NBC hot on Falz, Wande Coal, Olamide songs over indecent lyrics, celebrities react

The controvery surrounding Falz’s single titled “This is Nigeria” is yet to cool off as the Nigeria Broadcasting Organisation (NBC) recently banned and called for all airwaves to stop airing the songs. Recently too, it sanctioned a Jos based radio station for flaunting that order. The musical crooner, Falz took to his instagram handle to share the letter dated 6th, August 2018:

And as expected, his colleague who are not in support of the move did not fail to air their disapproval in the comment box:

Simi wrote: “Sometimes this country is a vulgar line”

Kemi Adetiba wrote “…they can’t stop the movement from being televised”

And in reply to his Music producer @SessBeats, Falz said “…Plenty vulgar on the way.”

Recall that this is not the first time groups or individuals have called out Falz over his choice of music and lyrics. Not too long ago, a Muslim based organisation MURIC

asked him to withdraw the video from YouTube because the female dancers in his video wore hijab.
