Lies of the heart 22 May 2020: Urmi says that she isn’t believing anyone but is just asking about the room number Smarat shifts the entire blame on amrit, saying that he never exposed this habit of amrit, so that Aditi doesnt do anything wrong and when he got to know this, he seized the room card. she stands tensed. He asks her to come along and clarify it right now, as he cant bear this anymore. He says that he has another way to get this out, and goes to get his phone. He starts calling up the manager.
urmi is shocked, as she finds him aggressively defending himself. As the call goes through, sdamrat stands tensed, while urmi is shocked. As the manager picks up the phone, samrat asks her to go on and talk, and clear all doubts. inside samrat is scared though. urmi eyes the phone, while he wonders what if she actually does.
However urmi cancels the call, and he asks why did she do so. he starts dialling the number again. She breaks down saying that she doesnt want to talk to anyone and husg him. She says that she got very scared thinking very horrible things. samrat tries to advise her that she has to get over her doubts. she agrees.
Meanwhile amrit tries to sneak in with a gift for aditi, in her room and tries to get some money for her, but in vain, as he is thwarted pff by her. as he gpoes out stealthily, he collides into a pot and shashi notices him. She starts speweing venom, and he notices that this is his chance, and begins to blackmail her, threatening to tell samrat whatevere he knows about her equation with urmi.
she gets scared and hands him a wad of notes, to silence him, and leave shastily. he thinks that now he knows who to turn to for help everytime. He then arrogantly calls up samrat, in his office frustrated, that he dares to still call him. But amrit defiantly tells samrat that till now he has just told, and once he provides the evidence, he would be ruined, and urmi shall definitely leave him. He gets angry and starts reprimanding amrit in a rage.
Scene 2:
Location: Annu’s residence
While the entir efamily is tensed, that asha’s mother has come to permanently stay with them till asha’s delivery, she comes in with a plate of desserts full of dry fruits, seeing which all are shocked. She says that she put them for taste, while all are uncomfrotable, but are resignedly quiet.
Scene 3:
Location: Samrat’s residence and on the road
While saroj and granny come to give gifts to urmi for her teej, urmi is very excited. shashi however doesnt stop to point out the glaring differnces between theri financial status and hence the difference in the cost of the gifts, all are tensed. But aditi makes up saying that the gifts from urmi;s house are with much more love and care. Samrat comes down and voices adsiti’s opinion, and promises urmi that this teej, he would make it a very special one for urmi. urmi smiles gleefully.
Saroj and granny ask asha to take double care for herself now. Asha is confused and they clarify. anu comes saying that she too would keep this fast. They are happy, while asha displays her nonsense again, saying that she has already married without their knowledge. Annu clarifies that unwed girls also keep to get the desired groom. granny is happy with this. Anu thinks that she is keeping this for ishaan, hoping that he would come soon.
Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s residence and the office
As they all get down to eat before the fast, shashi is gorging on food, while kanchan teasingly points it out to her, saying that she would vomit at this rate. While shashi is irritated, urmi and kanchan are amused.
Later, when Samrat gets up to find urmi getting dressed, he intentionally drops the blanket so that she wpuld come and drape it over him. She compplies and then gets up. She is about to leave, when samrat takes her by the hand and drags her to himself, and begins to romance her, saying that he dreamt of having a nice little girl. she asks that he doesnt like girls.
He says that she does, and hence he would fulfill every wish of hers. but shaurya wakes up and says that he needs a brother. samrat is frustrated. They are amused at shaurya’s logic, and then urmi gets on with tyhe household chores. But samrat says that she may do her teej but after that they would get busy in getting a little girl for themselves.
As the preps go on, all are busy but get happy to find urmi’s parents come in, with their family. all are happy. Greetings and wishes are exchanged, after which as usual asha gets down to displaying her nonsensical humour, by addressing everyone by the relation tht the child bears with that person. Asha’s mother hungrily eyes the good and expensive things and steals a few whenevere she gets the chance.
Samrat descends down the staits and migles with urmi’s family. asha’s mother introduces herself to samrat shyly. Samrat teases shashi when she isnt able to see everyone happy. Then he goes onto take care of everyone. Samrat then leaves to go to the office, and all ask him not to go on thie festive day. samrat says that he would agree only when urmi asks him to stay back. all eyes turn on urmi, while she asks him to go and work, surprising everyone.
Samrat says that he maybe in office, but he wont let his absence be felt to urmi. urmi shys while all tease her. samrat leaves, asking urmi to come aside as he wants to talk to her. they both excuse themselves. Samrat teases her to come closer. When she complies, he says that today there is the interview for a secretray, and he has called girls for it, and asks her to tell him earlier only if she has any problem, as he would then settle for a male secretary. urmi says that she doesnt have any problems, with his selection. samrat leaves promising to come home early.
Meanwhile, shashi is very excited at the prospect when she gets to know that asha has brought in extra food, so that she also could have some. A banjara toli comes in, announcing that samrat sent them to entertain the ladies. all are amused while urmi is overwhelmed.
In the office, samrat asks the manager to line up the interview and asks him also to send one gift per hour, to his wife, addressed with a lovely message, specifying that it should be expensive and luxurious. the manager complies. samrat starts getting frustrated that the candiadates arent exactly what he wants. he asks the manager irritatedly to send in someone his type.
A modern flritatious girl arrives, with a mini skirt, and tight bouse, and samrat sighs leeringly as he is happy that fina;lly he got what he wanted. He leeringly suggests that she would have to do much more than just her qualifications to get this job. she flirtatiously replies that she is willing to do anything. samrat smiles. He says that the rest of the meeting cant happen here
Meanwhile at his home, urmi and others are too excited as samrat’s first gift arrives, a beautiful saree. urmi’s phone rings. urmi talks to her friend on the phone, and expresses her desire to pick her up herself, while knowing that she is staying in Hotel presidency. meanwhile, she is oblivious that her husband too has asked his flirtatious secretary candidate for a nightcap in the same hotel. She complies.
All the ladies including urmi, do the puja of the goddess one by one, and perform the rituals. The ladies then start to begin with the Jhoola ritual. The servant comes in announcing another gift from Samrat, while she is teased by kanchan and annu, and shashi fumes. Urmi is very happy.
She opens it to find a mangalsutra,and she is overwhelmed, while all others are happy for urmi. She also reads the loving, romantic note attached alongwith. She is happy, while saroj blesses her to be always happy like this. granny asks her to keep it near the puja venue, and wear it later. urmi complies. Diwaker’s arrival thrills kanchan, who was waiting for him for the jhoola ritual. but asha resists that gaurav and devi havent come yet. but the ladies ask to get on with the ritual. anu asks to call up samrat, but kanchan teases that he would come asap. Shashi fumes in frustration.
