This is fate 9 october 2023: Sherlin rushes outside of the hotel and into the car, Prithvi immediately questions what has happened, she instructs him to drive fast as the person knows everything about them, Prithvi gets shocked but she starts panicking, he requests her to calm down. Janki decides to call them, meanwhile Preeta takes off the fake moustache, Janki questions if everything went according to plan when Preeta replies that they have asked for twenty crores and she is sure Sherlin would not be able to arrange such a big amount so she is surely going to tell the entire truth and they would have the recording. Janki then informs she is going to go back as Bi jee is constantly calling her and even Preeta exclaims they need to leave and she is going to get changed.
Karan insists but Rakhi is constantly denying it, Karan replies he is not sure what to do because he feels Preeta is not even serious regarding him as she no longer even fights with him but he wants her to be the old Preeta Luthra who used to fight with him with all her right but she doesnot even argue with him anymore, Rakhi suggests that he should go and ask Sameer as he would surely know the truth about Preeta but Karan replies that he is no longer their own as he spends most of his time with Preeta. Dadi and Karina are laughing with Natasha when Rakhi questions what are they laughing about when Natasha replies how she was just telling them when they got trapped in the police station and also how they thought he was about to marry her but it cannot be the truth, Preeta entering the house questions what is she saying, she then asks karan to tell her the truth about what is happening. Karan assures he is not going to assume anything so she must clarify, he thinks that she must just once say that she is not here for the money when Preeta thinks if he wants her to say it but she is not going to do anything like that. Karan stands up mentioning he wants to make an announcement which is that he is going to get engaged with Natasha tomorrow, Preeta in anger replies that she is not going to let him get engaged with anyone else, Karan also gets adamant when she leaves.

Sherlin and Prithvi enter the room, she is glad that no one saw them when Prithvi asks her to come and see what is the proof, she mentions that she is really nervous when they put the CD which plays the same recording, Sherlin exclaims she is really tensed as she informed him that the person knows the entire truth and so they must focus on him, Prithvi stands going to prepare the drink when Sherlin questions why is not tensed because they person has demanded money from them, he replies he is still not convinced when she hands him the phone number, seeing which Prithvi is shocked as this is the same number from which he used to get the calls demanding the money.
Preeta enters her room while Shristhi follows her and she explains that there is no need to take any tension as she is not going to let this engagement, Shristhi mentions they should tell karan the entire truth from day one, Preeta replies he knows the entire truth when Shristhi replies it might be that he is mistaken so they need to clarify, Shristhi explains when a relation is formed then sometimes they have to make them remember, Preeta replies she even said she came for this family while crying but even then he did not believe her, she is not going to say anything as he must himself know what she feels for him.

Preeta informs as for telling him about Rishab jee, karan would go straight to Prithvi and start beating him, after which he will get to know they are aware of his desires and so the plan would be ruined. Preeta mentions they only have five days to make sure Rishab jee returns to this house and whatever karan is doing doesnot matter, Sameer enters assuring Preeta of his support when she replies that she also needs the help of Shristhi and the three of them would surely bring Rishab jee back to this house.
Sherlin asks prithvi what will happen as the person is now going to reveal the truth, prithvi suggests that she must stay back tomorrow while he is going to go and meet with the person, she must not come before anyone but always keep an eye on them.

Preeta explains tomorrow night they are going to record the confession of Sherlin, she knows karan said he is going to get engaged with Natasha, she is not sure if he is doing this to irritate her but she needs to take care of it, Preeta informs they cannot make any mistake tomorrow as they would neither lose the proof or it would get stolen. Shristhi suggests she can go to the hotel in her place as she can take care of everything else.
Sherlin is walking when Natasha bumps into her forcing her to congratulate her as she is going to get engaged with karan tomorrow when Sherlin says there is not any reason to be so joyed as karan is really unpredictable and he might not do what he says, Natasha says that Sherlin is really bad luck for her because she spoiled her mood, Sherlin informs she is really tensed, Natasha asks the reason but Sherlin doesnot reveal it, Natasha then blames she is just jealous of her victory, Natasha calls her mother informing about her engagement.

