Jalal gives Jodha the option to divorce him and leave for Amer. Jodha is pleased to leave rather than living in pain in agra. Jodha brothers come to inform jalal that Amer is under attack. He promises to send support. Jodha takes care of jalal wounds during a sword practice and he wonders if she really cares for him. Maham fufills the wishes of the woman she hired to act as her lookalike.
During meena bazar, Jodha places colours in her stall. She makes jalal to agree for the palace to play Holi though it is a Hindi tradition. jodha has two days to divorce Jalal and go back to Amer, Jalal wants to make it eventful for her by accepting her request of holi
During Holi, Maham intentionally sprinkles colour on her white dress and accuses jodha of ruining her commitment to honor her religion and husband’s death by wearing only white. Jalja is angry and punishes Jodha.
Menavati now in Amer begs Jalal not to send her daughter back to Amer as it is a digrace. Jodha is confused as she concludes that she has nowhere to go; Jodha tells that she will not go back to Amer and doesnt want her mother to beg in front of anybody. Jodha vows that she will die than go to Amer as abandoned woman.
Jodha flaunts the palace rule by leaving despite a curfew. News of her missing spread around the palace, Jalal is forced to go looking for her. He saves her just as she is about to commit suicide by jumping into a lake and then allows her some time alone.
Jalal has to go to Ajmer for prayers and the priests says that only the wife who gets the first ray of sunshine will go. Jodha is the choose one and Rukaya is angry and unsettled.
In Ajmer, Jodha sees a different more human side of jalal and she is baffled. The preist prophecies that they will have an heir together.
During a hunting expedition, Jodha takes out the bullets in jalal’s gun and he is forced to confront a tiger. After the battle which he wins he becomes unconscious. Jodha tried to revive him without success,she is forced to take him back to Agra where she is balmed for everything…
Everyone is afraid of imminent war as Jalal is down and can’t handle state affairs. The news spread like wild fire across Hindustan and the enemies start plotting against the Mughals. Rukaiya is being shielded from this truth but Jodha tells her about Jalal condition.
Hameeda cautions Jodha to be alert as everyone is thinking her as a traitor and some one might attempt on her life too to get even with her as she is responsible for Jalal’s state. She prepares a remedy for him but his condition keeps deteriorating.
Adam Khan plots to overthrow jalal. He sets out to kill the priest who can fire jalal but thankfully he is unsuccessful. Jalal wives pray for him while others gather the valuables and are try to escape the palace. The priest arrive in time and jalal health is restored by Jodha’s medicine. Hammeda gifts jodha a Quran and they are shocked to see her pray with it.
Bharmal comes to Amer and says thay Sukanya’s marriage is fixed and its only due to Jalal. Jodha overhears that. Jalal says that it will bring the two kingdom together. Bharmal invites everyone to Amer for Suku’s wedding and Jodha-Jalal will perform all the rituals.
Everyone in the palace wonders why Jalal is attending sukanya wedding in Amer despite the fact he is still recovering. Jalal jokingly tells rukaiya that he has fallen in love with jodha.
Jalal with his family starts off for Amer, BDas and Bharmal are looking after security arrangements for Jalal’s safety. On the other hand, the enemies (Rajvanshis) along with Pratap discuss how to kill Jalal and make the most of the situation. Pratap disagree with their plans of killing him in stealth while on Amer soil but at the war front when Jalal will come face to face with Pratap
During their camping, jalal and Jodha go on a boat cruise where they share a romantic moment, however Jalal notices some people and they start hitting them with arrows, Jodha and Jalal are trying to dodge the arrows, he manages to save Jodha while his army defeat the attackers. Later it is revealed that Adhan Khan had been behind the attack.
Pratab and Jalal have their first confrontation in Amer. Bharmal hopes they are no disruption at his daughters wedding. Jodha begs jalal not to start a fight and he gives her conditions one which includes spending her night in his tent. Later they both go to Madir for prayers and Jodha confesses about her promise to behead him after loving the way he prayed like a Hindi.
Jalal asks Jodha why is she sad, she explains how the mandir and murti was looted by Jalal’s army and the men were killed mercilessly and this is why she has so much anger for him. Jalal is shocked deep in thoughts and disturbed by the revelation of Jodha, he goes to investigate about it. Meanwhile Maham Anga is angry with jalal for praying at a Hindi temple but he allays her fears that he has not converted.
Jodha and Jalja seems to be getting closer with their time in Amer. Sukanya asks jodha on how to win her husband’s love. Jalal shows his fatherly side when some kids visit his tent, jodha is impressed.later she shows him her swordsmanship and he is impressed.
