Once there was a king 23 January 2022: Rana ji removes the mask off Jhumki’s face. Everyone is shocked. He holds her neck and asks who she is. Gayatri goes to losen his grip saying she will die. Rana ji says he won’t lose her, she played with his emotions about Sulakshna. Gayatri asks him to lose her, she is just a card in the game, and answers are not asked by the players but captains. Jhumki cries and says she is a drama girl, no one sent her here. She had heard that he loved his first wife, she came here to take an advantage of this.
She cries that she had got blinded in the love of money. Gayatri says she is lying. Raaj Mata says a drama girl can’t do such a big planning, someone is behind it. Bari Rani maa asks her to admit she wants to call her the betrayer. Raaj Mata asks Bari Rani maa to stop it, she was about to get Gayatri electric shocks, she could have died. Bari Rani maa asks why she wants her to prove her an enemy of Gayatri and Rana ji. Bari Rani maa says she can also accuse Raaj Mata that she gave false medicines to Gayatri. She accepts that she was wrong and thought of this drama girl as Sulakshna and brought her here. She questions Rana ji, if he accepted her as Sulakshna only on her words.
She says if he can be betrayed, can’t she be betrayed at all. Cheetah heard this all, he thinks there is always a drama in this palace.Gayatri says she found the veil in her room, they had not told anyone about the blast. How she knew about it then. Rana ji takes Jumki to the hall, throws her on the floor and gets a gun pointing at her. Everyone gather there. Jhumki cries no. Rana ji says if this woman can’t tell him the truth, its better she dies. Jhumki cries and asks Bari Rani maa to save her. Bari Rani maa says a lot of accusations came on her because of Jhumki, she won’t save her. Jhumki asks Kunwar ji who says he would have killed her by himself. Gayatri pleads Rana ji not to kill her.
Rana ji says he won’t kill her, but he will give her so much pain that she will tell the truth. Jumki agrees to tell him and says his own Bari Rani maa brought her to the palace. Rana ji looks at Gayatri. Jhumki says Bari Rani maa put her in greed of money, made the mask of Sulakshna, taught her the ways of Sulakshna. Gayatri isn’t mad, she was saying the truth. This all is the planning of Bari rani maa. Rana ji asks Bari Rani maa? Bari Rani maa claps, she says wow Rana ji. She begins crying, saying this is what he is paying of her motherhood and love. He doubted her on the words of a dancer only. Had she taken the name of his mother, he would have killed her by now.
But on her name, he didn’t feel anger because she is a step grandmother not the real. Gayatri joins hands at her that her game has ended now. Bari Rani maa says if Rana ji suspects her loyalty, she will prove her loyalty to him. She cries loud and goes out of the palace, smiling.She goes out with the oil can, crying loud. She empties the oil can on herself. Rana ji runs out. Bari Rani maa says her death would be the proof that she only wanted love from her family and she couldn’t even get that. Rana ji and Gayatri are shocked watching Bari Rani maa. Kunwar ji and Kokilla are shocked. Bari Raani maa lighst a matchstick and throws it on the ground, she gets into fire.
Rana ji and everyone run there and asks for water. Rana ji tries to put the fire off with his coat. Bari Rani maa cries. Gayatri goes to help Rana ji but Raaj Mata stops her. Rana ji puts the fire off. He calls for the doctor and holds Bari rani maa in his arms to the palace.The doctors put on oxygen mask on Bari Rani maa. Gayatri looks at Rana ji who stood upset. The doctor says the bruises aren’t deep. Kokilla is happy. The doctor says it will take time to recover in such an age. Rana ji goes to keep a hand on Bari Rani maa’s head, and caresses her. Gayatri keeps a hand on his shoulder.
Jhumki pleads the guards to leave her, she is innocent. Rana ji and Gayatri goes to her. Rana ji stops the guards and tells them to lock Jhumki in the dark jail, she will spend the rest of her life there. Jhumki says that the real culprit is Bari Rani maa. Rana ji says Bari Rani maa is a devi who just testified herself. Jhumki says she is doing a drama. Rana ji stops her at once and tells them to take her from here. The doctor comes there and says Bari Rani maa won’t be able to walk for few days because of burning her feet.Gayatri comes to Bari Rani maa’s room who was speaking in her sleep. She removes the mask, keeps a hand on her head and asks if she is fine.

He puts on her oxygen mask again and tells her to take rest. Gayatri leaves the room.
Swarna was in her room ready to change. Cheetah enters the room, Swarna is alert and asks how he dare enter the room without knocking. Cheetah says he enters the rooms and heart, both, without knocking. Swarna asks him to apologize. He asks her to forgive him, this mistake would be repeated for sure. Swarna tells him to go out. He says it would be difficult for him if he goes out, she tells him to put his bed on here and sleep. She forbids him to talk to her. He turns around, then comes near her. She lay on bed trying to avoid him but he picks a pillow and tells her not to worry as he won’t touch her her until she wants to.
Raaj Mata says to Gayatri that Bari Rani maa has woven the net of love aroud Rana ji, but if Bari Rani maa is playing we must also plan something.Cheetah asks Swarna if she believes in him. She says not at all. He says if relations are like hers, she can’t believe anyone. Beggars are better than Rajputs, atleast they have loyal relations. Swarna cries that he is right, in this palace there is husband, relations but no one is there for the other one. Cheetah tells her that it is really late, she must sleep now. Swarna wipes her tears.Rana ji sits beside Bari Rani maa thinking how she took care of him when he was a child and Raaj mata was busy in administrative works.
