Ashish debates with Nandini about giving Maitree this room. Nandini suggests to Harsh that there is a closed room that no one is using and that Maitree can stay in that room if she so desires. When Ashish hears this, he goes to talk to Sona.
Ashish approaches Sona and informs her that there is an unoccupied room. Ashish suggests that one of them go remain in that room and surrender their room to Maitree and Harsh because it would be inappropriate for Maitree and Harsh to sleep outside on their first night. Sona reminds Ashish that she did not invite them here.
Sona agrees to offer Maitree and Harsh one of her rooms. She requests that Ashish give Maitree and her husband the locked room that neither of them is utilising. Ashish agrees and accepts Sona’s key. Ashish summons Maitree and Harsh. Harsh mocks Ashish. Ashish disagrees with him. Maitree comes to a halt and tells Harsh that they are getting a room and that is enough. Ashish comes to a halt near Saransh’s room. He informs Maitree that just this room is vacant and that they must adjust in this room.Maitree is taken aback. Ashish hands over the key to Maitree and departs. Maitree is taken aback as she enters Saransh’s chamber. Madan orders Sona to quit making a scene wherever she goes. Sona claims ownership. Maitree walks into the room. She removes Saransh’s photograph from the wall. Sona inquires as to why Maitree removed her son’s photograph from the room. Maitree says she’ll put Saransh’s portrait back where it belongs. She places it in the corridor. Sona requests that Maitree not instruct her where she must place her son’s photograph. Madan claims that Maitree granted Saransh his freedom. He bestows blessings on Maitree. Harsh tells Maitree that he is glad she is moving on and forgetting her past. Maitree beams.
Harsh assists Maitree with the cleaning of their room. Harsh wonders how she manages to do everything without fighting. Maitree says it’s decided that we’ll stay here, so it’s best if we don’t argue with them, and it’ll be difficult but not impossible. She feels a mild shock. Harsh believes in her. He declares that the room is ready. Maitree adds there is one more thing. She persuades Madan and Kamna to remain at Saransh’s chamber. Ashish beams with delight upon witnessing it. Sona becomes enraged.
Ashish smiles as he enters the room. Nandini inquires as to why he is smiling. According to Ashish, Maitree and Harsh have a solid understanding and make a nice couple. He suggests that they plan the first night for Maitree and Harsh. Nandini says she would not support him and wonders if he has ever supported her as Harsh does his wife. Ashish observes her and then departs.
Sona believes Maitree blew the plan by allowing Madan and his wife to stay. Maitree and Harsh made their bed in the corridor. Ashish arrives and informs Maitree that he has a surprise for her. Ashish invites Maitree and Harsh to the terrace to witness their surprise. Harsh and Maitree arrive at the terrace and are overjoyed to find the adorned terrace for their suhaagrat. Maitree compliments Ashish and expresses surprise that he is so gifted. Ashish claims he worked hard and tells Harsh they can start over. Harsh concurs. Nandini notices everything and complains to Sona about it. Sona claims that Ashish cannot be with them all of the time and that I will bring this illegitimate family to their home.
