Our perfect place 15 April 2020: Rita finds that the kids are unwilling to sleep until niranjan comes, who meanwhile is being reprimanded by ila, when she catches him red handed with maaya, and he tries to give all sorts of excuses.

Rita calls him up, and he assures that he shall come late, and asks them to go to bed, so that they can wake up with dolls tomorrow. after he is done, he tries to emotionally manipulate ila to not tell anything to rita. but ila is adamant that she wont lie, and rushes off. he is tensed.
rita notices the car honking and coming in, and the kids immediately out of bed. they rush while she rushes after them. but its ila, and they ask her about niranjan. they are sad when it isnt him. rita comforts them and assures that they shall get their dolls.
ila then apologises to rita, for such a behaviour, as she is tensed. rita says that she can see and asks whats the matter. ila doesnt respond, but then gives an excuse and leaves. rita too goes to put the kids to bed. after they go, ila collapses on the dining table, uncontrollably in tears. she wonders what to do to save this marriage, nor fulfill her promise to govardhan and comments as to how everything is over. rita hears this from a distance and is tensed. ila notices her, as rita comes and confronts her. before she can say anything, rita comes and asks why is she crying. ila is relieved that rita didnt hear anything. she also discusses this situation with gayatri, and they get tensed too.
Later, whil;e ilais emotionally distraught in her room, regarding niranjan’s secrets, she gets his call, trying to emotionally blackmail her, but doesnt budge in. niranjan is frustrated.

The next morning, by the temple, ila prays to the lord asking her to give her the strength needed to be able to to tell rita the truth, saying that she has no clue whats going to be the implication of what she does. she says that she has promised rita and cant lie to her. just then, a distraught and dishevelled rita is tensed that niranjan did not come, all night and hasnt been picking up the call. ila asks her not to be scared, as everything is okay. rita asks for a doctor, as the kids are having high fever, and how they are awake and want their father with the doll. she says that she doesnt know what to do. she gives ila her own number.
ila takes her inside, to give the doctor’s number, and then tries it herself, and tells him to come home. she tells rita that he is coming. rita then asks what she wanted to say.
ila lies that she has sent him somewhere. rita asks how for the entire night. ila gives some other excuse and shuts her up, asking her to prioritise the kids first.
In their room, the kids insist on having niranjan. ila assures that he shall come and tries to distract them all. she eyes rita, who is tensed herself. the kids are taken to ila’s room, while they continue insisting. ila is distraught. she tries niranjan’s number, who was sleeping in the car, having purchased the dolls. he says that he is right behind the house. she tells him about the kids’ condition, and asks him to come. he says that he wont come till she promises that she wont tell rita.
she gets angry but he stays adamant. he tries to emotionally manipulate her. she is distraught wondering what to do now. she talks to govardhan’s pic to try and get out of the dilemma. rita again comes and asks if she had a talk with him. ila gets tensed. rita asks again, and also as to why is she so tensed. ila says that she shall tell the truth. along with rita, ila sits down to explain everything. rita asks her to hurry up. ila eyes her puzzled.
Rita reprimands ila as to how she is prioritising her owrk over the condition of the kids, and asks her to tell him to come home asap. saying so, she hastily rushes out. ila is tensed.
Gayatri serves tea to parimal, while hastily trying to go to ila, but he makes her sit down citing some work. he starts talking about the colours of the puna flat. she gets tensed. again they get into a verbal discussion, as she tries to skirt off the issue. but he is insistent. she thinks that painting shall take a week, so that she can prolong it. she says that she didnt like it. he asks her to select one. but she asks him to get more options. when he resists, she tries to emotionally manipulate him. he understands what she is trying to do, and reprimands her for not trying to be over smart. there is a knock and he goes to check.
The doctor arrives, and rita hastily takes him in.MEanwhile, niranjan eyes the pics of his kids, and is highly emotional. inside, the doctor treats her and then administers the kids with meds. bijal is detected with viral, and the doctor prescribes whatever is needed to, adding some reports too. he then leaves. gayatri assures that the kids shall be fine. rita hastily goes in to be with them. then gayatri talks to ila and asks her not to worry, as the kids would be fine. she understands that its more than whats boggling ila.
Later, ila calls him, and niranjan hastily asks questions. he continues to be emotional, while she says that she cant listen to this, as she cant lie to rita. gayatri comes and hears this, that he has betrayed rita and she shall tell her about maya. she is shocked, while ila collapses. she is tensed.
Later, when he doesnt return at all, rita starts getting tensed. gayatri comes and checks on the kids. she tries to feed them too. the kids insistence makes her irritated furthermore. ila comes and the kids ask her to get him. rita too asks her for the phone number of the place where she has sent him. ila remains silent and Then goes inside. rita asks whats going on. gayatri distracts rita while ila rushes away. rita vents out her frustration, gayatri goes to check on ila. but she shuts the door on her. she understands that ila is tensed about maya case, while rita doesnt understand. she wonders how to explain it to her.

