Once there was a king 7 January 2022: Raaj Mata tells Pandit ji to leave, she says to Bari Raani Maa that she ruined her respect in front of an outsider, she must not do it again. Bari Raani Maa says that in front of the whole world, her grandson and her family’s respect was ruined.
She had forbidden her not to make a common girl, the Raani of this state but she had to do a trade. Now she has seen the results.Gayatri leaves the house.Bari Raani maa says that getting the respect takes centuries and it is lost in a minute. Today that girl lost all their respect. She, the Bari Raani maa orders that the girl must be thrown out of the palace as soon as possible, as she has proven not to be worth a Raani. Raaj Mata says that she is the owner of the palace and she will take the decisions. Bari Raani maa asks if she wants to change her decision.
Raaj Mata says she only wants to remind that she doesn’t have the right to take this decision. Bari Raani Maa says she will see who changes her decision. Raaj Mata says guests don’t have a permission to take decision, this isnt her house, she is the mother of Kunwar ji and step mother of Big Rana ji. She is her step mother in law, and the decisions of life are not taken by the steps. Bari raani maa stands up angrily, she says that now she got where Gayatri learned misbehaving. Raaj Mata says she is her shadow, Bari Raani Maa.
She reminds her that she is the Raaj Mata of the state, and Bari Raani maa is just the grand mother of Rana ji who tells tales. Raaj Mata must be allowed to make the story, else she must not forget that guests have to leave one day. Bari Raani maa says that she will have to regret what she has said. Raaj Mata leaves.Maa prepares a pickle and tells Bauji to drop it to Gayatri’s house as she loves it. Seth ji sat upset. The door of the house opens and Gayatri enters. Seth ji is shocked to see her, while Maa cheers. She goes and asks Gayatri how she is, hasn’t Rana ji come. He must have left her.
She looks at Gayatri’s clothes and her get up, then watches whatever she had in her hand. She asks if she had an argument with someone, is Rana ji alright. She asks Seth ji what happened. Seth ji was also silent, Gayatri looks at him. Maa asks Gayatri what has happened, Gayatri cries and says nothing is left to tell. Everything has ended. Seth ji cries as well
Gayatri says to her maa that she was right, those who fly too high fall down easily. Gayatri hugs her maa and cries.Rana ji comes inside to notice Kunwar ji and Kokilla were trying to stop Bari Raani maa who was leaving. Rana ji stops her and says no one ever leaves one’s own house. Bari Raani maa says this isnt her own house. Rana ji asks who did this? Bari Raani maa tells him to ask Raaj Mata. Everyone looks at Raaj Mata standing upstairs. Bari Raani maa says that she questioned Raaj Mata about her daughter in law and was insulted in return. Today she has realized that steps are steps.
Seth ji tries to tell his wife that he had no option. She didn’t speak to him. He was restless, he says Gayatri is his daughter, why would he do it deliberately. She asks why he is clarifying, people say that he is the biggest businessman of the city, in her opinion he is the poorest. He traded his own daughter. Why he didn’t tell her or Gayatri. They watch Gayatri coming there, Seth ji asks what had happened in Royal Palace. Gayatri says that her husband thinks she is also involved in this trade. She says that today her respect has been injured, she can forgive him for his trade by what about her selfrespect.
She says she wants to return him something, she gives him all his gifts and says she is the daughter of a businessman, so he must get all his investment back. She says he has get it all back too, his daughter and her jewelry. Seth ji gets on the floor saying he has broken their trust, he was clear in all his calculations throughout his life, but he failed in calculations of his daughter’s happiness. He says that he is her father and will always stand with her, he will do what no father ever did to a daughter. He keeps a hand on Gayatri’s head and says he will always keep his daughter with him.
Bari Raani maa says she is real Raajput, she can give her head but not her respect. Rana ji stops her, he says that he can’t say anything to Raaj Mata but he will just call Gayatri to apologize her. He claps, the servant informs him that Gayatri has left the palace. Bari Raani maa smiles, Raaj Mata asks how can she do this. Bari Raani maa congratulates Raaj Mata that in the house where daughter in law’s came in a Doli and left after death, the daughter in law has left within ten days of marriage. This is a new trend in the palace, but this is Raaj Mata’s house. She is a guest here and has to leave. Rana ji apologizes, Bari Raani maa asks why punish himself for other’s mistake.
Rana ji looks at Raaj Mata, Raaj Mata says she apologizes for whatever she had said. Bari Raani maa says atleast she has realized. Rana ji asks is she not leaving. Bari Raani maa says her bruise is fresh, she has to go right now. She will return when this bruise is filled. She leaves. Rana ji says to Raaj Mata that Bari Raani maa has forgiven her, but he will neither forgive her not Gayatri.The next morning, Rana ji plays gun shooting, remembering Gayatri. Bari Raani maa had told him not to do this compromise of marriage without love. Raaj Mata comes out. She asks Rana ji why he put his gun down, atleast this time his anger will be aimed at the right thing.
He asks what she means. Raaj Mata asks why he is angry that innocent girl, what she has done.Maa comes to Gayatri who was sitting on her head. She reminds her of a lehnga saying she always wanted to wear it, but one day she said that she has grown up now. Maa says that lehnga is still the same, she has grown up only. Before, this was her room but today she is sitting here on the bed but isnt here, because she doesn’t belong to here.Raaj Mata says he knew she is leaving the palace, still he let her leave. Rana ji says he must have stopped someone who was actually leaving.
