I’m On the Edge 7 August 2022: Masa leaves the room. Devi smirks. She says to Adhi you rest. Adhi says listen you talk so much but didn’t answer my question. Why didn’t you leave me there. Devi says I a medical student. It is my faith to save lives. So I did that. She leaves.Heera is angry in her room. She says why didn’t she give the proof to Adhi? Why did she stop? Urmi says what happened? Masa says go and do your work. Urmi leaves. Masa says she has proofs. She can take my son away from me any day. I won’t let that happen no matter what.
Kesar is getting curtains ready. Saradh comes there. He says you look pretty. He says your beautiful. Kesar is shy and leaves. He says you are so nice. You don’t deserve all this. Why did he leave you? I need to find out where he is.
Scene 2
Next morning, Devi is doing arti. Adhi is asleep. She says he is sleeping so peacefully. I hope you are always peaceful like this. How do I tell you the truth that you can’t take. Adhi tries to stand and falls. Devi holds him. she says you need rest.

At night, Devi gives adhi fruits. She looks at the family photo. She says who is in these photos? He says why you care? She says I am part of this house. he says you are so dumb. Can’t you see. Thats my dad, thats mom. Thats me. Devi says you are not even smiling. He says that my elder brother and thats kesar’s husband. Devi says no one talks about mukun. Where is he? Adhi says go and doo your work. Devi says where does he live? Does he miss you? adhi says where is my medicine? Devi says do you have his address? Adhi says enough with questions. Devi says in heart he is hiding something.
Devi comes to Kesar. She says what happened? Kesar says nothing. Devi says tell me your pain. Kesar says I am so alone. I am so unlucky and ugly that my husband left me alone on wedding night. Masa calls me with names. Why he left me. Devi says you are so pretty inside out. he will come back one day for you. I know there is some reason behind all this. Keasr says I have to go.
Devi brings juice for Adhi. She leaves his crutches near his bed. He tries to stand up. He says why does she want to know about Mukun? Devi comes there. He says I dont’ need your help. Devi says you know you need it but you are way too stubborn. He can’t stand. Devi says don’t harm yourself. It will take time to heal. but that doesn’t mean you won’t stand. She holds his hand. She places his legs right on the floor and he stands easily holding her hand. He falls devi holds and hugs him.
Devi comes to Kesar and says come I wwaant your help. Tell me how to make halwa puri. kesar says why? devi says because I am really happy. I hugged Adhi. Kesar says will you expect. Devi says you are so innocent. You just don’t hug to have kids. Kesar says I don’t know anything. Devi says don’t be sad. Lets make it. Saradh comes and says to Kesar I found aboout Mukun.I stalked his profile. It said he is in Mumbai. I will go there and try to find him. Kesar says thank you very much. I am really happy. She leaves. Saradh leaves as well.
Devi says to Masa I am really happy. After three days adhi stoodd. I wont let antyhing bad happen to him. Masa says why didn’t you tell him? devi says because he would be really hurt. Maasa says I am not weak. Masa says you can’t scare me like this. DEvi says I can’t fix your mentality. Masa says to your family is dirty. You will say what I want you to say. That I can never harm my son. Devi says challenge accepted.
Masa says to Devi only few hours are left. DEvi says don’t worry. What if your truth comes in frront of Adhi? Masa leaves in anger.Devi says to Adhi you will walk in a few days. Devi says you are strong. You have a great heart. Adhi looks at her. She says wanna scold me? He says no. You speak good sometime. She says take your kurta off so I can massage you. devi sees his burn.She says how you got this? He says got burned from a rod in shed. She says it would have hurt you. He says really hurted me. She says the pain lives with us forever. I will do your massage later. She leaves.
Masa says to you have a few hours left. Let the time come and seee what I do. Devi wonders what is she upto.Saradh is in Mumbai. He meets a guy. The guys hugs him and asks how are you? Saradh says good and how are you. Its mukun. Mukun says what will you take? Saradh says coffee. Mukun says you met me on Facebook and now in real. Saradh says I think you didn’t recognize. I am Saradh.. adhi’s friend. Mukun gets dazed. He says Adhi sent you? Please go from here. I dont’ wanna talk to you. His friends come and say lets go for a party. Downtown Karoke bar. Its for people like us. Saradh googles the bar. Its a gay bar. He is dazed.Devi gives Adhi soup. He says I have called police and asked them to bring the thugs here
