Once there was a King 31 May 2021: Raja says Naina can’t leave after bringing them here. Naina and Rekha join everyone. Raja stares at Naina playing with everyone.
In the evening, Laila was unable to eat Paani Poori. Raja hands her a tissue, then helps Naina a sip of water from the bottle. Later they were walking side by side. In the sitting area, Rani points at Laila to watch Raja who sat in a serious mood. Naina and Rekha sings in competition. Laila stares at Lotus who begins the song Laila o Laila, when Laila finally laughs they continue the singing. Naina and Rekha were stuck with the next word, Naina finally remembers a song. Raja gets attentive. Raja sings for the next word ‘Sanam hua re’. Laila was much drunk by now and continues the song as she walks towards Raja. Raja comes to hold her as she loses her balance. Laila hugs him, confessing her love for him.

In the car, Laila lay drunk singing the song. She confesses her love to Raja, as he has made her really happy today. Naina tells Raja that a person’s emotions are his truth, Laila’s emotions are really true.In the palace, Nani tells Mummy she doesn’t need do any chores. Mummy says she is doing this all happily, as they have done a lot for them. She is a junior artist and always hold a minor role. Nani is really a senior one and realized Naina’s love for Raja, but she doesn’t want her daughter hold any relation with a don. Naina tries to convince Raja is not a bad person. They discuss they can change a bit about their children’s life.
In the car, Vikrant says they have reached home.
Raja takes Laila to the room. Naina tells Raja that Laila has waited a lot for him, maybe he gets his happiness from Laila. Laila again murmurs I love you to Raja.
There, Nani asks Raja why he always play with Laila. Raja says he doesn’t intend to hurt Laila. Nani asks him to hold Laila’s hand right away and take the vows with him, or he can at least put a ring of his name into her finger. These petty rituals hold great strength. Naina hears this and was upset. Raja replies he needs to think about it.Mummy comes to Naina and finds her lost in thought.
In the room, Raja thinks about Rani’s advice of moving on in life. Raja thinks dreams always tell the truth, he closes his eyes and wonders why he always think about that same face; in his dreams with his open eyes. How can he agree to marry Laila then?Naina requests to lay into her lap in bed. Naina remembers about the day. Mummy tells Naina everything would be fine if Raja marries Laila. Naina closes her eyes and can think about Raja only. She opens her eyes.The next morning, the goons bring money to Raja and discuss about business matters.
Naina finds him during his goon-ship; she objects why he is getting someone beaten up. Raja says he wants boys to study in such age. Naina says he holds Raja as ideal, and if the boy works with guns he would learn to shed blood and not to study. She then scolds the boy. The boy asks Naina if she also holds a gang. Naina offers him to go to shooting with her, and there he can do it in movies.
In the palace, Raja and Naina hit each other. Raja scolds her, Naina was offensive and says he always enters her dreams. Raja says it’s not a good thing to enter his dreams as well, as she does. He then clarifies he doesn’t care whom she see in her dreams. He promises to stay away from her this time.
Naina wonders what wrong she did this time.Naina was sitting with Rekha, cutting karela. She was bitter about don. Naina shares with Rekha about having a dream about someone. They discuss about dreaming heros. Naina was upset she has Raja in her dreams and not any hero. Rekha teases Naina.In the garden, Naina speaks to flowers if she had no off from her shoot, she wouldn’t have the outing then Raja in his dreams. The boy being beaten comes there, Naina comes to inquire about him, she then curses Raja.
Nani asks Raja if he has taken the gun back from his men. Raja says he did this because that teenager boy took life of an on-duty police officer, Naina has nothing to do with his life. Nani leaves, while Raja’s head bang with thoughts of Laila.
Naina calls from behind that Raja lost, she came into his talks. Raja doesn’t understand, Naina asks if he lied to her but she came to know already he made her dream of heroine come true. He always say he doesn’t care, but she is aware he cares; else he would never have done this all. She joins her hands to him, and thanks him as she could never make her dreams come true in spite of much struggle. Raja leaves the room.
Laila was setting cards in her room when Raja enters, he says no matter how much time he takes he would never loveher. He doesn’t want to love, he is on a height and doesn’t want to fall, not even in love. Is she ready to marry a man who is not ready to love her at all? Laila was elated and hugs Raja, saying a yes abruptly. Raja tells her to get ready then.
In the hall, everyone wonders why Raja has called them all. Raja and Laila come downstairs hand in hand, Laila almost jumping out of happiness. She announces about her and Raja’s engagement. Naina was taken aback and stares towards Raja only. Laila comes to hug Naina thanking her to make it possible, Naina changed Raja’s heart in a few days. Tears fill Naina’s eyes. Raja puts a ring into Laila’s hand, she boasts about it showing it to Naina. Naina claps for them along with everyone. Rekha silently asks why Naina was upset, Naina lies that she only wanted this.
Raja announces about his decision to marry Laila tomorrow. Naina wonders why she feels bad about their marriage. Laila wonders how this wedding can take place tomorrow, Naina agrees Laila is going to get her dreams come true. Marriage is a dream of every girl, along with all the rituals, her loved ones and her dream man. Raja says relations are true, dreams never come true. He allows Laila to do whatever she wants to, but the wedding must take place tomorrow.
Laila comes to Naina who comes out of a trance, Laila inquire why is Raja upset with Naina. Is there something Laila must know? Mummy asks what could possible take place between them, Laila knows Raja better, he can be angry at anyone anytime. Nani comes to calm Laila down. Vikrant and Rekha leave for wedding preparations and take Naina along.
Vikrant and Rekha announce a game in which two people had to pick chits and play together. Raja denies to play, as no one can run by their hand and feet tied. Vikrant and Rekha insists on him to play, Raja finally agrees. Vikrant distributes the chits, Mummy and Nani were partners, Rekha and Laila were partners too, and last pairing was Raja and Rani. Nani and Laila suggests about changing the pairs but Vikrant wasn’t ready. During the game, Vikrant makes Raja and Naina hold hands with each other to get tied. Naina was upset watching this.
The whistle blows, everyone begin to run except Raja and Naina. Nani slips in the middle of the game, Laila’s attention was all over Naina and Raja who were slow and walked together. Rani slips in the midst, Raja fells over her. Nani shouts at them to stop this game, Vikrant says the game has already stopped and Laila has won. Laila thinks why she feels she has lost something.
During the wedding function, Rekha and Vikrant dance. Nani comes to ask about Laila. In the room, Naina was helping Laila get ready. Laila was excited in disbelief. A pin pricks Naina, Laila was concerned but she says her pains are so huge she didn’t feel about it. Nani takes Laila downstairs, Naina thinks about herself and Raja. There, Raja was drinking, thinking about Naina.