Jodha and Jalal share an intimate moment of understanding over a bowl of kheer. There is an exchange of gifts at the wedding ceremony but Maham burns the white suit given to her and says i remember you did same with the gift earlier, Jodha is in tears as Maham had destroyed the gift given to her by Amer royal family right before her eye.
Jalal and pratab battle it out over a luddo game, none comes out victorious. Later jodha comes to the ceremony in a green dress that mesmerizes jalal. AK and Sharifuddin discuss about their plans for foiling the marriage and taking revenge from Jalal, Meanwhile Adhan Khan drugs Jalal elephant so that he misbehaves but jalal and pratab are able to control the animal before it ruins the wedding.
Bharmal orders his soldiers to find the culprit asap but Jalal says he can’t trust the Rajputs again, Jodha suggests that he leaves and he is hurt she doesn’t care for him. Jodha will be dancing at the mehendi ceremony, although men are not allowed to be in the venue, jalal vows to watch notwithstanding.
The groom’s family ask for a difficult request from Bharmal and there seems to be a misunderstanding. Jalal and pratab tries to settle but they end up feeling disrespected. Maham ask jalal to return to Agra. Meanwhile jodha is also trying to get to the root of the problem.
AK and Shariffuddin are in rejoicing mood, AK asks Jodha to serve wine, AK tries to hold hand of the maid but Sharif stops him, asks the maid to leave, Sharif and AK talk about their plan and Jodha overhears everything , they are on the verge of getting Jodha caught but Dadisa comes and averts the trouble. Jodha tells everything to Dadisa and cautions her not to say anything to anyone. She also tells jalal but he doesn’t believe her.
Jalal gives the controversial fort to Sukanya father in-law so that the marriage can hold but he has another mission in mind: Jalal calls Atga Khan and asks his 5000 soldiers to march towards Ratanpur fort and in the meantime the marriage will also take place and then they will fight and get back the fort. However Jodha words make him change his mind.
On the way back to Agra, Jodha falls unconscious after leaving jalal tent. The next day Maham insinuates that finally jalal had slept with her, jodha is furious. Jodha very fearfully asks to know what happened. Jalal says things happened that were meant to happen. Crushed, Jodha swiftly replies that A king had to keep to his promise at all times and that she would have preferred to die than he break his promise, Jalal glares and says ..A king can do anything and is not bound by anything.
The mauvi clan approach jalal and request his to step down from the throne as he was losing the essence of Islam. Later Maham meets Jodha, tells her that she is responsible for the debacle and that she must be the one to bring this incident to a close. Jodha quietly retorts that she was in no way responsible, Jalal himself chose to come into the temple, but Maham retorts that it was wrong, Jodha is wrong and this can be righted only by the conversion of Jodha into a Muslim Woman.
Jalal refuses for Jodha to change her religion because he has made a promise to her and he cannot break his word. Hamida also supports Jodha and on the day of Court a letter from Sahikh Chishtis comes declaring that Islam should be accepted by choice and not force, he also prophecies that jalal will get an heir soon. Later Rukaiya is jealous when she learns that jalal and Jodha spent a night together on their way back to Agra.
Feeling grateful to Jalal for saving her from Changing religion, she prepares dinner for him and they share a Romantic moment together. Rukaiya is angry she thinks today jalal made me wait so much where is he? ruks sees them talking and is burning in jealousy. Meanwhile Adham is angry at the priests for foiling his plan, he makes other plans.
The preist comes back to caution jalal for his scorn towards their religion but he defeats them and banish them out of Agra. Sharifuddin confronts jodha and asks her why was jalal so generous on her first he gave her sister the fort and Now he allowed her to retain the religion. Jodha replies all the inside news she knows about his planing with adham khan and She knew all his plans about fort, Sharifuddin is shocked and scared and She orders him out of the way.
Jalal request for Jodha presence in the game room, she rejects saying she doesn’t want to take rukaiya place. For her punishment, she had to sing to him. Jalal you is memerised by her voice. Later jodha is trying to hide her birthday from everyone but jalal learns of it through little Rahim. Jalal goes all out to celebrate her that rukaiya is more jealous. During the celebrations jodha faints and is declared pregnant. Everyone is confused.
Jodha is crying that it is big thing for everyone that a queen is becoming mother but i am sad that jalal did that without my consent, hamida comes and says some big priest came to bless your child lets go, other side maham says to Jalal that priest want to bless your child and mughal’s heir, jalal thinks its not my child neither Mughal heir, maham can sense tension on jalal’s face.
