This is fate 26 September 2021: Maira had come to make sure Preeta does not meet anyone. She was distressed to see Preeta and Karan in an eye lock already. Preeta grabs the mic, but it does not work. She takes the attention of RJ. The family turns around and wonders how she returned. Sameer comes to help Preeta and make the mic work. The guests compliment that Preeta is extremely pretty and well deserved to be Karan’s wife. The inspector Pooja says she is Karan’s wife already. Rano aunty argues that Maira is. She brings Rakhi to confirm. Rakhi says the girl with a mic in her hand is her daughter in law.
Maira was in extreme distress that Preeta will now announce to be Karan’s wife. This is what she wanted to do.
Preeta apologizes to the guests that she had been busy fixing mic for so long, she took their precious time. The press had entered and took photos of Preeta. Maira deliberately fell on the floor, right in front of Preeta. Preeta stops everyone from taking any more pictures. She calls Sherlin to come and help her friend, as Sherlin knows her condition. Preeta wonders aloud why people drink alcohol when they are unable to handle it. It comes as a blow to Maira’s image, when said on mic. Preeta begins her introduction: I am Preeta Karan Luthra.
Namaste (greetings). People are happy when anyone marries, but not everyone is happy. Some of the people are jealous as well. Like every other girl, she dreamt that her marriage will bring happiness to a number of people. But some people are always jealous. Then she decided not to pay heed to anyone. Everyone must find in her; good behavior, ethics, and her mother’s values. She is Preeta, not Maira who is drunk today and has lost her senses.
She does not even realize she is not Karan’s wife and introduced herself as one to a number of them. Maira claims that Preeta is lying. Preeta greets the inspector from a distance, and compliments it is so nice of her to be here. Preeta now asks everyone to confirm if Maira is the daughter in law of this family.
At Malhotra house, Prithvi’s mother prepares to welcome her daughter in law. Prithvi was annoyed and himself steps in the Kumkum thaal. She questions where her daughter in law is. Prithvi says he is already tensed. He won’t handle anything else. His mother complains that Prithvi ruined everything. Pawan promises his mother to bring Preeta’s sister as her daughter in law now. Her mother says Shrishti speaks a lot, non-stop; she cannot bear her in the house. Pawan says he loved her.
Sherlin was curt that her plan backfired. Preeta is taking advantage of inspector Pooja being in the party. Preeta continues that everyone’s silence speaks volumes already. She is the legitimate wife of Karan. She laughs that she has not experienced it for the first time. She is married to a very handsome, charming and dashing personality, who is a famous cricketer of India. A meagre smile and pride fills Karan’s face. A lot of girls are crazy for Karan.
She tells Maira not to feel bad, as the relation of a celebrity and a fan does not change with Karan’s marriage. She can always be a huge fan of Karan, but she can not let her cross the fandom boundary. She will dislike if she does not maintain social distancing, because no wife would. She gives a smile to the press. Karina comes to Preeta. Preeta requests Karina to let her speak, she wants to clarify the confusions Maira created in minds of everyone here. She can not let anyone point a finger on Luthra family.
Preeta exclaims hat she does not want that their family’s name is ruined because it is a thing that doesnot leave the family’s name because she is a member of this family, Maira exclaims that she is lying as Maira got engaged and was about to marry Karan this means that Preeta is lying, Preeta asks that she would never say anything so she would request that anyone comes so that they can reveal the truth, Rano aunti comes exclaiming that she has drunk a lot and has not taken a glass but yet a bottle of wine. Rano aunti goes back and her friend exclaims that she thought why Karan married Preeta but now seeing what kind of a person Maira she is relieved, Maira gets angry demanding why she said that Maira is not the right person for Karan, Ramona and Sherlin take Maira away even when she does not want to.
Preeta exclaims that it is nothing to worry about as Maira was drunk so she is no longer in her senses, Rano aunti mentions that she has a really open heart as if there was someone else, she would have had her beaten up and they also can help her in beating Maira.
Rano praises Preeta at which Janki mentions that it si all because of her Sarla aurora and she has made sure that her daughters have the best upbringing, then Shrishti also explains that her sister is the best person in the world.
Sameer comes to the stage and taking the mike demands that both Karan and Preeta dance as it would make the party a little lively. Sherlin and Ramona forcefully bring Maira into the room, Maira questions why did they bring her as Preeta was the one who threw the wine on her clothes and it was her plan to make sure that Maira is seen as a villain however Sherlin and Ramona exclaim that she should change as no one would believe her that Preeta did this to her,
Maira mentions that she has done a lot for the family so they should listen to her but Sherlin explains that just as she cannot tell that she got Preeta kidnapped they can also not say that it was Preeta behind everything, Ramona sends Maira to change her clothes before leaving the room. Sherlin wonders that till the time Maira changes her clothes Preeta would make sure that everything goes back to normal which would ruin her entire plan.
Karan and Preeta start their dance, he inquires where she had gone, Preeta exclaims that this means he was missing her which is relevant with his questions however he refutes her statements saying that he did not miss her, Preeta exclaims that she knows he was missing her when she was not around, Karan does not believe it but cannot take his eyes off her, Karan mentions that she would have listened when she married Karan who was the dream of every bachelorette.
However Preeta is still dancing, Sameer also demands that Shrishti dance with him, Sanjana and Karina are shocked to see Shrishti is dancing with Sameer, Sanjana exclaims that she should make sure that Shrishti is not able to marry Sameer, Karina also vows to not let her in their house.
