Once there was a 30 May 2022: Naina comes to mummy and says they can’t always live fearing Vijay, she must work for mummy’s dreams and is going to meet a director. Mummy blesses her promising not to stop her but only on a condition that she won’t come between love story of Raja and Laila.
Raja reads Naina’s informal resignation from assistant gardener. He asks Vijay about Naina’s whereabouts. Vijay was silent. Naina was trying to climb the wall, Raja and his men come behind. Raja drags her dupatta behind, Rani warns him to get 5 feet away. Raja steps back. Naina says she isn’t any assistant gardener, she was born to fulfil the dreams of her mother.
Raja asks if she would put herself in danger for dreams only. Naina asks what she would be left in life with if not dreams; there is danger both inside and outside the palace. She insists on leaving. Raja places his goons as shadows with Naina, and warns if Naina speaks a second word he would drag her inside, forgetting all his promises. He leaves. Naina was left staring at him only.Inside, Rekha and Vikrant were playing detective. Vijay says whatever happened last night has some connection with Raja’s pasts. They will find Raja’s secret in that room only.On the sets, Naina requests the director a single chance for work. She was denied any work.
The producer comes out of the car and tells Naina he got a new financer for his movie and will take Naina as heroine. Naina jumps ups, throwing her bag in air then climbs the car dancing over it.
Vikrant and Rekha attempt to unlock the door of the room using a pin. Rekha wonders when Vikrant learnt this all, Vikrant replies she was brought up with goons. The door was successfully unlocked. They enter to find only empty stands. They hear Naina’s call from downstairs and run out. Naina dances around her mummy and Laila excited she was casted as heroine.Raja’s man informs him Naina is really happy since Raja got her the film back. Raja warns him to never inform her about it ever.
In the painting room, Raja speaks to Rani’s painting that in a wish to hate Rani he turned to an animal. But not anymore, Rani and her love has died; her hatred would always be there in his life but he won’t anymore waste his time drawing her paintings. He keeps the painting in the cupboard.
Vikrant was stubborn in the car and throws his books as he promised Naina to watch the shooting. Raja promises to take him but only for five minutes.At the sets, Mummy was cheerful and narrates Naina’s childhood story of sitting on heroine’s chair. Naina was seated on the seat. Rekha hands her a coconut to break it in Naina’s feet. The director takes Naina for rehearsal.Naina thinks everything got well, still there is something lacking. Vikrant runs towards Naina on the set. The director takes Naina for rehearsal work.
Raja walks towards the sets then. They all silently watch Naina’s rehearsal. Raja feels each of the sentence. She comes to face Raja there, there is an eye lock. Everyone claps for Naina. The director calls her a splendid artist. Naina was shocked to see Raja there, and reminds him of 5 ft condition. Raja says he was far away, she took step by step to come near him. He walks away with Vikrant. Rekha and Mummy come to Naina, Rekha was cheerful while Naina explains to Mummy she was on mark and Raja came there himself. Mummy says Rani must focus on her work, as it can only get them rid of Raja and Vijay both.
At home, Vikrant runs to Laila excited about shooting. Nani comes to remind Raja about his promise with Laila, if a man stays on beach he himself gets dug into the sand at beach. Raja needs to give Laila a chance to get close to him, only then he would be able to forget his past.At night, Naina, mummy and Rekha return home cheerful. Naina stops by watching Raja and Laila sitting for a dinner on the terrace. They were staring into each other’s eyes. Rekha takes her attention, and cheers that Raja and Laila’s love story has begun. Naina goes to get a sleep.Laila thanks Raja for this attempt about making her happy. Raja says she shouldn’t thank him, its only because of her Nani.
Laila speaks to Raja about Vikrant’s excitement. She says she is really happy for Naina, as Naina is really filmy even in her real life. Raja takes a leave from Laila. Laila thanks him again, she is happy about this beginning.In the room, Naina lay in bed sleepless. Naina thinks she is really tired, still why she can’t sleep. She goes out to take a walk. Raja was walking in the garden, thinking about Naina’s lines. Naina comes to the dining table, her dupatta fly with air. She runs behind it and was about to fell off the balcony. Raja comes as her savior. Naina murmurs why this ghost is always sent for her help.
