Married again 4 June 2022: Aarti in the kitchen gets a message from yash asking her to meet at the blue moon lounge in the evening alone. Baffled at being called alone she calls up yash to clarify but yash senses her puzzlement and does not want to spoil the surprise as she would not believe it anyway if he told her, he keeps avoiding her calls. She is puzzled but thinks maybe he is in a meeting and resigns herself back to cooking. Vidhi comes in asking for the cut vegetables but seeing her engrossed in her mobile asks her what’s the matter. Arti shows her the message and asks her what it means.
Vidhi laughs at her foolishness as she otherwise seems so mature. She tells her that yash has called her for a date. She laughs it off saying that he can’t arrange that if Aarti is right,vidhi would make Bottlegourd’s halwa for her and if vidhi wins, then arti jokes that she would send vidhi and Pankaj on a date. Vidhi tells her to get dressed and not bother about kitchen work and dress so nice that leaves yash spellbound. When arti doesn’t take her seriously, she is pushed out of the kitchen by Vidhi.
Shobha is impatiently pacing in the house waiting for arti to come. When the doorbell rings she thinks it’s arti but finds a delivery guy instead. She takes the parcel and carelessly throws it on the table thinking about what’s taking arti so long to come. She finally decides to call her. Seeing her mother call,arti remembers that she had to go meet her today that she forgot after Yash’s msg came. She picks up the call and apologizes for forgetting to be there with Shobha today and explains the reason. Before Shobha could describe the severity of the situation and her emergency in meeting arti today, Arti cuts her off saying she’s reached the place and that she would come to her tomorrow and talk and cancel the call. Shobha after putting down the phone in helplessness is confronted by prashant at the door.
She lowers her eyes in sadness, but prashant asks her not to be sad as today is a very imp day in arti’s life as she has happily gone out to spend some time with her husband.Arti reaches the place but can’t see anything due to sheer darkness in the lounge just lit by candles. She calls out for yash but nobody responds. She is about to leave the place after wondering whether she has come to the wrong place when a spotlight falls on her and she can see the whole room with a centerpiece in the middle. She finds the room very romantically set, with candles lighting it up, and a passage of heart-shaped balloons leading to the centerpiece. She walks through the passage and sees a smiley that makes her smiley the minute her eyes fall on her, a gift box which when she opens has a mirror that shows her own beautiful eyes in the reflection and then finally she reads the scroll beautifully placed with a pink ribbon and a peacock’s feather.
The scroll says that she should close her eyes and wish for whatever she wants and when she opens her eyes, she would find it in front of her. She closes her eyes and calls out Yash’s name. She hears Yash’s voice calling out to her and she opens her eyes to find him at the other end of the passage with a guitar singing her a romantic song….tum so hi… Plays… She circles him in admiration and affection.He then gets her to waltz with him and she places her head on her chest and dances waltzes away. When she tries to run away from shyness, he holds her back and hugs her, and makes her dance.
She responds to him in puzzlement and affection at the same time. He drapes the pallu around her, she tries to bend down to touch her feet but he stops her and instead along with her, taking her hand leads her to another table which also is romantically set and has a try with a cloche on top of it.He makes her sit on the chair. arti confesses that when she read that yash wanted to meet her alone she was scared that she must have done something wrong and hence wanted to talk but she was not expecting such a romantic surprise. But she asks him who was behind the idea as it can’t be him doing such things. Yash says that she’s underestimating him and she should know that he watches Hindi films and stole the idea of this surprise from one of them.
He asks her if she liked it, She says she did, and thanks to him. He tells her to save it for later as there are still many more surprises to come. He opens the cloche to reveal her favorite mushroom pizza. She is happily surprised but again boggled as to how did he know. He jokes that he knew it by magic. But arti tells him that she can’t believe that he did all this and that it had to be somebody’s idea who knows about her likes, Like the smiley that makes her smile even in the worst of situations, or her love for heart-shaped balloons or the pizza. She makes him swear on her and tell her who helped him to plan it?
Placing yash in a fix, he is then forced to reveal that the idea of the surprise was his, but the exact way to execute it to please arti was suggested by one of his friends, who he has met thrice, once in Bhopal, in the hospital and Lalitpur. She is puzzled and scared too at the mention of a friend. But before she can ask him anything further, he senses her dilemma and tells her that he doesn’t know the name of the friend as even though they have met, he never asked and that person never told his name to yash. But saying what’s in a name, he goes on to ask if he liked this surprise, and she says she did. At that,yash tells her that there’s one last surprise in store, and that’s her favorite dessert. She waits for him to say it, He goes on to rejalebislebis with butterscotch ice cream.
