Our perfect place 26 April 2020: Niranjan wakes up hearing Rita’s phone call. He hurriedly wears clothes and picks Rita’s call. Rita scolds if he was sleeping, she called him 100 times and sent 50 messages, why did not he reply.
He says he is having throat infection. She asks why is he getting silent often, she needed his opinion in selecting costumes. Her friend asks her to relax as her husband is in a meeting.. Rita says she is feeling in the heart that something wrong is happening to her. Friend says she should give space to her husband and not suffocate him.
Niranjan looks at Maya with tears and walks out of room. Rita reminisces her friend’s words not to hold her husband and suffocate him. Maya continues crying and Niranjan still in Maya’s house stands tensed.
Rahul returns from police station. Sameer asks if Uday’s video is removed from internet. Rahul says not yet completely, but inspector is Parimal’s friend, so handling issue well. He hopes Parimal or Uday doesn’t see video. Ila sends Uday to speak to them, but they both walk in angrily. Ila asks them why are they so angry on Uday. They say Uday does not deserve their love after his mistakes. Ila says if bapuji had not forgiven them for their mistakes, what would they have done. Uday is close to them more and they should not let him do more mistakes. They both go back. Uday apologizes them. They ask him to do situps and say sorry. Uday does and eventually shouts sorry. They both ask him to relax and laugh.
Gayatri tells Ila that Uday is getting closer to family after this incident. Ila says whole family is getting closer and sethji/bapuji’s dream of sanyukt parivar is coming true.
Uday goes to Parimal’s room and tells he was running behind his dream of becoming musician and hurt him so much, he just needed his support. He needs back his papa and not this music, he breaks his guitar.
Sameer sees new year wishes 300 messages from his friends and replies them. Rahula sks him if he will reply them all. Sameer says yes as they took time to send him message and asks if does not send messages to his friends. Rahul says he does not have friend.
Sameer says he is busy with his ex-girlfriend’s memories, so he is always occupied. Rahul jokes and leaves. Sameer then gets his college female friend’s video message in which she speaks t him excitedly and says they did not meet since class 12th, etc.., says she has opened some cafe and he needs to attend party. He reminisces meeting her and she explaining him something and he just staring at her, revealing he loves her.
Ila goes to Rahul’s room and asks why did he break guitar. Rahul cries in front of Ila that papa did not forgive him, his music is a hurdle and he will concentrate on studies. Parimal hears that and gets teary eyed. Gayatri asks him to stop crying, go and hug Uday. Parimal says he does not know if Uday is really repenting or just acting, so he will not.
Rita’s children ask her when will papa come. She says papa is busy in meeting and makes them sleep. Niranjan sitting in garden reminisces his one-night stand with Maya. Rahul reminsisces his happier days with his girlfriend Tanu. He goes into flashback where he gives her a surprise party on a new year’s eve. Their romance starts with expression of love for each other.
Tanu asks him to kiss. He says not before marriage. She insists. He resists. She sees passer by youngters, stops them and requests a kiss. A boy is about to kiss her when Rahul runs and asks youngsters to leave. He warns Tanu not to do this again.
Rahul holds Tanu’s hand and takes her back to canopy and makes her sit on a chair. A romantic song plays in the background. He brings cake and makes her cut. Their romantic date continues. Rahul gets out of his flashback, gets heavily inebriated and collapses on floor murmuring I love yout Tanu. Ila sees him on floor and helps him sleep on bed.
In the morning, Ila does god’s aarti with Rita and Gayatri behind her. Gayatri goes to Uday’s room and sees him still sleeping. He sleeps on her lap and asks her to wake him up soon as he has to study for his exams after 2 months and he did not study for whole year. Gayatri prays god to keep his son like this forever.
Ila continues praying god and confronts that she cannot see Rahul suffering like this. If god is punishing Rahul because she and setji did not approve Rahul and Tanu’s relationship. She will repent for her mistake and will walk barefooted until her son gets back happiness. He confrontation continues.
Niranjan’s children get ready for school and ask Rita when will papa wake up. Rita says papa is tired after long business meeting. Nirajan wakes up and says he will drop them to school. Children say they know he is tired, so he can rest. They leave. Reeta holds his hand and says she knows he is angry on her and what she should do to convince him. He says he will take a shower and leaves. She reminisces her friend’s words that she should not suffocate her husand so much that he will suffocate and try to run away from her.
Ila sees Uday studying and tells Parimal that his son is working so hard just for him. Parimal leaves. Ila consoles Uday not to get disheartened and continue his hard work, Parimal will soften soon.
Sameer goes to Rahul’s room and wakes him up and says it is too late. Rahul says he does not have any meetings. Sameer says he has though and asks him to drop him as his bike’s spark plug has malfunctioned. Rahul says he can take taxi. Sameer insists. Rahul agrees. They both get ready and leave in jeep.
Ila prays god to make Rahul forget Tanu and move on in life. She starts revolving around temple holding pooja thali and praying. Sameer and Rahul reach venue and Sameer goes in. Rahul walks and clashes with Sameer’s friend. He imagines Tanu in her they way she speaks. Her books fall and she says books are lakshmi and they should respect it, she prays god to forgive them.
He reminisces Tanu doing same. Sameer’s friend continues talking like Tanu and Rahul imainges Tanu in her silently. Friend thinks Rahul is dumb and dead. Her friend comes. She tells that she yelled at a dumb and deaf man. Friend says to forget it then. She tells he can see her expressions though. She behaves well and walks in. Ila feels dizzy and is about to fall. She holds pipe and sits on floor. Rahul stands imaging Tanu.