In the morning Karina along with Dadi and Rakhi are sitting with the mother of Natasha, karan comes when Karina informs that she has come after he announced his engagement with Natasha, her mother explains she was not able to stay after knowing that he is going to get married to her daughter Preeta is really furious seeing Karan.
Karan is in his room thinking about how Sarla maa said that she cannot see tears in the eyes of Preeta just when Natasha brings the clothes for him, he explains that he was just doing this to make Preeta feel jealous since he still loves her and wants that she must come back to him, Natasha replies that she has spent a little time with him be it in the police station or the warehouse she has realized he really loves Preeta but in this process she has also started to love him but knows he only feels for Preeta. Karan questions who do he have to apologize in front of, when Natasha suggests that they started the plan to make her feel jealous so they should continue the same plan and get engaged in a fake manner but this would make Preeta come back to him as he really loves her a lot so she would surely come back to him. Natasha leaves the room.

Natasha is with her mother who questions what is she going to do because if she gets in a fake engagement then this would cause her a lot of suffering as the people in the media would write a lot of bad things when Natasha exclaims that she doesnot care about anything but wants to get married to karan even when she knows that he would never give her the same love yet she can live with that, her mother explains she has finally understood the importance of money as one can live without love but not money, she can see karan as he is madly in love with Preeta but she is just running after money, Natasha replies it is not the case as she also loves him a lot but there is something going on in her life, she is planning something big for the family which will be a big shock for them all but she doesnot care about it at this moment because she only wants to get engaged with karan, Preeta is sure he would not go ahead with it but if she doesnot come and talk with him then he is surely going to go ahead with the engagement.
Natasha explains that those people who love each other madly then after a certain point their heart and mind stops working which has happened with karan and Preeta, this is the opportunity she has been waiting for as the longer Preeta is busy, Karan will become a part of her life, her mother exclaims she prays that Preeta remain busy in the work she is doing because the engagement doesnot have any meaning so she should work to get married with karan, Natasha assures she has a rocking plan and is working on it so that Karan marries her.

Preeta is writing something when Shristhi questions what has she been writing, Preeta shows them the notebook informing she is writing the questions which she is going to ask Sherlin as if she answers all these questions then they would get the proof, Preeta explains they should leave at 9 pm when Sameer replies if it would get late, Preeta agrees explaining they should leave half an hour early while she is going to come after getting ready, Preeta sees Karan peeking through the window, she immediately starts praising Sameer and Rishab explaining they both are really intelligent and she doesnot know why Karan is like that because they do not have to tell them both anything twice but karan needs to be told things repeatedly, Karan leaves when Shristhi questions what is she saying, she doesnot understand it all when Preeta informs she changed the topic as karan was looking at them from the window so she decided to change the topic and call Sameer and Rishab jee smart, she knows he would get really jealous that she praised them because she knows he would cannot even bear a little compliment which she gives to anyone, Sameer asks what is she going to do about his engagement when Preeta replies he himself said karan is doing this all just to tease her so she doesnot have to worry about anything, they really need to focus on the success of their plan.
Karan enters the room of Rakhi exclaiming he cannot believe it all, Rakhi asks what can he not believe when Karan informs that he is getting engaged to Natasha and the entire family knows it but Preeta is not bothered as she is talking with Sameer and Shristhi, Rakhi replies that she knows them both and is aware of the fact that their ego is really big because of which they get in a fight, Rakhi explains that she feels Karan might break the heart of the other girl, karan doesnot know what she is talking about when Karan explains that nothing like this can happen to which Rakhi doesnot understand but karan informs that he has already talked with Natasha who is aware of the entire truth, she asks even then Natasha doesnot have any problem. Rakhi suggests that he should himself let go of his ego if Preeta doesnot come to stop the engagement because she cannot watch their couple get destroyed, Karan doesnot agree mentioning Preeta would have to stop his engagement, he rushes to get ready asking Rakhi to also come to the function, she tries to stop him explaining he is really stubborn.

