exclaims that Mahi would be so beautiful as her mother is beautiful. Mr Khurana notices that Palki is tensed and searching for someone, he asks her if she is waiting for someone when Palki says Rajveer but then asks him if he took his name, she mentions she was just looking here and there.
Mahi starts dancing on the song, while Ketan and Palki are sitting in front of her, they all start rejoicing on her song meanwhile Palki is just staring at Rajveer who is standing with Preeta. Gurpreet wonders what are her eyes seeing as Palki was till now very emotional but are seeing Rajveer she has started smiling. Daljeet also starts dancing when Mahi takes Palki with ketan to the dance floor and even Preeta along with Gurpreet join them, Rajveer however is just standing in the corner looking at them all, Mahi pulls Palki to the front with her, so they both start dancing together before the song finally ends.
Daljeet hugs them both meanwhile the Pandit jee greets them, Daljeet asks them all to sit down as the time for the engagement is about to start, she bring the Thali informing the Pandit jee that all the preparations have been made. Pandit jee applies the tika to both Ketan and Palki, Ketan’s mother takes out the engagement ring, requesting Palki to raise her hand, she however turning back looks at her family while Daljeet asks her to turn back as Ketan will make her wear the ring and complete the engagement. Palki looking at Rajveer recalls the incident in the jewelry store where he accidentally made her wear the ring. Ketan however manages to make her wear the ring, Rajveer is only able to control his emotions with a lot of struggles.
Daljeet then asks Palki to take the ring, she picks it up while slowly turning to ketan. Pandit jee also instructs Palki to make the groom wear the ring, they both slowly raise their hands and fulfill the engagement. Rajveer not being able to control himself turns to look in the other direction. Meanwhile everyone else is greeting and congratulating both Palki and Ketan. Preeta also walks to Palki whom she hugs, she even praises the ring. Daljeet asks them to bring the sweets as they must celebrate this moment. Palki notices how Rajveer is walking away when Mahi rushes to force him to eat the sweets, he takes a piece however turning back keeps staring at Palki who is also looking at him. Rajveer walks away.
Rajveer comes out after getting ready when Gurpreet praises him for being ready very quickly however explains even they all would get ready since Mohit takes a very long time in getting ready. Rajveer wonders why is he getting this strange feeling and hurting, he tries to refute it but is not able to let go of the feeling. Rajveer takes out the video of the dance in the engagement, he is just looking at the photo of Palki meanwhile Mohit comes out mentioning his mother does not let him get ready, Mohit asks Rajveer but he keeps staring at the photo of Palki. Mohit demands the truth but Rajveer denies that there is anything, Mohit mentions he tends to refuse there is anything of the sort but this time must speak only the truth, Rajveer accepts that he has feeling for Palki, Mohit gets very excited however Rajveer requests him to make sure that no one should find about his feelings anytime in the foreseeable future, Gurpreet comes asking what is going on between them both, Mohit says he was just saying she does not let him get ready with peace. Gurpreet exclaims she is saying they all must leave. Rajveer also leaves appreciating Mohit.
Simmi is glad seeing the dresses that everyone is wearing, Mr Khurana is really worried about preparations, and he sees Rajveer so asks him to take care of the DJ, and the caterers. Mohit pulls Rajveer with him but Rajveer tries to find ways which he can use to get away from Mohit. Rajveer finally sees Gurpreet so asks her to instruct Mohit to do some work, she orders him to take care of the guests. Mohit wonders where did Rajveer go.
Rajveer while walking sees Palki in the room, so he comes to fix the lights, Palki notices him so gets nervous meanwhile Rajveer is also just looking at her, he keeps thinking of the time when he forced the store manager to apologize to her. Rajveer signals Palki to correct something on her forehead, she is not able to find it when he asks if he can do it himself to which she agrees, so he fixes the Bindi on her forehead. Rajveer compliments that he has not seen a more beautiful bride then her. Rajveer informs his aunt was looking very pretty today so Gurpreet aunti applied her Kajal, so she does not get affected by anyone’s evil eye. Rajveer also applies the kajal behind the ear of Palki, she asks if she is actually looking that beautiful.
Rajveer says he is sad that he would not be able to see in the future, Palki gets emotional when Rajveer asks the reason, she says that Ketan would not allow them both to talk. Rajveer asks why is she feeling tensed when she has not done anything wrong, Palki informs she is feeling as if everything is going to end after today, so she is scared. Rajveer asks her to not go ahead with the marriage hearing this Palki is shocked. Simmi coming to the room questions what is going on here, Rajveer and palki both step away from each other and even wipe off the tears. Daljeet follows her into the room asking palki if she has gotten ready, she instructs Simmi to go and give the Pandit jee Thali for the pooja.
Gurpreet standing there notices Rajveer meanwhile Daljeet says she will help her wearing the dupatta, she asks Rajveer to go and check the lights. Daljeet and Gurpreet both start helping Palki wear the dupatta, meanwhile Rajveer is just staring at Palki even when he is fixing the lamp. Palki is also nervous so even she is not able to take her eyes of him, they both keep staring each other.