She is shocked more than happy as something fearful is building in her brain. Yash tells her to finish the pizza while he goes and gets her dessert. She is left thinking if the friend he’s talking about is prashant but shrugs away the thought thinking that’s impossible but then she’s forced to think that these particular likings of her were known only to prashant.When yash goes to get her favorite dessert she is drawn back to the memory of a similar date that she had with prashant where he very similarly took care of her likings like the smiley, pizza, and jalebi with butterscotch ice cream. She is worried that her new friend yash might be prashant.
The kids pester arti about Prateik and Bhavani going on a honeymoon and Payal asks arti what’s a honeymoon. Both yash and arti are embarrassed but seeing arti at a loss for an explanation to the kids,yash takes over and tells them that when a husband takes his wife out to a nice place for fun that’s called a honeymoon. The kids ask when would their parents go on a honeymoon. Arti gets extremely shy hearing this and yash tot is at a loss for words. Just then the kids are called outside for the waiting school bus and the topic gets diverted and the kids leave leaving arti and yash alone in the room. Arti comes up to him and asks her to take the honeymoon and keep them on the bed.
yash is startled to hear this but arti rectifies saying that she meant pillows instead of a honeymoon. They both have a nice laugh over it. However, she realizes that she has to go to her mother’s place as she had promised and takes Yash’s permission to go there.In the kitchen, vidhi is teasing Bhavani about their honeymoon in Sweden and is mischievously asking her to keep him warm in winter as it’s a very cold country. She says she means it by getting him proper woolen clothes for bearing the cold. Seeing Bhavani embarrassed arti and vidhi are enjoying. But then vidhi doesn’t even spare arti by telling her to give some tips about how to spend a honeymoon as she has had previous experience with yash in Mumbai.
Arti gets over shy and gets at vidi for teasing her like that. While they get busy having fun, Bhavani is shown worriedly pondering over something.Prashant Shobha and Dubey Ji are discussing arti’s arrival as she had promised. Shobha is made to be determined that she would ask for ansh’s bone marrow for prashant’s transplant. However, prashant doesn’t want to be in front of arti when she gets to know about him. A usual round of arguments and counter-arguments follow which is finally put to an end by a knock on the door. They all know its arti and while Shobha proceeds to open the door,prashant hides behind the bedroom door.
Shobha opens the door to find an impatient Aarti waiting outside complaining that off late she has started opening the door very late. Then she comes inside and starts non stop blabbering about how romantic yash has become and how she is indeed very grateful to her and her father in law that they got their daughter in law to remarry and that too o a man like yash who loves her so much now and has become the perfect father for ansh and has filled the gap that his original father had created by leaving. While arti is gloating about yash, Dubey Ji motions Shobha to talk to her about ansh’s bone marrow. But every time she tries to talk arti shuts her up with her over bubbly exuberance and her nonstop stories about how Ansh and yash complete her. Shobha congratulates her on the surprise.
Arti is surprised where did she know it from. She fumbles and then manages to say yash,arti presumes that he must have told her too. Next arti sensing Shobha a little disturbed, asks her what she has to talk to her about, the minute Shobha mentions ansh, again by her presumptuous nature she presumes that she must have been sad that ansh hasn’t called her. But she defends him saying that he is obsessed with his dad,yash these days.
Prashant is hearing all this with emotions welling up in his eyes. She goes on to ramble about how they have become the best of friends and goes back to the time when Prashant had left her and she used to console Ansh who wanted his dad to fulfill his demands. She comments that now he doesn’t have to write his demands on a chit under the pillow as yash fulfills them even before he says it, being the ideal father. She then scorns herself for bringing up old topics and in a bid to change the topic, she asks Shobha why has she not started cleaning up the house before Diwali which she normally does, and asks if anything’s bothering her. She replies in the negative making up an excuse of time flying by throughout the day. Arti assures her that she would assist her in cleaning. She turns around to start and notices prashant’s watch lying on the table. She picks it up, to Shobha and Prashant’s horror, and recognizes it to be the same one that she had gifted prashant.
We continue with, Arti looking at the watch and is taken back to the time when prashant had that watch that she had given him and how she had told him about the baby and they had been very happy. She has a quizzical look on her face and asks Shobha how did that witch reach her.Shobha doesn’t respond. On her repeated insistence. Dubeyji comes in saying that he would answer arti’s questions. Arti looks at Shobha questioningly. He tells arti that prashant was here and is about to tell her the reason when he sees Shobha clenching her fists and telling her through her eyes not to speak. and refrains from telling arti.
