Kiyaan tells Rajat that he got papers and should sign them. Rajat emotionally says they are meeting after a long time, he missed Kiyaan a long and is sure that even Kiyaan missed him a lot. He notices Kiyaan playing alone and asks if he doesn’t have any friends, reminds how they used to play cricket together. Kiyaan says his preferences have changed now, he wants to become rich and one in a million like Arsh and play rich games like golf, horse riding, etc. He asks Rajat if he can give him whatever he wants. Rajat says he can as his father has money now.
Kiyaan asks him to sign papers. Rajat reads papers and asks what is this in a shock. Kiyaan says he wants to apply for a passport and wants to change his name from Kiyaan Rajat Thakkar to Kiyaan Arsh Gujral before that.
Rajat says he is his real father, Arsh is neither his biological father nor has he married his mother yet. Kiyaan says he is a bad father who couldn’t fulfil his demands then and even now. Rajat gets teary eyed and describes how happy he felt when he held Kiyaan for the first time and felt like he can win the whole world, but today Kiyaan is feeling ashamed of his papa. Kiyaan asks him to stop his drama and sign the documents.
Rajat signs documents and asks if they can talk now. Kiyaan asks him to leave as he doesn’t have time for him and gets busy playing game again. Rajat recalls teach button a shirt to little Kiyaan and says even today Kiyaan doesn’t know to button his shirt. Kiyaan warns him to stay away from him. Rajat leaves from there.
Rajat returns home upset and asks maid Kavita to get him a coffee. Savi says Kavita is not at home, his parents have gone down to visit Bappa, Tara went to Canada, so she will prepare coffee for him. He says it’s okay and tries to prepare coffee himself. She walks to him to help. Sai calls them to come and protect Bappa’s lamp.
They both rush and protect lamp. Rajat suffers a hand burn. Savi scolds him to be careful and applies ice to his burn. Rajat recalls burning his hand in the past and calling Ashika for help, but Ashika asks him to help himself as he is busy. Ashika later brings playstation for Kiyaan and says Arsh gifted it to him. Rajat confronts her for t aking Arsh’s help. Ashika says she needs best for her son which Rajat can never provide. Out of flashback, Rajat shouts at Savi. Sai gets afraid and runs to her room. Savi scolds him for frightening a kid and being so rude as usual.
Bhosales discuss who will guard Bappa’s akhand jyot/lamp at night. Aman passes by and hearing them offers to guard the lamp with Mrunmayee. Milind says he will guard the lamp with his sister. Harini says let Aman guard it as Milind has a meeting in the morning and Isha/Shantanu have to attend college tomorrow. Family agrees hesitantly. Aman and Mrunmayee then spend quality time together discussing how great musicians Rajat and Savi are.
Rajat visits a bar and gets heavily drunk recalling Kiyaan’s bitter words. He asks a waiter to give him a company and suggests him to always express his love for his children or else children will go far away. He tries to open a beer bottle with his teeth, badly injures his tongue, and bleeds profusely.
Waiter calls Savi from Rajat’s mobile and informs her about Rajat’s injury. She rushes to bar and takes him to a dentist who checks his wound and suggests stitching his tongue cut after giving anesthesia. Savi throws Rajat’s alcohol bottle away which falls on a laughing gas cylinder and gas starts leaking. Both Rajat and Savi start laughing. Doctor gives injection to Rajat while Rajat tightly holds Savi’s hand. Rajat subconsciously asks Kiyaan to not leave him as nobody is there to call him papa. Savi thinks meeting Kiyaan was tough on Rajat, but Sai is there to call him papa.
