Lies of the heart 5 April 2020: Samrat and shashi are finally happy that they wont over urmi and her family. Devi and others start searching for urmi when they dont find him around. samrat and his family are tensed too.
Samrat eyes an evil look, as he finds urmi finally having succumbed to his victory. urmi stares at him coldly, as they remember their exchange of words. samrat eyes victoriously. saroj goes to urmi and gets her inside the house. His father greets them all. urmi bends to take hisblessings. Samrat excuses himself to go to them. He welcomes urmi’s parents and everyone else, especially Gaurav. shashi too smiles evilly and goes to meet them.
She asks for rashmi, and is told that she is outside getting stuff out from the car. urmi eyes samrat sternly, while he smiles and congratulates her, and compliments that she is glowing with the baby. He tries to joke with her and tease him, and she is hurt with his carefree attitude. Shashi notixces the tension between them, and thanks her for having come. urmi smiles fake. Devi asks shashi to let the bygone be so, and move afresh. He tells them that urmi made a mistake, and they are all shocked, as he asks for an apology. he goes to samrat also to apologise on urmi’s behalf.
samrat asks him to forget everything as he has, as urmi had gone to her home only. urmi remembers how samrat actually feels about her relation with her parents. He pretends to be very happy with urmi, while buaji and gaurav eye him tensedly. They all come inside. samrat asks urmi wehy she didnt congratulate him. She just stares on coldly. Kanchan comes to break the silence between them. but samrat goes to take urmi to meet his friends, gloating about his parenthood and his luck that she got a beautiful wife and a child too, who gets her beauty and his brains.
Urmi doesnt respond at all. He takes her and makes her sit down, and relax. He tells her that she is going to be the mother of his child, and hence he would have to take care of her. she is stunned at this change, but doesnt say anything. Kanchan leaves the baby in the crib with urmi. samrat addresses them all saying that he wants to share his happy news with them and particularly that things turned out exactly as they had wanted. He dedicates the first song of the night to urmi.
As the song, TUM HI HO plys, he descends down, and extends his hand to urmi to ask her to dance, and she doesnt refuse seeing the guests. She stands still while he continues to try to get her to dance with him. Saroj and buaji notice urmi’s discomfort while all others are in oblivion and revel at samrat’s gesture. finally he kisses her on the forhead. All clap for the romantic performance. samrat gets everyone to dance in this happiness, after helping urmi to sit down. While all this is happening, the servant accidentally sprays some water on the floor.
Meanwhile kanchan’s daughter starts screaming and urmi thinks that she’s hungry. All are dancing together, while urmi excuses herself to get milk for the baby, and much to everyone’s shock slips on the water sprayed on the floor, screaming out loud. but they are relieved as they find her in samrat’s arms, who says that he had told her that she would have to take double care of herself. They all rush to her, asking if she’s okay. They seat her calmly. He asks someone to get her water. saroj is tensed for urmi, while rashmi asks her to take care of herself.
Meanwhile, samrat finds the water sprayes on the floor. Samrat gets angry asking who is responsible for the water on the floor. He eyes as the servant looks at him guiltily and gets in a rage. He calls him. All are tensed seeing his anger. He asks the servant again. The servant apologises for the mistake, while he begins to curse the servant, and is hell bent on punishing him, when samrat’s father and urmi’s father step in and asks him to calm down. samrat asks him not to interfere, saying that he cant let go of this, as small things go ignored and lead to bigger disasters but not in this house. urmi is tensed.
Location: Samrat’s residence
Samrat is super angry at the servant who profusely asks for an apology. All get tensed. Samrat asks him to do 1000 sit ups. all are shocked. urmi asks him to let go, as she is fine. He says that he has lessened the punishment due to this fact only, and is still furious at the servant, and asks him to start the situps. Aas he begins, all watch tensedly. Samrat asks urmi if she is okay and goes onto resume the party, as if nothing just happened, and is cheerful again. urmi gives a knowing glance at saroj, as they sympathetically eye the servant who serves the punishment with teary eyes. samrat tries to engage everyone in his cinversation, while deliberately ignoring the servant who he shows no mercy on. The music again begins while urmi, saroj, diwaker and samrat’s father are apalled to see the servant like that.
Finding samrat overexuberant, urmi asks samrat if he;s very happy. he says that nothing can make him any more happy, and cupping her in his arms, says that it would be a son, who would be a valiant person, and goes onto tease her about names. urmi is shocked, and asks why does he want to make his son dangerous. He says that he would be like his child. she says that the child could be made a sweet one. He says that he wants a real man, like himself.
She doesnt say anything. he tells her that now she cant go to her home, without telling anyone, as she isnt alone, and is carrying the heir to this child, and hence they have a claim on her, and for taking double care of herself, she has to stay here only. She is shocked. He asks her if she understood his concern. He says that the child’s safety is paramount. She is too stunned to speak, remembering his statements, as he gets busy with his work. She remembers samrat’s views about girl child.
The next morning, urmi is busy with household work, when the phone rings and she picks it up. She answers but noone responds from the other side. Finally, aditi speaks up saying that its her. they exchange greetings and ask about each other. aditi congratulates her and expresses her desire to meet her once, for their relationship. Urmi tries to avoid, but aditi asks her to try and come. she tells her about her location and asks urmi to come. urmi finds the servant crippling and shashi behaving arrogantly with him.
She tells aditi that she would definitely try to meet and then cancels the call. shashi begisn to scold him again, but her husband asks her to stop as he has faceed enough. The servant says that he wont be able to continue. samrat comes in rudely and says that he can go, but he wont get the due salary, as the rule is. He gets in his work, while his father asks the servant to silence up. urmi comes and apologises to the servant, but he says that he wont work. Kanchan and shashi make him guilty that urmi is apologising. urmi again requests him not to go and he complies. urmi asks him to go and rest while she handles the work today. He complies to that too. samrat’s father is pleased, while shashi isnt. After he leaves, shashi asks about the phone call. Urmi tells everything. Shashi asks her to go, so that she feels good, as she is away from her family and would feel good if she meets a member of the family. She asks urmi to go while she handles the work here.
As they come home, devi is happy that he is now relieved for urmi, and that finally everyone is happy and settled. he again starts praising samrat’s behaviour, while saying that this child would bridge the gap. Saroj is still tensed, and reminds how he treated the servant, and thats the proof that samrat would never change.
trisha calls up urmi to say that there’s something important to discuss. urmi asks if anything has happened recently. Trisha says that she isnt at peace with herself. Urmi asks her to speak. She hesitatingly says that there’s boy who says that he loves her like mad. She is happy and asks trisha if she likes the guy too. trisha says that she isnt sure but would want her to meet so that urmi can give her opinion too. Urmi complies. Trisha is happy and says that she would fix up a metting.
Scene 4:
Location: MG Road
Finally, Samrat’s sister meets urmi on the road. they hug each other, while urmi gives her a box of sweets that shashi has sent. she congratulates urmi again, and says that she is very happy and is fortunate that urmi is samrat’s wife, who considers emotions and feelings so much, and that she is exactly opposite to samrat and asks her to convert samrat into something like her. urmi says that she would have to go now. but aditi says that she needs to sit down and talk with her. urmi says that next time, she would come for a longer time. Aditi says that her husband would come soon and asks her to wait so that she can meet him too.
urmi is happy as she finds him approaching on the bike, with a helmet on, so that she can meet the son in law of the family. As he comes and takes off the helmet, he turns out to be the same man, trying to woo trisdha nd who trisha is also getting attracted to.