Prithvi is in the room getting ready when Sherlin rushes inside questioning what is he doing, Prithvi doesnot understand when she explains what if the blackmailer manages to reveal the truth to the Luthra’s. Prithvi explains there is no need to be tensed as he is not going to let anyone know the truth about their secret, she must be sure of it because he has not learned to lose, he questions what time has the blackmailer given her, she replies 9:40 when Prithvi explains the engagement is at 8:40 and after that he is going to go and ruin the blackmailer so he will beg for his life.
Preeta is getting ready when karan enters the room asking if she is not worried that he is getting engaged, Preeta gets frustrated so turns back, he picks upto the clothes exclaiming he will look really good in these clothes, it is necessary as he must look nice with Natasha because they would get engaged and then married, staying in this same room as a couple so she is going to take care of him and not like her who is not even bothered, Preeta turns explaining she is really angry that he is getting engaged but he always does the opposite of what she advises him, Preeta explains he wants to know if she loves him even after so many years so she is not going to comment on love as he doesnot even trust her, he did not think she did anything to help him come out of the jail, Rakhi maa enters the room when karan asks her to see how Preeta thinks he is not as smart as Rishab, Shristhi comes running asking if Preeta has any clothes which she can wear, Karan says he is really happy so Preeta replies that even she is going to get ready. Karan rushes to the bathroom when Preeta also replies she is going to get ready in the guest room, karan replies she must stay there. Rakhi gets really worried so requests Shristhi to convince Preeta that she must not let this engagement happen when Shristhi explains even she doesnot want it but doesnot know what to do, Shristhi requests if they should leave to get ready but Rakhi gets worried.

Preeta walks out of the guest room after getting ready, prithvi stops her from behind explaining she would be really sad because her husband is getting engaged to someone else, he questions how does she manage to remain so calm even when her current husband is about to become an EX, Preeta with a smile replies that nothing of the sort will happen because she is sure the engagement would fail and she is the owner of this house, so will enjoy the party because of the guests but wants to dance with her husband. Prithvi explains she is the first girl who is smiling on the engagement of her husband as he is not marrying her again, even then she is smiling when Preeta replies this is just a laugh which she has on the thinking of people like her, Natasha also comes with Sherlin when she explains that she doesnot want any problem because today is her engagement, Preeta leaves informing that she must be mistaken so nothing like this will happen. Natasha leaves instructing them both to keep an eye on Preeta when Prithvi starts smiling explaining that now these people would also instruct them, Sherlin replies they will surely order them since they have the proof against him, Prithvi explains everyone has gone downstairs so it is time for the engagement, Sherlin questions why does he try to talk with Preeta when he replies that he feels nice after teasing her, Sherlin replies Preeta is really confident now and not the same scared girl, he blames her for becoming a coward when she questions why should she not get scared after knowing that someone knows the truth about Rishab.

Mahesh is with Rakhi who says that he is going inside but she asks him to stay he is fine and would really like what is about to happen after a while, Prithvi walks into the party with Sherlin, Kritika starts teasing him from behind. Shristhi seeing her explains she feels worried about her because what will happen when she finds out the truth about him, Preeta replies she knows it will be a shock but she has a really nice family to take care of her. Shristhi sees Karan coming so informs Preeta who then looks at him, Karan walks over to them questioning if they saw Natasha, he asks if Preeta got her kidnapped when she replies why would she do it, maybe Natasha ran away but she comes to karan questioning why will she leave when her heart has connected with him. Preeta gets really jealous seeing Natasha come so close to karan, he notices that Preeta is getting jealous, she doesnot say anything but just stares at both Karan and Natasha.
Karan asks Preeta if she saw Natasha anywhere then questions if she did anything to her when Preeta mentions she feels Natasha could have run away, Natasha coming mentions she cannot go away because her heart is close to karan and he replies that he feels she looks absolutely stunning, Natasha explains Preeta should at least once ask her to not get engaged with karan as she might not do anything then, Preeta thinks she feels Karan should do what he feels like doing, Preeta exclaims how she is going to end the engagement when Preeta is sure that Karan would not marry her as she knows him, Karan asks Preeta if she really wants him to be happy and doesnot care about anything else, she remains quiet so he explains his happiness is in this, Karan requests Natasha for a dance to which she agrees and they both walk to the center stage, Preeta standing with Shristhi looks angrily at him.

