My desire 3 November 2023: Govind tells Nayantara and Ishani that after meeting Malti and hearing her decision, he lost a hope of meeting them both but stayed back in India with a hope that some day he will start a new life with his family. Nayan asks why he was living as Akhtar. Govind says after returning to India, he started writing poems and took a pen name Akhtar, all his books are published with that pen name and its his good fate that he could meet his children because of his pen name.
He apologizes them for running away cowardly instead of facing situation and give him a chance to return to his family. Nayan says its a shocker for them and they need time to think. Govind says he understands. They walk out of hotel. Ishani says amma/Malati knew about appa, but didn’t inform them. Nayan says Amma has her own reasoning and asks what was she doing in the hotel. Ishani lies that she was following her and thinks she can’t tell her about Samrat, Mohit, and Aaliya.
Ishani then asks Nayan what will they do about appa now. Nayan says let amma decide. They reach home, and Nayan questions Malati why didn’t she inform them that appa is alive and met her 2 years ago. Malati says she had shattered after hearing about her husband’s death and brought up her 3 children alone with great difficulty; he chose another woman and dumped his family to suffer; he went to London behind another woman and returned to India after she died, so she decided its better they stay away from him and not let his shadow on her children. Nayantara that whatever happened can’t be changed, appa is apologizing for his mistake and wants a second chance. Malati says she can’t think much after so much and needs some time to decide. Nayan says she can’t ake her time, they will support her in whatever decision she takes.
Samrat tells Mohit and Aaliya that he wants to meet Govind. Mohit says he would have left hotel by now or Nayan must be present there. Aaliya says he has a point. Sam asks Mohit to check Akhtar’s book’s publisher’s name, he will get his address via there. They return home. Nayan thinks she shouldn’t inform Samrat about appa. Samrat thinks he shouldn’t let her know that he saw her with Govind and can’t help her when she needs his help, he will meet Govind uncle tomorrow at any cost. Nayan leaves saying she is tired and wants to sleep. Ishani informs them that Akhtar is her appa. Mohit acts as shocked and says she told her appa was dead. Ishani says even they had thought same before. Malati calls her and she leaves. Mohit says Ishani and Nayan are hiding something, he needs to meet Govind at any cost. He reaches publishing house. Receptionist says she is his biggest fan. Sam asks her to give him Akhtar’s address. Receptionsit refuses to give address of their clients. Samrat says its his wife’s birthday and she is fond of Akhtar’s poetry, so he wants to invite Akhtar for her birthday. Receptionist says his wife is lucky.
Shanti asks Malati if Govind is really alive. Malati explains whole story and says he wants her to give him another chance. Shanti says its difficult for her to forgive Govind but not difficult, she doesn’t want malati to spend her life alone, maybe Govind got affaid of jail term and did what he thought right at that time. Malati asks if she thinks he did right. Shanti says she means life is short and she should forgive and move on. Govind leaves in taxis. Samrat and Mohit reach his house and find no one there. They return back thinking they should return later. Ishani tells Nayan that amma should give a second chance to appa. Nayan says amma they should leave it to amma as appa did wrong to her. Malati reaches Govind’s house and after a long discussion says she wants to give him a second chance for the sake of Chindu and amma. Govind thanks her and tries to touch her. She backs off and says she didn’t give him rights to enter her life and just permitted him to stay with children and his mother.