She played such tricks to get here, she won’t leave this place so easy.
Gayatri asks Maa if she doesn’t miss her. Maa says that there is no girl in the world who won’t think after marriage that she must return home. And if she stays here she will have to bear the taunts of society for whole of her life. Gayatri says she knows about it and is ready. Maa asks why isn’t she ready to fight back then.
Raaj mata says she left the palace because he insulted her, now he will get her back. Rana ji says it won’t be needed, her Rani Gayatri Devi will come back to palace till night. Raaj Mata asks if she doesn’t return?
Rana ji says if she doesn’t return by night, he will accept everything Raaj Mata has to say to him but if she returns his opinion will be proven right. And he is sure his opinion is right.Maa says to Gayatri that she has always fought in her life from all the challenges and struggles. She asks if Gayatri will get defeated by this challenge in her life. She says that even fire has to fight with air to keep burning, today if Gayatri doesn’t fight back she will regret for her lifetime that she lost her love of life with her own hands. Gayatri wipes her tears.Gayatri comes back to palace, Kokilla was coming downstairs singing. She looks at Gayatri who passes her by. Kokilla says that her succeded game has got over again. Rana ji was ordering a caretaker to start the work for renovation of the destructed house.
The caretakes takes a leave watching Gayatri on the door. Rana ji says that Gayatri has come home really soon, if she was missing royal palace. Gayatri says he was talking about the destruction of weak houses as they fell due to monsoon. Their relation was also weak, she has come back to renovate it.Rana ji takes bath, he takes towel from behind. Gayatri asks if he needs something else. He turns to see her, Gayatri says that she will fulfill all the responsibilities of a wife, she didn’t know about the trade else she wouldn’t have married him at all. He must give her a little time. Rana ji moves forward, he asks Gayatri if she has eaten something.
Gayatri backs up, Rana ji makes her sit on the bed and says all the responsibilities aren’t of the wife, some are of husbands as well. Everyone is waiting for her on the table, he will just join them. Gayatri leaves happily.Gayatri comes to the table, Raaj Mata says she is happy that the moon of Royal Palace has returned. Kokilla dislikes, Raaj Mata asks if she felt some spice. Rana ji arrives at the table and watches the chair of Bari Raani maa empty. Raaj Mata says she is sure Bari Raani maa will come back soon. Rana ji says he wants to say something today, something that is important and near to his heart.
He says today, a drink for the one he took a long time to understand but all the misunderstanding have gone now. Raaj Mata holds her drink, Rana ji asks Kunwar ji and Kokilla to join them. He tells Laksh to hold his wine as well. He says that in the life of a palace it is very less that one gets happy, else there is always a war going on in palace. In war, the other’s attack on chest but in palace, one’s owns attack on the back and this is Raaj neeti. He says today we have a person who is a winner player in the palace, this drink is named after that person. Kokilla asks Kunwar ji if he is talking about him or her. Rana ji says that person is… points the drink towards Kunwar ji, then Kokilla, then Laksh and turns to Gayatri.
He says she is Rani Gayatri Devi. He says that this innocent face played such a drama with her father that tangled Raaj Mata as well, he says he has seen a number of actors but hasn’t seen an actor like Gayatri. She even acts with her own self, there must be clapping for her. Raaj Mata stops Rana ji and tells the servants to leave. Rana ji shouts that no one will move from their place until he finishes, this is King’s order. He says congratulations Gayatri, she has won her game and has become the Rani of Amirkot. She can dodge everyone but not him, she has become a Raani of Rana ji but Indravadhan will never own her.
Rana ji says that the crown of Amirkot has got defeated in front of her but Indravadhan will never. Today is the day of her success, today he announces that she will get all the rights of a Raani in this palace, she has got what she wanted. He drinks from his glass, Laksh, Kokilla and Kunwar also drinks. Rana ji drops the glass. Gayatri was crying. Rana ji leaves.Raaj Mata says that Rana ji did wrong today. She tells Swarna to take Rana ji inside. Kokilla tells Gayatri to stop her drama, Rana ji has disclosed her truth in front of everyone. Raaj Mata shouts at her to stop it and asks Swarna to take her in her room.
In the room, Swarna takes a leave. Gayatri asks Swarna if she also thinks she has played some trick. Swarna says that she trusts her, and is much attached to Rana ji. She just prays that it all ends soon. Gayatri says he is getting away from her as much as she tries to get closer from him. Swarna hugs her.In the morning, Kunwar ji was in the room. Rana ji takes a seat and was involved in his files. Kunwar ji says that Rana ji has taken British government in his own hands well, he has also straightened his relation with British government that went bad because of Rani. He says it wont be of any use, because she will keep on ruining the relations with British. He must put Raani out of the palace and take the office of Rani from her. Rana ji says that Kunwar ji must stay silent, whatever relations he has with his wife, she is Rani of Amirkot. It wont be good for him to say something against Raani in the palace.
Rana ji says that he is the Raja here, and she is his Rani, if someone goes against her, it means he is against him. Rana ji leaves. Kunwar ji says he hasn’t done any attack yet, else nor he will remain a Rani or he the Raja.