Rita and gayatri sit tensedly, while the kids get excited when niranjan comes back home, tearfully. noone says anything. gayatri watches him in disgust. rita eyes him tensedly. niranjan after giving them the dolls leaves for ila’s room. gayatri is apalled at what rita is going through, and what shall happen to her when she knows the truth.
Later at night, niranjan sits with the kids, when rita returns back, and they both together take care of the kids and put them to sleep. after that, rita tries to go, but niranjan holds her back. she gets tensed and turns around, jerking her hand away and leaves. he gets tensed. they both sleep, with the kids in between them. niranjan is in grave tears. after rita doses off, he goes to ila’s room, and finds her sitting wide awake.
she eyes him tensedly. he says that he did everything that she wanted, but now she needs to comply to his wish. she asks him to be clear on what she is saying, and that rita shouldnt cry anymore, and if he fails in this by even a percent, then there would be dire consequences, and she shall always have eyes on him. he stands shamefacedly.
The next morning, the ladies all pray together at the temple. rita comes and apologises to ila, for having misbehaved with her the earlier day, even though she wasnt at fault, and was herself tensed. gayatri comes and tells her that ila isnt angry or miffed at her at all. she asks ila to speak up. she finally blurts out that she mey maya last night. rita is stunned into silence. she adds that she neednt be tensed as niranjan and maya arent having an affair, and it might seem disbelieving to her, but maya is happily married, and there are no connections between them. gayatri is shocked at this turn of events. rita smiles, and ila too smiles and hugs her. gayatri is stunned. she wonders how can ila lie standing in the temple.
Meanwhile, niranjan is busy with kids, when rita comes with a smile. the kids are sent off to their room, by him, after which they both eye each other tensedly, while she remembers what ila told her at the temple, to start afresh in life, with him. he comes to her and asks her to get ready for the rehearsal, as he shall drop her, after they have breakfast together, which he leaves to get. but she holds him, and apologises for doubting. he apologises too, saying that he didnt understand her anger and frustration, and instead reprimanded her, that things got out of proportion. he promises to love her till the end, and says that now noone can come between them. she smiles through her tears. he asks her to close her eyes. when she complies. he goes aside, and comes to confront her, and presents her jewellery as a gift. she smiles. then he helps her wear the new earrings he bought for her. she compliments them, and says that she just needs this love of his. he kisses her on the forehead. she hugs him and he comforts her.
Gayatri hastily rushes to her own room, unable to believe what just happened, as she remembers the phone call earlier. she breaks into tears, and doesnt even hear parimal coming in asking her to finalise on the colours. when she realises his presence, she says that she wishes to go to pune today only, and that they can finish up the paint work there only, as she doesnt want to stay here anymore. he calms her down and asks whats the matter and if anyone said anything.
she hugs him and starts crying inconsolably. he comforts her and gives her a glass of water, and complies to going to pune, and asks her whats the matter. she says that she has had enough of this joint family, and that she never paid attention to his advise, to stop seeing the dream of a joint family, as she only was convinced by ila, who she presumed considered them as her daughters, and believed in her love for them. she reminds how proud she was at ila’s stance for rita in front of niranjan, but what she did today broke all faith she had, and shook the basic existence of their relationship and hence doesnt want to stay here.
he tensedly asks her to calm down and explain everything. she then starts narrating everything. she sdays that the truth is niranjan has betrayed rita. he refuses to believe this. she takes it on herself saying that this means she is lying, as his mother cant. he says that he didnt mean that, and that maybe its a misunderstanding, and there must be more to the matter than what seems the eye. she says that she knows about the affair. he asks her how does she know. she then tells everything, about ila’s investigation and her meeting with maya, after which she lied, that she didnt even meet maya. she talks about the tension ila was in, and presumed it was because she was mustering the courage to speak to rita.
gayatri asks how could she only think of niranjan, her son, as rita too is someone’s daughter and deserved to know the truth and that she has no right to spoil rita’s life. he eyes her tensedly. he asks her to stop, as he wont stand another word against his mother. she asks if he thinks she likes it, and thats why she doesnt want to stay here, and shall leave. she starts packing, while he hollers for her. he tries to calm her down, saying that they wont go, after she wrongly accuses his mother. she says that he only wanted her to go.
he says that not on wrong accusations, and she should prove it, or else not place such accusations. she says that she wont wont prove anything. she asks him to stay here if he so wishes but she wont. he holds her by the hand and wrenches her, saying that either she takes the blame back or else she stays and proves it and till then neither he nor she shall leave. he walks out..