His tears fell on her hand, Gayatri enters the room then. Rana ji says she has completed the responsibilities of grandmother, not she must see how this grandson takes care of her. Gayatri comes and keep a hand on Rana ji’s shoulder, she thinks Raaj Mata was right that Bari Rani maa is a trained player. Now it is time for old players to play new games.
In the morning, Swarna was asleep on bed while Cheetah was sleeping on the floor. Kunwar ji and Kokilla come talking to each other what Cheetah is doing, will he give an heir to them or not. Cheetah hear this, he unlocks the door, and jumps on the bed, shuts Swarna’s mouth tight as he lays with her. Kunwar ji and Kokilla enters the room. Kunwar ji says one must do this all at night, not day.
Cheetah says this is done when the heart calls, but they have interfered now. They leave happily. Cheetah apologizes Swarna and says it could have been really bad for her had they caught them. He tells Swarna he isn’t that bad a man, picks his beddings and comes to help Swarna too. He sits beside Swarna saying he can’t guarantee a girl or a boy. Swarna asks if he is done. Laksh enters the room then. He comes inside and asks Cheetah what he is doing here. Cheetah says he is doing overtime. Laksh comes to Swarna and asks why they slept so late. Cheetah speaks he was telling her tales about his village. He throws a vase nearby threatening Swarna and leaves.
Yashoda enters the room, and asks Swarna about Cheetah. Swarna says he is a servant, she is leaving for temple with him.
Gayatri comes to Bari Rani maa and takes her soup from the nurse saying she will feed her. She says to Bari Rani maa that she has finally won, but she hasn’t lost yet. She was newly married, it took her time to learn what happens here. She has now learned that here, fights are won not by bravery but cunningness. It is said that children must follow elder’s ways. Now she knows how she would uncover her in front of Rana ji. Bari Rani maa says wow, her mother in law couldn’t win so now she will complete her fight. She asks how Gayatri will uncover her. Gayatri says to Bari Rani maa that today there will be a Pooja. She will uncover her today in front of everyone.
She says to Bari Rani maa this isn’t possible she can’t see Sindoor in her food that she just gave her. Bari Rani maa coughs. Gayatri says she was just playing with her. But it won’t be a game every time.Raaj Mata calls Swarna, Gayatri and Kokilla to come with her for the Pooja. It is said that a Princess mistakenly killed a man near the well, so now the Raani’s do Pooja there in similar coloured dresses and play Holi with Sindoor, so that no bad time ever comes on palace. Rana ji brings Bari Rani maa on wheel chair and says there will be no bad times now. Bari Rani maa says if there is a daughter in law like Gayatri, there can’t be anything bad.
Gayatri says she wouldn’t let anyone do any bad to palace, be it a new one or an old person. Bari Rani maa says she will go with the ladies to bless them. She calls Gayatri to hug, whispers that Gayatri is a child in the game. As soon as Gayatri seperates from Bari Rani maa she pushes the wheel chair behind, calling Rana ji for help. Rana ji asks Gayatri to be careful. Rana ji leaves with Bari Rani maa annoyed at Gayatri.Kunwar ji and Laksh stood together. Laksh says he won’t give his name to the child if it is born to Swarna. Kunwar ji threatens him that if he does so, he would take his name from Laksh.
Laksh is shocked. Kunwar ji says Laksh is Chotay Kunwar only because of Kunwar ji’s name.Bari Rani maa comes out, Gayatri turns to face her and sends the maid saying she will take care of her. She sits beside Bari Rani maa and says that today Bari Rani maa’s hands full of blood will come to Rana ji. She nods at Raaj Mata. Bari Rani maa is worried. Gayatri goes for pooja, Raaj Mata let go of a snake. Bari Rani maa is afraid of the snake, the snake is ready to attack her. Bari Raani maa tries to get back on her chair. Gayatri tells Bari Rani maa not to worry, she won’t let her die so easily. She will kill Bari Rani maa herself, no one will recognize her here because everyone looks same.
She can end her as sword. She takes Bari Rani maa’s wheel chair towards the well, there comes a bump as the chair hits the wall. Gayatri says this is for planting bomb in their car, another one for breaking their marriage, another for bringing fake Sulakshna, for making her a maid of Sulakshna, for getting her electric shocks considering her crazy. She takes the seat of Bari Rani maa towards the well, no one was there. Gayatri says why is she again scared, she had told Bari Rani maa that there won’t be a game every time. Bari Rani maa stands up with a jerk of hand. Gayatri is shocked to see him and gets to the wall of well. Bari Rani maa pushes Gayatri into the well, and shouts that Gayatri fell in the well. All the ladies go towards the well, Gayatri calls for help. Bari Rani maa laughs out loud, faking cry.
Rana ji hears Gayatri’s call for help. He rushes outside, while Raaj Mata calls some servant to help Gayatri.Gayatri was drowning, thinking about Rana ji. She called him for help, turns helplessly in the well and is about to drown. His promises to her.Swarna, Raaj Mata and everyone was worried watching Gayatri motionless. They cry her name. Rana ji hurries downstairs, Kunwar ji stops him saying where he is going. Rana ji says something has happened to Gayatri. Kunwar ji says men aren’t allowed in the pooja, Rana ji doesn’t listen and says he can’t break their ritual. Gayatri was still motionless and gets straight as the servant wraps her feel with the cloth piece he had thrown.
The help her out of the well, unconscious. The ladies try to wake her up. Bari Rani maa smiles evily. Swarna was worried, she looks at Raaj Mata who was crying. Swarna cries too, calling Gayatri. Gayatri was motionless. Bari Rani maa says she learnt her game’s rule, but she forgot the result. The one who digs the well fells in it by herself. She poses to cry.