Arti assumes given prashant’s selfish nature, that he would have come again for another of his motives, or maybe he needed money or a share of this house. She apologizes that she should have recognized that they were in trouble when she saw them but tells them not to fall for any drama that Prashant does as he can droop to any limit. Prashant hears all this from hiding.Dubeyji unable to take it any longer shouts at arti but looking at Shobha doesn’t say anything and leaves the room. Arti is upset that she hurt Dubey Ji by calling his real son bad names when in fact she doesn’t bear any blood relation to them. Shobha tells her to stop thinking like that and spoil her mood and then to lighten the mood, she tells her that it’s time for her medicine and that she should have lunch.
But seeing arti still upset, she explains that the reason Dubey Ji was angry was that when prashant came, both of them saw regret in his eyes for what he had done, sensing her surprise, Shobha says it sounds unbelievable but with changing times, people change like yash. She says that prashant has done many mistakes in his life, especially towards arti and Ansh, yet the fact is that he repents and is sorry for what he did. Arti stops her and says that she doesn’t want to talk about prashant and upset her mood as yash would come soon and seeing her like that, he would know something’s wrong and throw a million questions at her and she wouldn’t be able to lie. And it was their wish only that she doesn’t tell yash or his family the truth that she is a divorcee and not a widower.
Shobha nods her head in understanding and tells her to have lunch. Arti is still concerned about Dubey Ji and wants to ask for forgiveness but Shobha says that she would talk to him and that arti has nothing to worry about as he also wouldn’t want arti to keep her unborn baby hungry and motions her to have food.Once they leave, Prashant comes out of hiding and is about to leave when he is confronted by Dubey Ji who demands to know where is he going. He replies that he is going to meet the person who soothes him down in these times of difficulty and has earned a place in his heart. He walks out of the room asking Dubey Ji not to worry about him as he will take care of himself.
Location: Outside school
While palak, Payal, and ansh are waiting to be picked up after school,prashant pays a visit to them. Ansh is happy seeing his ‘uncle’ and greets him with their signature gesture.The sisters ask about prashant. ansh introduces them to him as the one who saved arti. He asks prashant why he didn’t show up at the temple that day. Prashant makes an excuse for important work. Prashant asks their names and the girls tell him, he comments that the names are as cute as theirs.
Ansh gloats about his football match where he scored 4 goals and gets a football as a prize. But then grows sad. when prashant asks him the reason, he tells him that he is waiting for papa and Mumma to come to pick him up so that he can show his prize but they haven’t reached it yet and everybody else is gone.Prashant tells him not to worry and asks him to make this face when he’s sad and goes on to make a comical face which gets the kid to laugh. Ansh suddenly recognizes Yash’s car from a distance and tells Prashant. he gets worried and after bidding them goodbye and kissing ansh’s forehead, he scurries off to avoid being seen by yash and arti.
The car reaches and yash gets out of the car. The children greet him. On being asked by kids about arti, he tells them that she’s at their nana’s place and they will pick her up and then go to the park. The children are excited about the plan. He leaves in his car with the children.Arti thanks Shobha for a wonderful lunch and comments that she is the best mother in the world and part of the reason she sent yash to pick up the kids was so that she could have her mother’s handmade food. Shobha comments that she’s happy that arti’s so happy. Arti says that she’s decided that she won’t stay upset come what may, as that can affect the baby’s health, and neither yash nor arti would want that. Shobha sensing her chance picks up the topic again that she wants to talk to her about something.
Arti asks what is it but their conversation is interrupted by Yash’s calls that she has to leave soon as they have to go to the park too for the kids and it will close soon if they do not hurry. Arti in a fix, tells Shobha that if it’s not urgent then she would like to leave now for the kids’ sake and would call her up tomorrow to talk to her at length. Shobha gives her permission to go. Arti hugs hr and she gives arti her blessings for her and her family’s happiness. Arti reaches the door but seeing Shobha worried still, she stops seeing yash calling again, she bids her goodbye and scurries off.
Once alone Shobha is confronted by Dubey Ji who calls her indifferent towards the prashant’s suffering and says that now it’s his responsibility to tell arti about the prashant and ask for ansh’s bone marrow. He tells her that he would do anything for prashant even if that means involves telling the truth about arti to the Scindia family.Shobha is shocked but he goes on saying that he would take ansh’s marrow and would talk to arti about this and firmly with folded hands begs Shobha not to stop him this time.
