Lost in Love 17 October 2022: Bhavani asks Sai to perform Virat’s aarti and says when a suhaagan prays for her suhaag’s safety, even god has to listen to her plea and she has a power of bringing her husband back to life from Yamraj. Sai emotionally performs Virat’s aarti with trembling hands remembering her Aaba bearing bullet during mission and losing his life. Aarti thali slips. Virat holds it. Bhavani scolds her its abshagun if aarti thali falls down. Sai apologizes. Bhavani says she is a policeman’s wife and should show her brave side without getting emotionally. Sai nods okay thinking she is a police officer’s daughter and IPS officer’s wife and hence cannot get weak. She fixes Virat’s hat and gets teary eyed. Virat asks her to show her bravery and with smile tie protective thread/mouli on his hand. She asks him to promise that he will return home with him. Devi insists Virat to promise Sai as Virat Chavan’s promise never fails. Virat promises Sai and asks her to promise that she will take care of herself. She says she will and gifts him a tiffin for his journey.
Mansi reminds Ashwini that Ashwini used to pack laddus in tiffin for Ninad whenever he used to go on a mission and he used to have it whenever he missed family. Sai emotionally hugs Virat tightly. Sonali taunts they started again. Virat reciprocates back, leaving Pakhi burning in jealousy, and asks Mirchi/Sai to miss him. Sai walks behind Virat. Virat says he will return safe as promised and never breaks his promise. She holds his hand and says he will wait for him. He also gets emotional and leaves in jeep while she waves him.Sai returns home and assures Ashwini that Virat will return home safe and says let us perform pooja. Ashwini tells Bhavani that she let Sai perform Ganesh pooja last time, Sai’s hands were shivering while performing his aarti and its an abshagun, so let her and Samrat or Mohit and Karishma perform aarti. Bhavani agrees. Ashwini tells Bhavani that she told her not to send Sai in Virat’s room for some more time, but she didn’t listen; once Sai entered Virat’s room, Virat got a mission call.
Bhavani scolds her and asks Samrat Pakhi and Mohit Karishma to perform pooja. Sai misses Virat. She returns to Virat’s room and remembers all their past events.Virat also misses Sai looking at her tiffin. Sai opens Virat’s diwali gift and finds a perfume bottle. Virat finds Sai’s note that she prepared fried modak specially for him. Sai reads Virat’s letter that he wants her to study well and once he returns, he will take her out for celebration and not on terrace. She picks phone to call him, but stops thinking he must be busy with his colleagues. Virat enjoys modak and shares it with his colleagues. Inspector says they feel very happy seeing him back as they thought he wouldn’t return soon, its also diwali today. Virat says even he is sacrificing his diwali with family for his duty. Inspector says their families sacrifice more than them as they send them with a strong heart and keep worrying till they return. Pakhi enters Sai’s room with snacks and asks if mirchi is missing modak.
Pakhi enters Virat’s room with prasad and tells Sai that since she didn’t have anything since morning, she brought prasad for her. Sai asks since when she started caring for her. Pakhi says she needs to in Virat’s absence and seeing lanterns hanging asks if she fixed them. Sai says they were already fixed when she came here. Pakhi sees perfume bottle and asks if Virat gifted it to her. Sai says yes. Pakhi desires to have it. Sai says she wouldn’t give it to anyone, takes it back, and asks why she came here. Pakhi says she couldn’t enter this room in Virat’s presence, so she came in in his absence to meet and welcome her. Sai says she doesn’t need her welcome as its of no meaning, she returned in an empty room. Pakhi asks if is he day dreaming as Virat is not in this room. Sai says Virat’s memories are present though, their friendship will be together always whatever problems come. Pakhi claps and says Virat talked about friendship and bonding even with her and didn’t follow either, so she shouldn’t talk about Virat and friendship in front of her. Sai says Virat respected their friendship as she is also Virat’s elder brother’s wife. Pakhi says Virat promised that he will not let any other girl in his life, but let Sai in; Sai is great that she fought with Virat for celebrating their wedding anniversary and now is playing friendship drama with him. Sai asks her to be specific. Pakhi says Virat is a man and needs a partner as his wife, but she is blabbering about friendship, so soon a third woman will enter their life.
Sai says nothing of that sort will happen. Pakhi says even she was thinking same when Virat married Sai, but Virat broke her delusion. Sai gets serious. Pakhi says she warned her beforehand so that she doesn’t face same betrayal like her. Sai thinks why did Pakhi say this now.Virat gets DIG’s call who informs him about terrorists planning to barge into minister’s convoy and assassinate him. He assures to protect minister and asks who is the terrorist. DIG says its his old friend Sada. Virat says his old friendship will not deter his loyalty towards his duty. DIG says he should catch Sada alive and try to change his mind, its a tough task for him emotionally and he shouldn’t inform his family about it. Virat says he knows protocol.
Sai thinks why Pakhi warned her against Virat. She imagines Aaba emerging her and saying her daughter who used to solve other’s dilemma is herself in a dilemma. Sai says she is unable to understand anything. He says she is married now and should solve her problems herself. He acts as scolding her and reminds her of her 10th birthday when he went on a mission and she was sad. Sai excitedly remembers how he returned at midnight to cheer her up. Aaba explains that Virat was doing same on their wedding anniversary to cheer her up, but she misunderstood him and vented out her anger on him; if someone else would have been in Virat’s place, he would have slapped her, but Virat showed his maturity and kept his calm as he loves her. She asks how will she know what is in his heart. He asks how will Virat know what is in her heart. She asks what should she do now. She ask him to look at the moon and think. She looks at the moon. Even Virat looks at moon. Sai then unpacks her bag and thinks she wanted him to unpack her bag, but he left her alone. Virat remembers time spent with Sai and misses her looking at their photo. He thinks why she was sad seeing him leaving, he could see pain of separation in her eyes, her shivering hands during aarti revealed that she considers him more than a friend. Even she thinks same. He thinks once returns home, he will set everything right.