Raja asks her to jump down, Naina wasn’t ready but tells Raja to go away. Raja walks away, and says he would only see her falling off from here. Both keep on argue. Soon her hands slip the wall, Raja comes to hold her in his arms. Raja hands her dupatta back to her. Raja asks how she would pay this back to him. Naina asks what he wants from her. Raja tells her to end her 5 feet condition from today, she agrees. Raja smiles, calling her a good girl. He asks why is she staring this way, Naina says his smile makes her feel good. She never saw him smiling, he looks really good this way.
Raja says he is laughing after years, because Naina is not a heroine but a comedian.The next morning, Naina was practicing in saree with Laila. Laila reads the lines, Rani was worried who would help her with its expressions. She comes to Raja for help. Raja taunts if she again wants to jump off the balcony. Raja turns his face up and finds Naina in Rani’s dress with similar hair make over. The diary fell off his hand as he stands up. Naina was shocked to see him.Raja drops his diary watching Naina in Naina. Naina holds the diary, then calls him a man living in his past. She requests his help, as the hero in his shot is an angry man.
She asks Raja to read his lines for her to practice. Raja asks if she wants to use his past for her shot. Naina asks what else his past has been good for. Raja strictly tells her to leave him alone and get away. Naina repeats her lines that she can’t leave him, today not her but his past would leave him; she swears him to share these promises with her. Raja says all the promises and vows are lie, they had promised a lot with each other’s since childhood. They hadn’t forgotten their promises after 12 years, they were united but their love got into bad eyes. Their love wasn’t as weak as to lose. Naina thinks it seems to be a story of Raja or Naina.
Raja says the story ended with hatred. Naina insists he must have a misunderstanding. Raja says he had seen with his own eyes. Naina qualifies its not necessary everything seen through eyes is true. He must inquire her. Naina calls him as stupid, Raja shouts he has shared his unshared pain with her. Naina says she hasn’t seen much of life, still she only learnt life brings pains to anyone but one must not stuck with thorns of life. He must also get rid of these thorns, she watched him smile last night and he looks better that way. She promises not to let him be sad at all. Raja weakly smiles at her, replying with an OK.
Raja watches Laila drive happily. He finally asks where she is driving. Laila reads the line from her arm, and says those who divert from the paths reach destinations. On the beach, Naina tells Rekha and Vikrant about Valentine’s celebrations. She says if Raja and Laila spend time here, they will fell in love with each other. Raja’s men call them to look at the arrangements. Naina dances around, but a pole was about to fell off. Raja comes to hold her, but hugging her close to himself. Laila reach the place. Raja says Laila didn’t need plan this all. Naina insists if Raja could arrange a romantic dinner Laila could also plan a valentine’s day.
She says since the shoot was cancelled because of Valentine’s, she thought… Raja scolds them all for supporting Naina as well. Vikrant requests Raja to stay, Laila and Rekha also requests him. Naina holds her ears doing a sit stand, Raja smiles at her gesture then happily moves with the family. Laila cheers and runs into water with them. Naina feels upset watching them together. Her hat suddenly fly into heavy air. She follows it. Vikrant laughs, as he had held the hat in air with a fishing rod.
Raja says Naina can’t leave after bringing them here. Naina and Rekha join everyone. Raja stares at Naina playing with everyone.
In the evening, Laila was unable to eat Paani Poori.
Raja hands her a tissue, then helps Naina a sip of water from the bottle. Later they were walking side by side. In the sitting area, Rani points at Laila to watch Raja who sat in a serious mood. Naina and Rekha sings in competition. Laila stares at Lotus who begins the song Laila o Laila, when Laila finally laughs they continue the singing. Naina and Rekha were stuck with the next word, Naina finally remembers a song. Raja gets attentive. Raja sings for the next word ‘Sanam hua re’. Laila was much drunk by now and continues the song as she walks towards Raja. Raja comes to hold her as she loses her balance. Laila hugs him, confessing her love for him.
