This is fate 13 August 2020: Preeta is about to leave when Janki comes asking why she did not believe her when she pleaded that she was falling in a trap, Janki pulls him and comes to realize that it is Karan, she thinks that it was the reason he was quiet but Preeta will not understand as she is an honest and obedient person who will do what her mother has said, but it doesn’t matter and she will marry anyone who her mother wants to, Preeta turns to him mentioning that she will not marry anyone who has relations with someone else, Janki defends him explaining that it is because Pandit said that he has to remain quiet, Karan gets relieved thinking that he is being defended. She explains that she is doing this because she and her mother believe that Prithvi is good for her so she will not say anything
Sarla comes in, she asks Janki what she is doing explaining that the police want to search the entire house, requesting Prithvi to go and wait in the marriage hall, Janki gets worried seeing Preeta face she at first decides to tell her but then feels if she tells her then she will herself stop the wedding so she will only inform Shrishti.

Rishab comes to Mahesh room, he kisses him, then inquires if she gave him the new medicine, the nurse explains that she was told that Sherlin will give the new medicine but when she arrived there was no new medicine, He tries to call her but she doesn’t answer.
Sherlin and Shrishti are standing when the neighbors are talking saying that Preeta doesn’t look like a theft, she gets really angry and asks them to leave her house, she wonders that it is because of Karan as he was the one who insulted Preeta, but when he was her friend no one dared to say anything.
Sherlin request the Lady Officer to protect her because she is afraid that they might harm her, she receives a call from Rishab but doesn’t answer, Rishab gets worried as to why she is not answering the call.
Janki sees Sherlin she goes to her asking why she wants to stop the marriage, She answers that she wants her to not marry Prithvi, or any man for that matter because she wants to ruin her life, Janki thinks that she does not know that it is Karan who is behind the veil.
Chacha is requesting the police to not throw their belongings as it will cause them harm, the inspector makes fun of him ordering that he stand in a corner otherwise they will arrest him.
Karan gets into the room, he goes to Prithvi wondering why Preeta wants to marry him, he says that it is because she is obedient and will do anything her mother will tell her, he gets a call from Samer who asks him as to how will he know of the necklace as Rakhi sin not even home, Karan says that he will send him the list of jewelry which Rakhi gave to her, he must search it to find the necklace.
Shrishti is very frustrated, Janki enters the room mentioning that she has some important thing to inform her, Shrishti does not listen to anything which she has to say blaming Karan for everything that is happening with her sister because he insulted her to the extent that she is not capable of doing anything, she has even lost the ability to choose between right and wrong. It is all because of Karan and his behavior with them she thought that he was a good person but was wrong, he is like any other rich man who will do anything to get what he wants,
Janki tries to explain and defend Karan but she pays no heed to her words. She explains that they did all that they could to help the Luthra family however when they needed them they did not come, Janki asks then what was it when she talked with Sherlin, she answers that she is not saying he is a good person but there is nothing she will do to stop the wedding.
Karan is thrashing everything, he is blaming Preeta for the defeat which he got from Sherlin, he is adamant to do anything to get the revenge from Preeta, now she will experience his anger, he vows to not let her die until he is satisfied that he has taken revenge for all her actions.
Samer knocks on Rishab’s door, there is no one so he enters feeling relieved that he will not have to answer anyone as to why he is checking Sherlin’s jewelry, he is about to open the safe when he hears Rishab talking on the phone, Samer gets tensed, he closes the cupboard, Rishab comes and sits on the bed, he gets worried thinking as to what he will do as he has now sat on the bed, he unintentionally bumps into the lamp, Rishab gets curious, going to check who it is, however Samer hides then Rishab heads into the restroom, Samer thinks that it is the right time and checks the safe, he finds it and is angry as she lied about everything.
Karan is standing and worried about what is happening, the inspector cones saying that they have searched the entire house and have not found the necklace, Sarla asks if they can assume the wedding, the inspector also agrees with her, everyone faces rejoice with joy on hearing the news.
