Once there was a king 4 June 2022: Raja gets into the jeep. Vijay pointed a gun towards Naina as Raja comes there. He deters Raja saying this is his village, Raja must surrender here. Raja looks towards Raaj Mata who had been tied in ropes and nods towards Raja.
Vijay had tied everyone inside a hut, he comes to tell Raja he would soon hear Naina’s screams. He warns Raja to move as their chairs have been tied to bombs, they will blast if they try to move. He takes Naina into another room, moving towards her with ill intentions. Raja thinks about a way and tells Lotus to take knife off his socks.Naina screams as Vijay snatches her dupatta off.Raja’s man had dropped the stabber.Rani looks behind to find a box filled with chilies. She stands up and opens the bottle of red chillies to throw it all over Vijay, running outside.
In the palace, Laila slaps the inspector. The inspector says Raja brought legal papers and he was helpless. Laila warns the inspector all her struggles would go in vain if Raja brings Naina back. Nani comes to Naina and says in chess the first player wins only because he has thought well about his next trap. If she fears Naina would return to this home, she must do something that Naina isn’t worth showing her face to anyone in the city. Naina runs across the village streets while Vijay follows her. She watches him hidden from behind a door of a hut, when he had moved on she gets back.Raja struggles to get the stabber from the floor, the bomb wire unwinds. Raja’s chair slip. Raaj Mata shouts his name as he fell down. Rani was running cautiously, still caught by Vijay.
Laila gives the news to a papers editor, about illegitimate relations of Naina with Vijay and Raja. She says the whole world comes for the drama when a girl is accused.Vijay brings Rani to the centre of ground and tears her clothes. He says he was always jealous when he watched her with Raja. He would now break her attitude and wings both. He holds a steel rod to beat Rani’s legs. She screams out of pain while he continues beating Rani. His hands stop as Raja came out shouting Naina’s name with red flag in hand. He throws the steel rod over Vijay’s chest as a javelin, and covers Rani with temple’s chunri.
He clutches Vijay’s neck and speaks to villagers that a woman is being hurt and molested, no one came to save her; today their Devi is also angry with them. People around drop their arms. Raja beats Vijay, while Naina pushes Raja to beat him to killing.Lotus had brought police, the inspector asks Raja to give Vijay in their custody, he will surely be punished. Raja sits beside Naina, he watches Vijay returning with a knife in hand and attacks Raja. He slips with a bucket, a trishol passes by his body. Raja says he had heard, but had seen the justice of God. Naina was unable to walk so Raja carries her in his arms.
At home, Raja places Naina over wheelchair while the medical staff was present. Naina holds Raja’s hand. Inside, they were shocked to see media there. The media persons ask Naina if she went with Vijay deliberately, whom she made illegitimate relations with to become a film heroine. Raja beats the editor. The journalists were determined to publish Raja’s goonship. Raaj Mata sends Raja inside.In the room, Naina cries as her legs won’t work. Laila tells Nani that today her injury must be burnt, so that she remembers how deeply she needs to hurt Raja now. Nani tells Laila to get the hot news about Naina. Laila was determined to do with Naina what the world would see.Raja comes inside the room where the medical staff was trying hard, telling her to get up.
Naina cried loudly as she was unable to do this, she cried that she would never be able to walk again. She watches Raja standing there. The doctor gives her a sedative injection to calm her down. She then informs Raja Naina had a paralytic attack, she won’t be able to walk again.
doctor says sometimes prayers do what medicines can’t do for themselves. Raja comes to Naina’s room and thinks he won’t let Naina break. Vikrant was running towards Naina, Nani stops him there as Naina is not a nice girl. Mummy comes to say Nani and Laila insulted Naina, she is in this condition only because of Laila. She won’t let their false shadow over Naina. Nani takes Vikrant inside.Laila was speaking to press against Naina. Raja and Mummy hear this. Raja goes there shouting what ill is Laila speaking. Raja asks if Laila wants to ruin her life, but she is actually showing off her own brought up. Raja gives the statement to media that Naina didn’t take a single step to be disgraced, she is a heroine in her real life as well. Laila says Naina is disabled, she would never be a heroine again. The media reporter’s question Raja who would look towards her now, she has to reap what she sow. Laila replies she won’t get anyone’s companionship in her lifetime now. Raja breaks a table out of rage, then brings Naina downstairs into his arms asking if she trusts him.
She replies more than herself. Raja burns the torn pieces of table. Raaj mata brings a match stick to burn the wood sticks. Raja takes the circles accepting Raja as his wife, he promises to be with Naina and protect her until he lives. He makes Naina sit on the chair, makes a cut over his finger with a knife and put the blood as sindoor into Naina’s hairline. Laila kept on reminding Raja about his promises to marry her. Naina watches Raja, with tears falling off her eyes.In the evening, Raaj Mata perform welcome rituals as Raja stood at the door, with Rani into his arms, made up as bride.
Laila was drinking as she cried behind them. Raaj Mata blesses them to live happily. Raja helps Rani throw the rice bowl at the door and walks inside. Laila breaks the glass into pieces with the clutch of her hand.Raja takes Naina into the room.
Laila thinks Raja has seen her love and her wait, but now he would only watch her hatred and her passion.Raja takes Naina into his room’s bed and makes her comfortable there. He goes to bring her medicine. She asks why he brought her here. He asks should he have locked her into the basement. Rani says she can’t sleep well without mummy and Rekha. Raja asks if he should call them here.
Naina confirms if he would. She tells him to get used to Muqa-lata, Raja corrects its mulaqat. Naina argues narrating a film, Raja was uninterested. Naina says neither he, nor she has changed; still everything changed between them.
Raja comes to the corridor and cries thinking about Rani. Raaj Mata comes to him and says he must not feel ashamed to have married Naina, Rani must be happy watching them together as she always wanted him to be happy. Raja says this is just a talk, would Naina ever become Rani for Dadu? He holds her face as she cries, Raja asks how can he accept her then? Raaj Mata hugs him. Raja cries saying he miss Rani a lot.
Laila hides a bag into Naina’s room as she lay awake, Raja comes inside then. Laila hides herself behind the door. Naina turns to face him, Raja goes to her help and Laila gets a chance to run away. Raja helps Naina sit on the bed and take medicines. He takes his pillow and goes to the other room. Naina curses herself for snatching his room. Raja tells her to get well soon, then he would make her sit in library. At the middle of night, Naina wakes up of nightmare about Vijay. She looks around. A snake comes out of the bag Laila had brought into the room.Naina wakes up from nightmare. Raja’s words about calling him in any emergency echo in her ears.
She thinks she can’t call a will to wash her face an emergency. She struggles to get on the wheel chair and operates her wheel chair to go to washroom. The snake from the bag had come out. Naina enters the washroom and was about to hold the soap when her chair fell off. She straightens to see the snake and screams out of fear. Laila was watching her through the telescope, enjoying her fear. Raja had heard her shouts and come towards Naina’s room. Naina sat into the bath with snake just pointing towards her. Raja enters the bath and holds a towel to throw at the snake cautiously. He then holds a bucket and places it over the snake, then helps Naina get onto her wheel chair.