Rano advises Rakhi to arrange the function once more as Maira ruined the function so she should arrange another one, Rakhi asks Bani Dadi to come with her, she mentions that she knows that they arranged the function but were not able to fulfill the rituals so they would do t once again, Dadi agrees but Karina does not believe what she heard, then inquires why Dadi allowed Rakhi to hold another function at which Dadi mentions that she thought Rakhi was right so she allowed her.
Shrishti and Sameer leave the dance floor so when Preeta and Karan end their dance everyone starts applauding them both.
Sherlin exclaims that she cannot fulfill her plan because of Maira and cannot even contact Prithvi as he is not answering her calls, Sanjana hears her exclaiming this so is shocked of what her daughter is planning.
Sarla is sitting on the sofa wondering what she can do to make sure that Preeta settles in her life, Ganesh brings her the phone and she answers the call to find the Ranouka about how her life if, she mentions that her daughter does not think of her own family, Sarla mentions that it would not take a lot time and she would also have her own grand children really soon. They then invite Sarla to come to their house on zee from 7 pm.
Sanjana inquires why Sherlin is still in contact with Prithvi as he is not the right person, Sherlin exclaims that she is in love with Prithvi and cannot live without him however Sanjana believes that he is just using her, Sherlin responds that she is talking just like Prithvi’s mother as she also does not like Sherlin. Sanjana exclaims that she is living a peaceful life in the Luthra house so why did she involve herself in Maira’s plan with Pawan when she knows how psychotic he is as Maira would loose the battle herself and also take Sherlin down with herself, Ramona enters the room from behind exclaiming that Sanjana has played a wonderful game and is now trying to back out.

Sanjana exclaims that Sherlin should not also say that she has a relation with Maira, Ramona comes from behind mentioning that she never felt that Sanjana would have said all those things as she has come to know who pretends to care for their benefit, Sanjana turns to Sherlin exclaiming that she doesnot want that her daughter ruins her life as Maira is a steep hill and if she stays on the side of Maira she will ruin her reputation in the Luthra family, Maira comes out of the bathroom and after the conversation between Sanjana and Sherlin leaves the room, while both Ramona and Sherlin run after her.
Preeta is meeting with the guests, Karan is standing when Rishab comes to him, he tries to make Karan drink some water so that he can calm himself down but Karan refuses to acceopt that he has any
feelings for Preeta explaining that the dance was just the responsibility which he had to fulfil, then Karan mentions that he cannot see after looking into the eyes of Preeta, he makes an excuse mentioning that she wears a lot of Kajal and so he cannot look away from her eyes.
Sarla praises Preeta mentioning that she looks really nice with Karan then the police inspector comes asking how she hurt her head, she mentions that she got injured while working for the function, the inspector says that she is only a phone call away so if she needs her help then should call her, then she leaves mentioning that she has a lot of work in the police station.
Shrishti asks that why did she not tell the inspector about the truth relating to Maira, Preeta mentions that she did not have any proof so would wait to search for the truth, Karan comes mentioning that she has something to discuss with Preeta.
He inquires why did she leave the function and where did she go, Preeta says that this means that he was missing her when she was not present so they start the discussion,
Preeta even takes the hand of Karan when he exclaims that he knew that she was not the one dancing with him when he took the hand of Maira, they both are talking when Maira gets angry and is about to leave so Karan asks what it was, he once again demands her where she had gone, Karina and Dadi also inquire her, she explains that she was feeling suffocated in the house so had left because she gets uncomfortable when Maira is around her, Rakhi mentions that this means Sarla was right about Preeta’s feelings,
she then goes to the stage announcing that they were not able to fulfil the rituals of their family so they would perform the functions once again tomorrow, she explains that they would be wondering that they have seen her face but there is also a ritual where the bride and groom have to find the rings so they would hold the function once again.
Maira after hearing the news goes to Karan exclaiming that he has wronged her, Karan goes after her mentioning that he has not told anything to Preeta about the letter because he knows that it was not her hand writing so she should step away and let the things work as they are at the moment.
Sarla says to Preeta that she is about to leave and she must remain honest and fight Sherlin and Maira with all the strength because she will not be able to live without any problem so mustremain calm, then Sameer comes saying that the cab has come so they should go, Preeta advises Sameer to not sya anything about what has happened, he also promises her.
Rishab is on the phone with Karan who comes behind him in the room of Sameer, Karan mentions that he cannot understand what Preeta is doing because she is taking over all of his room so he cannot understand how he will control her, Rishab says that women are involved in every matter of the man so they should let them as if they try to stop women then they would come back and ruin their lives however this cannot be the case, Rishab asks him if Preeta told where she was, Karan mentions that he asked her but she mentioned that she went out as she was not feeling well in the house but not informed him, karan says that he knows Maira had something to do with it because she as wearing a sarree that was the same as Preeta but did not belong to Preeta so he doesnot know what happened,
Sameer comes and jokes that he might have come into some other room, Rishab and Karan both ask him about what had happened with Preeta as he is constantly In touch with Shrishti so would know what had happened with Preeta however Sameer refuses saying that he doesnot know anything but cannot look them in the eyes.
Sherlin is saying that she made a plan and even had an opportunity to make sure that Preeta doesnot stand in her way but this could not be possible as she came back, Preeta comes from behind saying that she was worried how Maira could make such an elaborate plan when she doesnot know anything about Prithvi and her relation, she threatens that had it been any other girl she would have her sent to jail but cannot do the same with Sherlin as she is the member of the Luthra family, Sherlin answers that she has also gotten a lot of attitude after marrying Karan, Preeta responds that it is the family because they all are really lovable so she cannot bear that anything wrong happens to them, she would do all that she can to protect her family from any wrong action.