Karan starts his dance with Natasha, just to make feel Preeta really jealous, he is performing only such moves that bring them both close to each other even then he is not able to take his eyes of Natasha, Preeta is not able to bear it so removes Natasha, she herself holds the hand of Karan starting to dance with him, meanwhile Shristhi manages to change the song to a more romantic one. Preeta and karan start their performance that leaves everyone in shock and he even starts teasing her during their performance when they both feel as if nothing has happened between them. Preeta starts smiling and even Karan is enjoying it a lot. Mahesh enjoys seeing them both together. Natasha however is really frustrated to see Karan so close with Preeta as she wants to marry him. Preeta is left shocked when he suddenly gets really aggressive in the dance and she is not able to believe it, Prithvi and Kritika are also really angry. The dance performance ends when they all start clapping, Natasha tries to call Karan but he stops questioning Preeta, she is about to reveal her feelings when the Pandit jee enters the party, she gets really frustrated asking if he even called he Pandit jee when he questions if she has a problem with it all but Preeta replies she doesnot care, Karan walks over to Natasha who exclaims they are doing great as Preeta is getting really jealous, Shristhi questions what is she going to do now, as is she going to stop it when Preeta replies she will himself refuse. She stands in front of karan when he looks at Preeta then advises the Pandit jee to start the rituals, Pandit jee starts reading the Mantar then asks Karan to make Natasha wear the ring, he gets shocked as Preeta did not stop him, he doesnot know what to do meanwhile Karina asks him to perform the engagement, they all are really shocked when she walks beside him opening the box.

Natasha also forces him but he still looks at Preeta, who doesnot say anything so he picks the ring from the box, Prithvi is about to clap as karan takes his hand forward to Natasha, he puts it down when she once again signals him however, he throws the ring on the floor, everyone gets shocked when the ring lands in front of Preeta, she is delighted but he then asks her to give him the ring. Preeta looks to angrily at him, then walks picking the ring she opens her hand in front of him. He looks back at her with the same notion while picking it from her hand. Karan turns back to Natasha, he is hesitant when suddenly the police enter the house calling Natasha Khurana, they question who is she when Preeta points the finger at her, they explain she is under arrest which leaves everyone shocked.
Natasha questions what has she done since she is not a criminal, Preeta pulls the ring from the hands of karan, Preeta explains they are the police and not her relatives who have just come to make a scene out of her, she might have done anything wrong because of which they have come to arrest her, Natasha even turns to Karan for help when he questions what has she done, Shristhi replies that she believes the law of this country and so Natasha would have done something really wrong, Karina gets angry questioning how many times should she warn Shristhi to not say anything in their family matters, Shristhi questions Karina mam why does she not ask Natasha what has she done, the police explains that they have come here to arrest Natasha for the accident which she committed a few days ago Natasha replies that she has not done anything when she rushes to Sherlin warning her to make sure that she gets the bail at the earliest tomorrow because she wants to have the coffee in this house, and if this doesnot happen then she is surely going to reveal their secret infront of everyone, the police take her away. Natasha’s mother cries requesting them to help her daughter but Dadi informs she must not be worried as the lawyer would get the bail tomorrow morning.

Preeta is walking when Prithvi stop her from behind blaming that she is the one behind it all but she tries to leave saying she doesnot have time to talk with him, he questions where does she want to go so urgently because she is the one who got Natasha arrested so must reveal the secret, she used to come and challenge him on his face but why is she quiet., she replies he must not teach her the ways of a war as he usually attacks from behind but she knows of his desires so is always prepared, he requests her to be clear as he did not understand anything when Preeta replies that he along with Sherlin and Natasha are the same, this engagement was also his plan but it got ruined as he knows that she and karan are made for eachother but even then he tries his best to get them separated, but even then brought Natasha between her and Karan, she is sure he would take it to the wedding so asks if he learned the truth then why is he looking at her like this when she revealed anything, he replies he asked the simple question of what she is thinking but she revealed the entire Ramayan, he is himself going to suggest that the police that came to arrest was not the real police but fake, Preeta gets shocked hearing Prithvi.