Sarla pleads to the inspector that if they have not found anything should they assume the wedding, he agrees but Sherlin stops them saying that she has herself saw her stealing the necklace and they must arrest her, they are about to go the hall when a lady inspector comes with the necklace, Sherlin immediately says that it is hers.
Samer is trying to take a photo of the necklace when he hears Rishab cleaning his hands, he quickly hides behind the wardrobe, Samer thinks that he should go outside and let him leave, Rishab is talking of a conference call, Samer thinks that this means he will not be able to leave the room, Samer kneels down and leaves the room.
Rishab walks out to Mahesh room, he is amazed to find the no one is there, Rishab sits beside him explaining that he is not able to comprehend what is happening. He is not able to find anyone, Rishab starts to cry complaining that he is not able to take care of the matters and feels he is all alone, pleading to Mahesh to wake up as he knows that he is listening demanding that he come back as he wants him, Rishab puts his head on Mahesh body but he does not say anything, Rishab explains that he will take care of everything, he will make him feel that he is a proud father Rishab runs out calling the nurse.
Preeta tries to explain that she does not know how it got here, Sherlin explains that she is not mad to hide such expensive thing to just frame her but she thinks that she did this because she will not let Prithvi marry Preeta, she thinks of how she framed her so that she is not able to marry her.
Sarla pleads to the inspector that they don’t know of the necklace, she thinks of how she went to the house when Chacha and Janki were there, she went waiting for both of them to leave, she got an idea and so was really happy of her luck, she then hid the necklace in her room, so that she would be able to blame Preeta, thinking that this would be the end of Preeta as she would be sent to jail.
She then hid it between some head rests so secretly going out when she saw them both leaving, she was not able to go out of the house she decided to jump out of the window but was not able to leave, she heard someone coming, Samer and Shrishti enter, he had hiccups so they both went to the kitchen, she took the chance and left the house.
She wonders of what they are waiting as now they have found the necklace, she demands that they arrest her, but Karan comes in front of the police taking them aside, Prithvi’s mother comes saying that he was told by the Pandit to not speak so he has gone aside to talk with them, she is sure that Preeta cannot be a thief however the one who is trying to blame her can be, Sherlin gets angry and furious.
Samer is walking when he feels something hurting and sits to check that it is a stone, Rishab comes saying that he has to come with her and drive a she is very angry with the behavior of everyone, Rishab tries to call the doctor, Samer thinks that he will text Karan however he takes the phone from him saying that he must do something else.
Karan explains that he knows Preeta cannot steal, Inspector says that he must know who is behind the veil, Karan closes the door and lifts the veil, He is left shocked saying that he is a very big fan of him, Karan explains that he is a very big star, so if everyone knew that it is him they will all want an autograph so he has to keep it a secret, Inspector explains that even though he is a big fan of Karan yet still they have found evidence against Preeta so he must arrest her at any cost.
The inspector says that it is her Bhabhi who has filed the complaint, Karan explains that it is what happens in any family, this means that their family has boycott him and it is because of his Bhabhi who does not want that he should marry Preeta which is why she might have done this, The inspector agrees with this however he is adamant to arrest her, Karan makes him realize that he should let her marry, so that she is not left heartbroken otherwise she might try to attempt a suicide.
Sameer is with Rishab, HE asks him what happened Rishab explains that there was no one to attend to Mahesh, he was all alone, there is not even the nurse who was supposed to do the night duty, he asks Rishab if he should park he car,
Rishab is very angry and frustrated, Samer calls Rakhi explaining that she should go and stop Preeta from getting arrested, Sherlin has blamed her for stealing their necklace, She gets very tensed asking him to go back and explain that Preeta is not a thief. He explains that he cannot go because Rishab has asked him to come with him, Rakhi asks him to remain calm and not worry as she will save her.
Rishab comes and asks why he did not go to the parking, Samer makes an excuse. Rakhi asks the driver to take her to the destination and then they have to go back.
The inspector comes out he explains that even if their son in law is such a famous person still they cannot undermine the law and have to arrest their daughter without considering their sentiments
